we had rung to the electrolux customer service center (LAXMI SERVICE CENTER,NEAR M.S.LAW COLLEGE,STATION BAZAR,CUTTACK-3, PH.NO.-[protected]) and LP ELECTRONICS PVT.LTD, PH.NO.-[protected] but nobody has turned up yet.

i have complained since last month 19th but til now i have not got my ac done i am not at all satisfied with the services provided yet they are telling they need more time and i am going to them several times .

we bought electrolux ac before 4 years now camparisor was not working... contact no- [protected] - dhanaseelan.
i have bought electrolux window ac on 28th feb 2010 from kaydee electronics, sector-18 noida, now within7 months the remote of ac is not working and niether the panel on the ac. the ac is not working now and it is under warranty..i have given the complaint but nobody has turned up to solve this matter..i am really annoyed by this kind of casual approach towards the customers, i am again requesting you to please solve my problem as soon as possible.

    Dear Sir,
    We have purchased the electrolux refrigetor model No.DFF40 in 28 Jan'05.The fridge was working in good condition only for 2 years. After that every year the heater has to be changed and the fridge has to be sent to authorised service centre and after 5-7 days on payment of Rs.3000/- the fridge is back in good working condition.

    Now this year we have taken the annual maintenance contract (AMC) from M/s Tek Care India Pvt. Ltd.in Kanpur who is a service partner for electrolux. This year also the same problem of heater occurred in Jan'10 and the same was replaced by Tek care India at home only.

    On 6/4/10 the fridge was not working and complain was lodged vide No. LUC [protected]. This time the service engineer Mr.Amit has visited the site and inform that the sensor is not working. Till today nobody has changed and neither the phone is being received by their agent M/s Khushi Electronics,Phone No.: 3200461.

    Please see that the above complain is met personally by the electrolux engineer ,as we are facing the same problem repeatedly since three years in summers and cannot get cold water to drink.

      MOST URGENT

      Sub: Replacement of Refrigerator/ Repair
      Electrolux Make Model No. 235 Ozone Double Door

      Dear Sir,

      This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux Make (Model No. 235 Ozone) on 24.11.2004 from Lucknow City Service, Crossing Sarai Mali Khan (Near C.M.S.), Hardoi Road, Chowk, Lucknow and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been done by M/s Micron Care India Pvt. Ltd.(Authorized customer care point of Electrolux Kelvinator)B-11,Nirala Nagar,Lucknow.

      Recently, the machine has been given to M/s Peripheral Services, 66-A, Virat Nagar, VIP Road, Alambagh, Lucknow. 5.Fab.2010 since the machine was not exhibiting proper cooling. Specially, the lower half was not at all functioning properly and as a result water was coming out from machine all the times. Since then, I have contacted so many times to your officials like Mr.Sandesh ([protected]). Mr. Sandeep Verma ([protected]) and Mr. Satendera ([protected]) and nobody have given satisfactory reply.

      They have confessed that they cannot rectify the cooling arrangement form inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is done by M/s Peripheral Services But still maintained (No cooling properly and no ice freezing)

      Meanwhile, I have been offer a proposal for replacement of (New Freeze) by paying some extra Money after deducting the depreciation amount in (five year) from the purchase price of Rs. 12000/- (Nov.2004). I am already given Rs. 7000/- for Repairing.
      I am not ready to pay the balance amount even as the machine is a defective one form the day. So, kindly intervene and give your valuable advice immediately to your LUCKNOW OFFIC. Moreover, I am in terrible situation as my daughter is 4 year she always questioning why refrigerator is not working and I am passing on the summer days without refrigerator.

        my refrigertor is not working for last two weeks and i have been complaining for the same for last two weeks at thrissur dealer -FRIDGE HOUSE .but they are not responding to it.i am fed up .at the time of buy I did not expect such a irresponsiblity from such a ompany like ELECTROLUX-KELVINATOR.last two weeks we had no provision for cold water .very very very bad customer service

        two door electolux fridge — poor quality of fridge

        I have a electrolux two door fridge bought about 4 years back.
        The quality is no match to the earlier indian make that we had for almost three decades.
        In jan 08 the timer and sensors were replaced. Then in aug08, the gas had to be filled and again in nov08 the timer and sensors were to be placed. With in a couple of days the sensor and timer were again found to be defective and needed replacement. Thankfully they were replaced free of cost.Does that mean that the earlier replacement parts were defective.
        Even after all this the fridge is making lot of disturbing noice making us feel uneasy all the time.
        On top of all this, every time the complaint has to be lodged with the call center only even though the dealer had attended it only a couple of days and its a rework only.
        after loding the complaint with the customer care, it takes about 5-6 days and lot of reminders, before the dealer attends to the complaint.All this while we have to manage without the fridge being operational.
        Its disturbing that the international brand has no semblance of quality product and after sales service.
        It is true. Electrolux Kelvinator is a very poor quality product. Not getting proper after sales service. Once the service people comes for testing, they were demanding money/conveyance/service charges, etc. within the guarantee period. My refrigerator is not working for last two weeks and i have been complaining for the same for last two weeks and the person came for checking after 2 weeks said, that it is gas leak problem and they need Rs. 1500 plus conveyance of Rs. 500 to take the same to Trichur. He also said, after repairing there will not be any guarantee of lasting the same.

        Just see, what kind of consumer care they are providing. It is an irresponsible action from the part of company and its service centres. I advise the public dont go for ELECTROLUX-KELVINATOR any more. If you opted their products, you will be in trouble.

