A/c started giving complaint 6 months after date of purchase. Service providers attended many times and repeated gas filling number of times, but no permanent solution yet. I refused any further filling of gas and requested for replacement of the defective unit within the warranty period. They did not oblige. Now the warranty period is over and they keep silent over the issue.

I have now decided to proceed legally.

Need advise.

    Complaints against Poorest Quality Product, Electrolux Air Conditioner (AC) Service Manager for harassment, misconduct and taking away of the Display Panel and Motor of the AC, thus leaving behind a non-functioning AC.



    With utmost regret I am filing the following complaint with regard to the above mentioned subject for immediate action. I am furnishing the following detailed facts.
    1. My family had purchased Two (2) Electrolux Split Air Conditioners on 22. 10. 2009 from Vijay Sales, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The said ACs were installed on 24. 10. 2009 by a agency named Nahur Electronics Services (NES), NES Bhavan, Bharathi Road, Mulund (W), Mumbai 400 080.
    2. The details of the Air Conditioners are as follows –

    3. Since the time of purchase the company (Electrolux) had only provided one service to both the ACs, whereas during the time of purchase three (3) free services were promised to us. We have made innumerable telephone calls to Nahur Electronics Services (NES) and requested them to provide required service. But neither did they pay any heed nor taken any action in this regard. Later we were informed that due to poor performance, the service contract was withdrawn from NES by Electrolux.

    4. It may be kindly noted that during the first service itself on 11.04.2010, we have complained about a) the defective display panel, b) non-functioning of Swing motor in one of the AC. They then informed the abovementioned problems would be rectified within two-three days; a complaint was also entered and duly signed by the technicians in the Service Card (up-to-date records are maintained, will be furnished as and when required). Thereafter, we made many calls and lodged several complaints, till today the parts are not replaced; and finally they stopped taking our calls and giving us any complaint numbers and proper response. It may be definitely noted we cannot use the AC during the time of scorching summer heat; further this entire episode has been extremely harassing and disturbing for us which has not only caused enormous inconvenience to our family but caused greater mental tension, and loss of time.

    5. Subsequently, once we called NES, they told us henceforth they are no way responsible for any work of our ACs and we should contact the company directly.

    6. Hence, without any direction we complained the same to Vijay Sales (VS), Vashi, Navi Mumbai from where we purchased the AC. We informed the VS that within six month of purchase of the AC developed serious technical problem and stopped functioning. We also reported about the absence of any service from the company and absolute negligence from the service center. Then they suggested us to contact Mr. Dhananjay Kadam, the Area Service Manager, Electrolux. On 8th November 2010 we reported the entire ordeal to him; he immediately agreed to look into the matter and promised to change the defective parts (Display panel and swings motor) with new ones. Since then he has been giving us false promises only and done absolutely nothing about problem.

    7. We have made approximately 15 to 20 calls to Mr. Dhananjay, (Mobile Nos. [protected], [protected]) but in vain. After our constant reminders, on 22.10.2009 he sent two technicians from TekCare India Pvt. Ltd. when they checked the defective Display panel/Swing motor and confirmed that both parts needs to be replaced. Afterwards they certified that the parts have to be replaced (copy of the Job Sheet Attached). Finally again we had to get in touch (over the phone) with Mr. Dhananjay when he told he will procure the parts which are not available and as soon as the parts arrive he will arrange to replace the same.

    8. In the mean time surprisingly Mr. Dhananjay has sent two technicians from Reso Services on 5th Feb 2011 to my residence and the technicians had removed and taken away the Display panel and swing motor (Job Sheet attached for set Sr. No. [protected]).

    9. Since then we had been pleading and requesting Mr. Dhananjay to rectify the AC, but instead he has been giving us false promises and completely stopped replying to our requests.

    10. Eventually, on 02.03.11 at 12.30pm the undersigned called Electrolux company help line [protected] and lodged a complaint. In turn they gave me Complaint reference PTNA [protected] and informed within 48 hours the problem will be attended to. Mostly regretfully, I submit that till today no action has been taken in this matter.


