Bill No 60R902791 dt 12082009. Technician visited after delivery, put wooden slot below front right hand leg and told us fris has tobe kept tilted back to work p roperly. In feb 2011, cooling problem arised. After much persuation, service centre engr visited on 16032011, collected service charges Rs.300/-, and told sensor costing Rs.2200/- has tobe changed, and that this frij is a defective piece- its bottum is damaged. I presented case to Lotus and asked for free replacement. Lotus Branch Mgr Shri Bhupesh Tragi took special interest and finally on 30th May service centra engr visited changed Defrost Heater + PCB assembly + Sensor +Door switch item and charged Rs 500/-. Now frij is working alright. But since defective piece was given (perhaps unkhowing by Lotus since service centra engr who visited in 2009 did not point out to us about the defect - bottum damaged), it should be replaced free of charge.though warranti period of 1 year is over.     Few months back one of the personnel of Sumaria Shop from Sanpada Navi Mumbai visited at my home and looked

    Electroux Kelvinator E5.5 Aurum 16 L Washing Machine and promised us for repaire or replacement of any other machine. After that he never shown his face till now.

    I have purched Electroux Kelvinator E5.5 Aurum 16 L Washing Machine from you on 25/10/2008 Invoice No: VA/OCT08/0083(Sales Consultant : Jija Chatte for Rs.11,250.00 at your Swctor 17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai Shop. Few months after this purchase of this washing machine you have closed down your Outlet-shop in Vashi and shifted somewhere that you had not intimated to me for sale after your service. This Washing machine donot worked satisfactory right from beginning.

    Initially after long keeping complains with you, your washing machine personnel kept me promising that the after availing exact spare parts at electroluxinsta service center machine will get me repaired at companies cost.

    At present said machine has not yet repaired.

    Please do needful to save your GOODWILL

          Dear Sir,

          I had purchased my front loading washing machine in the year 2003. After one year , it started facing drainage problems. Till now it is not working properly gaining more and more problems .I contacted the Videocon service centre(authorised service centre) in allahabad, but they said we can not repair any type of complaints in Electrolux front loading W/M.
          It is my humble request to do the fair otherwise exchange this machine with other one.

          Electrolux Washing Machine — No response

          Its over 70 days I logged in complaint with Dehradun Service Centre named Dua Refrigeration but still my machine is not working, Even I called the Area Executive Mr Mehta but in vain, What to do I don, t Know but one thing is confirmed that i have made the biggest mistake by dealing in Electrolux product.

          We have LG refrigerator, and we are very much satiesfied with there services.But with electrolux officials there is very much problem that many times they Response as wrong no when we call them

            hello,

            I had bought Electrolux refrigerator 2 yrs back. Now, since a month, the defrost is not working. I have registered a complaint 3 weeks back, but still no action has been taken. I am sorry to say that the response of the customer care has been awful and the worst I have seen, which is quite unprofessional. My phone num is +91 [protected] which I have used for the complaint.
            I am forced to go to the consumer forum very shortly due to the cheating in terms of customer care.

            SHORT LIFE OF PRODUCT, POOR SERVICE, DONT BUY
            My ELECTROLUX Refrigerator Model ERP285FF showed a complaint No Cooling on 6th April 2011. I registered a complaint with the Authorized Service Center M/s TEKWINS ELECTRONICS, Chittur Road, Palakkad, The timer was not working and no gas was there in the line. They tested and brazed the pipe near compressor and recharged the gas. They charged Rs 2450/-. But after running about 8 hours it is found that there is no sufficient cooling in the freezer. After inspection the technician told that there may be leakage in the condenser portion which is concealed and they cannot do anything. Then I registered a complaint with customer care on 14th April 2011 with complaint number PCOC[protected] and till date nobody called or visited the site. When ever I call the customer care they give some promises that today they will call, tomorrow they will call like that. After repeated enquiry I got a Service Engineer in Kochi and I got a reply that if the leakage is from concealed condenser line, it is not reparable. It may be noted that the refrigerator is only 5 years old. When enquired I knew that this type of complaint is common in Electrolux Refrigerators as they use inferior quality tubes for manufacturing condenser. Also the timer damages frequently resulting heavy loss to customer.

