Lodged a complaint with Electrolux for high freezer temperature in refrigerator model DFF-40 on 11/05/10 (Complaint No MUM[protected]). Technician was sent on 12/05/2010. He diagnosed the problem as faulty

heater and said it would be replaced next day. Service charge of Rs 350 was paid in cash (no receipt provided).

Next day (13/05) around 3:30 pm technician came with a supposedly new heater coil. I could see scratch marks on the coil and upon asking him about it, he said that each and every part is tested by actually fitting it

to the freezer which results in these abrasions and scratch marks and that there are no issues with the same. He fitted the new heater coil but could not fit the same properly and so used copper wire by removing the

external PVC from it to tie it. (He did not even have wire clippers with him and used a Topaz blade and pliers to achieve the objective). Upon questioning him about using copper wire to tie up things his response was

that it is standard practice. If this is so then why not move around with proper tie wires? The charges for the same were Rs 4500 which I paid by cheque. No invoice or bill was provided for the same but a carbon copy of

the job card which the technician was carrying with him.

The same evening the electricity supply of my entire house tripped. Upon checking it was found that the refrigerator was the culprit. Disconnected the refrigerator and the electricity problem was gone. Tried calling up

the helpdesk on[protected] at around 8:00 pmbut there was no response (they claim to have a 24 hrs complaint registration process on the job card).

I am an electronics engineer and fond of opening things up. Next morning powered up the refrigerator and as expected the elec supply tripped. Opened up the freezer compartment and started removing the various

connectors one by one. No doubt the problem was with the heater coil. It had shorted. I cut the wires for the same and restarted the refrigerator and it's working. (For those who do not know - the purpose of the heater

coil (also called as timer) is to remove the ice formation on the fins in auto defrost refrigerators.

Called up the helpdesk again after doing a stop payment on the cheque (did not inform them about the stop payment though) and asked them to connect me to someone senior. They said that all the seniors were busy

and that since they cannot make any outgoing calls that I should call back again. Called up again 2-3 times and each time after explaining the situation to their new CSR was still unable to speak to anyone. I can

provide my call log from my service provider to substantiate these claims. Finally they gave me 2 cell numbers of their so called seniors (Mr Khan [protected] and Mr Balwant [protected]). As expected both the

numbers were not working. A fresh complaint was lodged on 14/05 and was promised that it would be attended to immediately. On 15/05 received a call from a lady from Electrolux [protected] at 13:44 hrs asking me

about the service experience. Explained to her once again my situation and she said that she would personally follow-up and have the same attended to immediately.

On 17/05 received a call once again from Electrolux (number[protected] at 12:59 pm) asking me what the problem is. On counter questioning her that I have already explained this umpteen number of times and

that she should check her database to find out what the problem is - her answer was that the syatem does not log such details.

Called up Electrolux helpline services (Operated by Tekcare India) at 15:03pm and told informed them that I have done a stop payment of the cheque and that in case someone does not turn up for repairs by the end of

the day then please cancel the complaint and forget about your payment. In case someone does actually turn up, I'll be making the payment by a post dated cheque (after 15 days) and if the refrigerator works properly

then only this cheque will be honoured. Let's see what happens now.

How does electrolux expect that in summers someone can live w/o a refrigerator for 4+ days. Why can't they provide a proper receipt with the details of the part number that has been replaced? One of the ridiculous

terms and conditions on the job card reads - "Defective parts will not be given to the customer. If the customer wants the defective part back, he shall give an application alongwith the technician at the time of repair of

the set and after confirmation from service incharge collect the defective part from the center within 7 days of extra payment of 20% of "CUSTOMER SERVICE". - Why sir? Is that a modus operandi of cheating

customers by 1) Replacing parts that are not defective 2) Repairing the defective part and passing it off as new (as I suspect happened in my case).

Incidentally, a complaint sent to their customer support (as printed on the job card) - [protected]@tekcaremail.com bounced as well.

A Quick Update

- No one turned up from Tekcare on 17/05.
- 18/05 12:00 Noon Received call from Engineer ([protected]) that replacement heater coil is issued and he will come to replace it within 1 - 1.5 hours
- 18/05 12:30 Same engineer calls and says that heater unit is not in stock and will take sometime to be available.


- 18/05 12:51 I called up Just Dial for Electrolux refrigerator repair companies.( Within next 30 minutes I get called up by 4 companies)
- 18/05 12:56 Call from Sakshi Cooling Services. I tell the problem. They quote a price of Rs 3235. I confirm.
- 18/05 14:30 Engineer comes with spare
- 18/05 15:30 Service complete. Refrigerator working fine. (Warranty of 1 year)
- All fitment done properly unlike Tekcare which had used stripped copper wire and propably fitted a refurbished heater coil.

- Tekcare had Quoted a price of Rs 4500 + Rs 350. Warranty of only 3 months.
- I'm still waiting for Tekcare to provide a proper service. Sakshi Coolong completed the task in a little over 2.5 hours.
- You decide whether to utilize the services of Tekcare (the authorized service agents). They are fraud. Better to stay away from them.

