I got the below email from Fed Ex and shared all the documents as requested.
Also, sent Merit Letter what they requested.

Brief about the shipment: I work for a company in Switzerland and my company shipped my laptop, Laptop bag, charger, head phones to India. the same I have written a letter and sent. No update yet and no response from fedEx team.

Below from Fed Ex team:

If value proof documents is not available, kindly provide declaration letter and mention the AWB (Tracking) number with Date (addressed to ‘Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Courier Cell, KIAL, Bangalore) please mention in the letter requesting customs to clear the shipment on merit assessment on the fair market value and specifying that valid reason why the Value proof is not available and explaining what exactly are the contents of the package, its use, and purpose of import and also please mention value of the package.

Please allow us 48 to 72 hours for the clearance of your shipment, post receipt of documents/clearance instructions.
In case of any further requirement, we will get in touch with you at the earliest.
Warehousing Fees:
Shipments pending clearance for more than 3 days from the date of arrival are subject to the following demurrage/warehousing charges as applicable:

From 4 to 10 days (INR 2.2 per kg/day) or (INR 10/day) whichever is higher
From 11 to 20 days (INR 3.3 per kg/day) or (INR 20/day) whichever is higher
From 21 to 30 days (INR 4.95 per kg/day)
More than 30 days (INR 6.6 per kg/day)
Re-imbursement charges:
Submission of duty charges on your behalf will attract a fee* as follows:
Duty Advanced up to INR 10, 000 INR 300
Duty Advanced above INR 10, 000 2.5 % of the duty paid amount

    My shipment is at bangalore and it states only delay beyond our control, it is unsure where it is. I tried to reach fedex team, everyone gives me a different answer, i have been given a mail id to contact, but i get only out of office replies, this is making so worried.

      This was regarding the parcel ( a birthday present) which i sent via Fedex on 16 feb 2022, tracking no[protected] from australia to india.
      The parcel was sent on 16th feb 2022 and it reached customs in delhi on 19feb 2022. After waiting two days i called fed ex india, and one of your customer service representative told me it was hold for custom clearance.
      Two days silent and again i followed up to your customer service india and then they asked me to submit some documents to kyc fedex. I submitted the documents and then one of your representative told me your kyc is approved and we will delivered the parcel on Monday(28 feb 2022).
      again after two days they said my parcel is still under process for clearance. I don't understand whats going on. Yesterday one of your representative gave me a landline number to call you but no answer. Customer service hung up in between the call so many times.

      I already paid the $495.80 now i don't understand what money you are talking about.

      It was under a express delivery which was supposed to deliver on 22nd feb 2022. And i was the one who keep on calling and asking about the status.

      And now today i received this email saying in need to pay Rs.15333 (almost $300). Are you for real??
      For the stuff worth $300 i paid $495.80 for delivery and you asking me for more money.

      On 3rd march 2022 revised invoice submitted.
      Today is 7th march2022, just did a followup myself, again they dont know the exact status of my parcel.
      Bad experience so far

The KYC department reached out and asked for KYC paperwork. I had since requested FedEx US to update receiver information to her personal name.         I have 2 packages from US to India.
        They have asked for few documents and I have provided all the documents. It’s been 2 months now, every day my day starts with calling fed ex customer support, asking for update on package delivery. there is no response to any emails and whenever I contact customer support they give different update.crazy reason like, pending for screening, shortage of custom staff, really pathetic service of FedEx… I don’t understand reason of delay. Please advice

          Bangalore facility kept it on 17th February 2022 and gave a grievance number C[protected] stating that it will be returned in 3/4 days t is 3 weeks now and still my shipment is not yet returned to me. Please help to return my shipment held in local facility.

            Dear FedEx,

            My package[protected] was supposed to be deliver, first on Tuesday 2/2/22, then it was rescheduled to 2/3/22 between 8:30am-2:30pm. Then it was further delayed to 3/2/22 before 8 pm. Now it has, again, been delayed to 3/4/22 before 8 pm.

            I just talked to your customer support. He told me I could get it tonight before 8pm or likely Mon, 3/7/22.

            As you know, this package requires signature so I need to be home to wait for it. The problem is they I have to work and can’t keep sitting at home waiting for your delivery person. This has been wasted a lot of my time and causing me to having to cancel other appointments.

            Can you please help me get this package deliver to me today as I have already taken time off from work?

            This is horrible service and it’s very frustrating!