        Refrigerator — Refund of service charges Rs 1500.00

        I booked one complaint of Wirlpool Refregerator on 27 march 2010. Complaint no DL [protected]. The person took Rs 1500.00 and promised to repair in 2 days. But even after 10 days no response. I have been reminding them after every 2 days to refund my 1500.00 as they can not do this job...Till 19th April evening there is no response...
        I PURCHASED A ONE TON SPLIT A/C FROM FRIDGE HOUSE. WHICH IS SAMSUNG COOMPANY.
        FRIDGE HOUSE THRISSUR TEAM SENTING CRIMINAL PEOPLE FOR INSTALLATION OF THEIR DEALING PRODUCTS. THIS PEOPLE ASKING MORE MONEY FOR INSTALLATION AND BEHAVING IN A RUDE MANNER.DON'T GO THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THE POSTSALE SERVICE IS TOO BAD AND HARMFUL TO YOUR MIND AND BODY.
        I was at the Frige house's trichur showroom last year to get a Whirlpool top loading washer for my mom. I went to their store and they closed the sale for a new one based on the floor model they had. Next day they delivered the washer at my house. When I unboxed it I could find that they sold me the floor model and not a new one. Same evening i went back to store and not surprised to find the floor model missing. And the "smart" salesman says it was sold that morning.

        To KISS (Keep it simple and short) I said...lets not make it complicated. Take the washer back and refund. To my surprise, they just made a full refund including delivery charges... To this day... i dont understand what's their profit from this DEAL?

        So much for trusting the dealer, customers trust is taken for a ride. So...the moral - buyer beware... be extremely careful..i repeat...be extremely careful when you purchase gadgets and appliances across any dealer in kerala.
        Thank you all for your feedback postings ! I was about to decide on buying a new refrigerator from Fridge House and now I know this is one place where I should never step in !

        ELECTROLUX KELVINATOR — poor performance

        This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux make (Model No.285 FF DS888) on 26th OCTOBER’08 from elecronics super bazzar,baroda chowk, gohana-131301 and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, insulation problem, fan problem etc. and the servicing has been done by M/s. Millennium Service Centre (Authorized Service Centre of Electrolux Kelvinator), baroda Road, gohaqna 131301.

        Recently, the machine has been given to M/s. sushil kumar on 5th March’09 since the machine was not exhibiting proper cooling. Specially, the lower half was not at all functioning properly and as a result water was coming out from machine all the times. Since then, I have contacted so many times to your officials like Mr. sushil ([protected])& Mr. Niraj ([protected]) and nobody has given satisfactory reply.

        They have confessed that they cannot rectify the cooling arrangement from inside rather they proposed to install a condenser outside which is totally non-conventional and the said proposal was rejected by undersigned.

        I am passing on the Summer days without refrigerator.

        I was charged Rs. 5200/- for repairing of the fridge. Not given a receipt and also the fridge is still not working. Got cheated by the Service Centre.

          Spinner not working
          I had purchased an Electrolux Fully Automatic Washing in 09.03.2008 from M/s Shivam Electronic cuttack,Orissa. The Washing Machine had manufacturing defect and I had to file a Consumer case against Electrolux and Dealer to replace the washing machine and Finaaly after a long battle it got replaced after 1 year on 03.03.2009, The washing amchine has 2 yrs of warranty and out of which 1 yrs was gone in consumer case and I had 1 year warranty left as told by the Company service engineer while delivering the washing machine at my home.
          Last week suddenly I found that the spinner is not rotating and its not squeezing also. Today i found out the Washing machine now is out of warranty and I am helpless because I have raised a complaint and no one has also attened the complain yet.
          My complaint was through your Customer Service Cell over telephone.

          I hope my complaint would be attended to within a reasonable time and sorth this out .

          Electrolux Washing Machine — No repairing done after 8 months

          I have benn a user of fully automaic washing machine for the last 10 years.Previously I was at calcullta , for the last one year i am at Satna (Madhya Pradesh). Around 8-9 months back my machine got a problem , then i called up local service centre of electrolux, the servicemen came and after looking the machine relied that a part is going to be changed and it has to ebe brought from indore. After regular follow up he didn't turned up again , tehreafter after 4-5 months back he came along with another person and replied that the part which he carried along iwth him, is infact, ok and anothet one is to be replaced, whcih agoain have to be called up from Indore. Now that issue is also 3-4 months back and he is not coming back or responding.

          I doubut where after so much harrasement whether if, at all, the machine is going to be repaired or?

          I had purchased an Electrolux Semi-Automatic Washing in June 2007 from M/s Standard Electricals, Chennai.
          Though the spinner is rotating it is not squeezing the water out of the clothes.
          My complaint through your Customer Service Cell over telephone last time was attended to after 1 week and that too after following up with the Senior Officials for 3-4 days.
          I hope my complaint would be attended to within a reasonable time since it is within the warranty period.

          I had purchased Electrolux washing machine model EW 1045 F in 26.4.2002 from viveks showroom in Bangalore. Now the problem is when the washing machine starts spinning, the door is immediately got opened itself and the washing machine itself got stop. I checked the support feet are resting firmly on the ground, distribution of the clothes inside the drum and also the load of the laundry. Everything is ok. But there is no positive results.
          Give me some correct suggestions for this problem.