    I have purchased DF 440 fridge electrolux. Since last one year it is giving frequent problem. Many time service engineer has visited and changed PCB, Thermostat & Heater also , but problem of " STOPPED COOLING" STILL PERSIST. Due to malfunctioning of either PCB / Thermostat or heater, automatic defrost is stopped and due to deposition of ice cooling also stopped. Some expert is required to visit to know the problem, however even after complaining many times, problem is not resolved.

    Electrolux — pathetic after sales service and poor knowledge of the product

    We had purchased a microwave from Vijay sales in 2009. Just after the end of 2nd year we are having issues with the machine. We called the customer care to send the executive for checking. When the person came we told him the issue and he checked and at that time nothing happened so he just left taking the visiting charges of 300 Rs(which is valid for a month if some issue happens again). Again after 2 days we faced the same issue and called him .He came and said that there is some display issue which will cost around Rs 1200. He said he will come back to put it after 2 days. After 4 days we gave him a call asking for updates and he said he will come in a day or two. When he came and put the repaired part in the machine the machine did not start. Again he took it back.Again we called him after 4 days and again he came 2 days after that with the part and again the machine did not start. Now this person is saying the sensor is gone as well and it will cost us 2250 Rs.The machine cost ed us 6000 Rs.and now to spend almost half amount to get is repaired is mere crap.This is very annoying. Firstly the person does not know whats the actual issue in the machine and them he keeps blaming that some or the other part is spoilt or not working. Is this the way to treat the customers. We unnecessarily end up paying so much money for doing nothing and not to our satisfaction. Our neighbor has LG microwave machine and nothing has happened to it since 9 years, I am sure i wont be recommending this company to anyone due to bad services with lack of knowledge executives and poor machine qualities.Also the charges are very high to replace the parts. I doubt if the executive is saying the right prices as well and also offered us to get the machine repaired privately with some discount.I told the exec to bring the part back unrepaired. Finally i got some private service mechanic in my colony to repair the machine and he charged us 900 Rs and got the machine done in just one day for the same thing where the company was charging us 2250 + visiting charges + more than 20 days of not getting it repaired. We have also told the repairer that if you get someone who wants to buy a second hand machine, you can let us know as we would like to remove the electrolux machine and buy a new one of some other company. I even put across a complaint mail to the company but no one seems to care to respond back. This shows how much the company is interested into satisfying the customers.I would recommend to not but the products of this company as they seem to have very bad customer service and pathetic executives to repair the machines who have absolutely no knowledge.
    I, Mr ASOKE KUMAR SINHA, BALLY, HOWRAH, WESTBENGAL purchased a new refrigerator of Electrolux company on 31st may 2012 and it became out of order from 7th June 2012, I talk to my shop ADAMS ELECTRONICS and also with Customer Care several times but unfortunately they had sent such a person who has no knowledge of refrigeration and till date it is completly out of order. I think we should high light this thing to media that electrolux is a cheating company and further nobody can face this type of ill fate like us . Basically they selling low grade material and their after sales service is so poor and service engineer appointed have no technical Fonda and how they have appointed such type of poor illiterate people as service engineer who claims themselves as market leader.
    I do not know how their Top Bosses are sitting ideal even after getting all informations and how they have appointed such type of poor illiterate persons to their esteem organization as sales engineer having no knowledge of product.

    I think my massage should reach to the heads of the organization who has customer care either has no communication with their service engineer or giving fake assurance to customer like us who have wrongly invested money such a badly unprofessional company.

      I had purchased one refregirator Electrolux 285 FF Ozone Prem M Silver on
      31.08.2006, the product bears a warranty of 5 years on the compressor.
      Warranty card and invoice of purchase etc are available with us.

      From last two years number of times it has stopped functioning.

      Recently it had got some problem and stopped cooling again. We have lodged complaint also on Customercare number and were alotted the compliant no LUC[protected].

      However inspite of repeated reminders noone attended to the calls and came for the checking of products. After sometime even after it was taken by electrolux people and we paid around 1500 rupees despite being in warranty period the cooling is not yet started. PLEASE GUIDE.

      SHORT LIFE OF PRODUCT, POOR SERVICE, DONT BUY
      My ELECTROLUX Refrigerator Model ERP285FF showed a complaint No Cooling on 6th April 2011. I registered a complaint with the Authorized Service Center M/s TEKWINS ELECTRONICS, Chittur Road, Palakkad, The timer was not working and no gas was there in the line. They tested and brazed the pipe near compressor and recharged the gas. They charged Rs 2450/-. But after running about 8 hours it is found that there is no sufficient cooling in the freezer. After inspection the technician told that there may be leakage in the condenser portion which is concealed and they cannot do anything. Then I registered a complaint with customer care on 14th April 2011 with complaint number PCOC[protected] and till date nobody called or visited the site. When ever I call the customer care they give some promises that today they will call, tomorrow they will call like that. After repeated enquiry I got a Service Engineer in Kochi and I got a reply that if the leakage is from concealed condenser line, it is not reparable. It may be noted that the refrigerator is only 5 years old. When enquired I knew that this type of complaint is common in Electrolux Refrigerators as they use inferior quality tubes for manufacturing condenser. Also the timer damages frequently resulting heavy loss to customer.

