I have an amc with eureka forbes for my aquaguard water purufier.
The details of amc is as follows:
Amc no. [protected]
Customer code: [protected]
Name: p. Gopinathan
Amt paid: rs. 4, 245.00
Amc period: 3 years from 25.07.2018 to 24.07.2021
First service was done properly, changing filters by eureka forbes technician.
The equipment is working ok.
Complaints:
1. I have received a sms on 07.08.2018 at 11.40am as follows: "your service request no.... Has been allocated to technician mr... It will be atteneded shortly". At 11.40 am receiceved another sms as follows: "your service request has been attended today..."
Neither i have made a srvice request nor any technician attended.
I complained on this to know whether there is any fraud going on. But they replied that technicianwill attend. And i am still sending mails and they are replying same answer. Each time they reply that it is escalated to the next level, but their reply is same. The technician is calling every time to know whether there is any problem with the equipment. I have clearly written to them that it is nothing to do with the technician or servicing of the equipment.
2. When i checked the amc details in eureka forbes web, i found out that the serial number of the equipment was entered wrongly. So i sent an email to correct that mistake. But their reply is same as before that the tecnician will attend to solve the problem. I replied them that it is not technician; t is from their system.
Meanwhile one lady from eureka trivandrum called and asked that is it only the wrong serial number is my problem. So i told there are two problems, one is about the fraud sms i received. She explained that it is done as they did not send a sms when they did the first service. So i asked her to send a sms explaining this. If you know that is the pronlem, why your staff is sending that the tec hnician will attend. She told the customer care staff can do only that way. "what else they can do?". Is it not funny that the customer care staff not able to read a complaint and reply accordingly. And they cannot correct the serial number?
Now i have decided to cancel my amc. When i send a mail to cancel the amc, the reply was same that the reuest is escalated and technician will attend. So it is clear that they are not reading the complaint. They are fooling us. As it is difficult to interact with their staff, i have decided to discontinue the amc. Let the refund the amount i paid.

Updated by Sobhgopi There was a call from a person with mobile number [protected], introducing himself as Mr. Biju, Area Service Manager of Eureka that I should not send any e mails again on this complaint. Also he told I have to write to them that the problem is solved. He also told me that the mistake in serial number is not a problem, its only for the activation of AMC. And he also told me not to put my complaints in social media.
Please let me know whether this is a genuine person from Eureka. And also I want to know whether the mistake in serial number is not a problem or is it a fraud? Who is the owner of that equipment with the serial number entered in my AMC.

Updated by Sobhgopi Yesterday at 1.30 pm again Mr. Biju called and asked the actual Serial Number. The number in the AMC was [protected] which is wrong. I gave him the actual serial number [protected], as I believe it was a sincere request to correct the number. But still I suspect who entered the wrong serial number and why. Even after so many e mails before they were not interested to change the number. After complaining here, now they want to correct the number. Still I suspect some fraud. Please find out who is the owner of the equipment with the serial number which entered in my AMC and why. Until I get an answer, i am not satisfied and still request Eureka Forbes to cancel my AMC and refund the amount.

Updated by Sobhgopi Today I got a call from Mr. Biju, that the serial number is corrected. So now you know it is an easy matter. I complaint through on 24th August 2018 and one of the problem is solved now. Now you know that the Customer Care is not doing any thing for Customers. The Customer Care Staff of Eureka Fobes is doing nothing, except spoiling name of the company.
As the service of Eureka Forbes is not good at all, I want to cancel my AMC.

Updated by Sobhgopi Today at 11.32 am I received a call from Eureka Trivandrum. The lady asked me what is your complaint. I told I have already informed. Now I want to cancel my AMC. She told unless there is a complaint, amount cannot be refunded. I told her that service of the customer care is not good. That is my complaint. She asked me how is the service of equipment. I told I never complaint about it. So she told it is not possible to get a refund. So they are not bothered about their customer care dept. Then why they need such a dept.
