I had bought a Elica Flat glass 60 LTW chimney TH10002537 from CGR Enterprises, Bangalore in Oct 2010.
The chimney came with a lifetime warranty and value back benefit manual that very clearly states "visits made by co technician for product assistance for an initial period of one year from date of purchase of product would be free"
Last week (Sep first week) the bulbs of the chimney were not working.The technician visited on 08.09.2011. There was loose connection which was rectified and there was no replacement of spares.

I was charged Rs.200- for site visit, whereas it should have been a free visit.

The service request no lodged on 05.09.2011 was 4636 and the company representative told me over phone that the visit charge was payable even during the warranty period.
This is in blatant violation of what their manual states and the terms of sale.
On what basis is this amount being charged? Is it the case with all the buyers ? If so, then why is the misleading information at the time of sale?
I sent an email to the customer support a week ago . Still no response from the company.
Probably should stay away from Elica if you expect after sales service and any response from the company at all.

I bought chimney and stove from Elica 3 months back. Installed it, but yet to use. The installation was incomplete and I need to chase up the dealer so much to finish the installation. I was asked to call service and when I did, I was told that for coming from Sarjapur to Yelahanka, I have to pay transport charges. Where in the world you are required to pay for some one to come and service a product under warranty? When I bough the product I was expecting good service from a multi national company, but very disappointed with them. On top of it the service desk was supposed to come back the following day when I asked them why I should pay for transport, they indicated that they will come back the following day and it is more than 2 weeks since they promised.
I 100% agree to the comment made by the customer of bangalore.. We purchased a cooktop of elica in Nov 2011. In Nov end 2012 the two burners got damaged. Knob broken ?????...Actually we are only 2 in our home and cook only twice in a day. Not that much o[censored]sage of that cooktop. But still we were ready to pay the replacement charges & spares as it has beyond the warranty period. We have bugged off calling Elica for service.There was a very very poor response from them, after a drastical followup they have replaced one burner with service and they have charged around 500/- Now we are begging to service the cooktop as again the cooktop flames are not coming properly. last time we asked the service engineer why it is happening like this he simpy told that these cooktops are made like this only.

So people do not go for ELICA BRANDS...and waste your hard earned money.

      Elica World's No. 1 Company, is also No. 1 in after Sales services. Do choose and enjoy the world class product with excellent services.
      I have bought Flat Glass model from Sampanna- bangalore, had gone there to buy Faber brand, but when the sales person has given the comparisation of product, feature, suction, noise level and then finally prices, i have to give second thought to my decision. Finally i have given a bet to my decision and bought a product of Newly launched Company.
      But folk, i m happy with my decision, coz the noise level in compare to other product is very silent, in 1st or 2nd speed, you will not find that the prd is running (please chk personal demo. to verify my statement) and on 3rd speed, its zoooom, what a speed.Great man. Service guy came, gvn demo. and cleaning tips, (i was well aware abt, but yes few points were very good).
      Last but not least, Very good World class product with reasonable price range with lots of variety.
      Do buy and try.

        We bought Elica Gas Oven & Cimney less than an year ago from an exibition at Hitex near Hi-Tech City at Hyderbad with lot of promises but we are experiencing the worst ever service provided by the Elica Service technicians they could not repair Auto Ignition Switch for the Gas Oven which found faulty within a week of purchase ...now after 6 months Chimeny has also started noising too much with some weird sound inside, for suction the level 1 does not work ...if we change to level 2 the noise is too much and the weird sound will start. when we call the dealer he says call service center and the service center guys never picks up the call or they give false promises like someone will be there in 24 Hrs or 48 Hrs ...Not sure if this complian can help me ...but definitely it can help others never ever go for this Product from Elica..

          Dear sir,

          We had purchased model glace 90 chimney of brand make elica, from exhibition held at chennai trade centre
          on 15-01-11. i had made up my mind to but faber castle chimney only, but on visiting the stall of elica, the MD of the company convinced me regarding the quality , service and other aspects. so i booked both the chimney and stove.

          i received the goods after nearly following up 10 times with them, as they were not having stock. on receipt
          of the same, the technician came for installation and found the glass fully broken in transit. he took the
          photos and said he will make the replacement within 2 weeks maximum. i have been following up with them
          regarding this from past one month, and there is no response . the marketing head who commited the replacement, is not attending my calls. i dont know whether i will get the replacment or not. the delivery
          is so poor, how will the service part be.

          i am cursing myself for taking decision of buying elica make chimney.