      SO DON’T BUY ELECTROLUX REFRIGERATORS – SHORT LIFE and POOR SERVICE

        Complaint no. KLBO 426076 dated 26 April 2010. Rep visited on 29 April 2010 (after 72 hrs). Gave estimates and informed that fridge has to be taken to service centre for repairs. It was agreed to. Rep informed that fridge would be taken away the next day. However there has been no response from service centre (till 5 May 2010) despite repeated requests. This is so disturbing and harassing.

        Electrolux/Refrigerator — Respond

        Hi,

        I am drafting this mail after a complete dissatisfaction on the part of
        Electrolux after sales service team. I purchased electrolux
        refrigerator on 4/july/2004.The fridge broke down in the warranty
        period in sep 2008 after which I have registered several complaints &
        in response a few complaints were attended but the problem persisted.
        The servicemen always changed the gas & said the problem will not
        recur.However, the problem still persists.
        I again placed a service request on 16/5/11 & spoke to Ms.Saani who
        asked me to call after 30 mins.After 30 mins we were given the No.of
        electrolux customer care cell i.e, [protected].I spoke to Mr.
        Divesh(Hindi Section) on this No & obtained complaint No.
        PBLR[protected]. As no one visited till 20/5/11, I reminded the customer
        service cell & got fresh complant no. - PBLR[protected]. On about
        23/5/11 a representative(Name not known) visited & asked to switch on
        the refrigerator & said that he will examine the fridge next day.He
        came next day & asked for the history of the services provided by the
        customer care by the service cell during the last three years. He
        promised to re visit after submitting the details to his superiors.
        There after no one responded. Again on 1/6/11 I called the service cell
        again & apprised them of all the details again,they allotted fresh
        complaint No. PBLR[protected] & promised that an engineer will
        positively visit by 2/6/11. So far no one has turned up.


        Kindly own up the responsibility & do the needful.

        Electrolux Refrigerator — Bad Service

        We have an Electrolux Refrigerator Model 445L OZONE ER 45 (423) purchased from M/s Pai International, 28/1 A, 100 Feet Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore, India on 5th August 2005 vide their Invoice No.[protected]. This equipment stopped working on Monday the 27th of June 2011. On same day a request for service was lodged with the dealer M/s Pai International, Indiranagar, Bangalore but no action was taken by them or by Electolux. Subsequently another complaint was lodged with Electolux Customer Care Centre at Phone No.[protected]. The complaint number given by the Centre was BBLR [protected] dated 28th June 2011. It has been more than 48 hours since then but no service has been provided to us till now. We are suffering huge loss because of the equipment not working.

        Electrolux — No response to the complaint filed against refrigerator

        Our Electrolux refrigerator was facing cooling problem. So we filed complaint in Electrolux service centre([protected]). We filed it on 25'feburary. Our complaint id is(EGZB[protected]). After calling daily a person came but fall back from rudrapur as said the address was not correct. Still we call daily and still no response.
        Please look to our problem.

        Electrolux — Refrigerator servicing

        We are the users of Electolux refrigirator and using the same for the last two years. Recently we had a problem(cooling) with the refrigirator. We have given the complaint on 1st June 2012 to the vendor for servicing. Almost 10 days gone there is no body reported for servicing from the company till date. Though we have followed every day there is no proper response from the company executives. It shows very very poor after sales service support from Electrolux company.

          Dear Sir,

          I had purchased Electrolux Refrigerator Model ETB2400P from M/s Hersons Electronics, BAnk More, Dhanbad.It is a double door refrigerator. The upper deck cooling was OK but lower deck was giving less cooling since purchase on 09.02.2010. Thereafter the blower on upper deck as well as on lower part has stopped working. I had given several complaints but the service engineer has attended only once with no result.

          The service and the product is of very poor quality. I would request through you for replacement of the same because I had spent Rs.12400/- for the same. May kindly forward this to the manufacturer on my behalf.

            I have a washing machine which is not working, so I made a complain and the service engineer visited my home, the machine is not working due to a switch issue as per the service engineer and he said he will replace the switch by the next day, it is more than 3 weeks but he did not came back to fix the switch. Whenever I called the service number, I got a response like we have asked for the switch but that is not available. I dont know how long I have to wait or if the switch will be available ever?...........any help will be appreciated.

              Sir, I had bought this model in April 2005 from M/s Sri Mahaveer Appliances,Jyothinagar, Ramagundam(AP). Since I was away for about one and half year from my home I kept the refigerator OFF for that period.But when I came back in 2009 and switched it ON, there was no cooling.In the meanwhile I had to relocate myself to vizag,I got the fridge repaired from M/s Excell services,Gajuwaka( as I could not find any authorised services). He changed the evaporator coil as it got punctured. The fridge was working fine for about 4 months, but one day we observed that edible things kept in the fridge started rotting and there was no coolng, specially in the bottom portion. When we approached the same person,he said there is some problem with the bi-metal fuse and replaced the same, but the problem persisted. when again we approached him, he came and said the problem is with the timer and replaced the same and asked us to observe for a day or two. But again the problem continued, we told the same person again but he never turned up. When we contacted another person, he said the problem is with condenser coil and he replaced it, but still there is no respite.
              Now we are fed up with all this.I feel I have committed a big mistake by buying ELECTOLUX KELVINATOR REFRIGERATOR, which doesn't have any after sales service.

