Hi Sir. I am facing issue with Elica Hob. I purchased this product on 3rd March 2023. From the next day i have issues with auto ignition. I have made more than 10 complaints. My issue is not resolved. Now my utensils are getting blac with smoke. The service engineers are not good. Every time tjey come and do temporary fix and go away. Iwant my issues to be fixed

We purchased a chimney in April 2022. It was not in use for the first 6 months as our house was under construction and we moved in only by Oct 2022 only after which we started using the chimney. Faced an issue few months back where the chimney did not work and the service technician came and informed that the capacitor had gone bad and it needed replacement. We had to pay out of pocket even though the product was inside 1 year. Now, since last week chimney stopped working and this time the service technician is saying that the fuse has blown and is asking us to replace the full PCB for a fuse issue which will cost 2500 rupees. I am terribly disappointed with Elica, their products are not worth our money. We haven’t used the products even for one full year but there are always some issues coming over after the other.

In November itself, there was the wiring issue detected. The whole wiring was replaced in the 1st month o[censored]sage.

Since then two times leakage was detected, there were chances of fire in the house. I detected at right time.
The grease in two knobs got dried in the initial months itself. I had to replace it.

Every know and then the auto sparks dont work. some of the the knobs get hard.

I am almost calling elica guys twice a month for some of the issues. Sometimes knobs are not working, sometimes spark issue, some times leakage issue.

Now again last two days, top burner is not working since the knob got stuck. There are spark issues in two of the burners since last 15 days.

I think, elica guys are fooling customers and selling the useless products that are very high maintenance.

I look for the replacement of the Hob. Because I feel, once the warranty will get over, i will be spending huge money for the repairs of this faulty Hob.

Such a waste product .

It’s been more than 25 days. My glass of chula has been broken and they are not ready to provide me a new class. The company has given me an old and used Chula in a very bad condition to use. highly disappointed with company‘s policy. My Gas is in warranty and its been just one month I have purchased it.

First incident 26/05/2023:
Got the fresh chimney and the technician came for installation. When he was installing we noticed the middle glass is not properly aligned. We raised the issue to the installation guy, he didnt bother to take it back. We requested the showroom back to back for 3 days to send a technician to remove it.

Second incident 01/06/2023
Got the replacement chimney and this time the product seemed to be refurbished. All the 3 glasses had several scratches but the alignment was good but it is not in acceptable condition. So we rejected the item and they have taken it back.

We are getting a feeling that the particular showroom sells only defective products and push them to the customers. After going behind such a big brand we are facing continuous disappointment.

I request a complete refund so that I can go for a better brand and better product. Have attached the pictures for your reference.

From the beginning it has been leaking and lights up with a blast as too much gas is gushing out,
Everytime the service person assures that this time it will be ok. I think he is just waiting for the guarantee period to be over. Sometime there may be a serious accident. The hob needs to be replaced to avoid serious accidents and claims
due to the manufacturing defect of the hob.

I bought the Hob from the authorized dealer Rajendra Marketing and Services Ambala Cantt 133001 Haryana on 9 Sep 2022

Since the beginning, when you ignite it, it gives a big blast, The technician has visited 3 times and always assures that it will not re occur. I think they are just waiting for the warranty period to pass . The company should replace the hob as it is a life treatening problem and sometimes there may be a big fire. It is an advance intimation to all the company officials who will later on refuse to have any knowledge in the event of an
accident

The gas gushes out of the burners at a very high speed in an uncontrolled manner.

In the march 2023 month contacted service help line and opted for deep cleaning of chimney at hyderabad which is a paid service.
elica has raised ticket with some service contractor and inturn service person perform the said service and left.
next day after that service we found that smoke is not completely blown out.
when we verified the chimney duct, it was observed that duct has no closing lid. it can be guessed that during previous day cleaning by service agent the duct lid might have fallen out.
so for fixing the issue of 'smoke not blowing out', contacted elica service centre and they said it will be a paid service (as 15days crossed from previous service payment date)
so elica has raised ticket with some service provider at hyderabad and service person says alls well by checking with burning incandescent stick with. hence we have demonstrated by using frying pan for understanding of the service person.
any how got fixed the duct with lid of inappropriate size available with the service person. he taken the payment & left without proper fixing
then again called him and he says to call his supervisor where as superviosr says he is busy will call back. that call back did not reach me till now and the issue "smoke not blowing out' not resolved.
contacted your regional GM sales also, no efforts for resolution and Issue still persists.
how did you make your service agreements with local service providers when they are deficient to have required technical competencies and unable to resolve the issues

We have purchased elica chimney on 09/07/2022.oil leakage issue there after 15 days, but still no service provided by elica company.i want to change my chimney.

After buying 41000 Rs chimney and gas stove, they can't even provide a duct . Usually whenever u buy any electronic product for eg. AC the company usually states that after a certain metre you will have to pay for the extra metre of wire. While buying elica they said us that after 5ft u will have to pay for extra duct. But while installation they told us that no u need to pay 1500 for the whole duct. This didn't even include the installation...

We got this elica chimney in September 2020 so not that long ago. It was a beautiful one with glass outer and has been working fine till last week. We were in the kitchen in the morning doing our daily routine. We left the kitchen just 5 minutes ago. We suddenly heard a noise and when we came back, we saw the chimney glass blasted. It was absolutely shocking. It was broken into pieces and felt like a bomb exploded. The pieces were everywhere. Had we been in the kitchen, they could have gone in our eye, head, face everywhere. It was absolutely life threatening. The agents who came to check could not identify the source. It's not at all favourable. This could have been a serious life threat if we had not left the kitchen and a bizzare situation. This will not be tolerated and we are highly concerned about our safety when using such products. This is not how appliances are supposed to be and totally unacceptable. We need a strict action taken against it otherwise we will be forced to take an action ourselves. If needed, we can share additional photos and documents

Very poor product quality as it got delivered with a defective product. One of the burners was not functional due to a sensor issue as told to me. The second technician who visited also gave up stating that this is a new product and he will escalate the issue. Very frustrated and agonised with their customer service and no sensitivity to customer complaints.

Very surprising that the "Elica HOB Classic Flexi FB MF 4B 70 MT" purchased on 5th Jan, 2021 from Vijay Sales Mumbai vide Invoice no.BGD-A-S140844 for Rs. 25, 700/-.

I was under impression that the product was very good but before 2yrs we disappointed due to Glass broke down and while replacing it is found that the below part was fully rusted which we never thought.

I tried to reach out customer service to raise a complaint for issue with my hob, one of valve of burner is in bad condition releasing gas enormously, which can cause accident at any time but customer support Executive didn't listen the problem and ask me to visit nearest branch, I can't move to any place to rectify this issue but she didn't listen and hung up the call, please help me where and how I can raise my issue to resolve thisahot
