Leather recliner 3+2+1 set purchased for Rs-95000 from EVOK store (located in Shipra mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, U.P.) started peeling after 1.5 years, and now after almost 4 years, it is in very bad shape.
Product purchased for Rs 95K from a branded/reputed store should have durability, specially sofa set which is used during most time of the day.
I visited store few months back, they said, very casually, clothing of recliner set can be changed, call customer care for booking the visit, it seems they were not affected by this type of damage to the reputation.

I don't know how this complaint will be tackled by the store now, after almost 4 years of product purchase, but it makes me really unhappy to see the product in very bad shape purchased using hard earned money.

    I have purchased a readymade kitchen from evok and the door closer of the kitchen is not working. Whenever i close it. It goes at a very high speed and the stopper is not able to stop it. I tried to call at the store and even the cutomer care but no one picks up the calls. I hope they resolve it asap.

        Hi,

        I had placed order on EVOK (Hindware) thinking India made lets go for it. Placed an order & amt paid fully on 28th May, the order no is 10772823. Next day when i saw it mentioned as shipped on 28th May & this status is same till now.
        Has per there policy max TAT is 15 days waiting & then tried contact to them thru customer care No., Mails, Online control form, Head Office & other associated people (Shika, Ashu etc..)for more that 20-30 times with no proper response none of them.Customer Care team were not even able to procide the shippmet details, they always use to say we dont have acces for thjis that bla blabla... And one super lady gave response to my 15 mails twice with std response as 48 hrs time will get back. In case of head office staff & store mgr said will get back in 1 hr never responsed as usally & only aftr the reminders they got back saying still not dispatched etc...bla bla.. Apart from this i have raised more that 5 time request for refund, as its been more that 1month a week & in person asked to Store mgr (Mashu) to refund the amt by today EOD. Only once i receive the product on my hand they will make payment.

        Even this part is not yet done.

        I am sick & tired of this EVOK. Unethical & fraudulent company.

        Now i demand from them to refund my amount with penalty of all these days, each day delaying penalty to be paid from them. They are enjoying on MY money months together with any responsibility.

        One more last point the fact i got to k now from one of thr staff is that after repeated calls to the head office staff, my ordered was dispatch on 30th Jun or 1 july due to the negligence from staff delayed.

        I have all these phone conversation done recorded.'

        I NEED FAIR JUSTICE.

          I have ordered a product on 28th May 2020 with full payment, But still not got the product nor amt refund not the status of the shipment. I have complaint more that 25 time thru CC call, mails & even to head office. Still no response its bean 1month 1 week.

          Customer service is pathetic, unethical behaviour. Its basically fraudulent company .

            I purchased this expensive alex new recliner sofa 3+2 last year on 27th april 2019 believing in branded product. But within 6 months i was proved wrong as the leather part of the 2 seater sofa started peeling off. After raising the complain and several follow ups they finally repaired it. At that time only i raised the concern to the evok person that i fear that the same would happen with the 3 seater sofa as well. I was quiet disappointed with the quality and asked to change this product which they denied. Now before it completed a year my fear came true. Leather part of the 3 seater sofa also started coming off. I raised the issue on 23rd april 2020. But they replied that due to covid-19 lockdown it might get delay in resolution. But after writing so many times they replied that they can't take request for out of warranty product. But to bring into notice, the issue was raised within warranty of 1 year. But they have not contacted me even for a single time. I am fed up with this product and want them to change it. Also the company should seriously think about their product quality if they want their business to exist in this competitive market as we have better options. Please resolve it asap.

              6th june - i have placed the order no: 10869199

              7th june - cancelled the order within 24 orders as per your cancellation policy due to size constraints which you have acknowledged as well on the same day.

              Despite this you have gone further and created the sales order on 9th june and despatched the product.

              I received the product yesterday at my doorstep despite 20+ mails instructing to either exchange or cancel the order.

              The dimensions are too big for my hall and as i have requested earlier kindly arrange for cancellation/ exchange for this sofa (https://www.evok.in/travis-fabric-l-shape-sofa-left-grey/p/[protected] as soon as possible.

              Kindly address the situation as it is going on for 3 weeks now with no proper response other than the template one.