                I, S. Jha hereby inform that a split ac has been purchased by me on 27/2/06 (model no. EA- 18WCRX, Serial no. E18601WX012039).After working for about 1 year it started giving problems.it dosent cool efficiently.I contacted customer care also but its of no use.They simply come and return back with no rectification.I have been facing this problem for almost 3 years.They are giving no ears to my words.Now in this condition i am planning to get my ac changed.If they are not goin to change then i will move to consumer court.

                  Electrolux ac was purchased on[protected] from M/s Nagpal Electricals the iternal system of ac funcning with is out of order the dealer was approached for its reapairedreplacement the dealer refused to carry out reapair without the production of original billmemo which has been misplaced by me.Those are agreed that ac is is within grantee period.The undersigned requested him to issued the photo copies duplicate from his record.But turned down the requested plea that that original record has been sent to company and he has no record pertaning to sale of ac with him you are very kindly requested issued the duplicate copy of the bill issued the nane of vishal kumar with seral no. lud [protected] and got the neccessary repair done the ealiest as soon as possible.Because the grantee period as the time of left only 22 days so please help me the same.

                  Electrolux — Faulty Air CONDITIONER

                  I purchased an electrolux AC on 25th June 2010, and it still under warranty.
                  I registered a complaint with electrolux call-centre, coplainte No. pgur[protected].
                  After 1 month, and after several follow-ups, they replaced my AC with a new one.
                  I believe this new AC is actually an old one, as after only 2 days the AC stopped cooling.

                  The electrolux employees have been reluctant in picking my calls, and not responding properly.
                  This has been a major mental harrasment for me and my family.
                  Request you to please take some action.

                    Dear Sir,

                    This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Kelvanator make (Model KEF 194 /201 ERP) 7 th December 2010 from Mahamaya Agency Dipka PO-Gevra Dist- Korba (Chhattisgarh) 495452 and since then this machine has been giving vibration & knock problem like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been very poor by M/s. Takcare Service Centre (Authorized Service Centre of Kelvinator), Korba (Chhattisgarh)

                    They have confessed that they cannot rectify the Vivration & knock proble arrangement from inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is totally non-conventional and the said proposal was rejected by undersigned.

                    Meanwhile, I have been offered a proposal for replacement of ‘New Freeze’ by paying some extra money after deducting the depreciation amount Rs 8800/- from the purchase price of Rs.88 00/- (December- 10). I am allready to pay the balance amount even as the machine is a defective one from the day. So, kindly intervene and give your valuable advice immediately to your korba office. on the Summer days without refrigerator.

                      Sir,I have bought one Electrolux A.C 1 year back from our nearby dealer GARGH SONS M.G Road Agra. We have paid him money for installation but the A.C was not installed properly and due to which it is not working properly.

                      We complaint at the Gargh Sales and at the company,s service centre also,but both of them denied for taking any actions.

                      kindly help me out that how can i get rid of this problem

                        I bought the fridge on 01.09.2004 from Kings Electronics, Panvel. So far it has served me well. But due to prolonged use the vegetable tray (15.5 L) as well as the tomato/ coriander bin has broken in parts creating great discomfort. I would be extremely pleased if you could replace the two trays at the earliest. I will bear all the expenses. With thanks and looking forward to your support.

                          I purchased an 'Electrolux' double door fridge from 'NEXT' outlet in Kharghar. It is not at all working and a mechanic from came after a long wait and he advised that it had to be taken to workshop but it didnt happen. As I made repeated complaints to NEXT showroom and officials of Electrolux with many reminders but nothing is done uptil now. can anything be done from your side to getthe fridge okayed.

                              We have purchased the electrolux refrigetor model No.DFF40 in 28 Jan'05.The fridge was working in good condition only for 2 years. After that every year the heater has to be changed and the fridge has to be sent to authorised service centre and after 5-7 days on payment of Rs.3000/- the fridge is back in good working condition.

                              Now this year we have taken the annual maintenance contract (AMC) from M/s Tek Care India Pvt. Ltd.in Kanpur who is a service partner for electrolux. This year also the same problem of heater occurred in Jan'10 and the same was replaced by Tek care India at home only.

                              On 6/4/10 the fridge was not working and complain was lodged vide No. LUC [protected]. This time the service engineer Mr.Amit has visited the site and inform that the sensor is not working. Till today nobody has changed and neither the phone is being received by their agent M/s Khushi Electronics,Phone No.: 3200461.

                              Please see that the above complain is met personally by the electrolux engineer ,as we are facing the same problem repeatedly since three years in summers and cannot get cold water to drink.