            SO DON’T BUY ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATORS – SHORT LIFE and POOR SERVICE

                Electrolux Refrigerator — BAD PRODUCT - SHORT LIFE

                THE LEAKAGE OF GAS FROM CONCEALED CONDENSER TUBE OF ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATOR IS COMMON. ACCORDING TO THE COMPANY OFFICIALS IT IS NOT REPARABLE. ONLY OPTION IS TO PUT EXTERNAL CONDENSER. THE LIFE OF REFRIGERATOR IS VERY SHORT. DONT BUY REFRIGERATOR FROM ELECTROLUX.
                It is true that they use inferior quality tube to make condenser. As it is packed and concealed nothing can be done. It is general complaint in Electrolux Refrigerator. The company will not respond for the complaints. Buyers should think several times before buying electrolux products. Only loss of money is the result. Company is liable to replace as it is a manufacturing defect
                Never purchase electrolux product. Their service is very very bad.I am having an AC purchased in 2008.I could not use that AC during summers.In every summer they will come and take both indoor and out door unit to the service center and will bring back in the raining season.In this year they took the unit for repairing on Oct 2011, still it is with them.I don"t know where is the unit.The service center in Plalakkad is no more now. IT IS CLOSED

                  Dear Sirs,

                  Our above mentioned complaint has still not been resolved till date. The engineer from Star Services had come on the 28th. Of April with the heating coil.
                  But when he tried replacing it, he realised that the heating tube coil was not the correct size.
                  I fail to understand as to how they can make such a stupid mistake when they have been informed of the refrigerator model and their engineer has also inspected the same in detail!!
                  The only inference that I can make is that they have not sourced the part from the parent electrolux company's service centre, but instead sourced it privately!
                  We have not been able to use our refrigerator from 19/04/2011 till date. There is no feedback from anybody!
                  Could somebody please tell us as to when our fridge will be repaired and what is the cause for the delay??

                  01. REFRIGERATOR NOT COOLING - BOTH, THE TOP FREEZER AND THE BOTTOM FRIDGE COMPARTMENT. THE
                  "HIGH TEMP FREEZER" IS LIT UP CONTINUOUSLY.

                  02. WE HEAR A THUD SOUND WHILE CLOSING THE LOWER FRIDGE DOOR AS IT IS HITTING THE BOTTOM FRONT
                  LEFT SIDE STAND. THIS IS BECAUSE THE RIGHT SIDE DOOR (HINGE SIDE) HAS GONE OFF LEVEL.

                  Dear Sirs,

                  I had originally lodged my complaint through toll free no. On 19/04/2011, complaint no: PPUN[protected].

                  Against this a service engineer from Star Services came the next day on 20/04/2011 evening and informed me that some heating tube needs to be replaced and will have to be sourced from Electrolux, which will take 4-5 days and as soon as it comes it will be repaired. But he could not correct the door level problem.

                  As there was no feedback, I called your customer toll free number again on 23/04/2011 and was shocked to learn that on your records my problem was resolved!! I upraised the customer service executive who serviced my call and told him that nothing had been done and I again lodged a second complaint for the same problem.

                  The 2nd. Complaint number is: PPUN[protected]. I was told that the part will be available by Wednesday, 27/04/2011.

                  Till date (6.30 PM) no one has come from star services nor is there any feedback from them. Even though I called up yesterday but the owners were not available. I sent them an sms message to their mobiles, but they have not bothered to return my call and sms!

                  I would like to know when exactly will the part be available and my refrigerator's cooling problem be resolved? As also my door alignment problem?

                    I have purchased a Electrolux refrigerator in 2005 and was working fine till last month. For the last one month the lower compartment stopped cooling. Called the service center on 6th April, 2011 and they arranged to send a service engineer. From that time my ordeal started. The person came 4 times and I spend Rs. 1200 so far, the problem is not fixed. In the last 1 month I called service desk 5 times, called service engineer more than 20 times, send 4 mails, but I do not get a response and service. Now they stopped responding to my calls. Can anyone help to show this company what is the meaning of customer care?

