I have taken a Exide life market shield policy from Exide. My Policy number is 02258797 . I have taken this policy on 19th August 2011 which has a five year lock in period. I have paid my premium without fail. According to the statement to me for the duration 19th Aug 2015 to 15th Feb 2016, my Fund value is 369617.82 and the second statement that I received for the duration 19 Aug 2015 to 17 Aug 2016 my fund value is 410676.56. When I approached the Bhimavaram branch in Aug 2016 to withdraw my amount, the person at the branch said told me to continue my policy rather than withdrawing it. He took a scan copy of my policy statements without my permission. I was not interested in extending my policy further. I said I'll come back with the complete documents to withdraw my amount. After couple of days when I visited the place, the same person said that the fund value has been printed wrong because of technical issues and my fund value is some where close to 2.8 Lakhs. I was SHOCKED!!! How come technical issues happen twice at different period of time with wrong fund values. I said I shall drag them to the court by posting on IRDA website. There comes another SHOCKER!!! Without my knowledge, they have created my profile on IRDA and logged a case on my behalf on IRDA website and they have interacted on that platform and closed that case!!! CHEATING!! No one from their Team really cared for me despite my many efforts reaching them!!! I have all the policy documents and statements that they sent me.

I Vikas Wahi policy no 03498824 wnts to cancel policy from immediate make policy payment. but agent not cancel the policy.

    Hi, I am a policy holder with Exide Life Insurance Company since year 2013 and it's "Secured Income Insurance Plan". My Montyly Premium is around Rs. 2201 which is paid in more than 3 Years premium amount (Monthly Basis). This is my 3.5 years I am paying my premium. When I inquired about the procedure to surrender my policy, they said that it's only 50% of my Premium Paid Amount i.e. around Rs. 49, 000. In simple words, I'll be losing 45% of my Premiums Paid. I don't know on what basis, Exide Life Insurance can take 45% of my money into their pocket. The customer care executives also repeat the same answer what they see on their system(s). As per law, after Locking Period, I should be getting at least my Premium Paid Amount (if not bonus) but they are excluding the accrued bonus Rs. 32500 and also assuring only 50% of my paid amount. If I had paid my Income Tax I'd have at least saved Rs.90, 000 in my taxable income. So, I have consulted my lawyer and working on to file the RTI petition and also to reach out to RBI to get justification on this issue.

      मेरा नाम पद्मिनी सिंह है मैंने आप की कम्पनी से एक पालिसी ली थी जो कि एकल प्रीमियम पालिसी कह के दी गयी थी पालिसी संख्या[protected], परन्तु जब मेरे पास कंपनी की तरफ से एक पत्र आया जिसमे प्रीमियम जमा करने के लिए लिखा था तब मैंने उस पालिसी बांड को खोलकर देखा तो वह एक लगातार देने वाली पालिसी है,

      महोदय मै एक गृहणी हूँ मैंने एक एक पैसा करके 5 लाख जोड़ा था, आप के यहाँ से रूचि शुक्ला जो की लखनऊ में कार्यरत एक कर्मचारी है, उनके साथ एक पुरुष भी थे जिनका नाम मुझे याद नहीं है ने मिलकर मुझे धोखे से यह पालिसी दे दी, मुझे उन्होंने यह कहा की आप का पैसा 5 साल में दुगुना हो जायेगा, भविष्य में किसी तरह का कोई भी पैसा देने की बात नहीं कही गयी. अब मई लगातार पैसा कहाँ से दूंगी, मेरे पास कोई भी पैसा नहीं है,

      इस पालिसी के बारे में मेरे पति को भी कुछ नहीं पता है अगर उन्हें लगातार हर साल 5 लाख देने की बात पता चलेगी तो मेरा पारिवारिक जीवन भी कष्टकारी बन सकता है, पूरे पालिसी बांड को देखने पर यह पता चला की मैंने केवल दो हस्ताक्षर किये थे परन्तु उसमे मेरे कई हस्ताक्षर है जो की मैंने नहीं किये. आप चाहे तो मिलान कर सकते है.
      मेरी इनकम 10 लाख दिखाई गयी है जब की मै एक गृहणी हूँ, मुझे उसमे होटल मालिक दिखाया गया है जो की मेरे पति का है और मै उसमे कुछ नहीं हूँ.