          I am also facing the same problm with the spinner and the complaint has not been attended so far despite numerous complaints with Mr SN Khan Manager Services. The Complaint unresolved till date.

          i own an Electrolux washing machine model: EW 1045 F which i had bought on 28th february 2001 from Quilon radio Service Traders, Kollam, Kerala.I had been completely satsfied with the product and service so far but recently about a month back it started making a odd sound when the drum rotates as if it is scraping something when it rotates.I called the service centre and their man said the problem is with the needle bearing but they said they don't have the spare to replace it with.Initially they had assured me that they would get the spare from the company and repair it but later on they kept saying that the needle bearing reqiured to service my machine is not available and they would try to get it.But about a week back when i contacted them they said they have the needle bearing but they don't have the water seal which they say is also required to repair my washing machine.All this time they kept offering me to buy a new machine which honestly i can't afford to buy right now.Please look into my matter as soon as possible, i do not wish to replace my machine as i was completely satisfied with its performance till this problem arised.My contact number is [protected]

          Washing Machine Model Electrolux W/M EWE 702TCGO

          The above mentioned semi-automatic washing machine was purchased by me on February 16, 2007 from the Company's dealer Fair Deal Electronics, Rajapuri, Dwarka, vide their invoice no. R2958/06/07 for Rs.6800/-. The Machine was defective and sub-standard as it is evident from the fact that the first complaint was made just on the first day o[censored]se i.e. February 21, 2007.

          Since then I have lodged 14 complaints during the last 18 months and for the same complaint only. Not only the machine was of sub standard quality the customer service provided by your company was also far below from satisfactory level, as some of the complaints were attended more than a week after the date of complaint. Moreover, the dealer was least helpful.

          We tried to speak to some of the senior officials in the Company including Mr. Sanjay Jaitley on March 25, 2008, though they assured me of some solution to the problem but we have not received any positive result of the same.

          Now the Warranty period of 24 Months is going to expire soon, and after that I will be left with a machine on which I’ll have to spend my hard earned money virtually every month to ensure that it keeps on functioning.

          Electrolux W.M. Classic 7-2 — Quality complaint of Washing Machine

          Sir,
          I purchased a washing machine Electrolux W.M. Classic 7-2 Sl.No.[protected]PNC[protected] on dated 20.07.2008. The problem of water leakage occured on 30.07.2008 i.e. only after 10 days. I lodged a complaint to authorised company workshop. They have repaired 4 times since then.
          I am very sorry to inform you that leakage of water from washing tub through drain pipe is still facing by me at the time of washing the cloths.
          You are therefore requested to please take necessary step to solve my problem at earliest.

          We are using ELECTROLUX washing m/c from last three years.Three month back rotor was not working and when we complained (complaint no.[protected] in electrolux in this context they send the service personnal in jaipur Mr.Shahnawaj ([protected]). He said that gear box of machine is not working so we have to chage it and i will change it tomorrow but he didnot come and when we contacted after two days he replied in very wrong manner that this part is not ready in our stock & I will replace it with in 10 days.After one month we contact again in company office then they replied that this part is not making by company these days so we can not repair your washing machine.Then we tried to contact the service head but the service guy was threatening that he can not do any help.Now what we have to do?

          If company like ELECTROLUX didnt have good service & its parts availability then one day ELECTROLUX will be out of market.I sincerely advice my friends & collegues not to buy ELECTROLUX.

          One electrolux washing machine was purchased on 3.11.2006 & now not working.Complaints lodged to Phone No[protected] repeatedly.On 13.08.09 one Technician (?) visited my place.On suspicion I asked for his Identity card of servicing company.But, the technician ran away by jumping my boundary wall.The matter was later reported to local police station.

          Suggestions:
          The servicing company should be advised to attend customers promptly& provide identity card.

          Electrolux Washing Machine — not provide service on time

          Hi,
          I have bought Electrolux Washing Machine in April 2011. I have registed my complain regarding washing machine is not working and found Motor needs to be replace before one month. I have called electolux call center for almost 20 times and taked 3 to 4 times with seniour executive but every time they have committed false or irresponsible answer. Even Service center are also not having attitude to talk with customer. It has taken 30 days eventhough having policy of replacing part within 7 days.
          I have requested them so many time but they are not having process in place to give proper answer to customer.
          my complain number is PAHM[protected] registed in Electrolux and as of now, they also saying more 10 days for this.
          Everytime they have committed some days but not happended for dispatch part like motor taking more than 30 days.