                I had ordered a shoe rack from evok-hindware on 31st may 2020, which reached me in kolkata on the 22nd of june 2020, (Order no.[protected]. They had said it would take 10 to 15 working days but it took much longer.
                The next step was requesting for the assembly/ installation which was done on the same day that the order was delivered (Ref no. Mj50009) and again it was to be done within 3 to 4 working days but has still not been done by the 30th of june 2020.
                Further, it is extremely difficult to reach the customer service personnel, and even on occasion that the line does get connected they are unable to figure out anything on their own, and even resort to telling me that such an order did never exist, very surprising, how it was delivered then.
                Would be extremely grateful if the personnel in charge do manage to complete the assembly/ installation over the next month, because the delivery itself took them a month.

                  Had purchased the Magna recliner set 3+2+1 2 years back. The quality of Sofa rexine cover is very poor and within a year of purchase the sofa cover started pealing off. Its in a very bad shape now and the rexine cover needs to be replaced. I have also raised a complaint reference number: MJ49950 with evok customer care its been more than a week and no responses yet.

                  Looks like along with poor quality, customer care needs to be improved as well.

                        I ordered two recliners; three seater and a one seater. I placed the order on 30th may 2020 and was charged on the same day. We were given commitments of delivery in 8 days. Till today we are waiting for the order and we got to know that it is still not shipped. When we call the person named rakesh kumar, he does not answer our calls. On 13th june, he again committed that our order will be shipped on 14th june 2020 and we will get our awb#. However, the order is still not shipped and no one is answering our call from evok. We have emailed them but have not received any response. Total bill value is rs.49, 600. We feel cheated. The order # 10797983

                          I purchased an expensive wooden dining table from evok faridabad store on 14th march 2020. Order no.[protected]. The table delivered had various problems s. A. Mismatch of 2 legs, some scratches on the table top, which the delivery person acknowledged and agreed that the table shall be replaced. Delivery manager too agreed, upon sending the images through mail and told us that it will be replaced within 10 days.

                          Just after that lockdown happened and everything got closed. We understand that it was not possible to get a replacement during this time. However, since lockdown has uplifted, we have been contacting the executives and delivery manager multiple times. Everytime we call, we have to explain the whole thing again and again and they say we will check and do not respond for days. Today again i called and explained he said that thoda bohot fark to hota hi hai delivered product me.
                          This is the kind of cheap retailer reaction we get from buying from such a big brand. I am extremely dissapointed with evok customer service. This has happened second time and i will never recommend anyone to buy from this brand. When we pay such a huge amount we expect a good after sales service which i failed to see with this brand.
                          I would request evok higher management to resolve my problem at earliest and save their reputation and my time.

                              Dear sir,

                              I placed an order 10594971 on 12 may 2020 on evok website by making a payment of rs 35090 through net banking and was informed that the order would be delivered within 10-12 days.

                              I made multiple calls to their customer care and they handed me the contact no. Of multiple persons including their warehouse manager naveen's no. However, we do not have any status of the product neither they are allowing a cancellation request of the order and refund of the amount paid. The website also does not provide any update.

                              They have already harassed me a lot and i would like to get the refund of the amount i have paid as they are not capable of handling the customer's order. Please help me in getting my refund.

                                Hi evoke,
                                We went to your shop today, really got demotivated by such a worst service. We went and we're looking at the products over there, suddenly an item a statue of Buddha was kept there, whose cap felt from my hands as a sleep of hand. It can happen from any customers. We were ready to pay, as they said now you have to pay for this whole, we requested for discount as the it was useless without cap, also we ask if they could replace WID any other thing as a cover, they started behaving rude. Meanwhile the store manager name Upendra Manjhi (emp.ID -ER01487), of Ghaziabad unit Shipra mall came and started saying you have to pay the whole money any replacement or discount cannot be done, said us rudely, without even trying or consulting with any senior. We said okay give bill against it, he provided manual bill, which was not proper system generated invoice. They said we giving you 4% in manual bill and in system generated you will get 3% discount, it was really fraud thing they were doing, then also we said we want proper system generated invoice. So they started making invoice in desktop, which was been done by 3employee and one manager, total 4person was preparing bill in desktop. Moreover they were not having the product code also, manager was calling different units to know the product code. This was really so unprofessional. No company works like that. Also it took 1hr. Meanwhile we asked no of senior s but manager was not providing, after saying it several times, final he sent no of Mr Gaurav Sodhi, Area sales manager, we spoke to him, he also said the same. Both were laughing and talking Dekho na samjha rha sir ko nhi samajh rahe. Now finally he provided the bill which was system generated, we said to sign and stamped. But after checking it we found it was not a invoice, it was a Sales Order. My God how this company works, so pathic and worst. They don't have customer support to talk to. Nobody receives call. So unprofessional Evoke in Shipra Mall is. At the same time one more client also stated complaining that we purchased sofa, which had scratches all over. Evoke should know how to behave and do marketing.

