Dear Sir,
Last week
Elica Engineer
serviced my Elica gas stove very next day again l called him
One burner was not working After servicing.
Now again after two days same burner not working. I
requested for same problem.
As per your company rules I have paid service charges.
But my problem /defect not solved. Please now I contacted that person he is not coming to attend my complaint.on 21jan 17 he says I will com on Monday 1100h but he didn't came again I called him. He told 2pm I will come but after that he is not picking up phone.

    I had lodged a complaint on 4 Jan 17 for turntable not rotating in Microwave oven.
    Complaint no 279896
    On 6 Jan 17 technician visited and left stating that the motor needs to be changed which will take 3-4 days.
    I have called customer care on 14, 15 & 16 Jan to be told everyone that a call back will be arranged.
    Nothing has happened so far.
    Please expedite the repairs as such attitude shows such a highly reputed company in poor light.

      Elicas gas stove glas top got bursted out and i had raised a cutomer complaint by calling elica customer care. Raised almost a week ago.
      Customer care person said, this issue will be treated with very high prio and it is escalated.

      Every second day i am calling up and worst thing to hear from customer care is :

      "this issue will be treated with very high prio and it is escalated."
      - i need to find out the meaning of escalation and very high priority. :)

      No sms to my mobile, no technician or service person arrived so far. No status updates.

      I am planning to buy a gas stove from other company. Never had such a bad experience with any product and customer care.

        I have purchsed cooking HOB mfc 3b 75 cidx through IHB Enterprises Bangalore. I had many issues from the begining. Your service technitians are ill equipped and inexperienced. There was a fire during installation. Burner sound, etc. Auto ignition was not working properly and they said operating mistake. Now two of the burners are not working with auto ignition. I booked call on 10.12.2016 in the morning with ref No.269701. They said 10th not possible and sunday holiday for service. I opted for today 13th being holiday for us. Since morning they went on promising that technitian will come but so far nobody came. Even at 7 pm one technitian mob no.[protected] said will come in half an hour. Alas it is 8.45 pm. no sight of their coming. Holiday is lost. Height of stupidity is that at 6 when called Elica says technitial reported that we had asked them to come tomorow as per remarks in their record. We are working couple and they play with us like this. sit but no body turned up. Earlier also they did like this and made us to wait througt the day but no body will turn up. Elica service people are taking me for a ride. Is there a culture in Elica and their service? Is Elica will address?

          The elica chimney galazy model we purchased 16-Apr-2013 started malfunctioning as on 13-Sep-2016. Barely 3 years of operation the technician charged 250 Rs for the visit and took 5 mins to tell us that is broken and needs circuit board change. The original cost of the chimney was 29, 000 rs and the cost of the circuit board is 6000 Rs which is 25% of the cost of chimney. Their website and dealers mention that all parts are covered under life time warranty but when we mention that the service center says circuit board is not covered. Later they say they need to investigate electrical lines in the house and all such nonsense.
          The chimney works for 15 secs and then turns off, it looks like a capacitor issue but the technician is not interested in repairing small parts. Very bad service and customer support from elica.

          After posting the complaint on consumer complaint forum Elica team was much more proactive in addressing the issue.
          They sent a senior technician who was knowledgeable compared to the earlier service engineer from "Go Service" a third party service provider.
          They provided a discount on the the touch screen panel PCB and finally I got the chimney fixed on 4-Jan-2017.

          When i bought the chimney the box piece was not properly sealed when it was sent by the dealer. He said that he had opened to check it but my guess is that the dealer had packaged a display chimney unit hence may be the touch panel failed so early. Otherwise for moderate usage it should have lasted a while. Please ensure that the dealer sends you a proper packaged item. Otherwise chimney is quite good and happy with it.

          Suggestion for Elica Team:
          Price of spare parts & servicing can be reduced a little to be competitive with other vendors.

            Elica turboAir Chimney

            Dear mam,
            I have purchased one turbo air chimney form Elica Studio, Bhubaneswar on Dec 2015. I have raised complain about oil dripping form front panel.my request call I'd was 187545. I raised one complain about the same issue last month 31/05/2016. Your service executive didn't find the exact issue, so they asked me to install chimney pipes once again. I purchased and installed new aluminum pipes. now the issue once again surfaced....

