I ordered xiaomi redmi note3 (32gb) as on 30th july 2016. Estimate delivery was 2 aug but i received as on 12 th aug 8:00pm. I opened it i show back side bar code sticker was teared it is looking like used mobile and meager problem is battery getting very hot with in 10 min and also battery draining fast on stand mode also.     By Forwarding Reminder e-mails more than 14 Times, Chat Sessions more than 6 Times, Telephonic Conversations with Customer Support Team more than 11 Times and on verifying all the above confirmed by ebay that the amount has not been refunded to me. I had also forwarded the above e-mails to the ebay helpdesk customer support for the resolution of the same. And Finally they agreed on verification of valid proofs forwarded by me to the concerned Department/team and arranged/approved through telephonic conversation by contacting/confirming the details/complaint for the Refund and intimated me through SMS that "Refunded an amount of Rs.52+Rs.68= Rs.120-00 via Coupon. Thank you very much for your Support in this regard.

      I was raised the claim for my product which was recieved in appropirate / not described. Since maximum part of my order was missing in the courier, However ebay customer service was rejected my claim without investigating., Please find the details below

      I have received the call from eBay yesterday(18-Aug-16) stating that my claim was rejected. Please find the detail information below.


      As per the yesterday's conversation, i was not agreed the claim closure and I have asked many questions to the eBay customer representative, However the customer representative was in hurry to get this claim closed, Since they have received couriered documents from seller.

      As per the discussion (18/Aug/2016) Around 11AM - 12PM

      Question 1: Why the Claim was forced to close without solving the issues.
      Customer : I was keep on asking the customer representative to open this particular claim until the issues are resolved, But the customer representative is not accepting and he want the claim to be closed since the time line is over for this claim and they system will not allow more than 20 days to open any claim.

      Then how your system is accepting to close the claim on 23rd day? Since i was opened the claim on 27th of July and yesterday (18/Aug/16) it was confirmed that is closed?

      Question 2: The Customer representative was going by amount of weight said by customer during the first conversation.
      Customer : I was received the product on 27th July 2016, When i checked the parcel there was only Cooler fan exist, Hence i was raising this particular issues with eBay guarantee by contacting through customer support and raising the claim in the portal. On 30th July 2016, I have received the call from customer representative for investigating the issue(s), During the coversation the customer representative was asking me about the product weight. i was just telling it may have 200 - 300 Grams (It is not the exact weight and it was just estimated by seeing the product). No buddy can evaluate the actual weight of the product without evaluating with the weight machine. Then how the customer representative is going with this assumption for weight should be with that range?


      Question 3: What is the no of time eBay contacted the Buyer?
      Customer : The Customer representative from eBay is only contacted me on 30th July to upload the courier parcel photos and post which there were no request raised to me and i was responded on time (30th July itself) and uploaded the photos. And yesterday (18/Aug/2016) the eBay representative is called the me and just saying your claim is rejected, Since the seller is provided the proof of delivery and weight of the product was approx... 1kg.

      Question 4: What is the no of grace time eBay given to the seller?
      Customer : I could clearly see the eBay was offering Seller with more timeline, Since on (Aug 5th 2016: ebay was putting the seller to provide documents with 48hours time line, However the seller was failed and he was not responded, As per the notes eBay customer representative was clearly mentioned that if the seller is not responded within 48 hours, Then the claim will be approved on behalf of the customer(Buyer/ that means Me).


      Question 5: Why you have not take any action as per the notes you have maintained in Aug 5th 2016?...
      Customer : The customer service was contact the buyer on 8th of Aug and they kept notes in the portal only on 10th of August stating they are expecting the courier details, DRS, weight of proof whatever etc.. and he was failing and not uploaded any thing, Since i was not seen any documents from seller side in that particular timeline.
      Where is the disconnect?. Why eBay is not taken any action and given more time for the seller.


      Question 6: The customer representative was asking me to contact to the Fedex Courier.
      Customer : I bought the product from ebay with ebay gurantee then why should i need to contact the Fedex Courier?. It should be done by the Seller or Ebay end. Why eBay is wanting the customer to contact the Fedex?

