I had ordered for realme 9 pro+ for a relative at price of Rs.[protected]gb variant). Delivery boy came to our home with product and product had no damage but he said he was not able to scan the qr saying it was not registered. He said he is taking back the product now and will return it in 3 days. But nobody communicated with us. Later when I checked in the Flipkart app, it was showing refund completed. When I checked for product, its price was more than Rs.29000. And I checked for some other phones which was on similar price range (motorola edge 20) also was price hiked due to which I was not able to buy any product and later since it was very urgent we had to buy another Chinese brand which we were not preferring.
When contacted customer care for getting details they responded like mocking and when I tried to complaint about this not helping lady in cust care the other lady name Haritha was not registering complaint and played me a fool like saying she registered complaint, it is not possible to register, will register. But never registered.
Also she told that seller promised that they will give 2000 gift voucher(4000rs increase in product price and 2000 voucher) if I buy same product as this is a mistake from seller side( to avoid complaints ) but then she did not give much details and I was not in mental condition to accept such offers. I had to call in between my working time for this and they were treating like my time and money is something they can play with.
Then when I again contacted for voucher details CC person was saying there is no such voucher she may be mistakenly said that like that. I don't know why they are cheating people by showing product at small price then holding our money for 5 10 days then cancelling the order and then price hiking. There is no way to register complaint and they are not helping either. My relatives were saying I cheated and I took their money. It was not easy period for person living at long distance from family to face this bad thing in relationships with family. Mentally it has affected so much and no one was there to support in anyway.
Currently we got another Chinese branded product. But with this I lost a lot of time and got bad name when the cheating was done by Flipkart. I need some justice for they treating their customer like we are nothing and we don't have any power or we don't question anything. Similar experience was seen in a facebook group from there when I commented I also faced same experience, some persons gave me this link so that I am able to register complaint now.
Flipkart was saying they will not help they don't know anything (then why they are selling in their site if they cannot even register complaint or take any action on cheating sellers - we know only Flipkart trusting Flipkart only we buy products we don't know any sellers other than their rating which maybe manipulated ones we don't know). Seller was saying the product was damaged during shipment and it is delievery agent mistake ( we saw the product it was not damaged as I have already mentioned even though if it was damaged they could have given a new phone but not cancelling so that we had would not had to buy at 4000 rs higher price). Delivery agent is only person who even do not know what is the problem.
I need justice and this like fake advertisemens showing very low price in a prestigious company (using our trust to cheat) then cancellations without informing customer should not be normalised, they are holding the money without any service in return( maybe using or getting interest for that money if minimum 1000 people were cheated for 25000 per day then we can guess how much amount they are able to hold for no reason )and increasing price so that we would have no choice but to buy again for higher price(again getting higher amount)
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