                    My refrigerator dose not work from 26.06.09. I have booked a complaint at PLUG IN on 27.06.09. I followed my request several times by phone even in peresence but they have not sent company person so far (30.06.09) for checking and repairing. I have informed them that the compressor is working but there is no cooling and I have some medicine that should be kept them in the refrigerator. They are careless. I am your costumer, this is not the way of costumer service, how can I introduce your brand to others. I am waiting your action and reply as soon as possible.

                      My refrigerator is not cooling, I purchase a electrolux refrigerator modei no
                      ER 240, SR NO 51801300 wide Invoice No.166 on 31/05/05. through a dealer M/s Shah Brothers Jabalpur.There is 5 years warranty on compressor. I request you to please inform to your service station for repair the same.
                      There is recurring problem of cooling in the refrigiration. I try to contact localvendor but no response. I have purchased the refrigerator in 2005. Since purchase there was problem for cooling. Repair has been done in 2006 and again in 2007, 2008 & 2009.
                      What is this customer care. Elctrolux may be aggressively marketing their product but their service to customer is very poor.
                      Still I am suffering from faulty fridge.
                      Normally the concealed condenser tubes get leakage internally which cannot be repaired and difficult to locate. According to the Electrolux company officials' statement it is not reparable and only option is to fit an external condenser unit altering the whole system. It is not effective also. The company is marketing a product with part which are not repairable by even the manufacturer. Dont recommend anybody for buying electrolux products.

                        I bought two Electrolux air conditioers few years back. Six months back in November, one of the 1.5 ton AC remote stops working. I complaint through Electrolux call centre. They registered the complaint and promised to sent technician. After two to three weeks the technician came and took a picture of the AC remote. Thereafter I have been chasing the service centre to get rpelacement remote. They are so irresponsible, they keep promoising the replacement. But so far I havn't got the remote. What should i do?

                          I have purchased Electrolux Refrigerator on dated - 13May 2010, Invoice No - 101
                          S R India, Bhiwadi ( Raj ). From day starting there was a problem with that defective
                          piece supplied to me the problem is that it was not working after complaint Dealer

                              A complaint was lodged about the non cooling of refrigerator 400 litre capacity.The technician from INSTA CARE AND SERVICES Sahid Nagar Bhubaneswar,came on 18th March and after inspection issued a cash receipt no ICASE 3627 dt 18.03.11 assuring to bring the necessary spare part which according to them is censor to be replaced.
                              It is going to be almost one month but we are being told by the service cente,Branch Coordinator and Area Manager that the spare parts are coming but not giving any satisfactory reply why it is not coming .Now a days they are not responding to the mobile phone calls.

                              I have decided to place the freeze on a busy location like outside of Bhubaneswar Railway Station on a trolley and put a big banner in red ink writing 'SPARE PARTS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS FREEZE'

                              My ELECTROLUX Refrigerator Model ERP285FF showed a complaint No Cooling on 6th April 2011. I registered a complaint with the Authorized Service Center M/s TEKWINS ELECTRONICS, Chittur Road, Palakkad, The timer was not working and no gas was there in the line. They tested and brazed the pipe near compressor and recharged the gas. They charged Rs 2450/-. But after running about 8 hours it is found that there is no sufficient cooling in the freezer. After inspection the technician told that there may be leakage in the condenser portion which is concealed and they cannot do anything. Then I registered a complaint with customer care on 14th April 2011 with complaint number PCOC[protected] and till date nobody called or visited the site. When ever I call the customer care they give some promises that today they will call, tomorrow they will call like that. After repeated enquiry I got a Service Engineer in Kochi and I got a reply that if the leakage is from concealed condenser line, it is not reparable. It may be noted that the refrigerator is only 5 years old. When enquired I knew that this type of complaint is common in Electrolux Refrigerators as they use inferior quality tubes for manufacturing condenser. Also the timer damages frequently resulting heavy loss to customer.