                                Electrolux Make Model No. 235 Ozone Double Door

                                Dear Sir,

                                This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux Make (Model No. 235 Ozone) on 24.11.2004 from Lucknow City Service, Crossing Sarai Mali Khan (Near C.M.S.), Hardoi Road, Chowk, Lucknow and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been done by M/s Micron Care India Pvt. Ltd.(Authorized customer care point of Electrolux Kelvinator)B-11,Nirala Nagar,Lucknow.

                                Recently, the machine has been given to M/s Peripheral Services, 66-A, Virat Nagar, VIP Road, Alambagh, Lucknow. 5.Fab.2010 since the machine was not exhibiting proper cooling. Specially, the lower half was not at all functioning properly and as a result water was coming out from machine all the times. Since then, I have contacted so many times to your officials like Mr.Sandesh ([protected]). Mr. Sandeep Verma ([protected]) and Mr. Satendera ([protected]) and nobody have given satisfactory reply.

                                They have confessed that they cannot rectify the cooling arrangement form inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is done by M/s Peripheral Services But still maintained (No cooling properly and no ice freezing)

                                Meanwhile, I have been offer a proposal for replacement of (New Freeze) by paying some extra Money after deducting the depreciation amount in (five year) from the purchase price of Rs. 12000/- (Nov.2004). I am already given Rs. 7000/- for Repairing.
                                I am not ready to pay the balance amount even as the machine is a defective one form the day. So, kindly intervene and give your valuable advice immediately to your LUCKNOW OFFIC. Moreover, I am in terrible situation as my daughter is 4 year she always questioning why refrigerator is not working and I am passing on the summer days without refrigerator.

                                  two door electolux fridge — poor quality of fridge

                                  I have a electrolux two door fridge bought about 4 years back.
                                  The quality is no match to the earlier indian make that we had for almost three decades.
                                  In jan 08 the timer and sensors were replaced. Then in aug08, the gas had to be filled and again in nov08 the timer and sensors were to be placed. With in a couple of days the sensor and timer were again found to be defective and needed replacement. Thankfully they were replaced free of cost.Does that mean that the earlier replacement parts were defective.
                                  Even after all this the fridge is making lot of disturbing noice making us feel uneasy all the time.
                                  On top of all this, every time the complaint has to be lodged with the call center only even though the dealer had attended it only a couple of days and its a rework only.
                                  after loding the complaint with the customer care, it takes about 5-6 days and lot of reminders, before the dealer attends to the complaint.All this while we have to manage without the fridge being operational.
                                  Its disturbing that the international brand has no semblance of quality product and after sales service.
                                  It is true. Electrolux Kelvinator is a very poor quality product. Not getting proper after sales service. Once the service people comes for testing, they were demanding money/conveyance/service charges, etc. within the guarantee period. My refrigerator is not working for last two weeks and i have been complaining for the same for last two weeks and the person came for checking after 2 weeks said, that it is gas leak problem and they need Rs. 1500 plus conveyance of Rs. 500 to take the same to Trichur. He also said, after repairing there will not be any guarantee of lasting the same.

                                  Just see, what kind of consumer care they are providing. It is an irresponsible action from the part of company and its service centres. I advise the public dont go for ELECTROLUX-KELVINATOR any more. If you opted their products, you will be in trouble.

                                  Refrigerator — Refund of service charges Rs 1500.00

                                  I booked one complaint of Wirlpool Refregerator on 27 march 2010. Complaint no DL [protected]. The person took Rs 1500.00 and promised to repair in 2 days. But even after 10 days no response. I have been reminding them after every 2 days to refund my 1500.00 as they can not do this job...Till 19th April evening there is no response...
                                  I PURCHASED A ONE TON SPLIT A/C FROM FRIDGE HOUSE. WHICH IS SAMSUNG COOMPANY.
                                  FRIDGE HOUSE THRISSUR TEAM SENTING CRIMINAL PEOPLE FOR INSTALLATION OF THEIR DEALING PRODUCTS. THIS PEOPLE ASKING MORE MONEY FOR INSTALLATION AND BEHAVING IN A RUDE MANNER.DON'T GO THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THE POSTSALE SERVICE IS TOO BAD AND HARMFUL TO YOUR MIND AND BODY.
                                  I was at the Frige house's trichur showroom last year to get a Whirlpool top loading washer for my mom. I went to their store and they closed the sale for a new one based on the floor model they had. Next day they delivered the washer at my house. When I unboxed it I could find that they sold me the floor model and not a new one. Same evening i went back to store and not surprised to find the floor model missing. And the "smart" salesman says it was sold that morning.

                                  To KISS (Keep it simple and short) I said...lets not make it complicated. Take the washer back and refund. To my surprise, they just made a full refund including delivery charges... To this day... i dont understand what's their profit from this DEAL?

                                  So much for trusting the dealer, customers trust is taken for a ride. So...the moral - buyer beware... be extremely careful..i repeat...be extremely careful when you purchase gadgets and appliances across any dealer in kerala.
                                  Thank you all for your feedback postings ! I was about to decide on buying a new refrigerator from Fridge House and now I know this is one place where I should never step in !

