Brought a self balancing smart scooter hoverboard from e bay on 13 April 2016
The product was not in working condition. I. Contacted the seller who told me to raise a claim .the claim no 1909397 was raised after following up with the call centre almost like 20 times the claims dept they finally agreed to get the product picked up .the product has come back undelivered to me twice .none of the customer service personal is aware of the case all they say is your case is with the escalation team and they will get in touch with you in 72 hours which never happens . E bayside the perfect example of mismanagement, have never seen such lousy and uncoordinated service . The product is lying with me and I don't know what to do with it .

    On 16.02.2016, i've purchased htc one m8 from a seller named "umarmasroor4338" in ebay. the item was under 1 month seller warranty, i really don't remember whether the warranty includes software or hardware or both aspects.in product description page, the item was mentioned as new & a declaration was given that box has been opened for product testing. the delivery speed was damn fast, the day i ordered the item, it arrived on the very next day. i felt happy & surprised at the same time. but when i unboxed the mobile after going home in the evening, i discovered that the speaker was faulty. then on the very next day, i contacted the seller & he assured for return & replacement. i have repacked & returned the item by courier at my own expense. then they delivered another handset, which was a cdma only handset. but, in the item description, it was clearly mentioned that the mobile works for both gsm & cdma, though data will work for gsm only. again i tried to call the seller, but by their response i understood that they have started losing interest. but yet they have to get the approval of receipt from my side on ebay. so, again i returned the item by courier at my own expense. then they have sent a new handset checked by one of my acquaintances from the seller locality. at first look, the handset i received was ok. i started using the handset. for a period of time, the performance was excellent. then i discovered that the android system of the handset is rooted, which is a violation of item description as “new”. the slowly the lcd panel of the handset started coming out from the body. up to this, i was somehow tolerating the mobile since i got irritated from the seller. but after few weeks, the battery of the mobile was dead & i was unable to charge it. then i contacted the supplier, but their response was worse than the previous, after calling more than dozen times, they texted me that since the handset is having a hardware issue, they can’t replace the mobile, but they will repair the mobile & they will charge for it. so, i lost hope on the seller & hence i’m complaining for a refund since i’m more than confident that the seller is unable to replace the item. immediate response will be highly appreciated.

    21 business days are gone, but still Ebay is escalating the problem to their concerned team (as they communicated). I'm really curious to know how long is the escalator, what is the escalator speed & how much time it will take to reach the communication to the concerned team.

    Pro-active response will be highly appreciated, though I firmly believe in their inefficiency & lethargic approach.

    I'm dying to see when they will reach to the conclusion that I'm genuinely suffering through a problem & it should be resolved in no time.

    I've checked with some local vendors also, they've given an estimation of about 5000 INR for repair, if they would have given an estimation lower than 2000 INR, I would've repaired it because I've lost hope in Ebay customer service.

    On the positive side, it was an eye-opener for me that how Ebay is cheating their customers & fooling round even after receiving a complaint.

    This was the last purchase from my side in Ebay. I'll also make sure that none of my friend purchases from Ebay & suffers if problem occurs.

    From the very first purchase, I was referring to all of my acquaintances to purchase from Ebay, but now I'll strongly recommend them to purchase from anywhere but Ebay.

        I have just received my package of Nokia 1100 mobile with sealed pack 30 almost 10 minutes ago. As soon as I opened the package the result were disappointing. The box was pressed, deformed. When I opened the box the mobile phone was old with changed housing, the battery was broken and the charger was local. I want to return this local product, wrecked and want its refund. The delivery boy who came for shipping was too misbehaving. I called their customer care number, it was not working.

          I bought a mobile from eBay on 19th of May but the mobile was damaged and hence I requested them to take mobile back and refund money .
          Ebay informed that they will come and collect, but they didn't turn up for a long time. After several days of follow up, they asked me to send it to seller by courier and I did the same.
          But after two days of delivery, they responded me saying didn’t receive mobile and the box was empty and asked me to provide list of documents related to courier delivery and at the same time seller contacted me asking for passcode of mobile which means they received it .
          I intimated same to eBay with proof of message conversation between me and seller regarding Passcode between me and seller but eBay didn’t took any action against them and keep on asking me for details.
          After this I shared DRS and Proof of dispatch related to courier delivery proof but again they came up with declaration letter from courier office and I sent mail to courier office for the same but they clearly told me that they have only DRS copy and proof of dispatch and which will indicate that courier is delivered properly. I sent the same mail conversation to eBay.
          But still sticking into same letter which courier office can't provide .
          Finally to conclude, eBay has my money, seller has my mobile and I am left with nothing .
          Request you to help since I don’t get any response and moreover it’s a huge amount that I invested.(38, 000/-)