                              SO DON’T BUY ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATORS – SHORT LIFE and POOR SERVICE

                                Pl refer to my meeting had with you today at your Laxmi Nagar office regarding my problem. Since you had asked me to submit the history of my Fridge issue, I here by enclosing some of important mails which were send to customer care/senior authorities in 2009 when it was being operated by Videocon. There was some more e.mail which is my previous company compurter and I have not kept any record with me.

                                Hope you will be able to analyzed from these mails that how much torture and problems we have under gone thru with your Electrolux Fridge from the date of purchase . My mails are self explanatory and hope that you will be able to understand the reason of our disappointment.

                                Today for us the only solution is to sell this fridge as scrap or retain it by paying regular maintenance cost.

                                I am sending my mail with humble request to please help me as your valuable customer and do the justice with us.

                                History of our Fridge:

                                1. We purchased this Double door fridge on dt. 11/6/05 from Laxmi Nagar. Just after completion of 2 years, this fridge started giving problem. The problem was low cooling. We had contacted to dealer who rectified our problem after checking the compressor and did some rectification because this was under warranty. I do not have any record of this as it is 5 years old case.

                                2. We faced the problem in 23rd June-2008 that the clock stopped working. Your people attended the complain and changed some part for which they charged from us. We paid them cash of Rs. 475/- vide receipt no. 8799. The service was given by M/s. Dyna Enterprises authorised service partner. I have copy of this receipt.

                                3. On dt. 10/3/09 Fridge stopped giving cooling. We lodge our complaint to customer care, the person came and replaced the compressor no. 552436-APLICOP and taken the cold compressor 5536652-Zel. They did not charged for compressor but charged for some parts and charged Rs. 875/- against receipt no. 9725 dt. 12.3. 09 and done by same company. I have copy of receipt.

                                4. Subsequently, we faced problem in Feb. 2010 once again. We once again send our complain to HO and they sent the person to look our complain. They came and replaced thermostat and charged from us. Since I was in abroad those days, my wife had made the payment. Somehow she could not find the receipt.

                                Once again the fridge started giving problem and this time when your person visited us 3 days ago, he told that timer is not working but today when he came to replace timer, he told that our compressor is not working.

                                I believe that there trust which work in service industries. Whenever, there is problem your people come and ask only for replacement of some parts that too on chargeable basis. Do you think that it is our fault that every time we have to pay for defects and you do not want to compromise on cost.

                                If you do not solve my problem, I have decided that I will do auction of this fridge under big banner mentioned never deal with such company who do not bother for their customers. or I have to get this repaired at my risk but than I will see to it that I send my complain documents to all the leading appliance company who are your competitors as case study, this thing will damage the reputation of your organisation an image of your product in market which is more than the cost to be born for repairing my fridge.

                                I wish that you will do your needful and do justice with me. Since summer is on, pl do not delay. Kindly see that the repair work is done on top priority.

                                Electrolux Refrigerator — VERY POOR PERFORMANCE OF REF

                                dear electrolux,

                                i bought an electrolux side by side, stainless refrigerator three years ago. unfortunately i am very disappointed because of the following:

                                1. the water source was not properly installed, therefore the water dispenser did not function at all. - your service very disappointing.

                                2. a year ago the ref just did not function, according to the service man, an automatic voltage regulator should have been used -- but your instruction did not include that information or requirement and the installer did not mention - again very disappointing.

                                3. NOW your refrigerator just stopped functioning. please check it at once, because i know that the motor should be covered by 5 year warranty.

                                PLEASE SEND YOUR SERVICE MAN, OTHERWISE I WILL PUBLISH MY DISAPPOINTMENT.

                                Electrolux Refrigerator — door handle is broken. please replace the door handle.

                                I purchased double door refrigerator in December 2009 from Sarna Eloctronics, Sri Ganga Nagar (Rajasthan). At present I am posted at Surat. The door handel of the regrigerator is cracked and broken. We want to get it changed. So please lodge my complaint and advise your service centre at Surat to give the service.                                   Refrigerator is not cutting off. The refrigerator has to be put on/off every few hours. Complaint given to M/s Casa Madhav, Panaji more than two months ago.