          I have contacted Elica customer care in Bangalore umpteen times, but given false promises and commitments each time. I am following up since 5 May and till today, no action has been taken.

          Is this the customer service Elica boasts off?

          If this is the situation of the Company like Elica they have to loose customer confidence with no time. My question is what Elica management has taken action to comply this grievances? They will not only loose Indian market as well as China Market too they are looking for. Now in this small world they will damage there image too. I wish Elica will certainly look for it. Frankly speaking, I was planning to buy Elica chimney but...

            After seeing the Advertisement in Newspaper which has offer i bought Two Elica Slider Chimney on 18/10/2010. When Indirapuram, Ghaziabad dealer visited our place i talked him about the offers and he told me that
            1. with every purchase we get scratch card
            2. i will get 3 piece non stick set with purchase of worth Rs 21000/- and more.
            And nothing is mentioned on advertisement for which models these offers are valid or not, so we have to reply on Elica representative words and I did the same.
            The deal is finalized and I paid additional charges for installation and material to be used for installation like flexi pipe, pipe cap and I got a commitment that I will get two scratch cards and one 3 piece non stick set. This is the start of endless communication that i have done till to get assured gifts, scratch cards and get my installation completed.

            1. INCOMPLETE INSTALLATION - Out of two chimneys, installation engineer had installed pipe cap (used to protect unwanted entries of birds and foreign particle in exhaust pipe) only for one chimney that too after repeated communication. I am still waiting for second cap and i am not getting any proper response from Dealer and Elica customer centre. THIS SHOWS HOW ELICA LISTENS TO THEIR CUSTOMER QUERIES.

            2. FALSE PROMOTION AND WRONG COMMITMENT – Till now I made numerous calls to dealer office for my scratch and every time I got a response that company hadn’t provided them. Yesterday 27th December finally I called up Elica office Pune and also written a mail to them ([protected]@elica.in) stating everything and today I got a reply that my chimney models are not covered under scratch card offer i.e. “Aab Har Koi Jeetega” scheme. This is SURELY A FRAUD !!!!!!. FALSE PROMOTIONS IS USED TO ATTRACT CUSTOMER . I had given false COMMITMENT and customer can’t done anything.

            3. CUSTOMER TREATEMENT –I made numerous calls to dealer office for my 3 piece non stick and after more than month dealer told me that gift is ready. But they refused deliver at my doorstep and ask me to get it collected from their office. Ideally it’s an Company responsibility to delivers good at customer ends if it ordered for home.
            Going for Elica brand is my biggest mistake and will not recommend for anyone. I know my grievances will not be listened in any of the forum.
            ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE TO SAY, PLEASE BEWARE OF FALSE COMMITEMENT AND PROMOTIONS AND DON’T PAY FULL PAYMENT TILL YOU GET WHAT HAS BEEN COMMITED TO YOU.

            With ref. to the concern, i do not agree that a company who has launched a scheme for customer, will back off by not providing the same to customer. Its hardly a matter for a company to offer Two Scratch Card and One Non stick cookware set as claimed in your mail.

            In reality, may be the scheme was not pertaining to the products purchased by you, or the duration of that said scheme was over, hence you were not benefited.

            Please understand that, dealer is there to sell the product, and he will expect you to come back again for another purchase from him only, hence he will not let you get angry with him. In regards to the Company, no MNC will try to do such mischiefs in the market, pl. consider the cost of non stick and gift majorily offer under the scheme.
            I have experienced the same with LG Company, after complaining i have got the scratch card from Company, however after scratching the card, the price i won was " better luck next time", hence what a point wasting my time behind it.

            Sirs,

            We bought Elica Curve 4B 65S hob & Glace chimney (from Puttenahalli store in Bangalore) in the month of March 2011, installed in the month of April.

            However there are few defects that we have noticed:

            1. The duct of the chimney is dented. We could not notice these dents earlier as it was given to us packed and wrapped in a paper on it. I would appreciate if you have the duct replaced.

