I purchased a Electrolux 23 L convection microwave in august 2012 from Big Bazaar, Durgapur.
I was informed that demo and installation will be provided by company;
I even got sms stating that my call has been registered with call no: EKOL[protected] ( i did not call, may be it was registered by big bazaar - a good gesture, thank you).
I also got an sms that Mr Lakshindar Singha ( ph no-[protected]) will service the same.
Now till this point everything was fine, then problem started:-

1. No one called or visited my place, and i waited patiently for them to arrive ( i understand they have many places to attend).

2. After about a month I called Mr Singha in his mobile no, and he behaved as if totally ignorant about service to be provided, bluntly told me they do not service Electrolux, and when i pleaded as to what should i do then, he said he will inform the concerned agency/person who will provide the service.
Again I waited patiently but no one responded.

3.I called Electrolux service call center no[protected] on 08.11.12 and the person was very polite and informed me that my problem will be addressed and representative will visit my place by tomorrow i.e 09.11.12 and also an sms came with call no as : EASA[protected]. I informed them that it is still in box pack condition and i did not open it.

4. I waited again but no one called or arrived.

5. i called back again on 09.11.12 to the call center no informing that no one arrived. This time the representative was rude, informed that it takes 48 hrs for service, on which i agreed that it is fine if representative comes next day then. but then he said he cannot confirm that and that this service will be chargeable!!............ how come a demo/ installation be chargeable, when it was not provided due to fault of the company? the representative was rude and was not interested in any reasoning!

Please help me:

I want demo / installation of my microwave.
It should be free of charge.

my micowave is still in box pack condition and i did not open it, waiting for the installation.

    I got an electrolux washing machine on 26 january,2011 with 2 years warranty.It was of rs.8910 and was brand new.In recent few months it started troubling us with some mechanical problem.After calling the costumer service of the company,the mechanics started fooling us by saying that they will come that very day but no one DID appear so that the warranty period expires and we have to pay a whole of pocket for that.After several complaints the mechanic came but he DID not repair it properly,instead gave us another problem in the machine.Earlier knowing that the bill was lost no one came and now when the bill is found the machine was troubled again.Our phone numbers were drove to the reject list of the mechanics and e-mails were rejected cy the domain of the company address.Till date,after six months,we are facing problem in the unrepaired machine and the loss of rs.500 was only wasted in calls to the mechanics requesting them to come to fix the machine and the calls are on even today with no response.

    Electrolux Washing Machine — Poor repair/service

    My 3 year old washy-talky stopped working on 5th July 2008 so I called up "United Engineers", the authorized service center of Electrolux in Noida. The complaint number being - 25923. The service engineer came for a visit and after inspection, he told me that the main motor needs to be replaced and that would require the appliance to be moved to their workshop. I agreed and the same day they lifted the appliance from my house.

    I got the machine back after two days with a bill of Rs 2700/=. While dropping back, the washing machine was not sent along with any technical person but only with the delivery man. He fitted the machine and showed me that the tub was rotating. I was also comforted to see the motor working.

    After the delivery man left with the payment, I loaded the machine with two days pending laundry which was enough to fill the tub but the automatic fuzzy logic didn't show the correct configuration according to the load. I had to correct the configuration manually. I tried it several times but the fuzzy logic was not working properly. The problem not being a show stopper I carried on with running the machine with the manual configuration. After the wash was done, it started to rinse and spin the clothes. With the spinning a strange and hideous voice started coming from within the machine, so horrifying that I had to stop the machine immediately.

    I immediately called up Mr. Gaurav, the incharge o[censored]nited Engineers to tell him that even after paying Rs 2700, the washing machine is absolutely unusable. He assured me that he will soon send the engineer to check the things. This conversation happened around 2 p.m. and till the end of the day nobody turned up. Meanwhile I followed up with him around 3 times and every time he gave me the fake assurance. Before closing his office he did not even bother to tell me that his engineer will not be able to turn up.

    The bottom line is that I have paid a hefty sum of Rs 2700/= for a pathetic repair job in which the service center has not even bothered to test the washing machine after the repair. They repaired one problem only to introduce two more problems. The machine was unusable earlier and is still unusable but the authorized service center has grabbed Rs 2700 from me.

