Hi. First of all I'd just like to say that this is more of a constructive review and advice. It is not a complaint so don't worry. But should be forwarded to the team.
The helmet that I bought (described in subject) has arrived just a few days ago, and I am mostly happy with it, except for a few areas.
I am from Europe, and having only been in India for 4 months, I already got the impression that Fastrack is a fairly good quality brand at low cost (for Europe at least).
Because of that I thought to immediately purchase a helmet based on the knowledge that the product would be well designed, look great and be good for money.
On the most part it is, except for one area, and quite a vital and uncomfortable one.
I am a male, and have no problems with wearing a helmet 580 size. The one I bought was in fact 600. Because of this I thought my head would have more than enough space. Most of it fits perfectly. However the cushioning by the ears is far too padded. So much so that my ears get completely squished every time I put the helmet on. I even have to stick my hand inside and push them the right way so they aren't folded, and even then they are pressed so tightly it tends to hurt after about 30 mins. I wear a pollution mask as well when I ride. One that wraps around the ears, and because my ears get folded and squished when I put the helmet on, the pollution mask keeps getting pulled off my face, and I have to do at least 4 attempts before everything is all good and in place. It gets quite frustrating. I'd recommend cutting it down a bit with the cushioning by the ears so there is more space. Ears are fragile and need a bit of room.
I have been using a hair dryer every now and then, heating the cushion and trying to push it back, and it seems to be getting a tad better but I thought if you could fix this I wouldn't have a single bad word to say on them at all.