      It is the trust given eBay to the customer?
      It is the eBay Gurantee guidelines?
      It is the Don't Worry statement provided in eBay Gurantee?


      Question 7: The customer repesntative was confirms the weight of courier will be evalauted all the areas of shipment (Means Source area to Destination area).
      Customer : I was acknowledged eBay representative and went with the postive mind that i will be getting the postive answers from courier company, However when I was checked the with fedex customer care regarding the way they are validating the weight. I was noticed that weight will only validated in the shippment area alone.

      As per the conversation the with Fedex customer repesentative, That he was confirmed that the weight will be caluclated only during the time of shipping and not in destination or any location of the courier.

      My serious concern is why the eBay customer service representative is giving false information without knowing anything about the courier companys weight validation method?

      Question 8: Why the eBay customer representative is not askig the customer to get the actual weight?
      Customer : As confirmed by me in Point2# i was just told the weight of the product may be has approx 200-300 grams only by seeing the product, But when i actual may deffers and it needs to be validated against the product with weight machine, Since only then only we could see the exact weight of the product.

      How the representative will go for the customer conversation assumption?.. Is this they way you eBay closing the claim?. There is no clarity how come you will go for the assumption of the customer?

      Moreover the parcel photograph which was uploaded by me it matches with the courier pouch, Which is the proof that seller is sent this courier alone.


      I would request the eBay to reopen this particular claim again and check with courier company / seller, Since it is not my responsbilty, Everywhere it is applicable. Because i paid amount on your portal and if the goods recieved is incorrect then it is your responsbility to send the appropriate goods back to the buyer.

      if you want to learn anything, please check with other eCommerce service provider that how they are doing their bussiness and they are not cheating customers.

        Wwe had ordered "Mini Ferrocerium Flint Fire Starter Lighter Magnesium Survival Camping Tool " (Item ID :[protected] in the month of November 2015. Even after nine months and continued follow up and publishing on ebay Facebook page neither the item is yet to be delivered, or the money is refund nor any response to my complaints.

                Ebay worst service provider in india. I had order vr 3d headset and i received in a faulty condition hence called up cust care n raised a claim for replacement. After multiple followups with ebay customer care agents but no response. Today got a call from ebay claim team stating they need 2 more days to check with seller and told me to get the product to service center for repair as its my duty to do all this bull. Ebay will provide faulty product and expecting customers to visit service centre for help. Wow what a pathetic service. As per ebay claim team its my duty to get it repaired or replace frm service centre as i have purchased the product. As per them ebay is just a mediator and if im purchasing it thrn its my bad luck that i got thr faulty product. So my question to the ebay is that u will ship faulty products to customer and is it a customer duty to to visit service centre for replacement or repair? Are you guys have a policy in which u will give a faulty product n u will not get it replaced or refund for the same because this policy thing i heard by one our super agent of ebay that u had purchased the product and u have to suffer and ebay i just a mediator.

                    I purchased a gym product from ebay company few days back.i did my transaction through net banking after proper verification.when i purchased, the product was deliverable to my home address including pin code.now after few days they sent me a mail saying that they would not be able to deliver to my address .they are trying to refund my money.this is complete violation of the rules and regulation.i warned them not to refund.if they refund i will demand 10, 000 compensation.i request the forum to take necessary action against the company.

                      Hi bought a car key chain from ebay with camera feature but the product turned out to be fake one which cannot record for more than 5-10 seconds of video even with 14 gb external memory card.
                      I tried to contact the seller but there was no response from them. Then i mailed about the replacement or refund for the product from ebay because the product is fake and not up to the mark to be sold, they mailed back your product comes under ebay guarantee and follow some steps else call the customer care if not able to follow the procedure of refund. But when i called ebay the customer care representative, she is telling that you have crossed the ebay guarantee time. I told her at-least block this seller's product so, that he would not be able to fool any other indian consumer. But she said since you brought this product as guest user you wont be able to leave negative feedback also.

