I've order a product on 14-Oct on FlipKart to be gifted to my wife for Diwali.
Delivery date was 23-Oct- (Diwali day)
Shipment was done to BlueDart on 16-Oct however till 21-Oct, there was no major moment hence I was worried. I contacted FlipKart Customer Service &
they assured it will be delivered by or before 23-Oct (delivery date). I
followed via Email & even they confirmed it will delivered via 23-Oct. I
highlighted them that BlueDart is not working on 23-Oct due to Diwali &
they clearly said it wont be done, still FlipKart's pathetic customer service
team kept on making vague promises & assured me that delivery will be
done by 23-Oct. There are around 4-6 phone calls which I made to their Call
centre in 2-3 days & 8-10 emails which has been exchanged between them
& me; & on calls & emails, they promised that "Yes, Delivery
will be done by 23-Oct."
I requested one of them to keep a follow up to ensure that my Diwali isn't
spoiled, but they failed to do so.
Yesterday, they said "Sorry Sir, BlueDart isn't working today hence
its not possible today"
I’ve gave enough opportunities to them. I’ve done my level best to
highlight the issue to their team but they remained stagnant. Lazy bones just
don’t want to work. Not only emails but also listen to telephonic
conversations with their call-centre staff & their floor supervisors
(Miss Akshita & Miss Saumya couple of name I
remember). If they have taken action
on time rather than given vague promises & assurance on emails, I’d
have
received my delivery & my Diwali would not have been spoiled.
Selling this Product; FlipKart makes money & by delivering the product;
BlueDart makes money but they can’t make money on the cost of customer’s
happiness. Check the number of emails I’ve sent them & their untalented
staff’s reply/ confirmation for delivery on 23rd on them. Check the number of
minutes I’ve wasted on
phone with them in order to highlight this, but ZERO action from them. I've
been under mental torture dealing with them? They spoiled my Festival? They
constantly developed hopes for delivery on a festival day & failed to
deliver?
Is this level of service we expect from one of the big Ecomm websites? They
celebrated BigBillion Day, is this how u treat your customers?
Not BlueDart but FlipKart Team is totally responsible for spoiling my
Diwali