      पालिसी में लिखा हुआ मेरा मोबाइल नंबर भी गलत है,

        I am not getting back my survival benefit money from Exide Life Insurance company, so many times I reached customer care no help . I cont trust any more as I called to customer care more than 20 times to resolve my issue. I am feeling very bad in facing such trouble in getting back my money. I never such pathetic service from any company. I am harassed by this company in getting back my money, I am paying my premium amount from 9 year on time but in getting back the amount from company I am harassed by company. If cancel I will get 20% of my money only, such pathetic situation I am in by this company

          Exide life insurance is fraud company

          Hort story (Person told me to cancel old policy#and give me 11% interest on the policy as such amount 2lakh will be payable & they refund mers# 260909/- on 1st week of april. And on this behalf they told me to have new policy which again they pay me 12% per annum on the amount, whether it is correct or not) kindly confirm
          On (Jan 2017), i got a call from your representative about my renewal i ask to come at my office and he told me about the policy which i had taken is wrong as such just 3 % annual %interset was received.in such a case they tell me about an new advice that if you go through me i just give you a new policy at 11%& 12% rate p. A and also convert your old policy at 11% per annum. Which mean as told by your person i had pay rs 2, 00000/ from my old policy & we are giving you rs.260909.00 against this & not fully close this policy but eventually no premium should be paid but unfortunately any mishappening you get the same death benefit of insurance as before. Even they ask me to give cheque of rs 60000/- for the new policy & after chewue clear they refund me the amounty and refund me exact amount rs# 260909/ in april 1st week.
          Which i had a proper conversation on record. Still today dated 11:20a. M
          Concern to right this letter is from 2 different agency we get a call one says get 11% per annum and even get the new policy at 11%p. A and old policy close and we give return rs 260909/- on an amount of 200000/-
          2nd says nothing like this where will i go.
          If this type of team you have which even don;t know anything or making a fool of public than its is sorry to say that you loose your premium customer
          Unfortunately, they told that this product performances is not good (Old policy). So on the side of me i got a call from your call centre for renewal which i had not paid due to get 11% extra benefit from exide but after discussing such a thing nothing get occurs.
          Even i am reqular premium customer and if this is wrong and my policy collapsed who is responisble for this i need a proper particular reason who is reasponsible?
          To resolve the problem, i would appreciate it if you could (State the specific action you want plz take or whether its is right.
          I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem, and will wait until (Set a time limit) before seeking help from a consumer protection agency or the better business bureau. Please contact me at the above address or by phone at (Home and/or office numbers with area code).
          4 attempt is again now we got a call from accounts dept on 9/03/2017 that kindly giving cheque and we assure you to give the cheque by april 1st week of the old policy rs 260909/ at 11% phone is[protected] saying i am aviash mittal from kirti nagar

            This is Ilayaraja T contact no :[protected] .Last year October 2016, i got message, that we are providing a loan .I called to that number and they told for loan process i have to take insurance policy from exide company . Then i told i want to discuss regarding this then i tell, then frequently after that i got a call from them and ask me take the loan for the amount of one lakhs .Then i gave cheque for the amount 0ne lakhs .But after taht till now they didn't process the loan .when i tried to call them they are picking the call .And they told me that if loan is not possible we cancell ur policy and we return ur money back .But when approch for cancellation they told we gave request and is still in process .but till now i didn't got my money back pleas help me in this issue and to get my money back .

              Here's my complaint is about the exide life insurance policy. On 15.11.16 I gave complaint letter to adayar office, regarding cancellation of policies ref( policy no: 03277764 & policy no:[protected] In which one policy has been cancelled & amount refund by me. And the second one (policy no:[protected] has not cancelled and the process is on hold, amount of this policy of rs. 25000/- has Been made through SBI NetBank ing.this has been made through the agent named sayeed rafiq. But he had not gave any receipt on money and not processed policy. So here I request you to refund the sum of rs.25000/- at the earliest. You are responsible for this. If not I will take action legally. So kindly do the needfull.