                                  This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux make (Model No.285 FF DS888) on 26th OCTOBER’08 from elecronics super bazzar,baroda chowk, gohana-131301 and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been done by M/s. Millennium Service Centre (Authorized Service Centre of Electrolux Kelvinator), baroda Road, gohaqna 131301.

                                  Recently, the machine has been given to M/s. sushil kumar on 5th March’09 since the machine was not exhibiting proper cooling. Specially, the lower half was not at all functioning properly and as a result water was coming out from machine all the times. Since then, I have contacted so many times to your officials like Mr. sushil ([protected])& Mr. Niraj ([protected]) and nobody has given satisfactory reply.

                                  They have confessed that they cannot rectify the cooling arrangement from inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is totally non-conventional and the said proposal was rejected by undersigned.

                                  I am passing on the Summer days without refrigerator.

                                    Spinner not working
                                    I had purchased an Electrolux Fully Automatic Washing in 09.03.2008 from M/s Shivam Electronic cuttack,Orissa. The Washing Machine had manufacturing defect and I had to file a Consumer case against Electrolux and Dealer to replace the washing machine and Finaaly after a long battle it got replaced after 1 year on 03.03.2009, The washing amchine has 2 yrs of warranty and out of which 1 yrs was gone in consumer case and I had 1 year warranty left as told by the Company service engineer while delivering the washing machine at my home.
                                    Last week suddenly I found that the spinner is not rotating and its not squeezing also. Today i found out the Washing machine now is out of warranty and I am helpless because I have raised a complaint and no one has also attened the complain yet.

                                    Electrolux Washing Machine — No repairing done after 8 months

                                    I have benn a user of fully automaic washing machine for the last 10 years.Previously I was at calcullta , for the last one year i am at Satna (Madhya Pradesh). Around 8-9 months back my machine got a problem , then i called up local service centre of electrolux, the servicemen came and after looking the machine relied that a part is going to be changed and it has to ebe brought from indore. After regular follow up he didn't turned up again , tehreafter after 4-5 months back he came along with another person and replied that the part which he carried along iwth him, is infact, ok and anothet one is to be replaced, whcih agoain have to be called up from Indore. Now that issue is also 3-4 months back and he is not coming back or responding.

                                    I doubut where after so much harrasement whether if, at all, the machine is going to be repaired or?

                                    I had purchased an Electrolux Semi-Automatic Washing in June 2007 from M/s Standard Electricals, Chennai.
                                    Though the spinner is rotating it is not squeezing the water out of the clothes.

                                    I had purchased Electrolux washing machine model EW 1045 F in 26.4.2002 from viveks showroom in Bangalore. Now the problem is when the washing machine starts spinning, the door is immediately got opened itself and the washing machine itself got stop. I checked the support feet are resting firmly on the ground, distribution of the clothes inside the drum and also the load of the laundry. Everything is ok. But there is no positive results.

                                    i own an Electrolux washing machine model: EW 1045 F which i had bought on 28th february 2001 from Quilon radio Service Traders, Kollam, Kerala.I had been completely satsfied with the product and service so far but recently about a month back it started making a odd sound when the drum rotates as if it is scraping something when it rotates.I called the service centre and their man said the problem is with the needle bearing but they said they don't have the spare to replace it with.Initially they had assured me that they would get the spare from the company and repair it but later on they kept saying that the needle bearing reqiured to service my machine is not available and they would try to get it.But about a week back when i contacted them they said they have the needle bearing but they don't have the water seal which they say is also required to repair my washing machine.All this time they kept offering me to buy a new machine which honestly i can't afford to buy right now.Please look into my matter as soon as possible, i do not wish to replace my machine as i was completely satisfied with its performance till this problem arised.My contact number is [protected]

                                    Washing Machine Model Electrolux W/M EWE 702TCGO

                                    The above mentioned semi-automatic washing machine was purchased by me on February 16, 2007 from the Company's dealer Fair Deal Electronics, Rajapuri, Dwarka, vide their invoice no. R2958/06/07 for Rs.6800/-. The Machine was defective and sub-standard as it is evident from the fact that the first complaint was made just on the first day o[censored]se i.e. February 21, 2007.

                                    Since then I have lodged 14 complaints during the last 18 months and for the same complaint only. Not only the machine was of sub standard quality the customer service provided by your company was also far below from satisfactory level, as some of the complaints were attended more than a week after the date of complaint. Moreover, the dealer was least helpful.

                                    We tried to speak to some of the senior officials in the Company including Mr. Sanjay Jaitley on March 25, 2008, though they assured me of some solution to the problem but we have not received any positive result of the same.

                                    Now the Warranty period of 24 Months is going to expire soon, and after that I will be left with a machine on which I’ll have to spend my hard earned money virtually every month to ensure that it keeps on functioning.