    We are filing herewith this serious complaint against the Electrolux Company for selling poorest quality Air Conditioner Product and complaint against Mr. Dhananjay Kadam, Electrolux AC Service Manager and the Electrolux Company for harassment, misconduct, breach of contract and taking away of the Display panel and Motor of our AC. We would request you to look into the matter immediately and resolve the issue amicably to our satisfaction.

      I want to draw your kind attention through the medium of this e-mail that i am a resident of ghazibad.I had purchased a electrolux refrigerator five years ago from Rajasthan Electronics, Kalkagari Chowk, Ambedkar Road, Ghaziabad. I was satisfied with the performance of the referigerator. But since last one year, I have been facing a major problem that there is excessive chilling in the deep freezer leading to excessive formation of ice and no cooling has been observed in the lower half where all the food products and vegetables are stored.Inspite of repeated complaints and frequent visits of your engineers from the Ghaziabad service centre on Ambedkar Road, the problem has not been resolved yet,though a temporary respite was provided each time. So i request you to look after the matter and provide some immediate solution as summers are approaching.

        I wish to bring to your kind notice that I had purchased ELECTROLUX Refigerator 180 Lit capacity oxy cool Luxury Model from M/s. Jaihind Associates, 316, Arcot Road Kodambakkam, Chennai 600 024 through CANTEEN STORES on 25.8.08. After a week times when I started defrosting I noticed that the defrost water was not going out and it started accumulating in the vegtable box because the small tray connecting freezer tray and the outlet was not there and I have noticed that the paint of the door started peeling off and rust formed especially around the key hole. Immediately I called Jaihind Associates and told them about this. The person asked me contact customer care I made my first complaint vide complaint No.[protected] dated 17.9.08. After two weeks your service personnel came and fixed one old connecting tray and that time I told him about the rusting. He asked me to make a complaint to customer care. Subsequently, I had made several complaints vide the following reference Nos. and your service personnel Mr.Siva, Mr.Mohammed, Mr.Dinesh and Mr.Sidhanandham (Service Manager) have been informed of the problem.

        I bought Electrolux refrigerator on[protected] after a week times when i started defrosting i noticed that the defrost water was not going out and it started accumulating in the vegetable box because the small tray connecting freezer tray and the outlet was not there and i have noticed that the paint of the door started rusting and peel off the paint.we made complaint several times no body taking response about that matter for the past 18 months.         They normally donot respond for the complaints. My refrigerator also had complaint of cracking the plastic parts without any loads on the areas. I have complainted but till date no response. Very poor service.

          Dissatisfied Customer service exp!!!
          Dear Sir,

          I own a electrolux washing machine in bangalore and i have lodged a complaint for servicing but it was not attended properly and i am totally dissatisfied by your service.

          As our washing machine is not cleaning clothes properly i have lodged a complaint against it, One of your executive checked and confirmed that one more guy would come and take care of it. But he did not even do anything and told that we have to sent it to service center.

          I dont understand as this was done because it was under warranty period and you people are not paid??. Do u people dont even do basic things like cleaning or stuff when we lodge a complaint????

          Sorry to say but it was really dissatisfied experience where company is known for "Best Post Sales Service"

            I HAVE PURCHASED A ELECTROLUX WASHING MACHINE ON[protected] FROM NANGAL, THE MACHINE WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY SINCE 27TH FEBRUARY 2011. I CALL MY LOCAL DEALER ABOUT THIS. ON 28TH FEB THE PERSON VISITED AT MY HOME AND TOLD US THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM IN GEARBOX OF MACHINE AND IT NEED TO BE CHANGED AND. HE TOLD THAT THIS PART WILL BE CHARGED ABOUT RS 700/-. BUT THE MACHINE IS UNDER WARRANTY PERIOD SO HE ASKED ME TO CALL ON COMPANIES TOLL FREE NUMBER TO REGISTER THE COMPLIANT. AND SAME DAY I REGISTERED A COMPLIANT ON THE TOLL FREE NUMBER [protected] COMPLIANT NO. IS PCHD[protected]. BUT AFTER 15 DAYS OF REGISTERING MY COMPLIANT THERE IS NO POSITIVE RESPONSE FROM COMPANY. WHEN I CALL THE SAME TOLL FREE NUMBER TO CHECK STATUS THEN THE RESPONSED THAT AN ENGINEER HAS VISITED TO MY HOUSE ON[protected] AND FOUND THAT THE GEAR SYSTEM IS TO BE CHANGED AND THE SAID PART IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH THEM.             Electrolux Washing Machine — Not attending the complaint