                      At least, i want the seller not to be able sell this product to any other indian customer as it is a fake product

                        Actually sir/madam,
                        I want to make a complain that i have purchased a samsung power bank from ebay site 2600mah and while ordering the product which was shown me online was of silver color n decent looking but when i received the product after 4 or 5 days the product was duplicate, as it was not the actual product which i have ordered online.
                        O very next dae i have contacted the seller about the same and he said that, "actually sir the product which you have ordered is no more there in our shop"
                        O i send you this product.
                        And the product is actually very cheap & its size is so small that its even smaller than my blackberry mobile 9780 n the product which i have ordered its size was around the samsung grand mobile.
                        I even contacted the customer care also but they canceld my request claiming that it is a unauthorized complain

                            I am ebay customer from last five years.
                            Recently, in the month of june 2016, i was purchased a product, that cost is 4, 499 inr. While purchasing this product, i was contacted with seller (Seller id: lunawath), is it genuine or not. He said, it is genuine & complete set of assembly with gorilla glass. But, i received duplicate product and also glass is missing. I trusted this while purchasing due to ebay guarantee.

                            I raised the claim. Id: 2133551 as on 07th july 2016. Regarding quality of product, not get any solution from ebay. But, regarding glass, ebay said, we will provide coupon to me. But till now, i am not getting.

                            I contacted more than 6 to 7 times for about 1- 2hrs with mr. Dharmendra (Team manager), udit, swaroop sharma, pradeep singh, upesh, nadan, rajesh kumar regarding coupon, every time they says, wait for 7-10 days or 72hrs to get coupon. Huge amount of time wasted. But not get any solution. This is more struggling while purchasing with ebay.

                            Also, i contacted with "[protected]@ebay.com" (Ebay-india md) and "[protected]@ebay.com", there is no reply from these contacts.

                            Please request you to give the solution.

                              Hi, this is serious issue with ebay guarantee for my claim id - 2226208. I made this purchase on 22july and claim has been declined on the basis that you have secretly changed the time frame from 30 days to 10 days without informing the customers through sms or email. You must have informed all the clients who did their purchases after 16th july about these changes. I cannot buy your logic on this basis. There are lots of online shopping portal and you cannot expect every clients to go through their recent changes before buying the product. This is your duty to let them know through messaging and email and you had not inform me through these medium although i used your portal for buying over more than 100 products. Pls reopen my claim and resolve the issue.

                              I'm writing this email to you as indignant customer.

                              I contacted your call center for raising a complaint that your seller has given me a fake product. Your customer service agent guided me that he would help me on it and has also conveyed that this product is covered under Ebay Guarantee claim, On which I've also received an email for giving me refund on this product. I've screenshots of product details, I've those call recordings, I've emails regarding product details. Now my only concern is just make sure you ask your seller to take back the product and provide me refund. Your seller has denied the claim as this is product is not covered under Ebay Guarantee Claim, then my questions are

                              1. Why did your customer support representative gave me wrong information and clearly told over call that this product can be given refund?
                              2. Your seller is providing fake products with ur shopping portal, which we can look, feel and buy the product. Hence, your Ebay policy comes into existence of providing refund if you are not satisfied with the product, I suppose your terms and condition apply for all the product. Then how come this product is not covered under Ebay Guarantee?
                              3. If this is the exceptional condition product then why was it not mentioned in product description? P.S: I've the screenshots of the product description
                              4. If these doesn't apply then why was the seller allowed to do business with your website at the first place, when he cannot fulfill customers requirements, then there is no use o[censored]r website, shut down your shop.

                              Above all, your customer support representative calls me after 5 days and informs me that we cannot generate returns and refund of the product. Come on guys, pull up your socks, then what for your paid for? You get your salary on monthly basis because we do business with u, if you dont listen to your customers concern and rectify them, then your not eligible to sit in that place and draw your salary, at least a paisa of your salary is my hard earned money.

                              Moral of the story: Take your sh#tiest product back and process my refund, I give you time till Monday to revert back as my patience is really wearing thin, or else would approach consumer court, as you have left me with no choice. Now the ball is in your court suit me with positive solution. P.S: Next email I'd like to CC my advocate as well.