                                  Service technician visited our place and reported that the thermostat needs to be replaced and the same would be done within a maximum time of one week in case the part was not readily available. It is two months and there is sign of the thrmostat, in spite of repeated follow up with Casa Madhav.

                                  If it takes months for a thermostat to be replaced, in case of a compressor failure how many years would it take?

                                  The below narrated is pathetic story about your company’s product. This is for your kind information and needful action.

                                  I have an Electrolux Refrigerator model and chasis no.”235L Luxury” date of purchase on 20.12.03 from 24.8.06 the same is giving frequent troubles in every 6 months and the same used to get repaired through the service centre of said company. From the past 1 month the same is under non-operational subsequently made two complaints through the said company’s call center but no action taken, thereafter I have directly contacted the service provider of said company M/s. Star Service, A4/V Vikrampuri, Karkhna, Secunderabad and subsequently one of its representatives had visited my home on 15.7.08 and replaced couple of spare parts and collected Rs.1500/-, immediately next day onwards the same is not working and several calls made to the said authorized service agent but just beating around the bush and neither attending the complaint nor refunding the money. It is still a dream of purchasing the refrigerators in this country for some of the families and such company’s marketing inferior products must be ousted and action to be taken on Star Service for cheating the clients under the pretext of authorized service agent.

                                  I think you all better -bundle out from India along with this company.

                                  Again service engineer of said company visited on 31.7.08 and again replaced two components of the same component and now completely stopped working the refregerator the same has conveyed to Star Service and I am at lost where to contact. Even faxing a letter to the company's ( Electrolux) company's M.D., Mumbai there is no response.

                                  I have purchased one refregartor on 4.11.2007. But nor there is cooling problem. Five years warrenty was also given for the compressure. One trechnician said that the compressure in refregerator is substandard quality is fixed . Even though in the warrenty period your technical people are asking Rs.1500/- repair charges. I shall be obliged i you would kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                                  Electrolux — complaint for compressor before 2 years and now condenser

                                  I bought my 245FF ozone electrolux fridge from SYSTEMS AND DEVICE Ravipuram MG Road cochin on 9 th june 2007 and then onwards there was a sound coming which I THOUGHT was normal only later found out it is coz of the problem in the compresser the sound was coming and last december 2009 the company service people came and changed the compresser and filled gas and charged me with a bill amount of rs 1620 /- and there after again in feb the cooling again started decreasing and then they found condensor fault and again a charge for repair of RS 2700 which I AM not ready to spend as it is coz of the default I had to pay an excess eletricity bill also..Now I insist the company do something about it . PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL .

                                  Electrolux Refrigerator — cooling problem

                                  We purhcased a Electrolux refrigerator and after 2 years there was some problem in cooling efficiency after reporting to the outsourced authrorised service centre Take Care (I) Pvt Ltd ( NK Electrical & Refrigeration near Rattan Talkies Chowk Main Road, Ranchi ), they took the unit and charged 800 Rs plus freight and gave 3 months warrany, within 6 weeks the same problem re occured and they took the unit back for a week and charged us freight without giving any service unit, after 4 week the same problem re occured and the service centre was again asking for 800 Rs and frieght to which we reminded them about the charged paid earlier and the warranty, I even took the matter to a Electrolux representative in Ranchi Md Sajid, he said he would look into the matter and get back in couple of hours, I ve been trying to call him since two days but he is not picking up my call and he just asked the service centre to charge a service charge of 250 and freight, this is not expected from a company like Electrolux, I would really appreciate if you take some stern action

                                  It is due to the leakage in condenser. If it is a concealed one nothing can be done.