                I have taken two pension policy of exide life insurance at the time of policy taken agent (Rishi Kant, mob no. [protected]) promised to refund 81 lakh after 25 year and above 3 Cr after 36 years (on submission of 3000 per month for 25 years and 36 years respectively), and i was select 36 years term policy, but after payment of 18000 for both policy for 3 month he give us receipt on which policy term mention is 20 years and after 20 years he paid us only app. 40 Lakh. so there is huge difference between agent promised amount and actual amount, now i want ny full amount refund with interest and want to take action against Agent so he will not do such fraud in future with anyone

                  Madam/dear sir,

                  The matter is that two months back i received some phone calls from no. of persons representing/pretending themselves as employees of exide life insurance co. ltd. (elicl) from different departments, one of them is mr. naveen rathore (mobile no. [protected]) and mr. arvind. believing on their wordings over the phone calls i invested in your exide life guaranteed income insurance plan (policy no.[protected] with a premium of rs. 30, 000 per annum for seven years with some of below mentioned terms and benefits in good faith:

                  1. premium payment amount rs. 30, 000.
                  2. sum assured (sa) amount rs. 2, 40, 000
                  3. premium payment term 7 years.
                  4. payout terms by elicl 8 years
                  5. money back from 8th year to 15th year @ 11% pa of sa i. e. rs. 26, 400 pa.
                  6. maturity amount at the end of policy term i. e.in 15th year rs. 2, 40, 000.
                  7. additional benefits: (i) 20% cash back on 1st premium and 10% cash back from 2nd to 7th premium.
                  (ii) nominee benefit of rs. 1, 450 per month from 1st year to 7th year

                  But when i received policy bond (with policy no.[protected] there was nothing as described above and sum assured amount was too less. then i contacted to mr. naveen rathore he said that this policy bond is agent vertical bond paper as per elcil policy and you have yet to receive corporate policy bond paper with your welcome kit. i followed up regularly with him but they kept me waiting for more than two months so that i cannot get cancelled the policy within free look period.

                  Meanwhile he suggested me for opening of an agency code in my wife’s name or my name if i have good contact with a security deposit of rs. 70, 000 for one year. believing in the name of exide life insurance and my contacts i agreed for the same but with security deposit of rs. 40, 000 as remaining rs. 30, 000 was to be arranged by him on my request. when i was issuing sbi cheque of rs. 40, 000 bearing no. 272267 as security deposit i filled up and signed a proposal form no. mb179979 (which later on replaced by someone with proposal form no. 179922 with fake sign of my wife and of me with date 26.11.2016 the day on which my wife was not even in delhi) as documentary formality as suggested by him and not for buying any policy.

                  Later on he called me for getting the above amount verified with exide verification call cell through a policy exide life guaranteed income insurance plan so that he can create my reference id and agency code with assurance that the above amount will be refunded after expiry of one year. when i asked about agency code he texted me an id reference no. exide0629a1lic and an agency code pkexide5372 (may be fake one).

                  Some days later when i was in my home town (from 05.11.2016 to 14.11.2016) on leave i received a call from mr. mukesh chandra, representing himself from a department of eilic stating that he has to release my commission along with other additional benefits committed at the time of buying your 1st policy no. 03437282 for which you will have to pay a refundable fdra charges rs. 35, 000 which will be refunded immediately at the time of release of all payment which i opposed for no payments as nothing was clarified at the time of request for opening of agency code and i held them up for many days. when returned to delhi on 15th morning i received a policy bond paper of rs. 40, 000 with policy no. 03454233 at my residential address. then i called mr. naveen about this policy for which he gave me excuse that as said earlier it will be automatically get cancelled after expiry of one year and requested again and again for payment of refundable fdra charges of rs. 29, 500 instead of rs. 35, 000 so that he can get arranged for release of my payment as soon as possible. for confirmation of such charges i asked for an email so that i can know about the breakup of payment and assurance and also for framing them under information technology act for violation of its provision if i find anything wrong.

                  I issued a cheque of rs. 29, 500 with clear remark that this payment is only for refundable fdra charges and not for anything else. as expected mr. naveen called me again for getting the above amount verified with exide verification call cell through a policy for verification purpose only with assurance that the above amount will be refunded at the time of release of total payment. again i received a policy bond of rs. 29, 500 with policy no. 03465233 hence i called mr. naveen about this. he said me he will cancel at his end and i no need to get it cancelled personally.

