Sir,
I have applied for my PF winthdrawal through my previous employer and my previous employer has submitted all the required papers, proof and documents as on january 05, 2011 to the regional providend fund commissioner 341, Bhavishya nidhi bhavan, bandra (east) Mumbai. I have still not received my PF which should ideally take 45 days to get credited into my account.

I have tried calling the EPF Office, Mumbai on the phone number provided, but un-able to reach anyone on those numbers provided.

Sir, I am a very poor women, my husband has expired at a very young age, I am having 2 small kids and am struggling verymuch in my Life, I am not getting the provident Fund dues and pension since a very long time, I had taken some social workers to the provident fund Kandivali office and they had told me that the file is under process in EDP Section and I shall get my pension within one week, almost 3 months have gone and I have not got my pension or my provident fund money, company has given me the following details of my husbands provident fund account.
"MH/MLD/36569/535 Group76 and the documents were submitted by the company on 22/01/2010
Kindly help me to get my husbands provident fund money and pension, i shall be very grateful to you

I agree, I have the same problem in Chennai. I submitted the claim through my office in January. I still have not heard from them. I'm out of the country and couldn't follow up. However, when my dad contacted them by phone, they said the claim application is received, but since they are going through some software update, it will be updated in a week online is what they said during the first week of April. No news yet. Dad tried contacting again. They are not answering phone calls.

PF office should understand that, the status information is very critical for every employee and that reduces unnecessary anxiety, which is not good for their health/life. I'm someone who is in immediate need of the settlement and this delay is just not doing any good to me.

Understanding our government procedures and processes, I'm willing to put up with the delay. But the least the government can do is, keep me updated on the progress.