            In drawing herewith your kind attention for consideration of my claims, I would like to cite the following for your kind perusal: 1- That I had purchased a double door refrigerator of Electrolux Brand worth Rs 14,100/- on instalment from AABANS, Puri, on dt: 3.11.2004 and paid the full amount i.e., Rs 6000/- in cash as down payment vide their M/R no: 246 dt: 3.11.2004,(annexure-I) and 6 nos of periodical instalment cheque payment of Rs 8,600/- bearing Rs 1350/- each vide receipt no: nil dt: 3.11.2004. 2- That the User’s Manual guide reflects that the Warranty period of the Electrolux Kelvinator is 12 months and additional 48 months warranty period is sought for the COMPRESSOR. This indicates that the warranty period of the compressor of the refrigerator bearing Model no: EKP235FF extends up to 2.11.2009. 3- That as the compressor of the refrigerator became non- functional, I lodged a complaint in the Prabhu traders, Puri to which the messrs responded immediately and sent an expert who replaced the same on 25.3.2009 as the warranty period was still in vogue, and I was charged Rs 1286/-(Twelve Hundred and eighty six rupees only) for the same vide S.Tax Bill no: 185 dt: 25.3.2009 4- That after a few days from the date of repair the compressor became again defective and I lodged another complaint vide log in no: BB29A05002 Dt: 5.10.09 (again within warranty period)to which the service provider again responded and the compressor of the refrigerator was subjected to repair and delivered on dt:25.11.2009 for which I was charged Rs 2000/- vide Receipt no: 07 dt: 25.11.2009 5- The next day i.e. on 26.11.2009 the compressor became mal-functional and the upper section sometimes remained cool thereby giving an impression that it has probably attained normalcy. But the next moment it again became non-functional. When it gave the impression that it has become normal, valuable food products were put inside only to be found rotten the next day, thereby causing severe loss. 6- Although I have been contacting the service provider several times since then, yet no one paid heed to look into the problems. 7- Since the first day of the complaint made, the refrigerator has been functional only from 25.3.2009(Ist date of repair) till 5.10.2009, i.e., for 5 months and 10 days in irregular fashion i.e., some times it cooled while some other times it became non-functional. After 5.10.2009 the situation of the compressor became even worse. It was hard to predict whether the refrigerator was in working condition or not. Although the light of the lower section was on, yet it didn’t cool. But it gave an impression as if it was working. Hence, whatever food items were placed therein was found rotten the next day. 8- The last login date was on 26.11.2009 but there is no response to it. Again written complaint was sent to the concerned party through registered post. 9- Inspite of the replacement of the compressor at the Ist instance on 25.3.2009, it was not functioning properly. Sometimes, the cooling effect was much higher while some other time it became defunct. Such unpredictable malfunctioning of the refrigerator incurred great loss of costly food items till 05.10.09 Therefore, I would like to put forth the following claims against the COMPANY of Electrolux refrigerator with the reasons thereof: 1- Since 5.10.2009 till date, the refrigerator is lying due to damage of the compressor, thereby causing a loss of products worth Rs 200/- per days for more than 5 months till date. So, I have incurred a loss of Rs 30,000/- approximately till date in that connection. 2- The mechanics have replaced and repaired the compressor twice and charged Rs 1286/- at the Ist instance while Rs 2000/- on the IInd instance, which incurred a loss of Rs 32,86/-in total, in that regard. 3- I have also spent Rs 600/-against transportation of the refrigerator to and fro from my dwelling house to the workshop on both the occasions. 4- I have lost my valuable times for lodging complaint several times and had been to the workshop several times by means of different conveyances which incurred great lossof my precious time which could have yielded me lots of money otherwise, as I am having a private shop and assist my son in his real estate business after my retirement. 5- The entire scenario has given immense agony and physical and mental strain to me which incurred irreparable loss to me and my family members. Let no such private company take any lay man or ordinary customer for granted and put him in such mental agony any further. 6- Due to malfunctioning of the compressor, the rise and fall of temperature was not properly regulated manually since 25.3.2009 till 5.10.09, which incurred wastage of valuable foods approximately worth Rs 25,000/- within a period of 6 months. Therefore, I request your kind self to consider my claims and impart direction to the concerned company to do needful to compensate to the loss faced by me by both compensating me with the monetary loss of Rs 58,886/- in total and replacing the refrigerator with another new one and oblige.             electrolux -refrigrator — demand for charges in warranty period

            Refrigerator — non functional

            We purchased an Electrlox refrigerator in May 2004. Since then this is giving us problems and we are unable to enjoy it services.
            Sometimes there is defroster not working, timer inoperational, compressor not cooling, etc etc
            Moreover the parts that have been replaced so many times are also defective. Since the service centre refuses to provide warranty on the parts, we are expected to pay every time the part is replaced even though they have replaced it only few months back.
            The service centres are also pathetic in service and are unable to attend to calls and send engineers on time

            Electrolux — Loss of warrrent

            I purchased TWO Electrolux Split air conditioners from Adash Electricals, Vepery Chennai, After comparing with all the dealers in my locality.
            After 5 months one unit was not working properly, so i called Electrolux beleiving this was a case of warrenty.
            Electrolux service representive arrived and after their preliminary examination found that the pipe line had cracked and the Freon has leaked, from their records they also pointed out that this unit was not installed by then so it was the warrent was Void.
            Now even after paying the price which included installation these Units were fixed by non-authorized persons by the dealer. Consequence Loss of Warrenty for TWO air conditioners.
            Now it was the peak of summer, left with no option after pleading and visiting the dealer everyday after 45 days and paying Rs 600/- the repair was done.
            I hope my experience prevents atleast one person from Aligators out there from cheating innocent citizen from lossing hard earned money and pease of mind.

              I own a Electrolux 1.5 Ton AC model name. Oxygen, sl. no.[protected] bought on 18.5.2008 from Kumra engg & elec works, dwarka, new delhi. There was a complaint verbally made to the dealer about the faulty fins in new piece, which was not taken care of & we unfortunately didn't made a fuss about it that time. Last year, in April end, when after 5 days & 3 reminders, some engineers from your one of your service partners Apollo, based out of somewhere around janak puri came & serviced it for usage. We checked the AC after few days & we noticed that they while servicing they have broken the air filter from side so we again lodged the complaint, number mentioned in the subject line. One engineer, Md. Aqil came on 11th may, 2009, from the same service agency & diagnosed the prob & told us that the filter shall be changed in a day or so. He also took 2 fins with him saying that they will also be replaced in a day or two along with the filter only. After that, we made numerous calls to him & the service manager of Apollo, Mr. Pradip, but nothing has happened in the whole last season & we thought that as we have made a mistake of buying this AC, we have to bear with all this lethargic nature of the service provider.

              Now, when we called some engineer to get it serviced for using in this season & because of our last 2 years experience, we decided not to rely on your service center, it has been found out that there has been some leakage due to some mishandling last year & the AC needs to go to the service center for complete servicing. This is more than enough for the mistake of trusting your service brand & unfortunately because of that, I again have to come back to you for the same.

              Can you PLEASE send someone to diagnose the problem & give us a solution.

              I would also appreciate if I can get some contact details of the service deptt of the OEM in gurgaon as the numbers provided in the booklet are not reachable. The mail which I sent on [protected]@vgmail.com has bounced back.

                So what do you think to see the above table. what should I do with that machine.I am not mention the amount I pay transportation charge from my house to service center because I think that was understood. That table reflect the quality of your product and service. At last but not the least the huge amount of food item was spoiled due to your product. I hope you must consider my case.

