Public Provident Fund — credit date for checks deposited to ppf account

i want to get informed about the date of credit to ppf account when a local check from another bank or branch of the bank in which ppf account is held is deposited to the ppf account. is it credited only on the date of the realization of the check or on the day the check is deposited after the check is realised.

My PF cheques were sent to the canara bank, frazer town, but unfortunately the bank has misplaced my cheques. we have been following up with the bank and they have sent you a letter requesting for new cheques.

a reminder letter was sent on 16.09.11 Ref: MSCR:SB/34441/11.

Hi Sir,
I had worked in bhartiya vidya bhavans, civil line, nagpur, for nearly 2 years (July 2012 to October 201) and my PF number was "MH/27670/[protected] and (9214)". Last year I joined in new organisation. Here I got a new PF account "NG/NAG/61458/48". So, I requested for transfer of PF accumulations from "MH/27670/[protected] and (9214)" account to "NG/NAG/61458/48" in Last time. Aprox 6 to 8 months got over but I have not recived any information on my request.

Hi this is sapna jishnani I was working with IBM Daksh i have also not yet received the PF amount...Plz will request u to look into the matter as i am unable to come to Pune and contact the officers and in need of money as soon as possible

I have not received my PF which was applied 5 months back from now.
I resigned from the organisation on 31december 2010 and has still been waiting for my PF .
This seems the company is not interseted in paying back my money and following up all.
There have been serveral follow ups done from my end.
I want my money for for the duration i worked - 3 years, 2 months.
And PF account number is AP/HY/53322/033 and even I don't know whether it's a genuine or fake number.
It will be very greatful to you if you follow up or suggest me what to do.

PF Transfer:
Usage of RTI can solve your problem.
1) White paper and detailed query of status of application for PF number (from to respected sir format)
2) 10 rupees postal order
3) Post to local Public information officer, Epfo region where PF maintained.
See the response in 30 days and the government officer incharge of your application has to give reason with justification/answer and it will stand as a proof with valid authorized signature from a government officer.
Government officials will not give blunt replies for your RTI. You can see the accountable person for delay has to give an answer within 30 days and has to do his duty without fail.
There are large number of queries and problems regarding delay in settlement of Provident Fund dues
by EPFO.
For address of Central Public Information Officer and payee of postal order, pl visit www.epfindia.nic.in. If you cannot get these details, pl send applicatation to Central Public Information Officer of nearest Provident Fund office with postal order of Rs.10 favouring
"ACCOUNTS OFFICER, EPFO".