    This incidence shows the insensitive and unprofessional attitude shown by an authorized service center of a global MNC. These people deserve to be sued in consumer court.
    I agree with you even my washing machine stop working from 12 november 2008 and I had complain many times right now I had two complaint no. but still they are not able to repair the machine I asked for replacement but their is no responce from that side. I am living in a joint family due to that we face many problem and even I feel that these people deserve to be sued in consumer court.

    Electrolux Washing Machine — pathetic service and problem still remaining

    we have an ekectrolux washing machine which used to make alot of noise.
    we lodged a complaint in paul &compay .they sent an engineer who said it would cost us 1500 .
    on sending the maachine for service the price increased to 4200.we still sid ok
    they kept the machine for 4months and then on repeated complaints sent it but the machine still makes noise they say there is a problem with the motor!!
    when they took the machine for the first time they sid they would be checking all the parts.when we questioned them they said that the part was not available now they are asking for more money!!

    please look into the seriously as it is causing alot of inconvenience.

      In India Have logged these complaints and have paid 10,000Rs in multiple installments for fridge repair. From compressor to timer to condenser have been changed… not sure what is left to change and the fridge is not working. After multiple complaints in a month your service people have asked for money today for service charges. Your people don’t have even courtesy not to ask for this when all past complaint numbers have been shared.

      Even now the fridge is not working. Below are the list of complaint numbers. Hope some one is there listening………………….

      I will not recommend any one to buy Electrolux products. They have the worse products and pathetic service network.

        FREQUENT UNSERVICEABILITY OF FRIDGE


        Sir,

        1. This is in referance to refrigerator I purchased from Electrolux with details-

        Model: EKL 275 FF
        Doble Door
        Capacity; 270L
        PNC No[protected]
        Sr No 41206040
        2. I was told by marketing and saleman that this is refrigerator of year known as ozone model , They told Electrolux is best refrigerator in market and it is having 24 hrs customer/service support. But contrary to all these , the refrigerator was having pathetic performance and a very poor service support.

        3. Since the time I purchased the product within 2 years it had stooped cooling twice, then the problem of timer, followed by problem in intermittent cooling. Then again timer got unserviceable. Again the lower part that is lower door area stopped cooling then biometal changed . Now again stopped cooling.

        4 Within span of few years it was unserviceable many times.

        5 Every time refrigerator got ununserviceableserviceable it caused all perishable items spoiled and caused tremendous inconvinience and unnecessary expenditure towards repair of your poor quality product.

        6 It is evident from the facts specified above that the product performance promised and the customer service support assured was not there at all, This has caused lot of inconvinience to us and we have reached a state where we want to return this product back to you.

        7 It is requested thatproblem be addressed correctly else product be returned to company, else I reserve my right to raise the issue to higher level.

          We have purchased an Electrolux window AC on 22.04.20012 vide model no. AC-EKL-Window-1 STON -WB52-CDI-CC 2 STAR s.no.[protected]/[protected] bill no. [protected] dt. 22.04.2012 from Next Mahagun Mall, Plot No.VC-3 , Sector-3, Vaishali, Ghaziabad-2. Now we weat to bring it to your attention after two months AC become very useless we made so many complaints but bobody is taking care of this nor they bother to replace the parts.
          1. Day one complaint two persons came to our house and told us AC Gas to be filled then they filled the Gas but there is no solution for our problem. After two days the same problem occurred.
          2. After our second complain the people came and told us to replace the copper coil and the parts are damaged. Now we complained on 11the September for replacing of parts and filling Gas. But nobody came and check the AC. We need the answer from you people.
          I. were we can treat our headache what is the policy of Electrolux company, we think you are making the customers fool. But think customers are not fool, we are informing you that if you not taken any action with in this week we are compel to go to the customer court.

          ELECTROLUX WINDOW AC — Servicing due

          My AC is in warranty period. I have been trying to cotact customer care centre through given no.39404040 & [protected]. However there is no response and audio message informing that all the executives are busy keeps on running.

