My personal experience.

DO NOT BUY ELECTROLUX. I am planning to buy a new branded AC next sason now.

WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE___
1. My Electrolux WAC is faulty since 14.06.12.
2. Service engineer took PCB of front display panel for repairing on 18/06/12.
3. My service docket was closed next day even AC was not rectified.
4. Service engineer came with repaired PCB on 25-06-12 but it was not operational. PCB was not repaired and was sent without CHECKING .
5. He again took the PCB on 25-06-12.
6. I am not able to contact any Electrolux official and no body from Elextrolux or Service centre even called me about this. What a Service?
7. My AC is 6 year old and each year it is failed for about 10-12 days. PCB had become faulty 3rd time i think.
8. I repeatedly called on CALL CENTRE [protected], LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE since enonmous times.
9. Service centre incharge never picked his mobile number .
10. I got the the number of service incharge o[censored]P area. I am in touch with him for past 7 days on his mob, but my problem is not resolved. I also insisted to pay for a new PCB.
11. Each time local service center told to resolve by next 1-2 day.
12. Too many requests /reminders (almost alternate day) had been sent to ELECTROLUX customare service email electrolux.[protected]@pemail.in which was mentioned at Electrolux website.
13. My PCB has not been placed and I am still waiting for any response. I also requested to put other PCB till mine is repaired.
14. TODAY IT IS more than 21 days OF FAULT AND I am WITHOUT AC IN PEAK SUMMER TIME...
15. NO BODY FROM ELECTROX EVEN TALKED TO ME DESPITE SEVERAL REMINDERS?COMPLAINTS IN PAST 21 DAYs. IT HURTS......

    Electrolux / Washing Machine — No service after sale

    I am very much unsatisfied buy the Electrolux. They care not listing to their customers. i had submitted my complaints from last 6 months but no one is going to attend the complaint. Since the day first hte washy Talky model of washing machine is creating problem during its working. & most of the time the machine is not working . so i would like to change my machine.

Since the day first washing machine is creating problem during its working. Every time when a wash the clothes i am facing same problem (water leackage). Tell me what do i?     Electrolux Washing Machina — very very Poor Service

    Dear Sir.MAdam,
    I am following up with Electrolux company call center for the washing machine which i had . No one from there end is interested in attending the complaint.. evertime i call i am assured that the engineer willl visit my home .. I am following up with them snce 4th Aug08. I have call them many times and have wasted lot of money on call but they are not bother.. My complaint reference number for the same is 5s[protected].

    Pls help.

    Electrolux / Washing Machine — service is very very poor

    I put a complin no kol[protected] dt.14/3/2009 in the name of MANOJ KUMAR AGARWAL for washing machine(electrolux fabriguard)for the fault of watersupply nobs,wash selecter nob is broken and washing wheel is creatin some sound by loosing its scroo.Technicion visited on 16/3/09 but he took no action on that date by saying that the part is not available at present.He charged Rs.250 for visiting for saying service charge and told me to solve this problem in two to three days,after that no action is taken till now dt11/9/09.
    I call S.L.Enterprise(howrah) sevral time but there is no responce.

    Electrolux — very poor service

    my freeze is down for last 15 days. its not cooling. i have lodged a complaint on 30/06/2012. my complaint no. is EPUN[protected]. they told me that there service engineer will attend it. he attended it but could not solved the problem. another day another man came and declared that compressor is not working. we told him to change it. it took another 3 days. after changing the compressor and spending Rs.4000/- machine is still not working. its now over 1 week. still they are telling me that we are not getting compressor, will come tomorrow and all such things. worst part of it is they dont call me and give updates. i have to call them every day. some time they reject, some time they dont answer and like that. its just harassment nothing alse.
    i wish to take the matter to consumer forum. please guide.
    Please go through the brochure/bills/receipts for any terms and conditions.You can send them a legal notice stating your grievance and for the refund. You have a very prima facie case against the Company. They will certainly start responding to you immediately. I am a lawyer. Please do not hesitate to call me.