            2. The rings on top of the hob's burner. They have small round rubber on the edges and square rubber support in the center. All of these are coming out. I am surprised by the quality of the product given to us. We paid Rs 21, 000/- for both the items, and its been less than 2 weeks, that the rubber is breaking.

            We thought that buying Elica products would not only add style to kitchen but would also be good in terms of durability. However the products are proving the other way around.

            I have contacted Elica customer care in Bangalore umpteen times (my complaint no. DEC050503, registered on 5 May), but given false promises and commitments each time.

            Is this the customer service Elica boasts off?

            I received another set of calls from their Head office Pune & Banglaore, but no concrete action has happened. As per the last call, they were to revert by 4th or 5th July, but till today there has been no response...evidently this talks about their customer service
            Its really very shameful to see so called customer oriented company is doing such kind if false promises to eveyone... I will advice everyone out there never ever go for such fake companies and always but indian brands as these international brands only make false promise, shows u somthing else and produce somthing... If still d problem persist never deal with there customer care excutives as they are payed only to waste our time.directly complaint to consumer court so that d license to sell such product is taken away from the company and they never come back making fool of indians.i have realised one this desi is best while others r worst

              Inspired by the brand name we had bought Elica chimney arca plus model on 16th oct 2010 and installation done on 23rd oct 2010 .but after installtion when we had started using it we had found that it is not sucking the fumes at all, even we couldnt feel the suction at all ..it was the case when we were cooking our normal food and no deep frying were there at that time we are vegetarian ppl so it was pure veg.
              so we had called to the dealer and he sent his man to look after the issue....and beyond our expectation he was not agree to say that chimney is not sucking even my house was full of fumes that time..instead he was giving advices that close all the door.... ur kitchen is open ....."madam itna dhuan to rahega".....i mean if the fumes remain there in house then what is the use of spending hell lot of money in that.
              i m submitting this complaint in this hope that company will look after this issue.otherwise we will have to look for rather harsh option.

              We have same similar problem as there have been complaints earlier on suction/speed and distance... we have also been victim of ELICA so called Italian machine... i feel very pity for the company as it has no brand value and ethics.
              OR i should say all these dealer are miss using the name for their better... as we have been forced and misguided by the Dealer/agency and have been installed domestic machine in a commercial cafe which we run. as a consumer we have been cheated.
              and now the agency and the company is been playing the blame game on each other and we have been suffering in-spite of the payment made in full...
              BEWARE CONSUMER - ELICA dealer/agency- ASM enterprises, Bangalore. NEVER DEAL WITH THESE GUYS.

                As convinced by the dealer King Pont. No. 1 brand of italy. We bought not the product but severe headache. There counter part in India are spoiling their brand name. Before even establishing the brand. Bought Flat Glass LTW60 Chimney & Cook Top CT VETRO 400AI
                1. On opening of the new cartoon of Flat Glass LTW60 chimney. at time of installation. Hood was found missing in the box.
                2. Service People sent for installation or complaint are not provided proper tool kits.
                3. Newly joined service people are being sent with inadicate knowledge of the products.
                4. Rain water was trickling on the cook top through air outlet chimney filter due to poor installation checks.
                5. Service people's first preference for money over rides customer satisfaction which comes secondary.

                6. Company is interested only selling the product & rest customer has to run around for other for half the job of installation. In-spite of paying Rs. 1300/- + 700/- ( for making Hole in the wall). Company should arrange for complete installation like all A/C companies are doing for the installation of A/C.

                7. New Cook Top does not work with PNG. To make it work service guy ask for Rs.380/- for the change of new nozzles. I have done a big mistake by buying Elica products. Pin of the Frill is broken.

                8. Hardley any one responds on Service centre which is sw off /very difficult to get thru toll free nos. given on the Cartoon.

                9. Products cartoon does not have any packing slip/ correct Warranty card/ User manual

                10. Now my worry is service of the product. Company should look for better infrastructure/ Well trained service people to maintain the brand name.

                With reference your complaint updated on Jan 20, 2013, & email sent to us at our customer care ID with regards to the issue of gas leakage, our Senior Customer Care Executive have scheduled a Senior Service Engineer to fix the issue on priority.