              Sir please must study my case. i'm in very fix. i have done all the possible process but still solution is not there. i just purchased an iphone in jan 2016 around rs 32k from ebay which was under 1 year india apple warranty. but after two days i found that it was out of warranty and i did all the valid process to provide the proof. and on 20 may after very difficulties i shipped the mob back to seller as ebay team told me.

              My parents are always irritating on me, and i don't have any answer. please try to under stand me. i don't know where to go from this world. they are not helping me and i don't have any idea to whom i talk.
              Please help me and last time i also provide to ebay shipping receipt, some photos of shipping iphone and imei no and as well as serial no of the phone. please refund my money to my bank account and believe me in future i'm never gonna purchase any thing online.

                      I am struggling to process my refund via ebay. I had purchased item:[protected] htc data cable which i didnt receive. I had opened a refund claim in ebay, post which i have called many times to the customer service toll free but everytime i receive a same answer that i will receive a call from ebay in next 48 hrs and the refund will be processed. I had odered the product on 11th may, refund claim was approved on 4th june. Today is 29th june, still ebay people are giving some excuse everytime i am calling. I am highly dissatisfied with the ebay customer service and same was not expected by ebay that such a big company and the processes are so unprofessional not to process the refund as promise.

                      This means when i purchase from ebay i have to be prepared and take out time to fight with ebay. It has happened before also. I need compensation for all the frustration caused by this fraud people. I have done a mistake by relying on ebay processes, it seems like that.

                          With reference to the above, i am very surprised to note from your email and earlier emails from your support team that, your support team didn't find any communication from my side. I hereby inform you that, i had already made communication with your customer support in time and attached below the e-mails forwarded requesting extension of time due to holidays and your system also acknowledged automatically on the said dates for your quick reference. But the claim adjuster and ebay customer support didn't care the e-mails nor considered both the e-mails forwarded by me and closed the claim accordingly. I also objected against the resolution of closing the claim without considering the request emails from me and the same is attached below for your reference.

                          Please note also that, as instructed by the ebay customer support official, i had contacted the seller more than 6 times through e-mails, telephonic conversation and by sending sms till yesterday also. One of the reply received from the seller is attached below for your quick reference. Yesterday he directly telephoned me after sending the chat with ebay report and getting the sms from me and he says that the amount will be debited by ebay in his account, ebay is responsible for the resolution since the product was shipped by powership, he also informed me that, he contacted ebay yesterday and lastly says that he is not willing to suffer the loss, please contact ebay claims department they have to resolve the issue.In view of the above said circumstances, i want to know who is responsible whether the seller or ebay. Please clarify and resolve the long pending issue without prolonging the issue at the earliest. Please note also that, i have valid proofs regarding the communications made by me in time and the acknowledgements from ebay customer support team in support of the claim raised.

On verification of the sms received from the seller in reply to my sms as mentioned in my earlier e-mails, and on verification of today's valid reply received by me from the seller without contacting/replying to ebay, i want to know "who is responsible for the resolution of my serious case whether ebay or seller" and at the same time the seller escaping from the resolution of the case by informing me that the ebay's claims department is responsible for the resolution of the same/case. I therefore request you again that, kindly resolve the serious long pending issue on considering the valid facts at the earliest amicably without prolonging to avoid legal formalities. Hope you will re-consider the serious long pending issue and resolve the issue amicably and arrange to refund the amount of the damaged product which was received by me at the earliest.

                          With reference to the sms forwarded to you as per instructions received from ebay toi contact you for the resolution and replies received from you, i hereby inform you that, you have not contacted ebay customer support officials till now as promised through telephonic conversation that you will contact ebay to resolve the issue and after repeated telephonic calls and reminder sms after 1 week replied and cheated me by giving hollow promises through the sms ie: 1) sir, i am out of town for a week after repeated sms. 2) sir ebay guarantee is handled by ebay i cannot do anything in this case regards ismail abbas karbari. Please note that, the damaged product was shipped by you to me not by ebay and you have to take decision and resolve the issue by contacting ebay is the better way to get good feedback from the purchaser and just to remember that. I therefore again request you to contact ebay and give instructions to refund the amount of the damaged product at the earliest without prolonging the serious issue and to avoid legal formalities.