            Respected Sir,
            I have bought electrolux washing machine model EWT553MEW0 on[protected].The product has two year warranty.From September, 2009 the inside drainout pipe is leaking.I gave a complaint on october 13th 2009.The complaint number is HYD[protected].On October 15th, technician came to my place and told me that the required spare part is not available at that time and with in a week they will solve the problem.From then on wards i called them many times and they keep on telling that they dont have the required spare part.On December 1st, I called Electrolux service toll free ([protected]) and gave a complaint.The complaint number is HYD[protected].They told me that the problem will be solved with in 24 hours.But till now no one attended.
            I am giving the local authorised servicing centre address.

            Electrolux Washing Machine — Complaint not attended

            We have to replace our top glass cover as its broken. We lodged a complaint 10 days back and only this morning after almost 19 phone calls did they send a person who left in 2 minutes as he had no replacement glass.
            I am very dissappointed and alarmed by the service standards.

            COOLING SALES about this. on 21st december 2010 person visited at my home and told us that there is problem in Pump Motor and he told that this parts charged Rs 2050/= i said ok do it and person said me iam oder this part it will cum to taking 5/6 days i said ok, 5th january 2011 person come replaced the part iam giveing the charges Rs 2050/- after 2days go again machine was not working 7th january 2011 iam called the person, person was come told us me there is problem in main motor it will charged Rs 3500/-i said ok replced it 10th january he was replced the main motor and iam giveing the charges of Rs 3500/-after 1days go again machine was not working again i call the person, person is come told us me i taking the machine work shop i said ok he colleted the machine 29/01/2011 after 4/5days go i called the person mr Meheraj what happen of my washing machine he said it will take one week i said ok after 10/12 days go again i call meheraj he said it will take 3/4days i said ok after 5/6 days go again i call mr meheraj he said it will take One week i said ok after one week go i call mr meheraj he said ur machine is not reapairble giveing 50% cash refund.and iam argument mr meheraj he said you can copmlaint electrolux ltd. Your goodself is requested to look after the matter take some necessary action please.

                this is to bring to your kind notice that our frost free refrigerator DFF40
                has not been cooling since the last 2 months. we've already paid the service charges twice to the service centers involved. both these centers duped us and have not got back to us, inspite of repeated phonecalls. I shall give you the necessary details if i get some positive response from you. please do suggest the next course of action.
                We ARE A BIG FAMILY OF 14 AND THIS IS INCONVENIENCING US A GREAT

                  Hi, I had bought a Electrolux Double Door Fridge on 31.03.09 from M/s. Gunjan Radio, Harda, on 05.02.11 my fridge was not working hence I did complaint to the dealer, after follow up of 2 days he had given me Mobile No. of Mr. Vahid, Proprietor of M/s. Smart Service Centre, Harda your authorised service centre in Harda. Vahid sent some another person who did not diagnose the problem and open PCB of fridge and bring with him for repairing, after 2 days he came and fix the PCB but still fridge was not working, on 13.02.11 I strickly told to Mr. Vahid then he came to my home to attend the complaint first time and said fan of the fridge is not working and replace the fan, now it is working, but Mr. Vahid has charged Rs.1140/-for this, details is hereunder:-

                  Service Charges Rs.250/-

                  The Authorised Service Centre is cheating to the customers and no responsible person/agency is available to look after the problems of the customers in Harda

