Complaint against:- elica chimney "stripe" ltw 90 bk sold by vijay sales.

Dear sir /madam,
I present my compliments and beg to say that i am very much disappointed with the above said product.
I am renovating our premise and i had shortlisted your products compared to other manufacturer as i was assured about your quality and service. I approached m/s. Vijay sales who are a reputed vendor of elica products and many other reputed brands they retail.
The sales person showed us the catalogue of elica chimney and i shortlisted the above product, along with other elica kitchen products. But when the said product was installed by your technician i was bit shocked and surprised, as the product did not match the image on the catalogue.
There is definitely misrepresentation of the product, instead of black colour strip, i received chrome finish strip on the upper side of the chimney. As our entire look of the kitchen is in black and gold the stainless steel finish ruins the entire look.
I have verbally told the staff of vijay sales to look into this matter along with the manager on 23rd april 2017, they assured me that they will talk to elica regarding this issue but till date there is no reply from anybody.
I re-checked with the catalogue and have obtained the copy of the catalogue from them to prove myself that the product is different from what is mentioned and what is dispatched.
I would sincerely appreciate if you could kindly resolve this issue amicably in order to avoid bad feeling about the product so purchased from you. I would request you to now kindly make a note of my complaint, as the same has been not resolved

I purchased this chimney and this has not been working. The motor completely stopped and the light glows dim. Complained to Elica thru their phone number with complaint no 315195 on 24-Mar-2017. The engineer visited and said motor needs to be changed. After 10 days the motor was replaced and still the product did not work. The engineer promised to come back and then closed the ticket suddenly. This is pathetic service. How can the complaint be closed without resolving it? I complaint again today and instead of reopening the existing complaint, a new complaint was created.
On top of that the product comes with lifetime warranty. What a shame.