                                EBay India (Paisa Pay) has cheated me as a seller by applying wrong weight for more than 200 of my shipments in power ship mode. instead of charging 55Rs. They have charged 800Rs. In some cases 2, 200 Rs. When I called them they said it was a technical glitch and have never returned back the money even after constant followup. I am going to file lawsuit against the company soon.

                                  One month ago on date 08/07/2016 i was purchased a product from ebay after receiving the product i found defect in it. Then i raised a request for return the product they contact me by telephone after 5 days on telephonic discussion they said on 15/07/2016 12:42 that they will refund me through ebay coupon. A coupon of 110% of item value will be sent to me on my registered email address within 7 to 10 business days.
                                  But one month passed of arising and approving claim for the above product but still my issue is pending. After sending again and again complained mail tonly one replay came to me from ebayindia. [protected]@gmail.com that
                                  "we have already escalated my concern to our team and are working on it. Kindly allow us some time in order to assist you further"

                                  E-bay requested me to wait for some times so i am waiting since a long time no coupon has sent to me from ebay.

                                  Now a days they are not replaying after sending reminder again and again

                                  I cant understand how many time wil they take to solve my issue.

                                    On 31/07/2016, I had bought woodland outdoor shoes (Khaki) from ebay and on reciept of the same found the color and quality of the product not as expected and immediately (same day) informed the ebay about my concern and also uploaded the image of the product as requested by them later on. However, I was told by the customer care that the ebay guarantee does not cover the qulaity of the product and that the image matches the desription and therefore my claim is being rejected. To top it all the product does not fit me as well, a standard UK/India size of 7 would usually be a good fit for me. however, this one is a bit bigger, suggesting this could also be a fake product. Now I am left with a useless pair of shoes & Ebay guarantee.

                                    The ebay guarantee which the company boasts of is meaningless if it does not cover the quality of the product and basic returns for size related issues.
                                    The EBAY Guarantee* (100% Satisfaction or Replacement/Refund) which the company boldly advertises is misleading for consumers.

                                    Hope the company officials will take note of this complain and act to restore e-shopper's confidence.

                                      I ordered Lenovo Phab Plus on 29th July 2016 and received the product on 1st August 2016. The product is an open box refurbished product sold with statement that the product is with excellent condition and may have minor scratches.
                                      On the day I received the product, I normally tested up everything to make sure its in good condition but was surprised to see that product touch is defective. I checked with seller via email and phone and he advised to open the claim with ebay. I opened claim with ebay on 2nd August 2016.

                                      Ebay communicated via SMS on 3rd August 2016 that seller has been notified and he will help to resolve the issue within 4 days under Seller make it right (SMIR) period. I received no response from seller within this period.

                                      On Sunday, 7th August, Ebay called me up and told me that the claim is not eligible as the product is under manufacturer warranty and closed the claim. They can only help me if the service center issues DOA for the product.

                                      I called up Lenovo tablet customer care on 13th August and talked with them and as per the advise from them visited the service center.

                                      As per concerned person on the service center, the DOA cannot be issued as the product passed 7 days of period from the date of purchase.

                                      Overall the communication between seller and ebay already passed out 7 days and now even the service center cannot issue me DOA.

                                      The product is notified for defects on the very next day I received it and requested seller and the eCommerce portal for help but no resolution was provided.

                                      Being it an open box product and stating that the product is in excellent condition just like new, does not give them authorization to sell defective products which results in customer to suffer a lot and customer hard earned money is gone.

                                      I feel like cheated to purchase the product and wasting my time in communicating with the eCommerce portal as well as seller and relying on the services.

                                      Earlier I requested for replacement but after hearing so much not convincing responses from them, I now need my money back.

                                      I am attaching invoice copy of the product and other supporting documents.

Being it a open box purchase seller claimed it is fully tested but was not true. Ebay stating that the product carries manufacturer warranty but they are not agreeing to the point that the seller claim of 100% tested product is wrong. Finally I had to take it up with service center and get the touch replaced but still not satisfied with the touch response of it as it still carries the same problem even after replacement of touch screen by authorized service center.