                            I purchased a item on ebay on may 18 and since the quality not good i asked for refund so they given me a coupon which is not working since they told i logged with guest account. I was calling and tracking regarding the issue they r telling it wil be solved by eod from 24 may. But till today the date 29 june i had not received my money. This ebay was cheating customers by saying 110 guarantee. Please take necessary action on ebay.

                              I have purchased a hdmi of sony seller "jenupy2j" has shipped item "sony dlc-he20hf 2m 1.4 hdmi 3d cable sony hdtv ps3 xbox 360 high speed 1080p" (Item id:[protected] on 06-may-16. But product not working... I tried to replace but no response from seller... Hope you solve it... Till now no response from ebay or seller. Tell me where i have to complaint for further action. This is the only company that has cheated me. I did not get any claims from ebay. Let me know how to put case on ebay, i kept that cable to return. But no one came to pick up the cable...

I was assured for the delivery on 22 jun - 24 jun 2016. But product not receive. My claim i'd is 2110112, 2110099, 2110079, so please refund the amount to my bank account and confirm the same.

                                  By Forwarding Reminder e-mails more than 16 Times alongwith attachments of Axis Bank Credit Card Statements as requested by the Paisapay support team for verification of the Non receipt of Refund as proof, Chat Sessions more than 6 Times, Telephonic Conversations with Customer Support Team more than 21 Times and on verifying all the above confirmed by ebay that the amount has not been refunded to me. And Finally they agreed on verification of valid proofs forwarded by me to the concerned Paisapay team and arranged/approved for the Refund and intimated me through SMS that "Refunded an amount of Rs.238-35ps towards PaisaPay ID 41330055459" and the Claim amount Credited to my Axis Bank Credit Card account on 22nd July 2016 vide their Ref.                                     I purchased digiflip pro xt 712 from eBay. It has one year manufacturer
                                    warranty and it's hardly 4 months, the product is not working. Suddenly tab
                                    is not getting charged.I tried for all the service centres and all the information about many service centres is false.I am very much disappointed with the product and the service. When I contacted eBay about the faulty product, they are telling that since it is under one year manufacturer warranty, seller is responsible for the fault. When I contacted seller, they told it's not their responsibility. Even I contacted digiflip customer care, they are telling it is seller, who should claim for the product.Please refund my amount for the tab. I waited for too long for the betterment of my tab and completely fed up with the service.

                                    All the service centers which are provided by the seller are fake. When I contacted the so-called authorized service center in Chennai, it turned out to be a watch service center, I have all phone recordings also. It is the same situation for all service centers. I want my complete money back.It is completely a mistake of seller to send a faulty product, which did not work for atleast 4 months properly. Since Ebay is medium for buyers and sellers, Ebay should take responsibility in refunding my money. I trusted Ebay, but it failed to keep up that.

                                      I bought a 16 gb apple I-phone 6 two months back from this side but they sent me a used product and instantly i raised a claim. According to their policy the matter should have been resolved within 20 days but till now I haven't received my refund even after continuously calling ebay team. I was asked to ship the product back to the seller and they will pay me the shipping charges. I have done this as well but still there is no initiative from the website. They are rude and have also hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation. It has been really frustrating for me. I want my 35000 rupees asap or else I am going to file a case of fraud and harassment very soon.

                                      I have done everything. Even on twitter I got assurance from your team that it will be taken care of. But still no initiative has been taken from your side. Do one thing give me all your possible ids, sites, phone nos and what I will do is leave my job and everything else and will keep complaining to each of available contacts in order to receive my refund . Since My calling everyday for past 45 days is of no use I guess this is the option I will have to take. First you send me a used product and then you harass your customers.

                                        After redeeming my 22 payback points. After redeeming that point i got the discount of 5.50 rs on payment page i opted for net banking i filled my bank account details after clicking submit. I got the message it showed payment failed. But my balance from bank account is deducted. When i seen the last transaction it showed it on the name of ebay. Even after transferring of money they showed payment failed. Till now i didn't receive my refund. With this post i request ebay to refund my money please help me because i didn' t got any response when i complaint and asked for help through your email from your customer care.