      Dear Sir,
      I purchased an Electrolux Refrigerator245ERP 235Ltr.on 02/07/2007 from Great Eastern Appliances Pvt.Ltd.,20, Old Court House Street, Kolkata-700001 ( TAX Cash Memo No. DH/CM/04750/07-08, Dt.02/07/2007). On last 21 June, 2012, it stopped working. I informed the problem to the listed Service Centre , Contact No.[protected] Mondal) North on the same day at about 10-30 a.m. Their Technical representative visited my house on 22 June, 2012. His observation was that the Compressor got out of order and he collected a copy of my Money Bill / Receipt assuring me of reverting on the matter the next day. As I did not get any response since he left my house, I contacted the Service Centre on 25th June,2012 and today . I was told today that they would let me know after another week. I could not understand what they were waiting for.

        I am facing cooling issue with my refrigerator from past 7 days. After many followups the problem still remains. A technician attended complaint and he replaced the fan. But there was still no cooling. I called him to ask the reason. The answer I got was that that was not the right fan and he need to replace it with another one which is not available for this particular model. Today is the 4th day and no one turned up nor he is picking up the phone.
        Each day something or the other rots in my fridge. If you can't fix it then please replace it. I need resolution of my complaint today itself.

        I had booked a complaint for Refrigerator not cooling on the 18th of May. Some one visited us on the 19th but he was not competent. It was apparent that less gas is the problem but this guy just adjusted the fan and went away. He came next day i.e. 20th and said that looks like gas is the problem. He said some senior person will come on 21st to fill the gas. I did get a call from some one on the 20th that he will come on 21st but nobody turned up. We were without a fridge in this heat for more than 4 days! So we got a local guy to come in and fill the gas and the fridge is working fine now. Today I called up Electrolux service and they said that today 23rd they have allocated my complaint to an engineer for gas filling!!
        I have had similar experinec earlier too. There products are good but service is bad.

        I have purchased a double door Electrolux fridge in the year 2004 from Patna (Bihar). Now the fridge is not working properly from last few months, I had made a complaint in customer care of Electrolux on 3rd - may - 2011.
        My complain no. is - PRAN [protected], from last 1 month when I ask about my complain they are saying that - your problem will be solved very shortly.

        Sir plese ask him when they will solve my problem.

        It's been one month now since I gave my microwave in Electrolux (dew point ) in thrissur. Everytime I call them they say shipment of part is delayed from where they ordered. My complaint number was ECOC [protected] to which I gt a sms text saying it has been closed. I registered my first complaint on 19th September.

          This is to inform you that I have purchased Electrolux AC on 7/8/2008 Model: EA 24SCRDA1 PNC.No.[protected] it stopped working on 29/4/2012. I have registered complaint Electrolux Complaint Center. I have got the number of Service center name as ADREAM located at B23 katju nagar Kolkata -700032 . As per initial diagnosis it has been found by them that there is problem in a compressor (under guarantee period) and need to be changed. As guided we have handed over the compressor and after a rigorous follow up for almost 12 days they have sent the compressor and charged Rs. 2500 altogether.
          But during the installation it has been found by them that the same is still not working. When i have called Mr. Subrato Das( head of the service centre) he confirmed that it is not his look out and he is not concerned if the same is working or not .. he was very rude while talking ...I have been suffering & harassed by your services ad after paying a amount also there is no resolution has been provided. I must convey that the service is very pathetic and people who are associated with it, is uncultured and arrogant and doesn't want to extend the required service. .

            We have purchased Electrolux 6.5 kg washing machine. it has been six months now. we have not received a single demo till now. I have been calling the concerned person continuously for 15 days now. everyday he promises to come the following day. i am totally fed up now. is this the way to trouble the customer? please take an urgent and serious action against this.

