On 30/08/18 i purchased a bosch front load washing machine, model - wab16060in after carefully going through the product features mentioned on their website for this model. Wherein it is mentioned that the machine will work even when the water pressure is low ie "0.3 bar" technically the description means that it will work if the base of overhead tank is at a distance of 10ft (Which is totally misleading) from the tap/inlet for machine. On 3rd sep the bosch service engineer came for installation. Out right he said that this model at least needs 0.6 bar water pressure, he said only a few models of bosch work on 0.3 bar pressure and the information on flipkart site was not right, he asked me to return the machine. Immediately on the same day i called flipkart, gave them all the details, asked for a return and refund as the machine was not touched, today is 7th, first they asked for 4 days, this was absolute harassment as i had to now wash the family's clothes by hand, including heavy uniforms.. What was supposed to be a easy shopping experience has become a nightmare, yesterday someone from their customer care called and pleaded for 48 hrs and sent me a mail that the issue will be resolved by 8/09/18 4:30 pm. Today shamelessly the sent me an sms saying that they needed time till 10/09/18. According to my bill details, my return period gets over by 13/09/18. Till date they call me only to tell that they need more time. I totally regret the moment i made the purchase, even if they give me double the amount i paid for the machine i will not forgive them.. Their customer service standards are worse than the local kirana store, they have no respect for the customer and this kind of harassment is faced by many customers if you look into the verified purchase critical reviews on their site for similar products. Iam unable to purchase a washing machine as they are neither arranging for a return pickup nor are they refunding my money. I'am disgusted that such a company exists and this experience will haunt me for the rest of my life.

Complaint marked as Resolved Firstly when the service engineer informed that the product would not work with low water pressure, neither the engineer nor i disturbed the original packing, i informed flipkart within minutes, even though they registered my complaint, i called up their customer care every day, i had sent mails updating all the technical details, as to why the product description was mis guiding.after a delay of about 8 days, when they called me, i explained them patiently again.. and why they should accept the return and refund the amt paid. They heard me out patiently every time i called them..that was one thing i really appreciate. they never interrupted, my disappointment is the resolution dept. in my opinion it should not take more than 24hrs and genuine complaints should be immediately resolved.
Flipkart customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by sujatha9 By the way the distance between the base of my overhead over tank on my terrace and the water inlet for the machine is 13 feet which counts as 0.33 bar water pressure.

Updated by sujatha9 Today is 9th...have not received the call from them yet, 10 days gone..since i made them the payment...their looking into the issue is perhaps still going on...friends, neighbours and relatives are wondering "why is she being put through this harassment at no fault of hers?? it is very embarassing...i have no sane explaination

Updated by sujatha9 on 12th FLIPKART resolved my complaint, return was accepted and a refund was initiated.
Then kindly show me the data regarding the same.
If the number of purchased made from ur website will be less than my returns i'll not ask for any kind of payment.
Plz share the total order history of my profile n the returns as well so that u can justify ur statement.
