its almost six days that when the complaint was lodged and for the last six days, they have no one to visit and have a look of damage. finally on writing on their FB page, their person visited and in one minute he left confirming that the YES the Glass has broken and it need to be replaced and they donot have the same in their stock. it may take 10 -15 days . no estimate provided and incase of replacement how will they proceed. ther is no idea. such a useless and hopeless company. seen many such similar complaints on this forum, which remained unresolved. people should write on their FB page so as others also got to know and they avoid this brand. having a worldwide reputation does not mean it will sell without the customer support

    I also purchased an Elica Cooktop CT
    Vetro 372 sp - 3 burner gas stove from Harsha Electronics Hubli(karnatka)
    on 20-Jan-2013.
    The stove worked fine for 1 year then on 22-Feb-2014, to the horrible incident
    took place at my
    family, the cooktop glass exploded with small and large
    pieces of glass flying
    in my kitchen with its several parts
    has brocken down, When we called up the Elica Customer Support he was abusing that
    "it wont happened like this, we need to investigate and we don’t have
    service
    center at Hubli", so it will be charged for this,
    and I told how this product
    happened this horrible incident what
    guarantee it will safe in future use, he
    did not assure of any proper resolution
    or timelines then he coudnt able to
    listen my problem start arguing then he
    disconnected the call his Name he
    mentioned as Mr.Raj his number I got
    on website i.e:
    [protected](Charges apply), even I
    tried other number too no response from other end. I have been trying to get in touch with Elica. I am horrified about using this
    product ever in future. If you are
    using an Elica product, the health and
    life
    of your family is in jeopardy. BEWARE,
    the same comments I got from several
    other people on internet consumer complaints who used the
    same product and experienced with
    the same horrible events.!!!,
    I request you to take any serious action against these fake product otherwise
    it will keep play with other Family health. As i
    am seeing there are several Complaints on same issues and on same product then
    why these people are keep selling this products.
    This product or whole Elice company should banned in India, as there service is
    also same like their products Horrible.

      Visited elica authorized shop located in Kondapur, Hyderabad for buying a 4Burner Gas stove. we selected Vetro 4Burner 68Dx plus and sales person told MRP is 15990/- and in discount we will get it for 13200/-. we paid 500/- as booking amount and paid rest of the amount after the product was delivered at my house next day. To our utter shock we found the MRP mentioned on the product is 12990/- and not 15990/-. When called the dealer, he said MRP is 15990/- and for saving tax company prints less MRP. I checked with head office in Pune and they confirmed MRP of the gas stove is 12990/- and not 15990/-. Next day I visited the same shop and another sales person was there and he didnt know abt my last visit. he told MRP is 12990/- and he can offer 8% discount on MRP. Spoke to the dealer and the regional manager but no response. .

          I bought a Chimney, Hood and dishwasher of Elica as I was assured of the services by the showroom owner. The problem started the day they had to install the equipment: 1. They never ever coordinate with you for installation. You need to chase the services manager and service engineer. 2. When and if the service engineer comes they never have the required tools to install the equipment. 3. No demo for using the equipment is given, as the Service Engineers ( I interacted with 3 of them) never have any idea of the setup and always show helplessness. I am totally fed up having bought the equipment of this company and would not recommend anyone to buy their products especially as their After Sales Service is not preset, and you will feel cheated.