            Highly disappointed and regretting now for having Elica chimney. Within 2 weeks o[censored]sing the glace trim ltw 60 tc3v power plus led model chimney, the suction motor went down . I contacted the Elica CC and within 2 days the technician arrives .Unfortunately that day we have some power outage in my area and the technician told me that he will come again in the next day. After that he never shown up and i got a SMS stating my issue got resolved . Again i complained through the dealer and this time the same technician came and told me that the chimney motor went bad and it will be replaced by Elica within next 4 days . Before the 4 day deadline ends i got a SMS that my issue got addressed and the respective ticket got closed. This time im really got fadeup with the type of response and service provided by Elica in Bangalore /Whitefield area.

            I desperately waiting somebody to help me on this . My warranty registration number is YSF16108073.

            1. Installation is not done by our authorized company technician or ASP. We have clearly return on our warranty website, product packing, warranty manual that for installation/service/complaint please call us on our toll free no.[protected] so that company technician will visit at your place, as only company technicians are trained to install/service/repair Elica products according to company’s standards.
            2. Improper installation is the major cause for the electric shock and failure of the PCB/product.

            I had tried calling you to inform you about the details over the phone but the phone was unanswered.
            On 30th Nov’2016 i.e., tomorrow our technician Mr. Vinod will visit at your place to check the issue and will inform you that what we can do to resolve the issue.

              I bought Elica chimney (flat glass electronic model) for my new house on 28th january 2016 from IHB Enterprises puttanhalli bangalore.
              This was the very new model it seems and it was specially manufatured for Sobha apartment flat owners, as per the IHB enterprises owner Krishnan prasad.
              He advised me to buy this chimeny and i blindly trusted on him and bought this chimeny on loan.

              They did the Installation on 2nd feb and I shifted to my house in april so basically i started using the chimeny from mid of april.
              But It suddenly stopped working in august and i raised a formal complaint to Elica service center on 27th of august.
              since then 6 different technician visited my place but nobody was able to resolve the problem.
              it was more than a month and still they were not able find the issue. on 3rd october i called up the customer care and had a hard
              conversation with IHB owner and Elica service head on a conference call. they convinced me to give another chance
              and asked there technician to bring everthing to there service center.
              i don't know what and how they solved but on 5th or 6th of October they solved the problem and delivered to my home.

              Since it was dussehra time, and next day itself we went to our native, we could not run it even a single day.
              when we retunred home on 8th, it worked perfectly fine but only for 3-4 days and on 11th november again it was not starting.
              I raised a complain and since then 5 times different technician came but same thing is getting repeated and they are not able to solve it.
              i am completely pissed off now. i did a blunder buying this chimeny. In my apartement everyone was stopping me to buy Elica, but i donno why
              i purchased this. The worst part is, i am still paying the EMI for this.
              i would never suggest anyone to buy Elica products from now onwards. There service center sucks with poor skill technician.

                The call id 259307 has been closed without full resolution. Even your customer care department was apprised of the same and no action has been taken. To top it the totally unprofessional behavior of the servicing company made the day a mess when issue was resolved partially.

                First, he comes to resolve a gas leakage issue in 3 days. The mechanic went on a training was the excuse. REALLY !!. Now I understand how you treat your customer's safety.

                Second, he sends any part to try and fit on the cooktop although the part number should have been followed. The reason given is that the part is not available and hence he (the manager) wanted to give it a try. The semi-working cooktop is hence rendered useless while my kid is asking for food. Now after all damage is done he tells me part will take 4-5 days to come.

                Suddenly after giving him a dose of what service is and how it is to be done, the mechanic comes back with a proper part within 1 hour. MAGIC !!!

                WORST AND SHAMELESS BEHAVIOR BY YOUR SERVICE TEAM (HINDUSTAN something and CUSTOMER SUPPORT) .

                And even still the complaint mentions that knobs need to be changed but still no action was taken by your servicing company or team and rather the complaint has been marked resolved.

                WILL NOT BUY OR RECOMMEND ELICA TO ANYBODY.

                  244848 - Ticket closed without work.
                  253827 - While inquiring on the ticket 244848 they said this has been closed. Insisted to reopen the ticket. But they opened one more 253827 . Before this a service person came to my place and took the faulty device stating he will send the parts to Pune and you will get a replacement. Product is on warranty and i have provided all the documents. This has already been 1 month. I am tired of following up to customer care and the service engineer.

                  Are you going to expand the warranty duration? i have not purchased this just to hang in Kitchen.

                    Send team for installation with adequate palnning. Team should have adequate knowledge of installation. They should have attitude of providing honest service to customers. My experience with Elica team was bad. Installation is incomplete. Installation team is trying to either bluff or do not have poor knowledge of installtion. Send proper team. Check the credentials of person managing the team. Call ID 254470, 254475.

