EVOK repair complaint number MJ53725

Product: Recliner 3 seater sofa
Issue: One recliner is jammed. It was tough to recline when the product was bought. Installation guy said that it will smoothen after use. That did not happen and eventually the recliner got totally jammed.

The product was bought in August 2020. Delivered in September 2020.
I raised a complaint on 26 July 2021 for calling a technician. I was promised services within 4-5 few working days.
Complaint number allotted was MJ53725.
Nobody attended the issue.
Follow up call was done on 3 August 2021, when an urgent requirement was raised in their system and I was promised service within 2 working days due to priority issue.
Next follow up call done on 5 August 2021, when I was given the contact number of local service supervisor. I have not been able to contact the concerned person till now because of call not being answered/ number being switched off.
My 1-yr free warranty period repair is going to expire soon and looks like company is not attending to this repair request just because this is covered under warranty and not going to generate additional revenue for them.

      I have ordered a kitchen chimney worth 13000 on evok. It being a Hindware platform, I had trusted it. It’s been over two weeks since my order and there’s no update. All customer care numbers are non responsive and none of the support email addresses function. There’s no way to track or cancel the order.

        I had purchased a sofa(3+2+1+1) from EVOK Faridabad on 15 March 2021 Sales order ID:[protected] . There is size mismatch issue in 1+1 set and some cracks on center table, the compliant has been registered on 3 July'21 for the same (MJ53458). i have been following up for the same and no resolution has been given to me yet.
        The service manager at the store stated he will replace the set at the earliest but now denying and not agreeing to do it.

              My side panel of bed as well as side table both are damaged .your installation person has shared all the pictures. Spoke to your representative but of no use .he is not responding to calls as well as messages

              This kindly of harassment is not acceptable..will be sending a legal notice soon as we are not able to sleep properly from last one month

                Despite several reminders, there is no response from EVOK. THe recliner is getting damaged day by day and its warranty is about to expire.
                Kindly take back the recliner and refund me the complete money. You are just a bunch of frauds.
                Not even once has anyone visited in last year and the recliner is now totally dysfunctional.
                The reclining mechanism has got damaged and is totally dysfunctional.

                  Hello, I had placed an order on evok’s website on 23rd May, 2021 and in the delivery section it was mentioned that delivery would be done in 10-13 business days. But till today 14th June, 2021 the product is not yet dispatched and there is no ethical response from Evok team. I have called at the customer care number and there is only one reply from them and that is “IT WILL BE DISPATCHED BY WITHIN FEW DAYS...” Didn’t expect that from such a big firm(Hindware). This is my last hope and I hope you will help me. Thank you

                      I order the above furniture (Bed and TV unit) on 16th March 2021. The order has still not delivered even calling multiple times to customer care and evok representatives.

                      Its been more than 3 months and the items are not delivered. I can understand the pandemic situation but I am not getting any update for the delivery date.
                      A humble request please deliver the items(if you are capable) else refund my money.

                        This is to bring to the kind notice of all concerns that I, R N Tandon, purchased a 7 seater (2+2+3=7) pure leather Sofa from Hazratganj, Lucknow. It was a Off white pure leather
                        Sofa. In the bottom of the sofa they used black paper like cloth which got torn within a year. I contacted the store personally and they assured that they will get the black color paper cloth replac but despite several request/reminders neither any one visited to see it nor it was repaired/changed and finally now the store is closed permanently.

                        Now, I am left with no choice but to seek your intervention to resolve the issue.

                          Evok carpenter, could not assemble the pieces, , raised complaint for replacement on 6 April for the study table we ordered on 23 March 2021, on line and paid in advance.
                          Since then we are waiting for replacement of faulty pieces, , delivery of new pieces and then assembling of the same.
                          No action in spite of raising requests
                          till today 28 may 2021
                          Do we have any choice ????