            i purchased a elica electric kitchen chimney MODEL NO.: AMETISTA 60 POWER PLUS ELK, (serial no. KL[protected] BILL NO. 198, Date of purchase:[protected], from Eureka Seema water solution, 47 dehradun road, rishikesh. i m facing the problems like low suction of fumes and poor service since first month of its installation. i called several times to its customer care but no solution is came out. two times their service engineer came for visit (that was also after continuous followup my me for around 45 days)and after that they said that its motor is not giving proper suction power and needs replacement. after that they took a photocopy of my invoice and never came back for service. now whenever i want to ask about the matter they ask me for service charges even after knowing that the product is under warranty and having problem from starting. its the worst brand i have purchased till now. will never recommend anybody to purchase this brand. it is a total wastage of my 11, 000/- rupees.. better i wud suggest to go for some local low cost brand instead of buying ELICA CHIMNEY. very bad experience. very bad customer care.                 I own an Elica hob with glass top and a chimney since 1 year. Last month the glass top of the hob was broken. I raised a complaint on 24th July, 2013 on Elica India website. I got a call from them and I discussed with them the possibility of replacing the glass. I was told that it would be chargeable. After some thoughts I agreed to pay Elica for the glass replacement. I called up the Bangalore Elica Service to get the glass replaced. I was told that it will be replaced in 5 days. And since then it has been almost 1 and half month, the glass is not replaced. 1. I call once every week to Bangalore Service Center. I am told that it would be replaced in 4-5 days and I would get a call back. I never get that call. When I call them again, the story repeats. 2. After almost a month, I was convinced that Bangalore Service Center has no autority and are completely dependent on the Pune Service center to send them the materials. So, I called the Pune Customer Care, where I was assured that "enough is enough" now, and it will be replaced for sure. I also spoke to Head of Bangalore Service Center. Now all of them combined told me, the glass has already been dispatched and is under transit and I would get a call in 2-3 days. I never get that call. When I call them again, the same story continues. 3. I get a call every week from a customer care personnel from Pune, who asks me if the complaint has been resolved. Upon telling that it has not been, she tells me that she will follow up and get back. She never does, until another lady calls me asking the same question. The same conversation continues. Fed up, I write this complaint. There is absolute lack of professionalism. The division for "after sales service" is only for namesake.

                This was a very bad experience for me. The complaint was resolved only after I posted the complaint here. So, elica, you need to beef up your service. I am definitely not buying elica again not am I recommending it to my family and friends.

                This was a very bad experience for me. The complaint was resolved only after I posted the complaint here. So, elica, you need to bee[censored]p your service. I am definitely not buying elica again not am I recommending it to my family and friends.

                  Hi , I have taken Elica Chimeny along with Gas stove of 3 burner. I have told to installation on one date, person called me morning that he will come in 2nd half but he took three days to come to my home , lots of follow up has been done by me for just installation, Installation guy was in very hurry he installed in very quickly and went away , did not took much time for testing of chimney or explaining to customer. we use for one time and 2nd time we used chimeny stopped working, I called up Elica ( IHB agency ) for explaining my problem, after so many follow up person came and visited place , he told motor is burned has to replaced he took some info and went away, after 4 days no contact from any body, when I called up service people they dont have idea what went wrong with chimeny, i have to explain full story than they understood and after sometime service center told that your purchase bill need and warranty card, on that day person already seen bill and warrnty card now again they want really dont understand why and if they need they would have call me or take it. i really dont know when my chimeny wll repair. i felt so much harrashment, i need to keep follow up this people and they dont have any knowledge and they dont much interest for new customer if product faulty. please take this as complain and I would like to hire one lawyer on this., which I will do it soon.                     We had purchased Elica Chimney in Nov 2011. From March last week, when we switched on chimney there was some noise when the fan was On and it stopped working. We could hear only the motor sound but no suction of air.

                    By searching on internet we found Go Service service providers for servicing the chimneys. We had given a call to them regarding the problem.

                    After 2 days of complaint - 2 person from so called service center came and said some capacitor has gone bad, they need to place an order and get the new one.

                    After 1 week - Those people came with the new capacitor and checked with it and still the chimney was not working. Now this time they convinced us saying its problem with motor and we need to replace it. Since they had asked for Warranty information details and we scanned and sent the same through mail.

                    Since after that, EVEN TILL TODAY (more than a month) there is no response from those people, any time we call they say we will come the next day and they never turn up.
                    f they are so incapable of providing service for their product they should not be selling it in the market.

                    I have put complaint hoping that my chimney is fixed in couple of days, even after this complaint if its gonna work, I have made my mind to approach consumer court for the same.

                      We bought four products of Elica in october,2012. One of them was the microwave( epbi mw 34L serial no: TH[protected]. This was bought from Bhagwati electricals, we have been dealing with Mr.Bobby.