                    Respected Sir,

                    This is regarding a complaint about a refrigerator purchased by mother in law 5 years back.Due to lack of knowledge about the consumer protection I would like to bring your kind attention to the issue regarding a Refrigerator of Keltron Electrolux model no.50705734.Date of purchasing of refrigerator was on 23/12/2005 with one year warranty.The device not functioned properly after 6 months usage and the service centre charged for repairing charges during the warranty period.The cooling problem theysaid that because of gas leakage and they refill it with extra charges.After that we use the same and the consumption of electricity become three to four times than earlier.So we use the device for 4 months and rest for four years keep that dead as switched off.Today i try to reuse the same and when i try to the customer care fellow He is out of Office and for that i again spent 250 Rupees for the outside maintainance persons and they said to pay 3000 for changing the cooling filaments and again gas filling and service charges.Now i am at the edge of thinking about scrap Rupees 11,111 which paid 5 years back.

                      I bought the machine in July 2009. I used it w/o problems till March 2010. It has a two year warranty on it. It was left unused from April 2010 right to November 2010 while we were in Singapore. On our return to India, we started having problems
                      - it would start the cycle and after filling water to the required level, the WASH, RINSE and SPIN lights would flash continuously with the cycle at standstill. Their local service center sent a technician and he checked the machine and could find no problem. When the malfunction reoccurred the service technician checked and once again found no fault but suggested that the water flow was low, and that we should augment the water input with another hose. The instruction on your machine states that we should not fill water manually, but sure enough when the water filling is 'assisted' it works well; but then it has to be operated like a semi-automatic. My questions are:
                      1. When new it worked beautifully with the water flow as existing or even lesser than earlier. Why does it give problems now?
                      2. What is the minimum recommended water flow in lpm?
                      I have sent in a complaint to their customer care division but they have not bothered to acknowledge my mail.

                      That my client is the customer, had purchased a product of No.2 of you at No.1 of you on 14.10.2012 vide bill No.[protected].
                      The said article purchased by my client is a washing machine of the product no.2 of you vide Code No.[protected] described as "WM-IFB-5.5 kg, SENORITA DX-TA" vide serial No.[protected], which costs of Rs.20,500/- inclusive of all taxes(in total) which may here in after be called as the "Washing Machine".
                      As per your records the ID of my client is2498555. After the purchase of the washings machine by my client the personal who was interested to conduct a demonstration did so behalf of you. Vide Demo No.5269159.
                      On the day of the demonstration itself the washing machine was sounded improperly in operation. my client was made believed by the person deputed to conduct the demo had answered to my client the sound is not a problem and it will be set right in due course o[censored]sage. Subsequently it was proved wrong and the improper sounds continued to the machine in operation.
                      My client had compiled to No.1 of you who forwarded the same on 25.11.2010 vide No.2 of you at Vijayawada. In pursuance of the said complaint a person deputed to attend it, without rectifying the trouble had assured my client that he (my client) can use the machine without hesitation, as it will set right automatically in due course of its usage, It was not happened so.
                      Here my client wants to bring an issue to your notice may be useful to detect the reasons behind this entire problem arisen to the product of a prestigious company(No.2 of you) i.e. the packing seal of the washing machine was tarred at the time of delivery itself. The said tarring of the seal at the time of the said delivery was subsequently understood to my client on when noticed another demonstration at his neighbor . Then itself my client was also known that he was not given the under(safety) mat. Subsequently my client the same to No. 1 of you and was handed over with the said under mat. Therefore all these together through my client to conclusion that he must have delivered a defective piece in the inspection itself.
                      Again on 28.12.2010 my client gave his complaint vide No.5647086 which was also timely attended by the service personnel of No.2 of you, but in vain. At last on 30.12.2010 vide No.5472250. Inspite of all the complaints made by client he did not get ant remedy and the problem still exists. Hence this notice to you, seeking to probe into the issue and direct the concern to replace the washing machine with a new sealed piece by which favorable act my client's seeking the indulgence of law will be prevented and the good will of you will be continued and also will be raised with in our local area.

                        Right from day of purchasing of the ELECTROLUX fridge, there has been consistent problem to this 285 ltr double door frost free fridge.