                              I had purchased furniture from evok store at lucknow on 28 apr. Item supplied on 29 Apr. Sofa had stains on fabric. Sofa had some defect in legs. Informed store manager Mr Amar. He promised to get it resolved by sending the fitting guy.
                              Its 3 days now. Owner of franchise Mr Bhumpender is not available. Mansger Mr Amar says, im on leave. Salesgirl Ms Nisha says, go and complain whereever you want to. Customer care asks for sales ID, which is not on bill. Customer care says, your warranty is void as bill doesnot have sales ID.
                              I have forwarded bill pics to [protected]@evok.in.
                              This is fraud and cheating by franchise store.
                              Kindly look into the whole issue. I want to return the product. Dont want to buy evok furniture again, with this type of service after sales.

I have purchased 3 seater sofa recliners and more Furniture 2 years back from Evok Ludhiana for about Rs. 450000. The recliner is defected. Your furniture quality is very bad. Please change your total furniture within 7 days or I will sue you in high court. I will lodge complaint in police station and if you will still not take it seriously I will sue you in high court. I want your response immediately or else I will rreport you in the tribune and Hindustan times. And I will also report to police commissioner of Ludhiana.

                                  My husband, Wing Commander Tarun Gupta (retired) had ordered a 2-seater sofa on 1st September 2020 with down payment of Rs 16191/-. The material use is engineered wood.
                                  After a long wait, the sofa was delivered post many reminders in the first week of October.
                                  By December 20th, the cushions of the sofa are distorted and one panel is cracked. Mind you there are no children in the house to jump over it. Total sitting on it till December 20th was not more than 50 hours, nor only one seat of it is used for a prolonged period of time. Have attached a few images to show the present condition of it.
                                  Considering the brand image of Evok and satisfaction from the previous product, we are much disappointed with the quality of this sofa against the money and time (delayed delivery) it has costed us.

                                  We made a complaint on December 20th to [protected]@evok.in. We requested them to revoke the return policy and please take it back and refund our money. We understand that their return policy of 15 days, but that does not address the issue of the product (solid as furniture) going bad within 60-90 days.

                                  We received no response. A reminder was sent on December 29th, and received an acknowledgement of the receipt of complaint but till date nothing has happened. No action, no further response from their side.

                                  We stay in Noida.

                                  Looking forward to your positive response.

                                      We have raised multiple complaints regarding the Sofa purchased in February 2020, last being in Sept 2020. It's been 5 months, but NO VISITS or NO CALLBACK. I did visit the local store but they are saying the corporate structure changed during the lockdown so they cannot help with the warranty.

                                      I also spoke with Mr. Rakesh Kumar (at +[protected] but he CLEARLY told me that there is NO WARRANTY. If my education is right and if I can read properly, the bill say's 1-year warranty.

                                      I tried calling at one of the numbers (+[protected] mentioned on their website, but it seems like that number is no longer active. Their support executives from[protected] shared another number of Ms. Pooja (area head Ludhiana), trying to reach her no response. After which I had to call again at[protected], just to know Ms. Pooja is short staffed from last 6 months and cannot help.

                                      Now after sending them an email, I got the below response (Attached the screenshot of email and invoice):

                                      After perusal of documents, Kindly note that the products were sold to you at heavy discount on AS IS where basis which comes with No Guarantee No warranty.

                                      I am not even sure what is AS IS scheme is and why wasn't this mentioned on the bill when they already put a stamp saying NO EXCHANGE OR REFUND PURCHASE MADE THROUGH THIS SCHEME.

                                      I have raised another complaint for the Stone Table (Italian Marble) in the same email conversation.

                                        Its with tough task I was able to get product for the order is 14321413 after 1 month of struggle which is fusion leatheratte 3 seater sofa on 01.02.2021.I have escalated the issue till your ceo level..on the same day I have requested for assembly of the product and customer executive has informed that technician will contact within 48 hours.today being 48th hour nobody has approached for assembly of the product..When I am contacting customer executive they are informing due to technical issue they are not able to assign carpenter..What's is this type of customer service..this is how you are dealing your customer's..they can't assure about assembly date too. There is no dedication and no assurance for service and customer satisfaction. I will never refer evok for any of my relatives or friends..I cannot wait further and I want to reslove the issue within another 2 days otherwise i will be forced to log complaint in consumer court as well as sent legal notice to your firm..please note to take action appropriately.