              One of the WORST services from FedEx India. The package was sent from the US to India (Pune, Ravet 412101).
              It took 2 months to get the package details and finally when the package reached Pune (Hinjewadi) as per the tracking details. The delivery person purposely entering incorrect status on the tracking page, I'm at home and did not received call and he is entering the tracking status as "Customer not available, Business closed". I called customer service thrice and they of no help.
              FedEx customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
              Today I received notification the product is delivered and however I did not receive the product yet. It's a huge fraud FedEx India doing to customers. I called the customer service and they informed the supervisor will call within an hour and now its 4 hours no calls.

                Dear All,

                My name is Siti Hazwani from Colas Rail Asia Sdn Bhd based in Malaysia. We have recently shipped a laptop to one of our employee whom is currently working remotely from India.

                The said laptop was shipped (shipment number available in subject) on 3rd February 2022 from Malaysia to India, however till today the laptop is still with FedEx India pending for custom clearance. We have submitted all the required documents requested but till today the shipment is not send yet. Appreciate your assistance to on this matter as this has cause a delay in our work progress since the employee has been working since early February 2022 without a laptop.

                  This is regarding Airway bill[protected]. I am just a housewife who lives in the USA and sent this package to Salem, TN early Feb. The package should have reached by Feb 15th. We didn't even know about the procedures around KYC (no one in the US FedEx office) told us about it. Finally, we figured that out, cleared all the hurdles - or at least we think we cleared the hurdles. But the package has still not reached the recipient! No one will respond to our emails. The FedEx tracking system doesn't tell us what is going on. We have sent numerous emails to even individuals. This utter lack of responsiveness and communication is just utterly irresponsible of FedEx. I literally feel like crying sometimes because I feel so helpless and don't know who to contact to get this resolved and get this small package delivered. Can someone help ?!

                    I’ve been having issues with my packages delivering through FedEx because my packages never makes it to me. Every single time I call the customer service number I found on Google they can never give me the answers I’m looking for. Launch an investigation with your employees because they steal people packages.

                      The concerned grievances redressal board FedEx
                      Hello,
                      This is Soham Erande. I am writing to you about an international shipment AWB No.[protected]/60 from the US to Pune India which I shipped on Feb 20th. It was supposed to be received by Feb 28th. I started receiving multiple calls from several FedEx representatives each day since Feb 23rd providing ample (mis)guidance and instructions. Everyday, something new comes up. Below is the synopsis.
                      Day 1 (Feb 23rd) - Over call, I was asked to tamper the original invoice to include 'Baggage shipment" in it and involve the CHA to get the package cleared and delivered to my place. The representative was appraised of the fact that the concepts of CHA and baggage shipment are new to me and never indicated during shipping. Only thing mentioned during shipping was "Consignee will need to pay for customs and taxes". The representative shed off the responsibility saying "We don't do this" and asked me to Google search for CHAs and if I am not able to arrange one, I should not allow the shipment (informed as already in air) to land. Any delays and customer has to bear the costs.
                      Day 2 (Feb 24th) - An email asking to provide KYC documents and updated invoice was asked for, from the same representative, mentioning the costs for delays highlighted.
                      Day 3 (Feb 25th) - Another email asking to upload some documents to KYC portal was sent (from different email ID). A declaration was also requested for consignee's name. I complied. The declaration was rejected. I called customer care to enquire about CHA, I was told that CHA is not needed in this case.
                      Day 4 (Feb 26th) - Another call was received, this time a different representative, mentioning that the declaration should also include the 2 addresses - delivery address and billing address. I enquired about CHA to this representative and I was told that CHA is not needed and FedEx will take care of everything. Once declaration is uploaded, the shipment will be cleared. I complied. The declaration was rejected. I called the customer care to enquire and I was asked to contact US FedEx team for changing the invoice to have different delivery and shipping address. After a couple of calls to the US from India from my side, I was asked to drop an email to the paperwork team for changing invoice. I dropped an email to the FedEx team keeping India FedEx team in cc. No response on this till date after followup. Another email was received with some content (greek and latin to me) around costs (and warnings for more costs to be payed from my side) from the same Day 1 representative, looping another representative. Let's refer her as Day 4 representative ahead.
                      Day 5 (Feb 27th) - The email chain was appraised of the situation and the chaos causing the delays. Also, requested to the FedEx representatives for assistance, only to get out-of-office replies. So far, it's the customer who is following up and chasing multiple teams internal to FedEx (KYC, Customer Care, Clearance, Paperwork, India and US).
                      Day 6 (Feb 28th) - Another couple of declarations were requested and rejected for some petty reasons, including "addressee is on separate line", "paper has lines", etc. I followed up with KYC team every time to understand the reason for rejections and lastly, the 3rd declaration of the day was neither rejected nor approved.
                      Day 7 (Mar 1st) - I followed up with customer care for the progress and was informed that the revised invoice needs to be procured. The representative was appraised that the response is pending from the US FedEx team. I was again asked to connect with Day 4 representative (who also is OOO) for next steps.
                      Currently, the situation is deadlock with no updates over invoice change, no proper directions on next steps adding delays coupled with some key representatives OOO and customer mandated to pay all the charges owing to the chaos and follow-ups with multiple FedEx team. As a customer, I have to run behind FedEx representatives who only warn about delay charges. So far, it has been a frustrating experience to interact with FedEx departments, who seem to have no internal coordination amongst themselves, with no hope of package being received without further delays. The delay would also come at consumer's cost.
                      The representatives emailing seem to be on an extortion job.
                      Customer chooses FedEx, gives business, has to follow-up with multiple departments, to receive inadequate assistance and to get charged heavily for delays thanks to FedEx's internal mismanagement.
                      Pathetic handling and sorry state of affairs with zero customer satisfaction.