            Expecting a good customer service as quickly as possible.

              my electrolux airconditioner CAUGHT FIRE . Had i not been awake when this happened i would be dead. I have recieved the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my long life. They have done absolutely NOTHING, They dont care about you and should your appliance catch fire they will do absolutely nothing and treat you in my opininion in the most appauling manner This 300 billion dollar company would rather deny you anything than show any goodwill or faith in their product THAT CAUGHT FIRE and all their products should come with a warning should this catch fire we will do absolutely nothing but be rude to you ignore your email and calls to CEO here and world wide and send rude letters refusing to do anything I WILL NEVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AND UNLESS YOU THINK THIS IS ACCEPTABLE AND THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED YOU SHOULDNT EITHER

                Dear Sir,
                I have purchased an Electrolux Refrigerator 3+ years back because of the companies’ longstanding reputation of providing solid products and also customer service satisfaction to resolve ANY issues that may arise with their products. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that Electrolux no longer lives up to its' reputation
                Last Month (March-2012) it was not cooling down, So I have called service centre. They have acted promptly in 2 Days and came to house. While checking the refrigerator they said it seems to be Regulator is not working and it required regulator needs to be changed and it will cost Rs 800.
                I have repeatedly asked them is there any other Issues, because if the repair cost is very high hen i will go for New Product purchase rather than repairing. They said there will not be any other Issues just need to change Regulator.
                So they have changed the regulator and charged me Rs 800, when it was still not cooling down even after Regulator Change they have asked me to wait for 3 Days & call the Number mentioned in the receipt if there are any Issues.
                After 3 days it was not working and I called the service centre number and complained. They said they will be sending service guy and he will call me to my Mobile Number. I did not receive any call next one week. Again I complained they have asked me the date of last service in the receipt and they again assured they will be sending person to check.. Like this we have crossed 40 Days and They never send any person to check.
                Finally again i called call centre & Told the all problem facing from last 45 days, They have sent a person next day and while he was checking he says there is NO GAS so need to fill the gas and it will cost Rs 1800, and there may be chances of leakage also & repairing leakage will cost Rs 1800 more.
                I was asking him why it was not told me while changing the regulator, why should we spend 800+1800+1800= Rs 4400, instead we could have gone for NEW one. He said he will be informing this to his seniors and they will be calling me back same day before 6pm. Now it is almost 2 days over no one called me. Again Disappointed.
                Now i don’t NO what to do, Whom to complain on this, Now it very HOT summer in Chennai and i am not able to use the refrigerator from past 45 days. Why cant your guys cant chane all the problem in the refrigerator oin one time, After all it is not a Rocket Science, How come all the parts in the refrigerator will go OFF in just 3+ years in Electrolux. If the life of the Product is 3+ Years why you guys changed only Regulator and charged me Rs 800 without any Use?
                Please call me and guide me on this urgently.

                  I bought Electrolux refrigerator EDP 195 / 2012 recently. The appliance never worked. When approached to the service center the complaint was not registered unless it went through the dealer. The service center cribbed with unavailability of service personnel and only after several calls promised a day and time for visit. The service personnel was unavailable on the phone number provided. The call center support guy suggested change of number for the personnel and also suggested a holiday on the promised day of inspection visit.

                  I would recommend to ward-off any appealing deals for Electrolux refrigerators, since their after sales service is a real pain.

                      i had complained to the electrolux service centre at their toll free for sending a mechanic to attend to my air con problem on 20th april.i was assured that a service engineer will visit me within 48 hours. thereafter till 26th april, 2012 no one bothered to visit me. from 26th april, 2012 i have called their howrah branch (tekcare service pvt ltd and s j enterprises on numerous occassion and they have done nothing except assuring me that the service engineer will reach my place within few hours. is this the level of service that we expect from electrolux. no wonder then people prefer reputed brands like Samsung and LG who are known for very efficient and reliable after sales support. rakesh bajoria

                          I have an Electrolux Refrigerator, for which I called up their Service Centre & registered a complaint for corrosion of both the doors and some parts of the body on 31st March 2012.
                          On April 1st at about 10.29am, I recieved a sms from TD-Peserv, on my registered mobile number, stating that my call has been registered with them & the call number given was ETNA[protected]. The same evening I recieved another sms at about 20.51hrs stating that Santosh Bare whose mobile no, is [protected], the company designated engineer will attend my complaint.

                          No one turns up till the 6th of April 2012, when out of the blue I recieve another sms at about 12.57hrs, on April 6 stating that my call has been cancelled.

                          Surprisingly I recieve anothe sms at about 13.03hrs on April 6, 2012 stating that my call has been registered with them and a NEW call number was given ETNA[protected]; followed by another sms at about 15.22hrs stating that Engineer Ajay Kumar with cell no. [protected] will be attending my complaint of March 31, 2012.