          Company's authorized service centre at gurgaon (Hr) is very cheater. At the time of service of windo AC, they say that, condensor to be change. they given a bill of Rs. 1500/- for servicing and change of condensor. After this, AC is not working after two days. we complaint again to service centre and say the gas is to be filling. we are waiting last three days to rectify the AC camplaint. till today they are making more BAHANAS coming after 15 mint. half an hour, late in evening. but the service provider is not coming. In this summer, a small child could not aware this hot days.

            I am very much unsatisfied buy the Electrolux. They care not listing to their customers. i had submitted my complaints every months for same problem (water leackage). Since the day first washing machine is creating problem during its working. Every time when a wash the clothes i am facing same problem (water leackage). Tell me what do i?             Electrolux Refrigerator — Water leakage

            There was water leakge in the refrigerator .we called the authorised service centre uru star services for the compliant.he changed the timer, biometal and charged rs.2060/-.but the problem still remains. after repeated calls to the uru star services, people never turned up, though always cofirming for the visit every time we call.
            Can electrolux solve our proble.
            I realised that electrolux doesn't even has a call centre to register compliants

                We bought an electrolux double door fridge in 2008(serial no:er37ff[protected] pnc no[protected],
                within a few months there was a problem with the cooling.service engineers came and repaired it for a bill of 350.
                Again within a few weeks the cooling stopped and the service engineer changed some parts(i have all the bills and receipts.)
                this happened once in 3 weeks and when we approached the shop he replaced the product.
                But this fridge also has the same problems and since we have already spent more than the cost of the fridge itself on its repairs ,we stopped trying to get it repaired and we bought another fridge(another brand) which is working well.
                But i would appreciate it if the company can take the fridge back and reimburse the money since i have no hope in any product of this company.

                  I’m facing problem with my Electrolux Refrigerator and following up with Electrolux Helpline No. and Service Center in Gurgaon.

                  Till date below trouble shooting has been done by Electrolux Service Center:
                  1. GAS AC has been changed twice;
                  2. Compressor has been changed once;
                  3. Pipes have been changed once.

                  Charges Paid by myself:
                  • INR 330/ as service charges;
                  • INR 1,850/ as GAS filling charges;
                  • INR 2,650/ as Compressor replacement charges.
                  TOTAL INR 4,830/- has been paid with NO solution so far.

                  Seems Sr. Engineer is also NOT able to diagnose the problem and Service Center is unable to provide solution.

                    ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATOR 245 DOUBLE DOOR

                    I have model ER24 DHOLVI 245 lt Luxery Voilet ice its vegetable basket and foldable shelf are damaged I am trying for a new one for the last 6 months so we called customer care and lodged a complaint. They say call is attended within 48 hours neither the customer care nor the dealers are responding to our complains. We have already called customer care three times, but a phone call comes and they say that parts are not available I am sorry to say that a branded company"s spare parts are not available in the market what should i do with this fridge? I dont know where to get them from I went to the local dealer they are also helpless & they are not helping me kindly help me.

                      I am SELVAKUMAR and I am residing at 5a sathyamurthy street,iyappa nagar,kanchipuram.I have given complaint on 23rd august as my refrigerator is not working properly and as per previous complaint they have told it's gas leakage problem and hence two service person came from z-axis services in 35/19,alagesan street,west tambaram,chennai-600 045 on the basis of complaint no:ECHN[protected].The name of service engineer is mr sathish and he has committed rs.850 as charge for gas charging through telephonic conversation but after reaching my residence he told rs.1500.I have accepted it because the problem has to get rectified as soon as possible.But even after the service its the same problem exist in the refrigeration.The followup of the customer care and service persons have been going on for more than a month but the problem is not rectified. so it's the pathetic worst disgusting and irritating experience that i never had in my life before, hereafter i will not go for this company for my future purchase untill and unless i will get the good response for this issue.

                      I had given a complaint for my Electrolux Refrigerator , Model No : ER-40FF on 25th Feb, 2010 Complaint No : HYD[protected]. The complaint was registered on Electrolux Company's customer care no[protected] as I am based in Hyderabad. It took 7 days for their service provider to attend the complaint after lot of follow up where as the company claims to provide service within 24 hours.

                      Finally they have changed some timer & charged me Rs. 1,450/- for the same & given me Inv. No-17777 dt. 3/3/10 for Rs. 1,450/-. They informed me that the problem has been solved and my refrigerator will start perfectly now.