                    This is for your kind information that I had purchased 445 liters a Electrolux refrigerator Model No. ER45FF from Vijay Sales in The Hub, Western Express Highway, Goregaon East, Mumbai, dated 25/05/2009. Exactly one month after the warranty period was over the refrigerator started giving me problems. It goes as follows:-

                    1. The refrigerator was not getting cooled effectively, so called the center and the sales person came and changed the TIMER. I ended up paying Rs. 3100.00 for the part and the service. Date 08/07/2009. Technician Mr. Zubair – mobile [protected].
                    2. It stared giving me problems immediately, my refrigerator turned into an ICE BOX, all the vegetables started becoming solid rock and water kept in the refrigerator shelves froze.
                    3. Called the service center again the person came and made some changes in the timer settings and left.
                    4. The problem continued this time placed a complaint and started maintaining the record,
                    Complaint placed – 9th September, 2009, Number MUM[protected], Sales person came and changed the Infrention ( sorry not able to read the parts name), I paid Rs. 400.00.
                    5. The problem persisted my tomatoes were rock solid, placed a complaint again on 16th September,
                    2009, Complaint Number MUM[protected], this time a senior person came and chaged a part called Temper for Rs. 1850.00.

                    Iam still left with the same problem, there is no follow up from the custromer service and Iam fed up of calling them, I call and tell them the details and ask them to send a more senior Executive they keep me on hold and the phone line gets disconnected, later the do n ot pick the phone. I

                    I NEED MY MONEY BACK FROM ELECTROLUX. SERVICE IS PATHETIC.

                    Let me add to this that Electrolux does not encourage customer email service. their site does not help you with an e mail id to get in touch with the company. This is sad and pathetic, does not work like a credible MNC.
                    I bought an Electrolux Refrigerator on 16th Nov 2009.The bill number is 8180.
                    Model - ER180
                    serial number[protected]

                    After one month from the date of purchase, the compressor produced over noise and has been changed with free of cost.

                    Again on 22 Nov 2011, the refrigerator has lost its cooling effect.
                    I called for the service.
                    The technician came and did something and charged Rs 1400.

                    Within two days(24th Nov'11) the refrigerator stopped its cooling effect.
                    Again i called for customer service. The same technician Karthik called us and inform that freezer has to be changed.

                    He didn't came in person, he didn't check the actual problem.
                    But he suggest to change the freezer over phone call.

                    From then, i have given so many complaints asking for senior technicians.

                    The complaint reference numbers are follows,

                    ECOM[protected] - 2nd Feb
                    ECOM[protected] - 7th Feb

                    The company is sending the same technician named Karthik.
                    His service was so poor that he could not found the actual problem in the refrigerator.
                    He came for first service on 22nd Nov 2011.He refilled the gas in the compressor and charged Rs 1400.

                    Within two days(24th Nov'11) the refrigerator stopped its cooling effect.
                    We called for the customer service.
                    Again the same technician Mr karthick came and suggest to change the freezer.Also he ask for extra money rs 1500.

                    He is not giving proper reason that why he didn't check the freezer when he came for the first service on 11th Nov.

                    Also he is not giving any assurance that the fridge will work after spending the Rs 1500.

                    So, how much money do i have to spend to make the fridge work?

                    I have made phone call to customer service many times asking for some senior technician. But no proper response.

                    From 24th Nov, the refrigerator is kept idle in my home.
                    It stopped working within two years of purchase. We lost all the hope that it will work again.

                    Is there any solution for this problem?
                    Will the company send some other technician who knows something about the hardware?

                      Dear Sir,
                      My Electrolux freeze model No.ERP245FF which was purchased on 29.03.05 from an authorized shop at Shillong is not freezing the food stuff since first part of December2009. As per instruction in the manual it was tried to set right but did not. It is to be mentioned here that just after of its purchase, the freeze went out of order for two/three consecutive days for unknown reason. The very fact was communicated to their office also. An engineer checked it but did not find anything wrong at that time. I have communicated number of times by e-mail to the Customer Care for the present defects but till date no action has been taken from their end. I have also contacted the dealer but they too are not so sincere about the complaint. They gave me a telephone number for contact instead of registering my complaint there. I have contacted accordingly and a mechanic came and told me to pay 1800/= to get it repaired although it is well within the warranty period. In this connection you are requested to go through the following one of my letters sent to the Customer Care which I think will give you a more clear picture on it.

                      “Dear Sir,
                      Please refer to my earlier e-mails regarding non-functioning of Eletrolux fridge. In this connection I would like to inform you that I have already sent several e-mails with details of the fridge, my address and mobile number to customer care which I feel is sufficient to act upon. However, the Customer Care is asking for complaint Number in their last two e-mails which I find very irrelevant since, I have sent my complaint through e-mail and that can be registered as a complaint from a customer and is permitted as per your manual. Your manual says that, “if the trouble shooting measure do not work, get in touch with your nearest Electrolux InstaService Centre (the after sales service network for all Electrolux brand in India like Electrolux, Kelvinator, Allwin, Electrolux Maxclean and Electrolux) or e-mail us at insta.[protected]@electrolux.com immediately. And relax. Electrolux InstaService with its network of 500 centre and 1500 personnel, is always there to take care of any problem that you might have in no time at all. With Electrolux Insta Service, quick service and reliability go without saying”.
                      In the last part of January 2010 I have sent an e-mail to the aforesaid e-mail address. But, seeing no reply from there I have approached to your other system of lodging complaint available in your website. I have already spent almost half a month making correspondence with Customer Care but to my utter dismay the matter stands as it was. May I know how long have I to wait for your engineer to come and make the fridge in order? Your immediate intervention in this matter is requested and will be highly appreciated. I would also like to draw your attention to the following immediate reply e-mail sent to me by the Customer Care as soon as I am sending an e-mail to your Customer Care:
                      “Thank you for sending us an email. We have received it and our team will revert back to you as early as possible”.
                      The language within inverted coma in the above paragraph which I presumed an automated reply and this type of correspondence is sure to despair your valuable customers. I earnestly hope I will not be given the scope to think that a world wide reputed Company like Eletrolux is negligent to its customer complaint.