                      Ever since we have bought this peice, it has been giving problem. I have complained about it several times since..its been 7 months, the problem has not been rectified. The elica engineers have changed the main PCB at least 3 times. Display touch PCB has been changed. The problem remains.
                      We have been patient all this while, and agreed to get changed whatever te engineer said was required.
                      On 2 feb,2013, i gave it in written that i want the peice to be replaced, since the engineers have tried and the problem was not sorted.
                      After that again, on 10 april,2013 they wanted to change the pcb since this particular PCB was acquired from Italy,so I was told,i agreed yet again, and yet again, the problem was not resolved.
                      I was promised by MR. Bobby , that this peice would now be replaced in a day or two. 12 days have again passed by, there is no news on this as yet. Everytime we call Mr.Bobby, he promises us that it would be done in a day.Today when we tried calling him, he disconnectd the phone and now not taking our calls.

                      This seems pure cheating. We decided to take an ELICA product expecting quality product. The service and the product both are pathetic.
                      What solution do we have here? Or do we need to move to the consumers forum to have this problem resolved.

                      Expecting an early and quick response to this, considering we have already suffered for 7 months.

One of the technicians came to my house and helped with demonstration and installation of the stove as well on next day morning. The stove worked fine for 7 days and on 07-Jan-2013, to the horror of my family, the cooktop glass exploded with small and large pieces of glass flying in my kitchen. When we called up the Hypercity customer service, they did not assure of any proper resolution or timelines. I have been trying to get in touch with Elica and Hypercity customer care but to no avail. I am horrified about using this product ever in future. If you are using an Elica product, the health and life of your family is in jeopardy. BEWARE!!!

                        I also purchased an Elica Cooktop CT
                        Vetro 372 sp - 3 burner gas stove from Harsha Electronics Hubli(karnatka)
                        on 20-Jan-2013.
                        The stove worked fine for 1 year then on 22-Feb-2014, to the horrible incident
                        took place at my
                        family, the cooktop glass exploded with small and large
                        pieces of glass flying
                        in my kitchen with its several parts
                        has brocken down, When we called up the Elica Customer Support he was abusing that
                        "it wont happened like this, we need to investigate and we don’t have
                        service
                        center at Hubli", so it will be charged for this,
                        and I told how this product
                        happened this horrible incident what
                        guarantee it will safe in future use, he
                        did not assure of any proper resolution
                        or timelines then he coudnt able to
                        listen my problem start arguing then he
                        disconnected the call his Name he
                        mentioned as Mr.Raj his number I got

                          Elica Kitchen hood Flat glass TC3V601150 and CTVectro 3B72 slim combined booked on 4/11/12 thru M/s Sampurna International Bhuvanagiri, Bangalore 43 on 04/11/2012 vide PO No. 1254. paid bills total Rs.20,000/= inclusive of installation hole drilling and aluninium pipe extra.

                          The unit yet to be installed.
                          Every time i called since then, they say the technician will reach in half an hour.
                          This way I am inconvenienced to wait for the technicial endlessly for last few days

                          Request they may take back the equipment if further delay is there to install.
                          I am afraid of the services in future also if this is the time and followup required to get the item installed. !!

                          Please take back the unit and pay me back the money if it cannot be installed today also.

                            This is to bring to your notice that I had purchased a chimney and hob on 3/10/2011 and paid 39000/- for both the appliances vide Bill No-2290. Firstly, that on 3/10/2011, I was promised that there is a scheme going on thru which I would be getting an assured gift with a scratch card . But till date I have never received any of these.
                            Secondly,within few months o[censored]sing , its IC got burnt and it was replaced. Thirdly, its knobs gave me trouble since the time I purchased these appliances .I called the technician twice as its auto ignition was not working & till date two of its burners are not working .Then to top it all while I was making morning tea suddenly the glass of hob bursted last month & I just got saved by running outside the kitchen.

                            I ,immediately, informed Bath Selection, Gurgaon as I was not able to get thru the toll free number,since then it has been one and a half month I have not been able to get the same glass with steel frame. Twice the glass was arranged but both times it was different glass.This is the third time I have been told to wait for another Five days to get the glass delivered and that too they will assemble one part from somewhere & other from somewhere. Now they have come up with another idea that they are trying to arrange the glass from ITALY as if I will believe them.