                      Dear elica team,

                      I bought "elica ct vetro 469 metallic copper" 4 burner gas stove with auto ignition facility on 15/09/2014 from "savitha electro agency, coimbatore-641002". The auto ignition facility stopped working within 3 months after purchase and as it is not a must for me i started using lighter. After six months or so the jet started giving trouble that the flame is either too high or too low. After one year instead of blue flame yellow flame appeared in two burners and caused blackening o[censored]tensils. Above all on[protected] when the gas stove was in use it catches fire near the on/off tuner knob of one of the small burners due to leakage of lp gas. Luckily it was noticed by my wife and she switched off the regulator of the cylinder immediately, otherwise it would have been a major accident.

                      This was reported to elica customer support with a call id:251558. A service engineer visited my home and inspected the affected gas stove and estimated a cost of rs 2000 for repairing. The service engineer also noticed severe rusting on the back of the gas stove and told the rusting is due to the use of a this rustable iron sheet for fixing the burner assembly.

                      At this point i would like to bring to your notice that already i have spent nearly rs 9000 to buy the product under the impression that it is an italian based brand so that it can last longer and safe and trouble free functioning will be ensured and it is not justified to expect me to spend another rs2000 for repairing and what is the guarantee that the other three on/off tuner may not leak subsequently. Ultimately the gas stove has lost it's credibility and has failed in all respect. Most importantly the gas stove is not kitchen worthy and highly dangerous that it may catch fire and cause even loss of life of the personal working in the kitchen area.

                      Even a normal gas stove locally made bought for rs1200 served trouble free for more than 12 years without any of the issues i have faced with the branded elica gas stove. All the issues reported are 100% due to manufacturing negligence on your part and hence i kindly request you to replace the complete product with a new one and aslo request to stop using such a low quality and leaking on/off tuner to avoid any kind of accident in the kitchen and most importantly the loss of life can be averted.

                      I have attached all the details regarding the bill/warranty and the images showing the rust, poor design of the rubber beeding around the burner assembly causing stains on the glassy surface etc..

                      Finally hope that my prayer will be answered soon and my complaints/suggestions will be taken in the right spirit and necessary modifications will be done at least in the upcoming products.

                      On receipt of your complaint to our distributor we have sent our technician on 30.10.16. Technician observed that the microswitch and Mixing tubes need to be changed.

                      We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we have no previous service / complaint records in our CRM since the date you have Purchased the cooktop, which is proof for good performance of the cooktop. Incase there was any manufacturing defect in the cooktop it should have appeared in few days of operation not after 25 months o[censored]sage. Hence your claim for product replacement is invalid.

                      Your product is out of warranty and will require change in Mixing tubes, burners & microswitch, the cost of the same will be 2000.00 INR. Elica being a customer centric company, we can give you discount on spares. Kindly confirm so that we can proceed further.

                      Very much dis-satisfied with the customer care by Elica.The product(Elica GAS stove) is very poor in quality that within two years period almost all the components in it has become faulty and now the product is unusable.For replacing just one microswitch you are charging Rs2000 when a quality new product is available for Rs 3000 to 4000.Leave about the charges but the safety of the personnel using the gas stove has become a question.
                      All in all I am really fed up with your product and most importantly your customer support is very very poor.Now I have bought a new Quality product from other brand . I am taking up the issue with the consumer forum for further action and suggesting the customers not to buy Elica products any more

                        I bought Elica Build In Oven from Vijay Sales along with LG Dishwasher and Videocon TV.
                        None of the other companies has requested for installation and demonstration charges, but Elica, which is very unfortunate.
                        I dont even need Elica person to install the oven for me, but just show the demonstration to operate the machine.
                        I never observed other multinationals nor Indian companies charging anything for the demonstrations, but companies are happy selling their products to customers to meet their satisfaction.
                        Elica does not seems to be interested in surviving in Indian Market, which is very unfortunate.

                          Supplier name - IHB enterprise puttanahalli. From the day one. It's not working. It's about to be one month.. no body takes responsibility..one day someone came changed mother board... still not working.. then he say motor to be replaced... again one more person came he say board to be changed. now I got a message that my complaint is closed.. need someone help here.

                          We got the chimney from elica but the service people who has to come and fit it taking more time . Really the worst service technician . Meant only for the money not understanding the value of customer who is getting it. Please don't try to get this chimney
                          I purchased a chimney Alicia in June 2016 at bhopal, now from last two days the fan of chimney not working.p ls send a engineer at my home for repair .my address is D9 rajat vihar, sterling oasis, near wonder international school, hoshangabad road, bhopal.[protected]
                          We burnt our chimney accidentally oil got heated and sucked in chimney causing it to dysfunction.