                  Again i received a call mr. abhinandan chaudhary, represented himself as accounts head of connaught place office to pay btr charges of rs. 48500/- for release of payment as my file is stuck with him due to non-payment of the same. now i have damned realized that i have been badly deceived by some fraudster in the name of exide life insurance. then i searched on google.com about my case and surprised to know that i am not the only victim of these fraudsters there are many persons in delhi ncr itself who are being trapped in the name of exide life insurance which is very serious matter and needs to be addressed with immediate and strict action.

                  I have surrendered all the policies at your connoght place office, new delhi for cancellation and therefore request you to process the refund of the amount paid at the earliest.:

                  1. policy no. 03437282 dated 02.11.2016 (receiving date 29.11.2016), annual premium rs. 30, 000/-
                  2. policy no. 03454233 dated 05.12.2016 (receiving date 15.12.2016), annual premium rs. 40, 000/- and
                  3. policy no. 03465233 dated 26.12.2016 (receiving date 30.12.2016), annual premium rs. 29, 500/-

                  They have accepted to cancel third policy only but will not take any action against these people as they are bringing business for them. if they would have acted on the complaints of consumer with strictness the list over here would not have gone so long.

                  I have some phone calls recording and emails which can be of your use to investigate the matter and get them penalised under various penal provisions of indian law and cancellation of their insurance agency code.

                    A Insurance policy of Rs 15000 taken from hdfc life before four years ago. Due to some mistakes in bound, returned to bank for amendment. After some time on its follow-up, its told to me that few staff with person who has policy bond given for amendment are vanished for cheating. On asking from bank for policy bond, they said No information for the same. After some time I forget it. After four year I got a call from hdfc life person named Arjun for a new policy. I told him the previous incident happen with me. He ask for my date of birth to get the detail of policy and told me all the detail as per last policy. He said, I will mark mail to my senior and they will contact you. Then Mr Alok Verma call me and said you are connecting with D2C service and you have to guaranteed this policy with two premium and service tax. For this we will collect your document and amount cheque from local insurance agent advisor. You have to follow the procedure which told by me. He did this from hdfc life with Rs 31500 bond. After 2-3 day got another call from Alok Verma that your amount is more than 1 lakh, so you have to generate a banking code with Rs 43000. Same process of documentation will process with Future Generali Insurance. Now this process start with amounts of Rs 49000, Rs 56500, Rs 100000, Rs 100000 and policy bond after one by one delivered to me. When I saw same agent on all bonds, start enquiry with customer care and related branches and confirm that I have lost my hard-working earning. These persons still in my contact for Rs 56100 policy with reliance or hdfc life for last formality of KYC updation. I have all call recordings of these cheaters with numbers, date and time.

                    I am not making complaints to enjoy myself or defame the name of exide life. You can't understand the problem that premium of Rs100000/- is how much big value for me who earned Rs40000/- per month and have to pay credit card loan EMI, home loan EMI, car loan EMI, two kids schooling in delhi, milk, vegetables, grocery and medical expenses. Pls make a deep thinking on the matter and try to catch cheaters who are defaming exide life name and destroy customers or compell to die customer. Exide is a company and Rs 100000/- is not a big valuu to exide but its a very big or huge value for individuals like me. IRDA rule is very well known to exide, but try to known customer problems also. Pls do needful. Thanks .

                    I shall be thankful to hdfc life to refund for one policy, but also want to said if hdfc life understand for one policy that cheating done then why don't try to understand for another one. Rs100000/- is not a small premium. Don't tell customer indirectly to die or desyroy. Its not a big thing for hdfc life company, but its a very big thing for a individuals like me. Pls make a deep thinking on this matter.

