I purchased a Samsung 21L microwave oven today from flipkart.com
When i opened the package and took out the thermocoil on top, the glass used for microwave cooking came out with it, fell down and broke. When i brought this to the notice of flipkart personnel on phone, they informed me that i shouldn't have opened the package until the technician from Samsung came. This was not informed to me either by the delivery person or any flipkart communication.
The flipkart employee informed me that this information is present in their website. The consumer cannot be expected to read the website everytime he or she makes a purchase. Morever, even when i told them that i will pay for the glass, they said that i've to buy it from any Samsung outlet. Now, my new microwave is useless unless i buy this spare part.