                            I had purchased an elica chimney on 21.06.16. i had complained about 15 days back for my chimney to customer care as its not working. the engineer came who completely had no knowledge regarding it and said either a part or the chimney will be changed which will take a day or two. after waiting for 4 days since there was no revert, i called up the customer care and they didnt even have the feedback from the engineer regarding the same. they spoke to the delhi representative and updated me that they will send the part in another 2 days. the engineer who had come earlier came again on 10.10.16 with the part and on installation (or rather trying to install) it says hes got the wrong part. this is the training they get. then i was told the part will come to me on 11.10.16 which his senior mohit too confirmed and committed. on 11th i was calling them repeatedly and got no reply. i called customer care and they told me that on 11th delhi office is shut because of dusherra which i was not informed and till date no kne has come to rectify the problem. the service is horrible and the team gives false committments full of lies. i will taje this matter up to the top most level and put a complaint in consumer forrum as well.

                              Tommorrow i booked/purchased the elica chimney along with a gift hamper i. E. Nonstickes khadi from "a touch of class" exhibition jaipur. But today gift hamper is change on delivery.
                              I talk to your authoirzed distributor plz change this. But he say that this gift is not applicable to this elica chimney.
                              Kindly rectifiy the problem on urgent basis.

                              The light in the chimney is not working
                              Since 6-7 Month my Elica Gas stove is having problem one of burner is not working complaint toll free no or not responding.
                              Also more then eight month back service person come and attended he complaint not done properly
                              please attend the complaint and short out the issue.

                                I purchased elica kitchen chimney from dealer and he told me to contact elica customer care for installation. i called elica toll free number and booked a technician. my chimney installation is the simplest one where its exhaust is on other side of wall so no ducting etc was required and he just had to cut window grill to install exhaust pipe. he refused to do anything and just installed two screws and hanged my chimney and charged 500 for the same. he demanded extra 600 for just one feet pipe and started fighting for complete installation.
                                i would like to escalate this matter to the top management of elica to resolve this issue as it totally unfare to charge rs 500 for just hanging my chimney which is of no use since exhaust pipe has not been installed.

                                other companies like Faber and kutchina offer free installation and best service. god knows why i went for elica.

                                  I have purchased the chimney and got it fitted 1 day back, to my surprise they have not fitted chimney pipe cover at the end and the technician after 1 day is saying that it need to be purchased and is out of stock.
                                  The worst part is when i called the dealer (n m innovations) and confront him that why this information is not provided to customer, then he said he is not responsible, that's really pathetic. i think dealers are not providing all the information to customer and even now technician is not picking the call.

                                    With reference to the above, recently chimney stopped working. I lodged a complaint in this month end with customer care. The technician said pcb need tobe replaced and he charged ₹2000 mrp for that. My argument is that though it was purchasrd on 4/7/2015, installation was done in the month of nov2015 after which only i occupied the house. Warranty is for 12 months. How can you count warenty from date of purchase? It should be from date of installation. They didnt have the details of installation. They say dealer must have done the installation. Is the company authorise dealer to do the installation? Whose fault is this? I demand justice from the company. You can't simply escape saying that it is mentioned that warenty counts from date of purchase and not from date of installation.

                                    As per the telecom held between Elica & you, the warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase only. Please visit our website http://www.elicaindia.com/help-desk/warranty-policy where point no. (4) Unless specified otherwise this warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period of one year from date of invoice, even if the product may not be in use for anytime during the warranty period.

                                    To obtain warranty the customer has to register their product with Elica. The product should be installed by the Authorised service person / authorised service centre.

                                    For installation through authorised service centre customer has to contact Elica customer care on Toll Free no.[protected] or [protected] or SMS Elica service to [protected].

                                    Your product is out warranty coverage hence 2000 INR is collected from you for the required spare i.e., PCB.

                                      I purchased a chiminy on dated 22/04/16.Now it has a problem when starting it.I complained the to the customer care and they replied that as the date of purchase is within 6 months then no need to pay any charges to the service engineer.but the service persons demanding 250/- for visiting charges and travelling charges also which is out of rules.so pls consider my case and provide justice to me

Now touch panel is not working and Unit is completely dead. while purchase they said life time warrenty for 15 Year. Now they are saying Electrical device won't cover under warrenty.