                      Within 2 days the refrigerator's cooling stopped again. I called the service provider in Hyderabad who had attended my complaint. He kept on postponing for 2-3 days & finally told me that the timer actually replaced by them is not matching one with my refrigerator & told me to register the complaint again with customer care at 39404040 & we'll get the actual timer & replace it free of charge as they had already charged me Rs 1,450/- for the wrong timer fitted.

                      I registered the complaint again on 11th March vide complaint No : HYD[protected] (i.e. S.No 30 of 11th March)to replace the correct timer immediately as I had already suffered for almost 2 weeks.

                      Today 17th march is over, i.e. again 7 complete days are over and nobody has come to replace the timer & rectify the complaint. We are daily calling them 8-10 times with no effective reply. Every time we are getting the same reply that technician is starting but nobody came again for last 7 days.

                      The contact no where I am in touch after registering my complaint with customer care who had come earlier after 7 days & replaced wrong timer are as follows :
                      Hyderabad Service Centre No[protected] . I am also calling their service incharge as well as technicians but nobody is able to help & are giving one excuse after the other for the same.

                      I am planning to approach the Consumer Court with all the details as I have all the related papers & information with me.

                      Their service centre in Hyderabad is totally spoiling the reputation of lectrolux brand by harassing people like this that also in such extreme summers & high temperatures. How can they expect a person to live without a refrigerator for 3 weeks as I am suffering since 25th Feb.

                      I had purchased this Electrolux Refrigerator with great confidence & had been recommending lot of people earlier to buy this product as I liked the product but after such after sales experience, I recommend everybody not to buy Electrolux in their life time.

                      There are no numbers provided of Videocon Gurgaon office where we can complaint to some seniors. That’s why this service provider in Hyderabad is taking customers for a ride.

                      Now after almost 3 weeks, my complaint still remains unattanded.

                      Pls see if you can take some action on the same to teach a lesson to Electrolux Company.

                      electrolux fridge — Worst product & worst services with worst people working over there

                      First of all complaint responded after one week and than service person came after more one week. Finally he told that it will be repaired under warrantee and took 200 Rs. as advance (for gas filling which doesn't come under warantee). Than three days later he told that by mistake wrong parts has been issued so it will take two more days. After a week later person told that some other person will come in one or two days. After that the other person told that warantee period is over so can't be repaired. When we asked to return the advance money the first person is telling he will return withiin a week. Now money gone, both the person are not even picking the call, costomer care is helpless and service center person is telling it was our fees, what a brilliant work force and what a quality service they provide taking money but not at all responding and telling it is our fees for visiting your home for seeing your bloody faces. Great going. Now i am using that refrigerator as a shoe keeper outside my main gate.
                      I facing the same ind of problems as the other consumers facing as we bought a electrolux fridge from Kanhaiya electronix Bilaspur CG in the month of oct.2009 at that time the company was giving some scratch cards with their product but the specified dealer told that the cards couldent reach their place yet as soon as it come we will inform you to collect it but from that day to till date the dealer not giving any card against my purchase, other then this under warrenty period I m facing the moisture on outer side of fridge and also noticed every day that some amount of water stored on the floor out side of fridge then I also found that after reguler cleaning the fungus spread all over the outer side of doors and on the gaskett area I have complaint to the tolfree no of companies customer center they have gimen me a compaint no and within 3 days their service engineer has come and told that funguse problem will be solve after changing the gaskett, the other problem that water comming out from the defrost tray as all knows that this tray store the access water and emtied by reuse by the fridge but thay have emtied it manually and told us to do this within a week regularly which is not the right way as it is a frost free refridgerator, that is the story till the day the engineer attanded my complaint but he gone beck with that promise that he will come beck with a new gaskett to change but next day the service engineer of dealer has been sent by him they just came and checked out our bill no and gone beck after waiting a week again I called us to costomer center but they told that yr complaint has been closed as it rectified it was realy shocking again they registerd my complaint with a new complaint no but from that day to till day I am keeping them remind but no body's comming from their side its realy paining that we have spent our precios time and money with this worst product of worst company with the worst dealer.
                      I also made complaints for my refrigerator and they have changed the NEW TIMERS AND CHARGED In last year May, But after 15-20 days the same problems was faced by us. As the Electrolux by name it stands for quality prodcts but it seems that co is not giving satisfactory replies/services to its customers.Now my Refrigerator is in Switch off mode as cooling is not there.