                                    I purchased a washing machine Electrolux W.M. Classic 7-2 Sl.No.[protected]PNC[protected] on dated 20.07.2008. The problem of water leakage occured on 30.07.2008 i.e. only after 10 days. I lodged a complaint to authorised company workshop. They have repaired 4 times since then.

                                    Though the spinner is rotating it is not squeezing the water out of the clothes.

                                    i bought a electrolux washing machine from next retail shop on dec 29, 2008 but it stoped working on jan 22, i raised a complain against it on next date to customer service but from that day onwards they are ignoring me by giving so many excuses thet with 2 days it would by completed. but nothing has happened. pls advice.

                                    We are using ELECTROLUX washing m/c from last three years.Three month back rotor was not working and when we complained (complaint no.[protected] in electrolux in this context they send the service personnal in jaipur Mr.Shahnawaj ([protected]). He said that gear box of machine is not working so we have to chage it and i will change it tomorrow but he didnot come and when we contacted after two days he replied in very wrong manner that this part is not ready in our stock & I will replace it with in 10 days.After one month we contact again in company office then they replied that this part is not making by company these days so we can not repair your washing machine.Then we tried to contact the service head but the service guy was threatening that he can not do any help.Now what we have to do?

                                    If company like ELECTROLUX didnt have good service & its parts availability then one day ELECTROLUX will be out of market.I sincerely advice my friends & collegues not to buy ELECTROLUX.

                                    One electrolux washing machine was purchased on 3.11.2006 & now not working.Complaints lodged to Phone No[protected] repeatedly.On 13.08.09 one Technician (?) visited my place.On suspicion I asked for his Identity card of servicing company.But, the technician ran away by jumping my boundary wall.The matter was later reported to local police station.

                                    Suggestions:
                                    The servicing company should be advised to attend customers promptly& provide identity card.

                                    Hi,
                                    I have bought Electrolux Washing Machine in April 2011. I have registed my complain regarding washing machine is not working and found Motor needs to be replace before one month. I have called electolux call center for almost 20 times and taked 3 to 4 times with seniour executive but every time they have committed false or irresponsible answer. Even Service center are also not having attitude to talk with customer. It has taken 30 days eventhough having policy of replacing part within 7 days.
                                    I have requested them so many time but they are not having process in place to give proper answer to customer.
                                    my complain number is PAHM[protected] registed in Electrolux and as of now, they also saying more 10 days for this.
                                    Everytime they have committed some days but not happended for dispatch part like motor taking more than 30 days.

                                      In drawing herewith your kind attention for consideration of my claims, I would like to cite the following for your kind perusal: 1- That I had purchased a double door refrigerator of Electrolux Brand worth Rs 14,100/- on instalment from AABANS, Puri, on dt: 3.11.2004 and paid the full amount i.e., Rs 6000/- in cash as down payment vide their M/R no: 246 dt: 3.11.2004,(annexure-I) and 6 nos of periodical instalment cheque payment of Rs 8,600/- bearing Rs 1350/- each vide receipt no: nil dt: 3.11.2004. 2- That the User’s Manual guide reflects that the Warranty period of the Electrolux Kelvinator is 12 months and additional 48 months warranty period is sought for the COMPRESSOR. This indicates that the warranty period of the compressor of the refrigerator bearing Model no: EKP235FF extends up to 2.11.2009. 3- That as the compressor of the refrigerator became non- functional, I lodged a complaint in the Prabhu traders, Puri to which the messrs responded immediately and sent an expert who replaced the same on 25.3.2009 as the warranty period was still in vogue, and I was charged Rs 1286/-(Twelve Hundred and eighty six rupees only) for the same vide S.Tax Bill no: 185 dt: 25.3.2009 4- That after a few days from the date of repair the compressor became again defective and I lodged another complaint vide log in no: BB29A05002 Dt: 5.10.09 (again within warranty period)to which the service provider again responded and the compressor of the refrigerator was subjected to repair and delivered on dt:25.11.2009 for which I was charged Rs 2000/- vide Receipt no: 07 dt: 25.11.2009 5- The next day i.e. on 26.11.2009 the compressor became mal-functional and the upper section sometimes remained cool thereby giving an impression that it has probably attained normalcy. But the next moment it again became non-functional. When it gave the impression that it has become normal, valuable food products were put inside only to be found rotten the next day, thereby causing severe loss. 6- Although I have been contacting the service provider several times since then, yet no one paid heed to look into the problems. 7- Since the first day of the complaint made, the refrigerator has been functional only from 25.3.2009(Ist date of repair) till 5.10.2009, i.e., for 5 months and 10 days in irregular fashion i.e., some times it cooled while some other times it became non-functional. After 5.10.2009 the situation of the compressor became even worse. It was hard to predict whether the refrigerator was in working condition or not. Although the light of the lower section was on, yet it didn’t cool. But it gave an impression as if it was working. Hence, whatever food items were placed therein was found rotten the next day. 8- The last login date was on 26.11.2009 but there is no response to it. Again written complaint was sent to the concerned party through registered post. 9- Inspite of the replacement of the compressor at the Ist instance on 25.3.2009, it was not functioning properly. Sometimes, the cooling effect was much higher while some other time it became defunct. Such unpredictable malfunctioning of the refrigerator incurred great loss of costly food items till 05.10.09 Therefore, I would like to put forth the following claims against the COMPANY of Electrolux refrigerator with the reasons thereof: 1- Since 5.10.2009 till date, the refrigerator is lying due to damage of the compressor, thereby causing a loss of products worth Rs 200/- per days for more than 5 months till date. So, I have incurred a loss of Rs 30,000/- approximately till date in that connection. 2- The mechanics have replaced and repaired the compressor twice and charged Rs 1286/- at the Ist instance while Rs 2000/- on the IInd instance, which incurred a loss of Rs 32,86/-in total, in that regard. 3- I have also spent Rs 600/-against transportation of the refrigerator to and fro from my dwelling house to the workshop on both the occasions. 4- I have lost my valuable times for lodging complaint several times and had been to the workshop several times by means of different conveyances which incurred great lossof my precious time which could have yielded me lots of money otherwise, as I am having a private shop and assist my son in his real estate business after my retirement. 5- The entire scenario has given immense agony and physical and mental strain to me which incurred irreparable loss to me and my family members. Let no such private company take any lay man or ordinary customer for granted and put him in such mental agony any further. 6- Due to malfunctioning of the compressor, the rise and fall of temperature was not properly regulated manually since 25.3.2009 till 5.10.09, which incurred wastage of valuable foods approximately worth Rs 25,000/- within a period of 6 months. Therefore, I request your kind self to consider my claims and impart direction to the concerned company to do needful to compensate to the loss faced by me by both compensating me with the monetary loss of Rs 58,886/- in total and replacing the refrigerator with another new one and oblige.                                       electrolux -refrigrator — demand for charges in warranty period