                As per the synopsis taken from the Service Centre & the conformation taken from you over the phone the issues is fixed to your satisfaction.

                We would further like to inform you that we had an Authorised Service Franchisee in Chennai & your details were updated to them, however the complaint were unattended & due to their inconsistent performance & feedback from customers the same was terminated with immediate effect. It took us some to come up with a new Authorised Service Franchisee with fully trained Service Engineers & hence there is a delay in resolution.

                We purchased with lot of enthusiasm elica chimney for our home at Bangalore. Within 4 weeks the electronic board became faulty. We are following with local technicians for the last 3 months and yet to be fixed. It is disgusting. The fan, the construction is good but the service stinks and also the low quality components in electronic circuit is the main cause for failure. We have to followup on daily basis and beg them to offer the services. The service is really bad and I wish I had purchased some other who give good service. My take home is never buy elica products till they set their service arm in shape.
                Elica India is hopeless. Pune Elica is Hopeless. Rajdeep enterprises (Chinchwad, Pune) is Hopless. Thumbs down to Elica in India. These people are not trustworthy.

                I bought LTW60 3 months back in pune. At the time of installation I found the power cable was defective. That time I gave the power cable of my desktop computer to test the chimney. The mechanic promised me to provide a new power cable to me in 1-2 days. So, I left the cable plugged with the chimney. But since then I did not get any cable and my computer is not working. I called the dealer many times to get the answer every time “Sir, don’t worry I am there to solve every problems”. That fellow is a big wordbomb.

                After one month I got a call to collect my power cable. When I went to the store to collect the cable, I got surprised with mixed reaction after seeing the cable. There was no three pin plug attached to the cable. There were three open wires only at one end of the cable. In anger, I complained to the dealer. The answer given to me (an engineer) was very shocking “Sir, the cable is okay. Elica produces such cable only (without a three pin). The answer was only to add fuel to my anger. As far as I know no company produces a power cable without a three pin.

                Another issue I faced is related to the warranty card. The dealer had told that company gives a warranty card (a magnetic plastic card like ATM cards) in one month. Till date I did not get the warranty card.

                One more proof related to the statement made by me in the first line goes like this. When I bought the chimney there was an offer going on was of a scratch coupon. The dealer told me to give the scratch coupon at the time of delivery. After not finding any scratch coupon in the delivered box, I called the dealer. He promised me to give the coupon in 2-3 days. But even after a month I did not get any coupon. Then again I called the dealer to enquire about the coupon and other issues. That time I was shocked to know that the lucky draw date for the coupon has crossed and they don’t have any more coupons.

                Is anybody from Elica listening? If you are really serious about business in India then think over it.

                I can understand your mind of frame, the way your grievances was handled by the Elica service Team in your location.
                Even i have had a concern in my both products (Chimney & Hobs) very unfortunately!!!, never happened till date with any other appliances. However the way Elica Service Team has attended and still are in touch with me in regards to maintain my products, I have no complaints. Yes in beginning i was very much irrerated abt the way my call was handled by local service engineer in Bangalore. That poor fellow was not aware abt the subject actaully "i feel". I made a complaint on Direct Companies Toll Free no. i.e.[protected] and also written a mail to their customer care id, i.e. [protected]@elica.in along with all my contact detail.
                Very next day i have received a call from a lady, who took my appointment and as per my schedule sent her sr service engineer to resolve the concern, that service engineer without taking much time diagnosed the concern and told me the actual reason of my concern and offered the solution, yes it requires to change the motor of my Chimney, as promised they replaced it within 2 days.
                Since then i do not have any complaint in my products, both are working absolutely fine, i know chasing person related to kitchen is very tough job, coz u have to get them complete your job or you better find out some excuse to be share with yur wife or mom.
                Well was lucky enough in this regards, i must add this also, coz i do have referred this brand to my two close relatives also, even they dont have any complaint.

                Hence in conclusion, i can say that pl. approach the company directly if possible. You will definately get resolve. Coz in current scenario all MNC or local company believes in customer satisfaction.