                                  SHORT LIFE OF PRODUCT, POOR SERVICE, DONT BUY
                                  My ELECTROLUX Refrigerator Model ERP285FF showed a complaint No Cooling on 6th April 2011. I registered a complaint with the Authorized Service Center M/s TEKWINS ELECTRONICS, Chittur Road, Palakkad, The timer was not working and no gas was there in the line. They tested and brazed the pipe near compressor and recharged the gas. They charged Rs 2450/-. But after running about 8 hours it is found that there is no sufficient cooling in the freezer. After inspection the technician told that there may be leakage in the condenser portion which is concealed and they cannot do anything. Then I registered a complaint with customer care on 14th April 2011 with complaint number PCOC[protected] and till date nobody called or visited the site. When ever I call the customer care they give some promises that today they will call, tomorrow they will call like that. After repeated enquiry I got a Service Engineer in Kochi and I got a reply that if the leakage is from concealed condenser line, it is not reparable. It may be noted that the refrigerator is only 5 years old. When enquired I knew that this type of complaint is common in Electrolux Refrigerators as they use inferior quality tubes for manufacturing condenser. Also the timer damages frequently resulting heavy loss to customer.

                                  I will advice to friends not to even see at electrolux refrigerators.
                                  My complaint no. Is ELUD[protected] on 7june2012.Your engineer visited us but could not solve the problem.He told me that the lower fan is not working.But he never checked the fan nor he told me any alternative.Is your stocks not available.Please get my refrigerator repair as soon as possible.What is the use of visiting the engineer if the problem persists?

                                    i have made a complaint in the morning that my ac compressor has blasted and also told u that the compressor was changer in 2010 and have also paid Rs 2000/- approx and now again in 2011 the compressor has at last blasted(it s n warranty) and u r asking of Rs 2500/- again ,i am not going to pay any charges now as i m fed with the quality and the product u sell,and if something is not done till tomorrow morning i going to the court and even escalate it to the media about the compressor blast and if something would have gone wrong whom should i held responsible..it is 2nd time when this problem has occured i want complete replacement of the product now.....

                                      i have purchased an electrolux ac on[protected] and the warranty stands for 6 years but sorry to say in 2010 there was some problem in the compressor so they came and changed the compressor and charged me a fee of 2000/- approx but in this year when i stated my ac there was a blast in ac when got it checked the compressor got burst and blasted...now if something would have gone wrong who was responsible....i want to take strict action against the company or else i have to go the court....s.no [protected](EAW18CRPI)THIS IS WHAT I COULD MAKE OUT OF THE BILL.....

                                        SINCE I PURCHASED AN ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATOR MODEL ERP 285 FF , SR.NO. 63801504 SOME TIME IN 2007 IT IS GIVING TROUBLE REGULARLY, I.E. DEFECTIVE TIMER ( 2 TIMES), LEAKAGE OF WATER (FOUR TIMES) AND AT PRESENT DEFECT COULD NOT FIND OUT BY SERVICE TECHNICIAN AND TAKEN TO THEIR SERVICE CENTRE(MONDAL APPLIANCES, 87/10 AKSHOY KUMAR MUKHERJEE ROAD, KOLKATA 700090) AND THE PREVIOUS ONE WAS SOME PAUL ELECTRONICS FROM SAME AREA AS MONDAL APPLIANCES. BOTH ARE ELECTROLUX COMPANYS AUTHORIED SERVICE CENTRES. AFTER ALL THE PREVIOUS SERVICES THE TROUBLES RETURNED IN NO TIME AND THE PRESENT CASE THE MONDAL APPLIANCES TOOK THE REFRIGERATOR ON 25/3/2011 SAYING IN 3 DAYS THEY WOULD RETURN THE REFRIGERATOR AFTER REPAIRING IT . ALREADY SIX DAYS PASSED AND STILL THEY ARE NOT SURE OF THE FAULT AND SAID NEED SOME MORE DAYS TO FIND THE FAULT AND REPAIR IT. BUT LAST TWO DAYS SAID REPAIR COMPLETED AND WOULD SENT TO MY HOME ANY TIME. ALL THESE THINGS PROVED THAT FIRSTLY ELECTROLUX COMPANY USED INFERIOR TECHNOLOGY
                                        AND THEIR AFTER SALE SERVICE IS VERY VERY POOR TOO. EARLIER I COMPLAINED BUT NO RESPONSE FROM THEIR END.