                      I personally inform to the Country people not to buy any products of this co as they are giving only pain to their customers and enjoying with their hard money.

                      Myself Vishal Ghodke residing in Pune, Pimple Gurav. In the month of March I purchased a Microwave oven of Electrolux from Vijay sales (Banner). But suddenly on 26-June-2011 it started malfunctioning and later the power supply was cut off.

                      I immediately logged a complent regarding the same to the customer care and the call ID is PPU[protected]. After two days on 28-Jun2011 service engg. reported and concluded that the power cord needs to be replaced. I asked him atleast he should carry the power cord with him, if the problem is of motor or any other part we can understand but just for power cord if its going to take next two days than I think Electrolux should take this into consideration.

                      Now this was just the background, on 06-Ju-2011 I again called to customer care for the feedback as the engg. was till not reproted the customer care representative said that the engg. will report in 24 hr. on 07-Jul-2011 engg. Mr. Nitin called me and said he will be there till evening and the day passed away just wating for engg. to report.

                      I just want to ask Electrolux that do they beliave in commetmets or just for a fun sake they sale their products which are of no use. Sir, please take a strong action against Electrolux as this is my humble request and I will never suggest any one to purchase Elextrolux appliances as they just stop working in hardly 2 months and the worst case is the product is in warenty and still the service is so poor what if the product if out of warenty, I think I will have to use my oven as a safety locker just to keep things.

                      Sir, this is my humble request please solve my problem and ask Electrolux to improve their service.

When all the customers will read this, may be they will get the clear idea what kind of service they are providing to their customers. I want people should thing before choosing the electrolux product. I made a complaint for my semi automatic washing machine but these guys are least bothered, daily i am following them but they are giving non sense reason for not doing there job. Not only this even the Area Service Manager assured me that it will rectified by Monday till now there is no call from him and if i call his number he is also not picking up the call and and then it becomes not reachable. his mobile no. is 91-[protected]. The complaint number is EBLR [protected]
                      I request the social media to of the company to address this issue to the correct dept, so that atleast due to some persons the Electrolux as a compay should not suffer.

                          Our Electrolux double door 235 L refrigerator was not cooling properly so we called customer care and lodged a complaint. They say call is attended within 48 hours but the serviceman took more than 3 days to appear. He checked the fridge and told compressor and all parts are ok only gas filter and gas has to be changed. He changed the parts by welding and charged Rs 2600/- on 24/08/2012. He said to keep the fridge ON overnight. But next day it was observed the fridge was not cooling again. We called him again and after making several calls he came and told that now compressor is not working. We asked him that till yesterday compressor was working and now its not working so it may be your fault. But he denied of taking any responsibility of electric parts. Now because of him and the product we are suffering He is saying compressor has to be changed and charges are nearly Rs 3000. Already spent 2600 and now 3000, Why shouldnt we purchase a new fridge of another company then? I dont want to spend a penny more on this fridge now.

                            I had purchased Electrolux refrigerator from Big Bazar, vashi – Navi Mumbai on 29/01/2012. When the product was delivered to home it had scratches all over. I immediately asked for a replacement and after a month i.e the dealer (Big Bazar) re placed the refrigerator. However the replaced product came with visible fault as the gasket the rubber covering on the door came out and the refrigerator was not closing properly. We immediately brought it to the notice of the dealer. However when the technician came for servicing he only refitted the rubber covering by manually pressing it. Looking at this we informed him that this could also be done by us and we used to do the same whenever it came out.
                            The product again developed some other faults as on deforesting the entire refrigerator was surrounded by water on the floor. Complaints were lodged with Big Bazar vashi. After repeated personally went to Big Bazar couple of times to register complaint. Then a technician was sent, he just refitted the gasket manually and left.
                            The problem of rubber covering, coming out and the door not closing properly still persist. The defrosting problem (water all over the floor) also remains.
                            The refrigerator was purchased in the month of feb’12 as immediately it started giving problems. It would be fair to say that we were supplied with faulty produce.
                            I herby, would like you to replace the product with a new no deflect piece immediately or else I would register a complain with the consumer forum.
                            Hope you would do the needful at your earliest.