                                      we puchased model on21/4/05. we were asked to pAY for visiting charges 400&sevice charges of 1250 for jammed compressor under warranty by dealer -cooling sales byculla(contact no 65278002/65278003/65278004.[protected]@rediffmail.com.please help harassed customer.

                                      Refrigerator — non functional

                                      We purchased an Electrlox refrigerator in May 2004. Since then this is giving us problems and we are unable to enjoy it services.
                                      Sometimes there is defroster not working, timer inoperational, compressor not cooling, etc etc
                                      Moreover the parts that have been replaced so many times are also defective. Since the service centre refuses to provide warranty on the parts, we are expected to pay every time the part is replaced even though they have replaced it only few months back.
                                      The service centres are also pathetic in service and are unable to attend to calls and send engineers on time

                                      Electrolux — Loss of warrrent

                                      I purchased TWO Electrolux Split air conditioners from Adash Electricals, Vepery Chennai, After comparing with all the dealers in my locality.
                                      After 5 months one unit was not working properly, so i called Electrolux beleiving this was a case of warrenty.
                                      Electrolux service representive arrived and after their preliminary examination found that the pipe line had cracked and the Freon has leaked, from their records they also pointed out that this unit was not installed by then so it was the warrent was Void.
                                      Now even after paying the price which included installation these Units were fixed by non-authorized persons by the dealer. Consequence Loss of Warrenty for TWO air conditioners.
                                      Now it was the peak of summer, left with no option after pleading and visiting the dealer everyday after 45 days and paying Rs 600/- the repair was done.
                                      I hope my experience prevents atleast one person from Aligators out there from cheating innocent citizen from lossing hard earned money and pease of mind.

                                        I own a Electrolux 1.5 Ton AC model name. Oxygen, sl. no.[protected] bought on 18.5.2008 from Kumra engg & elec works, dwarka, new delhi. There was a complaint verbally made to the dealer about the faulty fins in new piece, which was not taken care of & we unfortunately didn't made a fuss about it that time. Last year, in April end, when after 5 days & 3 reminders, some engineers from your one of your service partners Apollo, based out of somewhere around janak puri came & serviced it for usage. We checked the AC after few days & we noticed that they while servicing they have broken the air filter from side so we again lodged the complaint, number mentioned in the subject line. One engineer, Md. Aqil came on 11th may, 2009, from the same service agency & diagnosed the prob & told us that the filter shall be changed in a day or so. He also took 2 fins with him saying that they will also be replaced in a day or two along with the filter only. After that, we made numerous calls to him & the service manager of Apollo, Mr. Pradip, but nothing has happened in the whole last season & we thought that as we have made a mistake of buying this AC, we have to bear with all this lethargic nature of the service provider.

                                        Now, when we called some engineer to get it serviced for using in this season & because of our last 2 years experience, we decided not to rely on your service center, it has been found out that there has been some leakage due to some mishandling last year & the AC needs to go to the service center for complete servicing. This is more than enough for the mistake of trusting your service brand & unfortunately because of that, I again have to come back to you for the same.

                                        Can you PLEASE send someone to diagnose the problem & give us a solution.

                                        I would also appreciate if I can get some contact details of the service deptt of the OEM in gurgaon as the numbers provided in the booklet are not reachable. The mail which I sent on [protected]@vgmail.com has bounced back.
