Hi team,
I am really disappointed in talking about the hassle i have faced due to use of motorola cell phone. I would like to bring to your kind notice the working condition of one of your service center “ambe electronics” in noida.
I went to the service centre today as my cell phone was not working and it is showing only re-boot system, since last two-three days. I was not in town over the diwali hence could not visit earlier. During the said two-three days, i got a small dent on my phone on the volume keys (However the keys are working properly till date).
Now when i went to the service centre today they firstly stated that since the volume key is dented the product is out-warranty and we cannot do anything. They further stated that i need to get the keys replaced (Not sure what word did they exactly said) for rs. 3, 500/- post which they will be able to work on the phone. They also shared the relevant service order (So) closing the service request (Attached for your reference). However due to non-satisfactory response, the issue was raised to escalation manager and at the request of escalation manager the phone was considered for re-verification and was kept by the service centre for some approval. Few minutes back i received a call stating that no approval has been received and i can take away the phone with me.
With all this issues: i have few queries/clarifications:
1. How come dented volume button be held responsible for phone showing only re-boot system (Even the said keys are working fine) when the issue was faced even before the dent was there in the phone.
2. Why the service centre person did not consider for seeking approval at the first instance and how come they close request without even discussing with senior. Further, post instructions from manager, the phone was being kept by the service centre. Is motorola doing this with all their customer by saying no at first instance and when compliant is raised further, the phone is considered for some approvals, etc.
3. If the product is under warranty how come the warranty becomes void if the phone is just dented (No impact of dent exist on functioning of the keys dented or functioning of the phone).
Request your kind intervene in this matter as i am highly dissatisfied with the services offered.
Second mail
Even though i have raised the same compliant on flipkart site, however useless response has been given “that no complain is visible and we want to you please resend on the given email id”. We will get back to you in next 24-48 hours. I don’t understand why that process exist on your website when it is so useless. You guys don’t have any response time (However the same is mentioned on the website to show off).
What will happen if customer start doing the same thing with you guys by selecting the cash on delivery option and when your guys reaches the location, customer says wait for 24 hours in case you want to deliver the product and take cash.