                                  I bought magna new recliner 3+2+1 sofa set from gurgaon evok showroom for rs. 1.14 lakh in october, 2017.
                                  I am sorry to say that the leatherette of the sofa shows cracks at different places within one and a half years use. Recently, my son who used this sofa hardly for one month regularly for watching football matches, one of the seat's head-rest leatherette skin started loosing big patches and a gap of six to seven inches with other seats tilting to one side. At the time of purchase i was given assurance that this leatherette will go for at least 10 years but this is the condition after using it partially for two years. We are three persons only in a family and all are working and use this sofa rarely for sitting purpose on holidays only.
                                  After complaining at customer care, they said they will charge 30, 000+taxes for repairing of leatherette and if the frame of this sofa requires any change for the gap in seat, they will charge according to the cost of the frame, springs etc.
                                  This shows the poor quality of product of evok that even paying after a lakh the sofa will require another half a lakh for repairs only after a year or so. The quality of product sold by you is of very poor and only false promises were given to us that it will not give any problem for at least ten years by evok representatives. I also assure that in future i will not go or recommend anybody to buy any evok product.
                                  My suggestions to evok is to look into my complaint and give me a concrete solution to my problem.

                                    We have ordered a dining table (6 seater, model name-della, order no:[protected] with teak finish from evok showroom, marathahalli on nov 30, 2019. They delivered the product on dec 9 which was not at all polished. So we raised a complaint for the finish and polish of the product (Complaint no:mj47763) with the customer care on the same day. A technician came and raised the complaint on dec 12. We called the customer care many times and after one month, they told they will pick up the product, polish it and send us back the product. After one week, on[protected], they have sent a new piece with the same finish (Can't say it is a finished one) they have delivered as before. We called the customer care again and again and they informed to pay charges for the assembly. Its been one week after the delivery and no one has come for the assembly till now.
                                    We are very unhappy with the product quality and finish and the service. We don't want this product. So please return the product and refund us the money.

                                      I bought a new magna new reciner sofa set from evok showroom at kalyan nagar bengaluru during feb 2018.

                                      The upholstery used on the sofa set was sub standard and the upholstery started tearing i made a complaint to evok customer care. After repeated complaints their representative called on me and informed, since warranty is available only for one year i have to bear the cost of replacement of the upholstery at a cost of about inr 30k.

                                      I sent a message to the company whether changed upholstery would last a reasonable time or should i again change it after 2 years.
                                      The company never replied my query.
                                      If sofa set lasts hardly 2 years why such iterms are marketed by company like hindware subsidiary.
                                      I seek your kind intervention in resolving this issue.
                                      If i have to incur additional expense of inr 30k to change the upholstery, i expect it to last for a minimum of 5 to 7 years.

                                      I got the sofa 3+2+1and it started to develop cracks in the leather then they redone the 3 seater. Later for all it started to happen. Now it's 5 years all the leather material is torn and worn out . Very awkward looking after spending huge money for this. It was sold as leather sofa but this is the current condition. Need this to be fixed..

                                        As per attached photos. I have complained in evok customer care on dated 02/11/2019 and this sofa was installed at below address on dated 7/10/2019 and within one month your sofa was damage form inside and skin peel off in so many place as attached photos

                                        After 2.5 month sofa not repair or replace till date, as per mobile no user [protected] (Mobile no. Provide by customer care) sofa will replace with in 10-15 days but till date i am waiting for and favorable response.

                                        I really very disappointing with evok product and services and i will discus this case with my legal adviser to claim via consumer form"

                                        Evok customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        Kitchen drawer non-functional, The drawer installed in my kitchen by your company is not functioning properly. Kindly resolve the issue at earliest.
                                        I bought the King Size Beds from EVOK store at MG Road, Gurgaon in June’19. The beds create lots of noise while sitting and getting up from bed. Even during the sleep when we turn sides, they create lots of noise. Either there is some issue with the hydraulic or the wooden fitting is loose. Please can you help to get this fixed.