                      My name is vinay kumar s, i had got a call from metis marketing pvt ltd on behalf of exide life insurance company in the month of may 2016 for health insurance policy and they told me all fake assurances like one time premium payment coverage will be for 3, 20, 000.00 for 20 years and all eligible medical expenses will be covered (Policy no #[protected]. They told that they have selected me as advisor and i can get a benefit of discount on premium amount & eligible for bonus if i took 2 policies. So i took another 2 policies # 03348950 & 03373086. And they made me fool till the cancelation period is over. I had put my hard earned money in these policies which are not benefited to me at all. I request you to please cancel all the policies and return my money. I will be waiting for your response for 15 days to settle my grievance, else i will file a complaint with insurance ombudsmen with irda. I will provide more details if you required.

                        I may inform that today at 15.40 i visited your branch office at bathinda (Punjab) for payment of insurance premium of above noted policy of my daughter. There was no body to attend me for payment of premium even the branch manager was not available to whom i would have contacted. The security guard informed me to come again because the concerned staff was not available at that point of time. I therefore request you to please look into the matter and advise the action taken by you in this respect. I am a senior citizen of more than 65 years old & it is not possible for me to visit the branch time & again for payment of premium.

                        I shall be highly thankful to you for an early action in the matter.

                          I have taken two policies - one in the name of my son, policy no.02954149 dtd.[protected], annual premium of rs.49997.62, premium payment term 7 years, through ing vysya bank manager, bowenpally branch, secunderabad 500011 (Now it is kotak bank)

                          And the other one in the name of my daughter, policy no.02997571 dtd.[protected], annual premium rs.29999.19, premium payment term 10 years, through ing vysya bank manager, bowenpally branch, secunderabad 500011 (Now it is kotak bank).
                          (The policy received after 3 months).

                          While taking policies, we were told that, in case if you cannot continue till completion of the policy term, you can premature close the policy after completion of 5 years and then, they shall pay you the amount with applicable bonus.

                          After receiving the policies, we just checked the name and address (The policy consists 24 pages).

                          Due to personal reasons, we approached, the insurance company to close prematurely (1st one paid three premiums and the second one paid two premiums) but they says, it cannot be closed. It is written in the policy, in case you are not satisfied, you can return the policy within 15 days.

                          In general, no person goes through the policy documents, which are legally written and unable to understand. Only what the agent says, people.

                          I am repeatedly requesting the exide life to return, at least the premiums paid by me.

                          Like lot of people suffering. The agents are not properly informing the policy rules.

                          I requested, even if i paid 5 years (Lock in period), can i get the amount, they say no.

                          Kindly help.

                            Exide life insurance is the very worst and big fraud. They are cheated me please don't take exide policies. If anyone take the policies please try to cancel your policies.                               First I got a call from exide life insurance name Sumit Bajaj & asking that are you looking for loan. I said yes then I asked what is the process then he said that you have to make a policy and against that we provide loan then he asked how much loan is required I said 30 lacs, then he said you have to pay 3 lacs per year for 10 years and the policy which you will make will become ours. Then I said ok and I said that I will make the payment quarterly which is 75k and then he inform the same to Bangalore branch and 2 people came & took signature in the policy form and and he also asked me not to inform them that I am taking loan against this so I didn't told anything to them and then I got a call from customer care also and he asked me not to inform them also and customer care people told me that you will not get any loan against this then I asked that person then he said they are saying like this only, if I tell them then they will ask for the commission. Finally the policy was made & after that he was just saying that it is under process and it will be done in 10 days then he said like that he was just passing the time. After that he said that I have to open a FDR account in the name of my wife as the business is in my wife's name so I have to make a policy of 50k and the same is refundable, he further said that he is just collecting this money to collect the document of my wife and later on he will cancel the policy and refund the amount. He has made the 2nd policy also & I have received both the policy in my hand but he has not cancelled the 2nd policy. He also sent me a letter from citibank that my loan has been approved and one person in the name of Hr Mehta whose number is [protected] has took 25k from me in the name of standard solutions account and after that he asked me to deposit more 27500/- then i said that i will not deposit any more money then he switched off his mobile. sumit bajaj told that person is fraud and loan is under process and after 2 - 3 days he said that you have to make half yearly payment and not quarterly payment and so your loan is not getting processed and then i said i will not make any further payment then he said that I will make 50% payment on your behalf and you make 50% payment then i didn't agreed for that then asked me to come to hyderabad in karim nagar and I went but there was no office of exide life insurance and he was saying that he is coming to pick me up but he didn't came. Now he is no more picking the call and I have not received any loan also. I don't want any policy which are done by fraud I want to cancel the policy and I want my money return and I will also going to complain for the same to police and media if my case is not solved as I have all the call recordings in my mobile.

