PF cheque not received

I have applied For PF in the 2011, I got the cheque details via message in my mob on 29/07/2011 but later 2 months i have traced with bank but i didn't get. Then I called PF office that they said the Cheque got returned to them, So through employer i have resubitted the formwith new bank details again on 23 Jan 2012 ( I have acknowledgement) but still i didn't get my money into my account....

The application in respect of form 19 and 10C has been settled for the amount Rs 23158/-and Rs.10428/-and has been remitted vide cheque nos. 491860 dated 17.01.2012 and 290798 dated 17.01.2012 respectively. Bank details: A/C no. [protected], HDFC BANK LTD , MUMBAI.
But According to HDFC Bank,they do not have any cheque...

Dear Sir,

I worked in Patni Computer Systems Limited in Mumbai for 2.5 years i.e. till Feb 2008. So far I have applied twice for my PF settlement and received no update till date. Last applied was in June 2010 and I was able to track my case online and it showed under processing for around 1.5 years.

I even have the acknowledgement reciept that Patni company received upon submission of my case to EPF office....