                        this micro oven was given as a birthday gift by my brother in nov 2006. there was no recipe book given along with this model .i feel sorry as it remained just a heating product than using it to its full to make recipes. it remains a white elephant as even a simple papad gets burnt in the middle. so there remains a hesitation to use as there are no directions which we usually get from a recipe book .It would be highly appreciable if a recipe book is given for this model .

                          I have purchased, Electrolux Window AC from DIGI World in April, 2009.

                          In last week of Feb'10, I have received a call from Ms. Ruchi[protected] regarding AMC for Electrolux AC in behalf of TekCare india Pvt Ltd service partner of Videocon.

                          She told me to pay the amount Rs.1544/- to his executive for AMC (which includes 2 free service of AC). She has taken the appointment at 10-11 AM on 26th Feb for taking the amount for AMC.

                          But the executive Mr. Rajesh came next day on 27th feb and fill the form at my home put the product name "KENSTAR" asked my mother to pay 1655/- (not 1544/-) in the name of Tek Care India Pvt. Ltd. My mother paid him as he told. I was not at home that time.

                          From that day 27th Feb '10, I was requesting Ms. Ruchi and her colleague to resend him for returning the excess amount and altar the product description as Electrolux AC not Kenstar but till 5th March they were promising me to send the executive and from Saturday 6th March, they are not picking the phone from my number and from other number they disconnected the phone several times after knowing my name. Their shocking attitude towards their duties; gave me mental harassment and cost me lots of calls also.

                          How can this company provide me service when I need emergency repair of my product. The association of this company is also affecting the goodwill of Videocon.

                          So please suggest me the way to compensate all the money and mental loss from those guys.

                          Tekcare India Pvt Limited — Poor customer service

Their representatives came to my flat, disassembled the washing machine and took away the drum. It has been more than 2 months, and they are neither fixing the problem, nor returning the drum of the washing machine.

                            I purchased a Electrolux Kelvinator double door refrigerator Model 270 Luxury FF from a local dealer M/S. A-one Electronics, Maninagar, Ahmedabad on 28/02/2004. Registration No.[protected]. Somewhere in October 2009 it developed some problem and cooling stopped. I lodge a complaint to the company's help number. A person from local service center came to inspect and charged Rs.250/- for inspection. It was given to understand that the compressor was needed to be replaced. I consented for the replacement.                             Electrolux Kelvinator Ltd — Refrigerator not working

                            Dear sirs, I have purchased an electrolux refrigerator on 23.2.2008. After a month the unit was not cooling. After we made report a mechanic came from M/s Time & Service salkia howrah but he could not rectify the unit. Suddenly the unit started to function. No one from electrolux attended during this period. Now the unit has stopped working from 1st week of july & we did a complain vide no 6k[protected] the same person came & said he will report to office.                             Electrolux — NON FUNCTIONING OF THE UNIT

                            We have purchased 8 (EIGHT NOS) AC S through the dealer(the dealer has been introduced in the exhibition conducted at NIZAM GROUNDS MS DECCAN REFRIGERATION, Baghlingampally, Hyderabad.44, in the month of October, 08.
                            TWO AC S stopped working and we have given a complaint at ur Himayatnagar office on 13th april 2009, customer service centre and to the dealer.
                            The co. representative attended the AC S and informed that there are leakages through valves and there are unidentified holes in the valves fitted as they are purely co. manufacturing problem.In front o[censored]s only the representative telephoned and informed the co. EXECUTIVE OFFICER Mr.PANDE and the dealer. then the whole trouble started. the dealer is irresponsible in answering and informed us to go to CONSUMER COURT FOR THE DEFECTS IN THE MANUFACTURING AND THE DEALERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE.THE SAME THING HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO THE NOTICE OF mr.PANDE WHO IS LOOKING AFTER THESE MATTERS. HE HAS INFORMED THAT WHAT THE DEALER HAS TOLD IS CORRECT AND ASKED US TO GO CONSUMER COURT.
                            Dear SIR, we have paid our hard earned money to the company and the cos representatives as well as the dealers appointed by the company are playing games with the consumers. this is highly irresponsible on their part, sir u kindly understand our problem in this matter. THE AC S ARE REQUIRED IN THE HOT SEASON UR After sales service is worst and highhandedness. a day will come even for the consumers.we will get the best judgments if we go to consumer court.ur r deceiving the public. the products manufactured by u are not standard. now we are repenting for the purchase.

                            Electrolux Kelvinator Ltd — Bad Product & Service Quality

                            Sub : Repair/Replacement of Refrigerator

                            Electrolux Make Model No.ERP245FF Double door (Serial#[protected]

                            Dear Sir,

                            This is to draw your kind attention that I had purchased a Refrigerator of Electrolux make (Model No.ERP245FF) on 5th May’07 from ‘Next’ showroom, New Sanganer road (near Lazeez) sodala, Jaipur-302019 and since then this machine has been giving trouble like, improper cooling, Making loud banging noise etc. We called up the NEXT showroom manager who inturn sent the company service tech to check the machine. Company tech inspected the machine and informed us that it is usual for this Fridge to make such noise (intermittently like someone has banged on it with a hammer), he told us to increase the cooling from thermostat, we believed him and kept using the machine.