                          On April 7'2012, at about 16.17hrs I recieve another sms stating that my call has been registered and again a NEW call Number ETNA[protected], followed by another sms at about 16.34hrs stating that Engineer Rehan Ansari with cell no. [protected] will be attending my complaint of March 31, 2012.

                          Sir till date, that is 15th April 2012 no one has attended my complaint. This is a clear case of deficiency of service & is causing unwanted stress.
                          This refrigerator is in the name of my mother Mrs Kulwant Sahni

                            I purchased a new fridge of electrolux deo fresh 240 LTR , MODEL NO-EDL254/2011 from Ansal Plaza Palam Vihar. I have gifted this fridge to my relative in hissar . i send this fridge gurgaon to hissar given Rs 4000 to transportation charges is Rs 4000/- and after two days my relative called me fridge is not working properly . then again transportation charges is Rs 4000/- is bear by me . after i called the electrolux service center that fridge is not working properly . He said me due to gas problem he fill up the gas . after checking the fridge they said compressor should be change . service centre services are very pathetic they do not how to speak to customer . they are saying compaint to anybody he dont bother . sir i purchase a new fridge not a old fridge. such type of harrasment is going on can you take a strong action against your service center . kindly replace my fridge . and do the needful. and kindly revert on my mail id- [protected]@gmail.com.

                                I purchased a electrolux refrigerator from T V Radios, Udaipur on 02/07/07. After a couple of months its timer went out of order. It was changed after repeated requests. Again, the timer went out of order. The local representative do not pay much attention to the complaints.

                                I lodged a complaint to the customer care in march 2012, with complaint no EJAI [protected]. Subsequently,it was repared. The timer and the biometer were changed and I was made to pay in cash a sum of Rs 1200/-
                                As per the shope keeper it is still under Warranty period. Morever, the bill and the cash receipt has not been given to me.

                                I hope the company would look into the matter.

                                Electrolux Refrigerator — poor after sales service

                                Respected Sir / Madam,

                                I am Ruchika Singh writing this complaint after two weeks of harrasment by the Elctrolux Cusotmer service team. I had purchsed electrolux refrigerator in 2007 (Model Number ER 180 PR ER 180l) from Vijay Sales, Borivali (West), Mumbai outlet.

                                The refigerator stopped working and I had lodged a complaint to the Electrolux cusotmer service center and my COMPLAINT NUMBER - CSER8B25032. A technician had come to check the fault after seven days. I was informed by the technician that the Compressor of the fridge was not working and had to be replaced, so, he repaired the compressor so that it works temporarily. He had given me a time frame of two days and that the part would be replaced within that period.

                                Now when the technician did not come after seven days,and my fridge stopped working again, I called the electrolux customer service center (where the don't give proper response) in Mumbai and requested for an explanation. They said they had spare parts problems and the part will be replaced in two working days.

                                My refrigerator is within the warranty period.

                                I am requesting the kind and timely intervention from the consumer complaint forum and please help me in using my Refrigerator again which has been kept shut for the last few days. Please help me on this issue as these companies do not want to serve there cusotmers after the product is sold.

                                Electrolux Refrigerator — Refrigerator do not work in summer

                                Despite several complaints and even several time (8 to 10 times)after change of compressor by the authorised service centre, refrigrator is not working properly.

                                I had paid fare as well as other parts change charges, still it is not working.

                                Electrolux — POOR AFTER SALES SERVICE

                                I BOUGHT A FULLY AUTOMATIC WASHING M/C (MODEL: ACTIVE CARE), ELECTROLUX MAKE. BASE COVER SUPPLIED WITH THE M/C DID NOT FIT INTO IT. FOR PAST THREE MONTHS I AM CONTACTING THE DEALER, SERVICE CENTRE, & VARIOUS OFFICIALS UPTO CEO LEVEL, BUT NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PART. MY E-MAIL & FAX SENT TO CO.HAVE NOT BEEN REPLIED.

