Its about a cash back offer that was assured to me on my laptop but later they refrained from it.
While making this order for laptop, I did not have access to the internet, So I called the Flipkart customer care. They assured me that I can order for laptop through call.
I went on to discuss all the offers on laptops with the customer care person. As I had a budget of 35, 000/-, I asked the customer care person to look for laptops in that range. He came up with a laptop the cost of which was around 40, 000/- and had a cash back offer of 10%. So I went on to book this laptop.
After a month of receiving the laptop, I didnt recieve any cashback.
In between I have called regarding this, the customer care person said that it takes time for cash back.
Again after some months when I called, they said that there was no offer like this on laptop, a completely ridiculous thing.
Then after discussing with them about it, that got resolved.
Then they came up with a new explanation that the cashback offer was only valid if I would have paid while making the order but not through COD.
Regarding this claim they made, I had a fine discussion with the customer person just while making the order.
I have asked him that the amount to be paid(40, 000/-) was not available with me right then, so I asked him if I can pay while receiving it. To this concern of mine, he checked and replied that its possible but I have to pay through my card. So I did as was said.
But now as I call to any customer care person they either don't reply(keep me waiting ) or simply deny to the offer.
Hope you take this matter into consideration.
