On 31th May, I ordered a 67 MM lens cap and a book "straight from gut" via order number OD4053104?5055. On Jun 2nd the Lens cap was delivered thru shipment number FMPP[protected] and to my surprise Flipkart delivered a 62MM cap instead of the original 67MM cap - I had to call your service center and they regretted the wrongs shipment and agreed to get back the item and the item was returned on Jun 4th.
The second item from the order number, the book was shipped on Jun 4th via WSRP[protected] and delivered on Jun 6th, and again this was out of the world instead of a book a series of cassettes were sent (yes, the 60 year old technology that no one uses now). The very same day I called again your service center to return the shipment and ask for the hard copy of the book for which your service center executive, readily agreed, said sorry and stated that the book is available and stated that wrong item (cassettes) will be taken back and the book will be shipped thru WSRP[protected] on Jun 7th and delivered to me on Jun 9th - now the real disgusting service, the service boy picked up the item from my place and delivered a new box which was collected by my mom and to my utterly surprise Flipkart again had shipped the cassettes instead of the book as per my ask.
Again, the pathetic part of calling your service desk at around 6.30 PM on Jun 9th which was attended by your executive by name "Preethi" - I had to provide the entire history to her and asked her to connect to the shift manager so that I could lodge a strong compliant and escalation, she put me on hold for nearly 5 minutes post which i was asked by IVR to rate the service and even before i could do anything the call got disconnected - neither i was connected to the manager per my ask or no update on my wrong shipment and i do not know whether there will be a refund or replacement.
This is a very poor, mismanaged, pathetic state of service by the so-called India's answer to Amazon. I have been a big user of flipkart for many years now but off-late your service is no longer meeting the standards expected or promised by you and on top of it neither your service center or your manager (assuming the executive did escalate to her/him in the background) does not have a courtesy to call back and check on my request.
I now intend to take this up with appropriate channels thru consumer grievances cell.
Thank you for the service you provided to me till now, i now have to think if i ever have to come back to your service.