                            Today I got a call from Pune saying that had I not used the hob they could have got it changed. Someone should teach the customer care that hobs are meant to be used not to be kept in lock n key once bought. Why would someone buy a Rs.20,000/- hob n still use some thing else to cook food.

                            With a lot of disappointment I wud like to inform you that if the company discontinues a product, they should also keep those customers in mind who have already bought that product & should have kept the spares handy with the company . Especially glass tops....

                            I have already met with an accident while cooking. The utensil fell on my foot there is a swelling on my foot. You are requested to help me in this matter.

                              I bought Eli ca cooktop five months before and in between i faced lots of complaints. My first complaint was regarding the back nozzle leckage issue after that more than 3 times the knobes got brocked. It was the serious issue which i faced with Eli ca cooktop. Initially we could not realize the knobe broken until the foule smell comes. Knobe as well as every spare used in elica seems very poor in quality.
                              Here after i dont recommend any cunsumers to go for elica products.
                              Using elica is a challenge in life.

                                Complaint regarding delay in chimney installation service

                                My family has bought an elica chimney from Vijay Sales Borivali branch on 19th september.

                                Today being 15th october, almost a month since we bought the chimney, the organisation has still not sent any person to install the chimney at our residence inspite of being promised the same.

                                We have made countless calls on their customer care number and also to the borivali branch of Vijay Sales but to no avail.

                                Elica dealer Rakshan kitchen has delivered different product chimney which is substandard and low cost and buttons go inside after 2 days o[censored]se only , In evening found that product is different and call back dealer immediately then he told me that it is not in stock and will be delivered within 2-3 days and I have trusted him and not stopped the cheque payment, and then he started giving excuses every time when I call.
                                Now he has stopped taking my calls.
                                ELICA customer care people mamta and darshana told me that it will be sorted out ASAP and will let me know the status after checking with dealer. But till date no response from their side. No reply on mails from the management. they are not professional and its complete waste of money and time.

                                  I have bought an Elica cooktop on 1st August 2011, but the product is very very bad. Every now and then the gas flow is blocked. The technician corrected the problem at least 4 - 5 times. But now the customer care is not even bother to pick up the phone. On 3rd September they received my call and assured me that they will send a technician within 48 hours. but that was the last time I have heard of them. This a worst product and I request people to not buy any Elica product.

                                  We did receive a call from you and the call was allocated to our respective service center and for the prior appointment they tried calling however their was not response from you.

                                  A senior technician will be arranged to fix the issue of low flame recurrence on priority (as per our telecom). I wish to inform you that spillage of food/liquid which may block the smooth flow of LPG could lead to low flame issue. Regular cleaning of burner's & precautions to avoid spillage as much as possible can stop the recurrence of the issue.

                                    I gaurav gupta from delhi.I purchased a chulha & chimeny from elica company before two months.At the time of purchasing dealer told me that this company is giving you guarantee of all parts for 15 years but from the time of purchase I am facing a lot of problem with chimney and chulha. There was a big incident in my kitchen my chimney glass has blast with a big sound, luckily nobody was there otherwise it could be a big accident. I called to company and made the complaint. Company representative visited my home and assured me to change my chimney glass within 2 days. I sent all the pictures with bill to the company by mail. I received a call from puna head-office, they told me the glass is not in stock so it will be change after four days, but after 4 days company called me and told that chimney glass is not in guarantee, my one fo kitchen wall glass has also broke because of big sound of chimney glass I request you please help us to change my chimney glass as well as my kitchen wall glass.I am sending you all the pictures of chimney glass as well as kitchen wall glass.My email id is ([protected]@hotmail.com) ,mobile [protected]

                                      R.K. Delicacy Which is a pickle manufacturing unit situated at Vengurala Road, Shinoli, Chandgad, Kolhpur, is dumping their waste in the open area behind their factory which is causing foul Oder and is a breading ground for fly and mosquitoes. Pls Take necessary action as all our request to the owner of the firm is gone in-vane.