                          My package AWB[protected] is with Bangalore customs even after the 60hrs after clearance of the package. The The fedex clearance team is not responding to my emails. The tracking system hasn't been updated since 19th Feb. The OOC has already been issued on 26th Feb.

                            Hello, I ordered something for my cousin who just had a baby and who lives in Turkey. The product I ordered was being shipped from Portugal to Turkey and was supposed to arrive on Friday, Feb 25, as I checked the status, it says the item is held for non-payment? I have yet to receive a call from the carrier to get this resolved and I'm sure it would only stay there for a couple of days before getting shipped back. Please let me know, the item has already been paid for and the shipping cost me 45 USD.

                              FedEx-Why are you harassing the customers like this? The shipment with number[protected] is still in India. This shipment reached very late to India and we asked to return the shipment to USA but still it is in Bangalore. This shipment is with FedEx from last 2 months.

                              Please return the shipment to the shipper in USA ASAP.

                              Call me or reply back to this email if there is something I need to do

                                I've sent a bag from USA to India on Feb 14 and it has reached India (New Delhi) on Feb 18 and since then it is Clearance delay - Import
                                Goods are subject to regulatory review.

                                All the docs were submitted beforehand. And still the issue?

                                My friend had sent it via UPS and it was delivered within 6 days. It was little bit more expensive but still better service and timely communication.

                                FedEx is just getting worse!
                                I've been emailing them daily and yet no response. If you're in business take responsibility of your words and at least care to reply. We are paying for the service and you have to answer

                                  Hi Team -

                                  My FedEx Courier (Tracking number[protected] from the USA arrived in Delhi, India on February 4th and I received a KYC notification from the FedEx team to get a clearance for the package. I submitted all the documents and also received an email confirmation from them.

                                  Its been 1 month since then and the status of that shipment has not been updated on the FedEx website. I've sent the multiple emails and they're not responding to it. When you try to call them they keep you on hold for 20-30 mins and then disconnect the call.

                                  Request you to please look into this and help me get my shipment as the package hold an utmost importance for me.

                                    Dear Team,

                                    I had received a swag order from one of the international company and I had paid all the transportation fee, while ordering in their store using the gift card they provided to me.
                                    Now when the Fedx Delivery Boys came to my home they were asking me to Pay an Amount of 1956 Rupees

                                    I want to know the reason for this payment ?
                                    The company in which the order has been placed has clearly mentioned that transportation fee are also taken care off.

                                    If it's not transportation fee then why is this 1956 rupees are being asked by me ?

                                      Had A missed Delivery, on February 24, 25, 2022. I got a text February 25, that delivery was attempted. I called Customer Service Yesterday, asking if I could just pickup Package. She informed me that Option Not Available, and Redelivery would be Made Today February 26, 2022 Between 8AM to 8PM.
                                      So DUMMY ME STAYED HOME ALL DAY...12 HOURS, No Delivery. Called FEDEX at 745pm, to ask where my package was. Customer Service informed Me Package would be Delivered Monday February 28, 2022 Between 10AM & 2:55PM. So I Gotta Stay HOME Again? I have a Very IMPORTANT DR Appointment at 3PM, You Are Not Going to Screw up My Appointment that took me a Month to GET! DELIVER MY PACKAGE