                            On 7th Dec 2007, barely 6 months after purchase, the fridge stopped cooling completely. On calling NEXT, they referred us to the Electrolux Service station, who sent a repairman after we called them at least a dozen times. We were informed that the compressor has gone bad and they would need to take it to service center and fix it. We rcvd the fridge back after a week. On 7th Feb 2008, exactly after 2 months, the fridge stops cooling again, we made a complaint to the service center, again the compressor was repaired which lasted a month & the whole ordeal of complaints and calls started again. I requested the service manager to replace the machine as the machine was faulty, maybe had a manufacturing defect because of which it was failing compressors after every repair… but they refused.

                            Fridge stopped cooling again on 24th Dec, 08, same issue, compressor went bad again. The ordeal went on for almost 4 months, while we lived without a fridge, as the service center refused to fix it under warranty, claiming that the warranty has expired. On escalating the matter to regional service manager, they finally fixed the fridge, however it went bad again on 10th Jul 10 approx 14 months later.



                            I request you to look into this issue and help me get a exchange for this ‘Lemon’ (defective) piece of machine. The list of complaints (see complaint numbers with dates below) & issues I had from this Fridge proves the fact that this was a fridge with manufacturing defect & hence the company should take the responsibility and either fix it for good (which has been tried many times now) or replace it with another machine or I would have no other option but to approach consumer court for help.

                              We purchased Allwyn Infinity210 Ltrs vide Bill No. 248 dt 27.6.04 from your authorised dealer M/s Vinod Kumar Pawan Kumar (HUF), Pilani. The refrigerator has been giving lot of problem since the very begining. The main body of the Refrigerator has a crack from the very first day which is manufacturing defect and the fact was brought to the knowledge of the dealer who assured but nothing has been delivered so far. Secondly, the lid of the 'freezer' got uprooted long back and its replacement is not available in the market. Pls arrange to send the lid on payment basis. Handle is also broken. Light indicating 'defrost' is also out of order. Submitted for your immediate necessary action at your end.

                                Service Dealer- Peral Home Care, Dwarka Sector-7 is not able to rectify the problems in refrigerator since Oct-2008. infact they took our regrigerator to their service center and got it back in a dilapidated condition. Infact, the legs to the refrigerator were missing, replaced the big compressor with a small one and there were lot of scratches in the inside of the body. Attached a new gas pipe by piercing the body, due to which the water flows on the floor through out the day causing a lot of trouble.Charged about Rs.2,500, but the problem is still persisting. After experiencing this shocking diplay of after sales service, I think I will not buy a electrolux/ kelvinator product in my life again. And i am forced to move to a legal forum for protecting my rights.

                                Looking forward to your help before moving to the legal forum!

                                  I had purchased an Electrolux Refrigerator (Model ERP 285 FF double door) from M/s. KD Audiovisions Pvt. Ltd. Noida on 6th May 2005 vide Invoice No. 64061 dt. 06/05/05. In first week of January'10, We have observed very low/no cooling in the lower compartment of the refrigerator. I have lodged complaints with your customer care no. [protected] on three times and the engineer has visited us 4 times during the last 1 month , changed two parts and my problem is STILL UNRESOLVED. I am giving below the details for your reference.

                                  1) I have lodged my first complaint on 6th January '10 vide complaint No. GHA[protected]. On 7th January '10 one service engineer called Mr. Sumit from M/s. Hi-Tech Services, B-14, Sector-64 Noida visited us and after investigation( and melted the ICE on the cooling coil) told us that the problem is solved and charged Rs. 337/- as service charges vide their invoice No. 7209 dt. 7/1/10.

                                  2) The refrigerator has started giving the same problem after 10-12 days and I have lodged my 2nd complaint on 21st January 10 vide complaint No. GHA[protected]. On 23r January the same person visited us and changed one part called Defrost Timer saying that the Defrost Timer is faulty due to which the automatic defrost function is not working and in turn ice is getting formed on the cooling coil which is the reason for no cooling in the lower compartment. This time he has charged Rs. 750/- vide invoice No.7227 dt.23/1/10 as cost of replacement of Defrost Timer.

                                  3) After 5-6 days the same problem started again and I lodged my 3rd complaint on 30th January '10 vide complaint No. GHA[protected]. 3rd time the same person Mr. Sumeet from Hi-Tech services visited us on 31st Jan '10 and after his investigation he informed us that one part called Bi - Metal near the cooling coil is faulty due to which electricity is not being supplied to the heater installed near the cooling coil during the defrost mode and needs replacement. Since he was not carrying the part with him he visited us the 4th time on 2nd February '10 and replaced Bi-Metal and charged Rs. 250/- vide invoice No.7236 dt.2/2/10 as cost of replacement of Bi-Metal.

                                  4) Now, the Refrigerator has started giving no cooling since yesterday morning and I have lodged my 4th complaint on 9th February vide complaint No. GHA[protected]. On my 4th complaint, the same person called Sumit from the same service dealer visited us on 10th Feb and did the same check-ups and told us to observe the refrigerator for two days and tell him whether any improvement. We have observed the fridge for 24 hours and there is no cooling in the lower compartment and informed the service engineer and requested him to either take help of his seniors or escalate the same to the company.

                                  The compressor is continuously working round the clock except 5 minutes after every 7 hours i.e. the defrost mode. We fear due to continuous working the compressor (which is still under warranty )may get damaged. Also due to continuous working, the electricity consumption has increased by 120 units than it should have been in last one month.

                                  Here, I would like to draw your kind attention to the fact that the service engineer has visited us 4 times within 4 weeks time and still he could neither diagnose the problem nor he could resolve it. He is just changing the parts one by one on a hit and trial basis which casts doubt on his competency as a service engineer. I was present with him during his two visits and the way the person works is worst than a roadside mechanic. Also the company who is handling the service seems to be totally unprofessional as the engineer does not carry minimum spares with him based on the nature of complaint he received.