                Well after reading your mail, even i will also keep my fingers cross. Coz from office calling somebody related to Home or kitchen is very tidious job and some time irretated too.
                Sir, I have yesterday purchased a Elica FS301 SS Hood with lot of hopes that Elica is brand of best in Kitchen hoods. However we realised today that it is totally waste and it is not properly designed to handle the smoke. They say it sucks and filters the oil, etc is . This is completely cheating and we feel that we lost Rs. 7500 paid for this. I wish no more people fall prey to this Elica's products end up loosing only money and time.
                Don't buy Elica product and it sells worst products.

                Faber / chimney — delay in installation of the chimney unit

                I have booked a chimney from Tambaram Viveks showroom on 7th may 2011, and paid Rs.5000 has advance. The showroom incharge person has informed that after making full payment , the unit will be delivered to me. Accordingly I have paid the full amount on 10th may 2011 and the unit delivered on 11th may and also informed that the technician will come and install the unit on 12th may but the technician does not turned on that day. When contacted they replied me that the technician will come on 14th may and I have frequently contacted with the FABER service centre and they have not properly replied and they have not taken any steps.Further when contacted the showroom they informed that they will arrange to install the unit. This kind of attitude of Faber service centre and showroom in unfair and they does not care about the consumer service. Consequent of this, I will approach the appropriate forum.

                Very good product range! have purchased combination chimney and cooktop (both are of glass make) at very reasonable rate in combination offer.
                Have suggested the same to my relatives too, to buy the best prd offered by new company.

We have been calling the Elica support at bangalore and they say they will come and install today but they never show up. Can we get it installed by someone else? instead of waiting and wasting out time for Elica support people. I strongly discourage people from buying Elica chimney. What is the fun in buying Elica Chimney if they don't want to come and install it.

                I purchased achimney model noG L[protected]P LTW on[protected] from M A.E.N chennai.it had complaint in working .                 We also did a mistake by buying Elica stove and chimney 6 months back. Last 3 months, fault in gas (lighter) ignitor started. If one is ignited other 1 or 2 also sparks. Sometimes, all 4 sparks continuously itself. After calling Several times for service, atlast a man came and told the spare part of ignitor control may or may not be available. We thought he will set it right. But still waiting a word from him for past 7 days. Now we use a manual gas lighter. Amalraj _Coimbatore
                ELICA Cooktop! The most inefficient company in the present day structure, and i say that for the dealers attitude(Amit Bhai from Today Traders-Ahmedabad) the service center in ahmedabad and the useless technicians. I have been facing problems in the cooktop since the day i got it delivered. The knobs have been changed twice one being on the same day of installment, the ignition circuit has been changed and also the allignment was adjusted. And all this is done in just a perdiod of about two months...but still the problem persists. I have to call the service station in every 10 days and follow it up for another 5 days till they actually come to take look. And when I asked for the customer complaint representatives number from the trader(Amit Bhai) he is not ready to pass on that information only. I hope this complaint doesnt fall on the deaf hears, and the company representative takes a look at it.

                I agree. I am another unfortunate customer of Elica from Bangalore. I went by MNC brand and it has become pain since than. First during installation, I figured out its outsourced and left without any supervision. After complaints, I got it installed. During installation, technicians pointed out 2 defects ad for last 2 months, I am pursuing every-one without any success. There are key learnings -

                1. Don't buy the name even if its made in Italy, till it has proven track record.
                2. Check the web-site, you will note there are no customer service number only sale.
                3. Don't buy from a new dealer. I bough from a newly appointed dealer which is closed most of the time.

                Anyone plans to buy, my sincere advice, go from any other brand but Elica. Let them put thier house in order.

                I'm moving into my new house in a couple of months time. My architect/engineer are recommending Elica hobs and hoods; however, after seeing most of the concerns regarding the ignitor, explosion after the installation, delay in installation (that too in Bangalore), etc., I'm really forced to stick to the good old Faber. Elica being a MNC in India, I assume their service standards should be better; but your concerns on this forum prove otherwise.
                So, Elica is losing one client!

                I have been following up with Elica service center as also Pune office to resolve a long pending complaint, but it seems all is going to the deaf ears. We were given a lot of promises when we bought it, but it has been over 7 months that we are following up on it. Can anyone tell how long the wait would be?