                        Recently another breakdown forced me to get in touch with the local service centre who informed that their service agency is cancelled by ELECTROLUX and some new centre is responsible.

                        As per that i gave call to toll free number and registered my complaint under RAN [protected] on 1st week of Jan 2011. It took another couple of calls to get those people to our place who came and said that it calls for compressor change. So this was another setback as compressor is warranted for 5 years and exactly after 5 yrs, the ELECTROLUX compressor is down. Unlike pther reputed brand one hardly see compressor getting replaced in 5 yrs.

                        Now coming to changing of compressor and getting the fridge corrected, there has been constant chasing with the service centre of ELECTROLUX but no one is there to take care of solving the problem. Standard answer comes that they do not have requisite parts.

                        Am not sure if this ELECTROLUX brand is worth to go for my future appliances requirement.

                        Hope my problem is solved and service level of ELECTROLUX improves in India.

                        Eletrolux india — worst service level

                        self wone eletrolux split ac unit since 3 years.
                        I have requested for overall service 2 weeks ago ( 15th may 2008). and electrolux register my request and complient # was
                        (8i[protected]).
                        till now i have contaced 10 times yet nobody care for my request.
                        i should think twice before buying this brand products in future.
                        i bought freez o[censored] r company 1 year ago but now i facd problems lik verious sound frm freez an cooling problem plz help me as sson as possible i[censored] r not help me within 10 day then i will file case in consumer forum against u r service problem i contct u r custmoue service lot of time but no one help me
                        Rotten service by electrolux guys..they dont even have a web site??? i bet, people should never go in for a product that does not have a good customer service. my 6 month old refrigerator conked off and its been 4 weeks since anyone came to repair! inspite of calling them everyday.

                          Hi,

                          I bought Electrolux Microwave on Dec 31st,2008 from one of the leading
                          retail outlets (Reliance Digital), Hyderabad.
                          I used very less and the microwave is still new, but suddenly, the microwave stopped working and i gave a compliant to the Electrolux customer care department in July 2010. But a technician from Saba Service Center(Malakpet,Hyderabad) visited my premise and informed me that Electrolux doesn't have service centers in Andhra pradesh and they are representing Electrolux. He was testing the microwave and some sparks came out of microwave and he claimed that the problem cannot be solved at my premise, as he doesn't have enough equipments. He was trying to do R & D on my microwave. I was not confident and comfortable in giving my microwave to their premise, as the technician from Saba Service Center was not at all professional and confident. I am afraid of the way they handle my microwave. He did not fixed the problem but asked for service charges and I need to pay Rs. 250/- to the technician, as he was claiming that, he visited my premise and he will take the charges.

                          I spoke to the senior person of the electrolux customer care team and ensured that a technician from other service center will visit and solve my problem.

                          Accordingly, a technician from Dynamic service center(King koti,
                          Hyderabad) has visited my place and attended the compliant and took
                          the front panel for repair and after several days of my follow-up(nearly 2 months) the
                          guy came and fixed it. I need to pay Rs.540/- for parts which he claimed has fixed into the panel and left the place.
                          But unfortunately, the repair was not complete and the timer is not
                          working which i observed immediately and informed to the technician.
                          The technician was keep telling me that he will be visiting my place
                          and 2 more months passed and he never turned up.

                          I gave the compliant to electrolux by sending email and a guy called Bharat called me and said that, there is some timer problem and they need to replace the timer and they need to import the timer from another country which will take some more time. 2 more months passed on.
                          I lost my patience and i think i made around 100 calls to electrolux service center, bharat and technican putting many efforts and time.

                          Finally in december 2010, i got a call from Sridar saying that earlier Electrolux doesn't used to have exclusive service centers and they recently started exclusive service center and they were earlier running the show in a pool of service centres and infact the call center which is handling calls is of pool of companys which handles calls for other company's home appliances also.


                          I got the problem fixed in January 2011, after 6 months of my compliant.
                          So, i want justice to my problem and i do not want any other customer like me face such kind of problems here after.