                                  I had cooling problem with my Electrolux referidgerator model no.SR315L. I called up their customer care service provider SEMTECH SERVICES, 196, Okhla Indl. Area, Delhi. Mobile Nos. [protected] and [protected]. Their service engineer Mr Manish visited my home and changed the PCB for Rs.2000/-. But referidgerator did not start cooling, Next day he came with three engineer and filled the gas in compressor and charged 1585/- additional charges. But even then referidgerator did not start cooling. On my calling them they informed me that they would give my money back but now they are not picking up my phone calls......

                                  Now I am feeling cheated and want to take action against them....
                                  These Guys are Fraud, I just Google'd this number ([protected]) and read your complaint, I have a similar problem. They are now operating with the different name o[censored]nique Services, claims to be based of Nariana, Noida, Govindpuri... Something definitely needs to be done. They took 6000/- Rs from me stating that my Fridge now as a 5years AMC. Surprisingly, i got their number from Just Dial...
                                  They have chated me as well. Can anyone help with telling us what can be done about this fraud. Where can we register these complaints?

                                    I had purchased a Semi Automatic Electrolux Washing Machine in Kolkata from Sales Emporium on 22/04/2011 and is not working since last six months , after repeated complains to the service center my machine is not working till date , and the service personal are saying that we have no spare parts and now the guarantee period is getting over pls tell me what to do.
                                    I HAVE PURCHASED A ELECTROLUX WASHING MACHINE ON[protected] FROM CROMA Ansal plaza Gr.noida, THE MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY SINCE 18th Jan2012 . I REGISTERD CALL IN CUSTOMER CARE ABOUT THIS. ON 19TH JAN .THE TECHNICIAN VISITED AT MY HOME AND TOLD US THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM IN DRAIN MOTOR. SO THAT I WILL BE REPLACE TOMARROW MORINNING . BUT NOT YET COME ANY TECHNICIAN . SO THAT WE NOT SATISHFIED YOUR SERVICE. CALL CENTER GUYS TELL ME WE DON,T HAVE SPARE PART FOR THAT MACHINE SO THAT STILL PANDING YOUR CALL.

                                    KINDLY TELL ME WHAT IS THE EXPECTED TIME & DATE .IT IS POSIBLE OR NOT.?

                                      My fridge stopped its cooling around 3weeks back. so instead of calling any local repair guy i choose to call company complaint centre, which is somewhere near kangra. The guy came after two days and replaced the timer of the fridge and asked me to switch on the fridge after a day.
                                      After a day when i switched it on it did not work, so i again called the guy and requested him to come and see. to which the answer from the other side was due to marriage season we can not send a guy before 12th march. i was shocked to here his answer, and told him that its really important and urgent. so he told that he will call me in a day or two to let me know.
                                      anyways, noone called and since i had some guests at home so i choose to show the fridge to a local guy. this guy when checked the timer told me that the timer that they have installed was not the right one. it was from a different series. which shocked me even more. anyways, now i have my fridge working due to local repair guy and till date i have not recd any call from the service center guy.

                                      this is the service that is given by a brand like electrolux.

                                        Hi,

                                        My name is Pradeep Daware from Pimple Saudagar, Pune.I have purchased an Electrolux Washing Machine from Vijay Sales Chinchwad in October 2011. After the purchase we just used it for 3 times as was suggested by the staff of Electrolux who came our home for a demo. After just three wash it started making huge sound while washing clothes. I did called the Electrolux Call Center and logged a complaint. When the complaint was logged they sent a technician at home to repair who had absolutely no idea what was the issue. He completely opened the washing machine and somehow got to know that the issue was with the suspension and said that he will be back in 2 days with new suspensions. Moth passed but no updates from that technician.

                                        Again after several calls to their call center they sent another technician who again opened the washing machine and connected the new suspension that he got, still no change again there was sound from washing machine. Later on he concluded that there was no grease applied to the suspensions. He took around two weeks to get the grease. He applied the grease and still no change there is still noise coming from the washing machine while washing clothes. So then he said that he will be getting all the set of 4 new suspensions and check if it works, if it doesnt the we will replace the washing machine. Its been more that a month no one from Electrolux had turned up. Every day I have to call the technician and just getting fake promises that they will come to fix this issue.

                                        Its quite disappointing that Electrolux has such bad service.