                I had purchased Elica Cook top of Vetra 372 AIDX 1 week back, but from dayone the auto ignition is not working, i called dealer & your service people who are working in Bangalore, but no use, simply they are coming & going, problem is the burner was changed while supplying the cook top. please supply the right burner, the Bill No is 2219, I.H.B Enterprises.
                We had gone ahead and purchased an Elica Kitchen Hob and Hood in Bangalore with great expectations considering the good reputation of the brand internationally.
                I would like to note with dismay that we are having to do a lot of chasing to get the installation done.
                A call to the Toll free number was received by a 'Ms Mamtha' last week when we made our request for installation. A service personnel was sent the next Saturday (10th feb)who fixed the hood without the exhaust pipework or split unit. We paid rs 800 for the same. The Hob was also not installed

                The person promised to come the next day and do the remaining installation . Neither did the person come, nor did he call up and inform of any delay.
                Repeated complaints to the Toll free Number was always met with a promised call from a 'Ms Reena' (Bangalore service centre)- but this call never came.

                We are very disappointed with the poor service and the repeated chasing required to get a simple installation done- that too from a world renowned brand like Elica.
                The least we would expect is that the personnel at least calls back and updates us on the reason for delay and the possible date of installation rather than expecting us to do the chasing.

                We purchased Elica SPOT NG Chimney on[protected]. However, within 5 mins of installation the machine failed to work.
                And inspite of continues follow up with the dealer and the installation team. THey are unable to resolve the same.

                How can a brand new chimney fail to work. It is shocking and pain to constantly follow up with them with no result. It is 6 days today and we have brand new chimney which is not working.

                Please take an appropriate action at the earliest or replace the chimney at the earliest. This has been a mental torture for us.

                How can a company give warranty of 15 years when their product does not even function for 5 mins after installation.

                This Elica has a poor customer service ever i have seen in my life time, they dont value the customers and after sales service is the worst ever seen.
                They are so lethargic. I bought a 4 burner kitchen hob and a chimney during november from the day one i had problem of gas leaking in one of the burner after 2 months of continious follow up they came to service and came up with a conclusion that the tube carrying the gas has a leakge the technicain said he would come with the spare parts still they dint turn up and i am continiously following up on a daily basis. literally tierd of calling them and their service people. Above even after wriritnig mail to customer service i dont get a reply.

                Worst people and the worst product to purchase .. waste of money

                Its my painfull experinece i have faced with Elica, I have brought a high end hob and chimeny from elica chennai in the month of November 2012 . From the day of purchase i had problem with gas leakage from the burner, Inspite of several customer care complaints and follow up nobody turned up till two months, These people dont know the serious ness of the problem and they are so easy as gas leaking from the burner is such a big problem.

                On a daily basis i call n give complaints all they are commitments are to the bin . Nobody turns up after 2 months a technician came and inspected and said there is a leakage in the burner leg which carries the gas to the burner and that is the problem he said he would come with a spare parts . Till date they dint turn up.

                No company i have seen with such a poor sericive. please dont be a prey for these people .

                I had got my Alica chimney model glace installed in my kitchen. While the work for making the modular kitchen was in progress, the glass for the chimney broke. I contacted their service representative in Delhi and they indicated the cost of the glass as Rs. 3, 500/-. I was not convinced that the cost of the glass should be so much, so I contacted their helpline to find out the list prices. They expressed their inability to give me the price and asked me to contact their Delhi rep.

                Since it was not an immediate requirement, as the work for modular kitchen was still in progress and in between I left for abroad. On my return I again contacted their Delhi rep and this time they told me price was Rs. 2, 500/-

                I am surprised that a reputed company like Elica should leave the spares price to their contract service provider, so that they can charge whatever they like. It is atrocious
                Yeah we too are very disappointed both by the performance of chimney as well as poor service response. First of all, its nearly impossible reaching through their numbers, and once done, these guys commit that they will attend to the complaint and never turn up in months also.
                I am trying to call Elica customer care to get installed of my new chimney but no body is responding[protected] . THEY DONT CARE FOR YOU DESPITE THEY BEING A TATA ORGANISATION AND DO NOT FALL PRAY OF DISCOUNT OFFERS OF ELICA CHIMNEY. THEY ARE WORTHLESS.