                            this is to bring in concern that the gasket of my refrigerator is faulty.
                            we've been complaining for past 3 months no action has been taken yet.

                            Electrolux — non delivery of pick faulty peace of washing machine

                            Hi Sir,
                            we purchased a washing machine in the month of feb 2011 there was some issue with that peace so we complain on the helpline no and repeted request to the vendor vendor says its not his problem now asking us to call up on the helpline no we called helpline no after giving 3 to 4 complain and follow up for 15 days. they send a person to take that peace......

                            this happen in the month of march 2nd week till date we have not received the replaced peaced we are continuesly following with them time was given to us 7 days

                              I had bought a 26lts microwave convection 4mths back, and it's heating plate got cracked on it's own while heating the food . On complaining the service centre people are not ready to hear our complain and they are insisting on buying a new heating plate. Then I agreed and said I will only buy if you will first check the device, if it is getting over heated or not , coz if it is getting overheated then there is no point in buying a new plate . They are only saying that it is not there responsibility if the plate gets cracked again and again. It is very disappointing that one is receiving such response from such a reputed company of India. It's a shame. I regret on my choice of buying a electrolux product.

                                My Electrolux washing machine (bought from Great Eastern Techno City in Jan 2011) was making some unusual noises. So, I raised a complaint on 26th May 2012 (complaint no. EKOL-[protected]). Subsequently, a mechanic visited to examine it & declared some parts were to be replaced. He said the parts would arrive in 10-15 days and he would come back as soon as the parts are available. He never returned. When I called up he said parts were not available. Please note - the machine was in running condition then.

                                After a few more days, while the machine was running, suddenly it stopped with a big bang, loud noise & produced a lot of smoke. I again followed it up with the concerned mechanic. He said parts are still not available. Now, the machine is out of operation - completely dead since ealy July.

                                Since then, I have been following it up with the customer care, service centre, the mechanic & BSM (Branch Service Manager or so) Ambrish Sengupta (Mob[protected] but to no avail. Despite calling them a number times, all I get to hear is that the parts are not availble yet. The washing machine carries 2 years' warranty but what is the use of such prolonged warranty if the company can not fulfil it. I guess it is only a marketing gimmick. Would not recommend Electrolux to anyone. Thanks.

                                Electrolux Washing Machine — NOISE IN DRYER WHILE RUNNING

                                    I have purchased one electrolux ref from arora enterprises railway road najibabad on 17/4/2010, bill no..458 of Rs.8400.in month of may 2012 my ref stopped working.i registered a complaint at ur tollfree no.complain no...egzb[protected].ur service engineer visited n took the compressor with him...from the complain date 23/5/2012 to till date neither he came n nor he installed the compressor....i called him many times but he didn't answer my call...you r requested to take immediately action against service center n install my compressor...if any charge is there for compressor replacement then i m agree to pay that....

                                      I had purchased a electrolux microwave on 21st march this year. It worked alright for 2 months but after that it went out of order. Its been sitting idol for almost 2months now and the neither the customer care nor the dealers are responding to our complains. We have already called customer care three times,out of which only the first time they had responded but the person they send told us it was the switch boards problem. We had it checked and there was no electrical problems at all. The microwave is still out of order and the company is not taking any precautions to either change or repair the microwave. They even speak rudely when we call. Please help us out.

                                        We bought a microwave just 4 months ago on 21st march. It worked well for 2 months and then it went bad. The lights glow when the power is turned on,the dish also revolves but there is no heating effect...at all. The machine has been lying idol for almost 2months but even after contacting the customer care 3 times,they don't seem to care. The fjrst time a person was send from the company who told us it was a problem with the switch board. We had it cheched by an electrician but everything was fine. But the problem with the microwave still remains. Since then we have complained twice already but the company seems uninterested to do anything about it. They said they can only change parts and even though we agreed thee has still been no progress from them. The third time we complained,they havent done a thing. Please help us out on this issue,and personally i think that if a newly purchased microwave needs parts replacement then we can only imagine what might happen after the warranty period. Please help.