                              I'm from Chennai, Today I have attended this type of call from one lady, she asking any loan required. I say yes then she transferred the call to Mr.Rajaram([protected]) he has informed all the details and he also transferred the call to Ms.Madhu([protected]) she also says the same information. I have called to Exide insurance customer care they didn't know this type of schemes from there company.

                                Policy no[protected] sale by S B Insurance brokerage is fraud,
                                There was a commitment for loan at lowest interest rate for the matter I had purchased the policy, although with middle class term I was not eligible to take this high cost policy .
                                After receiving the policy I had urged people who all had commitment for loan for speedy work so that the loan amount can be released but as their motive was not clear to me they started ignoring my call as well the grace period for cancelling the policy
                                I suspect brokerage company (S B INSURANCE, Address :-D 2, Sector 3, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India) is the main head in making this fraud to me, yes I am also a part in this fraud held because I was needy and I could not understand their odd ideas about selling this policy
                                I had complaint at Excide and at S B Insurance for the matter but no one had helped me on this even S B Insurance company compliance manager (Rahul )has odd word to me after canceling this policy
                                Request you to please look in this matter and cancel my policy as well as refund my money,
                                I am really urging you to look at this matter, money had the main matter but if this money is used in finding the culprit i am okay to loose but please try no other customer will fall prey as me .

Please take strong action against such people and company. And one thing also I want to know how could possible any phishing without the help of the company. because he need a cheque favour of a company name, is that Possible ?

                                      I would like to inform you, we have one policy in your company policy number :[protected]. 3 year ago monika and radhika called us. They told us they have 5 year plan policy in ing life insurance with medical cover, if medical payment going more than rs. 500/- ing life insurance is responsible to pay us. We didn’t get it also card with this 3 years. After all we hand over the money to mr. Amit after two weeks i called him, we paid you rs. 7500/- but you didn’t give us the slip or receipt.
                                      After all he suddenly send the receipt from radhika email id (See in attach id is :- [protected]@gmail.com). Today we need some money for our relatives operation. When i went in emergency to ing life insurance office in chandigarh for terminate the policy, they told to us this policy for 15 years (Traditional plan), i am totally shocked. It’s really totally fraud and second they wrote wrongly phone number in all forms in documents they wrote +91 [protected] instead of + 91 [protected], it’s means they didn’t like ing hod dept. Contact us directly because of they are doing totally fraud.
                                      We have request from you, please do the needful steps for us. We need money for that case. And also do the need full step with your staff as well because they are guiding to the person wrongly side because of little bit commission.

                                      Private limited companies doing frauds should be penalised and strict action should be taken like METIS MARKETING PVT LTD.

                                        I got a call from mr deepak sharma [protected] he told me that under my lic dividend which i received because my agent invested part of my money in exide insurance and i am suppose to get for 97685, he gave me my file number lic2971r, direct to customer code: k00271058. He said do you have any exide documents to which my answer was no, he said you do one thing ill connect you to an excide insurance person and you take up a policy for 28500 which will be refunded to you after you get your dividend. He said that you need to take up this policy so that excide company will register you as a customer and then i will create a direct to customer code for you so in future you would get direct dividend in you account. And like a novice person, i got the policy from excide company. Yesterday his boss or college kapil sharma called me [protected], +[protected], [protected], and said there are three forms which have come along with you d2c code, if you take silver/gold/platinum and invest again in exide for 50000, 65000, 70000, you would get returns for lakhs. He told me unless i choose any of the silver/gold/platinum options, i will not get any dividend of 97685 inr. When i told him today that i dont want to choose either, he started yelling at me and told me i am saying no at the last moment and he does not have time to deal with me and hung up. When i called up deepak sharma he said to take either of these options. Deepak sharma also told me that he will be making sure i get my dividend and 28500 rps back even within 1 year from date of policy purchase.