                          I want to take strick legal action on Electrolux company for 2 reasons.
                          1) The products are not good which could not serve properly even after less usage.
                          2) Electrolux do not have proper organised service centers in Andhra pradesh and gives least preference to the customer complaints and values.

                          I want the compensation from Electrolux for the trauma and pain which i faced all these days and for spending huge amount of time and money.

                            Bought electrolux Microwave from Vijay sales Ghodbunder Road Thane west. ITEM NO. ELECTL MW EM30EC90 SS BOUGHT ON 15TH AUG 2008. Complain was logded with vijay sales for after sales ervice complaint no. 1007B240025. When attended, feedback given to me that control panel could not be repaired. I requested to replace the same. which was supposed to be done in months time which has not happened even after 4 months.
                            Can it be helped or should sell my microwave to scrap. Post sales service by eletrolux can be so pathetic is unimaginable.

                              We have an Electrolux Front Loading machine. However, the water has been leaking from the machine during the last part of the rinse cycle.
                              In spite of repeated complaints to the helpline , there has been no response from the company. I was referred to the Technical Head, Mr. Shamim who has been promising that he will send a technician to solve the problem. However, not only has he failed to send anyone, he is refusing to even accept my phone calls. Our complaint no is mum[protected].

                                  I have purchased electrolux refrigerator in July 2007 the fridge compressor got fail in 2008. Electrolux replaced the compressor after 2 week. in 2009 our electricity bill was coming double than the normal bills & when we have investigated then we came to know that this is due to the compressor which was running continuously. as a result we have paid almost 4000 to 5000 Rs. extra on electricity. we have complained to electrolux & they again replaced the compressor under warranty. we are facing same problem in 2010 oct & registered the complaint on electrolux. they took our fridge 3 weeks ago & still there is no proper response from their service franchise.

                                  now we don't want this refrigerator since this is having repetitive cooling problem & need replacement for the same.

                                  second complaint no AHM[protected] Dt.16/12/10

                                  i have talk to electrolux service guy vipul patel mb [protected] & he is ensuring verbally that there will not be any problem in future. if the problem will come they will give free replacement. BUT HE IS NOT COMMUNICATING IN WRITING.

                                      It is brought to your kind notice that we are feeling very sad on purchase of one no 23 litre microwave (Model EK23CSl4 S. No 0052) on dated: 04.11.10(before Diwali) from M/S PINKY ELECTRONICS , SCO 113, Sector 22-B, Chandigarh-160022 vide invoice no: 9231. Till date no person/representative of Electrolux visited our premises regarding live demo of equipment. The person visited in third week of Nov. from Chandigarh service centre was from LG who do not have thorough knowledge about ELECTROLUX panel functions. Moreover it is also brought to ur notice that no body knows about the cooking classes venue.

                                      I have requested many times to Mr. Rajiv of M/s PINKY ELECTRONICS.It was promised by him that after Diwali our representive will come to ur house for LIVE demo of new microwave oven. Till date no representative visited as date 02.12.2010 was given.

                                      I have also registered complaints at[protected]CHA [protected], CHA [protected], CHA [protected]) but there is no response till date from there represtatives.

                                      I also made contact with Mr. Rajeshwar ([protected]) but no positive response given by him. He asked me to make contact with area incharge Mr. Rajesh ([protected]) . After explaining my problem to him. He asked me to send him the complaints nos through SMS which I have already sent. But no person visited.

                                      I m feeling very sad from poor services provided by them.

                                        I have purchased the product refrigerator of Electrolux from "Digi world", Bhavnagar, Gujarat, on dated 2nd Sep. 2010.
                                        But after some days there is problem in door. Door could not be properly working and so I informed dealor and local service center on dated 17th Oct. 2010 and register my complain. after few days a person came and advise that door will be replace within 2 days. I waited for 10 days and the person not came for reparing. I again contact both dealer + service centre to do needful. but till date no one is doing proper duty.
                                        I finally inform you and if possible I will like to go consumer court.