                I bought Elica Chimney hood from Croma. I preferred Croma considering it as a TATA organisation, which according to me carries a very high repute. But I was disappointed not only from Elica but also from Croma. I bought it on 28.04.2013 and I was assured that the hood would be installed with demo within 48 hours. I amply clarified that after 1st May possibility of somebody remaining at home during day hours is bleak and I was assured that it would be done well before that. Once a gentleman (???) from Elica called me informing that he would be coming for installation on 30.04.2013 at around 6 pm. Since then I have been following up on the number and several times it was informed that he is on way and the chimney hood would in any case would be installed. After 1st May, the person stopped receiving calls from my number, which was later on picked when called from another number and again another assurance was given. Since then neither somebody called nor picked the phone calls. It is really hell of a job and I am repenting for buying the said product. The reason for mentioning about Croma is they despite a TATA organisation are most irresponsive in giving support for the product sold from their outlet. This is my second experience. ideally I should not have taken a chance. But I still considering TATA brand name I went there and now repenting.
                Don't be surprised by Elica's poor customer service. They have no regard for their customers once a sale is made. I will never use their products again!
                Elica has no regard for their customers. They sell knowingly defective products (they admitted this to me and are still selling the product). Never again will I purchase or recommend this company.

                gave the full demonstration about the product like how it worked, etc.All the queries where handled nicely...
                Last week I bought a ITALIAN 3 B SSP cooktop, I found that it very easy to handle as it is automatic.The space between the
                burners is perfectly managed, as i can use it simultaneously.Different size of burners helped accordingly.Glass coat make it look
                really nice and is easy to maintain...!
                Elica's EPBI 860 MMF owen is very trendy and good looking.Handling of owen is easy and proper direction are given.
                Baking cookies and cake and cooking tandoori is easy.It saves lots of time and money offcourse, ..!

                Elica Chimney India is cheating people. They do not have any control over their dealers. When you buy an chimney then it is Elica's responsibility to do the installation. But dealers will send their own unskilled persons to do the installation and end up damaging the woodwork and do the wrong installation of Chimney. When i called the customer care they say i should have called the customer care for booking the installation date. This means they do not have any control over the dealers, because it is dealers responsibility to guide the customer for making them understand the installation process.

                Please register a complain against the Elica India, they have scratched my kitchen cabinets and installation is not done properly.

                I also did a mistake by buying Elica Chimney. Last One months, I am regular try to contact their service Department. Every time they say sorry we will send our service technician, yes I agree they do not control there service team.
                But Continue follow up with there customer care, till date no one is contact with me.

                Worst experience. ...I am Ashvini Shende from Dhayari pune. Taking follow up of service centre since 2 months. I Totally disappointed because 2 different technicians visited home but both are not reported back. They are not understanding urge of the kitchen appliances. During this period one day accident was supposed to happened since then I am call service centre. After that they told me that they are not having stand by stove after that I have arranged but still they not reported back. I think elica wants to wait for major accident at my home.
                Bought Cooking rage in 2013...never used Grill called number of times service guys. They dont give a damn at Bangalore.
                Please never buy Elica.

                It is a hope less company, they do not bother to attend the complaints, I purchased a cooking range during 2013 from a local dealer i Bangalore, problem started from 2014, during Dec 2014 some technician from service agency came, he just cleaned the burners and added few more problems, he broke one of the plug, cut open the screws, went back with the assurance of getting spares and collected Rs. 300/- as charges. When we complained about this inefficiency during Feb 2015, the same person came said that that particular spare is not available and again demanded the visiting charges. I complained again to their HO at Pune and also to their corporate company at Italy, even to-day this problem is yet to be resolved. On the other hand just to give a eye wash one person from their service centre calls and assures for early redressal. Other gimmick they play that they send us a message stating that we have refused to pay the SERVICE CHARGES and hence they would be closing this complaint. There should some Govt. Agency for quality check of these foreign origin products and its advertisements. Such companies with defective products and inefficient services should be banned other wise cheat the locals. I am tiredof following this company to rectify the problem. The equipment is also loosing its efficiency. On the whole this is useless and in-efficient company the people should avoid purchasing these products.