                                  Also, the engineer has mentioned that the service charge he has taken from us is valid for only 1 month and he will charge the same again if I lodge a complaint after 1 month. I could not understand that why should I pay him the service charge again for an unresolved complaint even though it more than 1 month? It is the incompetency of the person that he could not resolve the complaint in 4 weeks time and after 4 visits. If I lodge a complaint for any other problem other than the above I can pay service charge but I won't pay any more service charge for this complaint.

                                  I have written my above complaint to the e-mail ID [protected]@vgservice.in given by the call centre guy who has attended my complaint. So far I have not received any feed back from the concerned.

                                  I request any company official who read this mail may please respond and initiate a speedy redressal of my complaint or I think I will have to move to the consumer court against the company for selling poor quality of product and poor after sales service.

                                  global service mr.malay since not giving poroper reply or nobody coming for see what is problem and nt can we do we are think now we sale refrigarator and buy another product never kelvinator mr, malay said we are very busy if they busy then why company give him service authority ?
                                  what can we do? he also not answaring in moble? what we will do?
                                  We have purchased Eletrolux in Sep, 2005 and we are facing same problem today ie 17th April, 2010. There is no cooling in the lower compartment though upper one seem to function right.
                                  We have called one servuce engineer who is changing bi-metal and is charging us 500 rupees for the same. By the above mentioned problem, it seems that this might not solve the problem.

                                  Can someone from Electrolux state why refrigerator gives this problem after 5 years and what needs to be done to correct this?

If such a reputated company will do like this, who will believe. This was a very bad experience to us and as such we will never promote anyone to buy electrolux products.

                                  We feel that the company should look into the matter and provide us a solution as soon as possible and if the service center has charged us wrongly then a refund should b made to us.



                                  I don’t understand, how come the product of such a reputed international company’s product gets defected within such a short time and then asked to pay again and again and the lesson of guarantee is taught to the customer.                                     I had purchased Electrolux double door refrigerator from Next Retail 4 years ago. I faced some minor cooling issues 5 months ago and so called the Videocon Customer Service for assistance. Since that time the issue stays unresolved with every week or two I have to call the service centre. The complaint no's are GUR[protected], GUR[protected], GUR[protected]

                                    During the first service, they had taken by refrigerator to service centre stating that the problem will be fully resolved only if we take it to the workshop. I agreed to it but after that I have been facing problem continuously. I think that they changed the original parts of my refrigerator with duplicate one.

                                    Even after my repeated complaints made by calling the Videocon Customer Service, I have not received a satisfactory response. When I informed the service engineer that why should I pay every month, he says the problem is with different parts of the refrigerator.

                                    My question is, how can we have problem with different parts only after my first service?

                                    I never had any issues with this refrigerator in last 4 years. After I sent the refrigerater to service centre for repair did I start having recurring problem.

                                    Please suggest on suitable course of action. I am feeling cheated by service engineers.
                                    It may not be a fault of the company but service engineers are doing this to make money out of it.

I faced problem in my dried from one month so called the Videocon Customer Service for assistance. I had already buy the AMC plan of company in august 2010 wide HCP no. 80551 in this plan company says to us that during this plan if your machine have occuring any problem company will repair it without take any service charge. I caleed may times to Mr. Vishal bansal which head of electrolux department but there was no response


                                    Please suggest on suitable course of action. I am feeling cheated by service engineers.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is to bring to your notice that, we had a problem with Electrolux Kelvinator drier door. Believing the company's service (Biggest mistake of mylife), I contacted them to get it repaired. I called the customer care and got an appointment fixed. The service technician(Wajid-) informed that the door had to be replaced.

                                      He comes back after 4 days with a duplicate door and fixed to the washing machine. Collected 700/- (500 for 3x3" door and 200 service charge)for the door and didnt even give the receipt of the door informing that, the bill has to be generated once the issue is confirmed as resolved.

                                      It wasn't working. We informed the same to the service technician who didnt bother to come-up and check. After 2 weeks, he didnt receive the call. Spoke to regional manager but of no use. 3/4 techs and senior tech have come and gone back staing that, they would come back next day, but its been 2 months and still the issue stands unresolved.

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,
                                        I purchased a Electrolux Microwave oven three years back from Military Canteen through my father in Law, who is a retd. Army Officer and now I am staying in Guwahati, Assam. Six months back the oven stop working (Not powered on). I wrote to Electolux asking for authorised dealer in Guwahati. Accordingly I took my oven to Harsa Electronics, NILOY, House No. 26, Near Hatigarh Charali, Guwahati-21, Phone - [protected], on 19/11/2009. They identified it as PCB Problem and handed it over to their technician Mr. Gautam on 25/11/2009.
                                        After nearly 2 months they informed me that the oven is repaired and I brought it back after paying Rs. 750/-. I could not test it that day because their technician was not present. After bring back home, I found that the oven is not working and I informed them and asked them to send their technician for repair, but till now no response from them.
                                        So sir, I request you to took into the matter and suggest.

                                        ELECTROLUX MICROWAVE OVEN — Door not closing

                                        I had complained about the electrolux microwave which was bought from House Full, in April 2008. In Dec, while opening the door, the knob just came out and now it is NOY closing. I compalined to their call centre 39404040 and I was givne a no PUN[protected]. After persistant calling, one yogesh came to attend to it and he said that he would get the door fixed in a week time. Since I was going out of station during the last week of Dec. I told him to contact me on 3rdJan 2009 Now he tells me to contact the dealer. I called the dealer numerous time. Since I did not get any response, I once again approached the call centre and I was shocked to hear that my complaint has been attended to and the call has been closed. The service sucks and so pathetic. I still feel that India is still in dark ages as far as service is concerned. How can I get it resolved?
