This message to you is from an ex-loyal customer of flipkart.
Before i put forth my issue, allow me to bring you abreast of the situation.
On the 29th of august, there was a flash sale on flipkart for poco f1 by xiaomi. I ordered that phone with cash on delivery as a medium of payment.
It was scheduled to be delivered on the 31st of august.
On the 30th of august, i spoke to a customer service representative of yours who told me regarding a prepay option which i will be able to find on the order before it gets out for delivery.
On the 31st, around 11:00 am, i paid for the phone and at 12:00 pm, i got a call confirming the delivery. The wishmaster asked me to pay him in cash.
I told him i had made the payment already and he said he can't deliver unless the payment is updated.
I spoke to another representative of yours who told me it'll take 8 hours to update.
Even after 24 hours, there was no delivery.
On the 1st of september, i spoke to another representative to confirm. He said that the payment was updated and i'll get the product by 7:00 pm of that day.
Today, while i am writing you this, is the 2nd of september, i spoke to the wishmaster and he has said that he won't give delivery today because of rain in the city and office being closed.
So, now that you know the situation, let me tell you my issues-
A) if there is an issue with your network with the seller, why isn't there any notification for that to the customer?
B) if the payment updation takes time, why isn't the prepay option limited to a specific time period only. Eg - 12 hours before out for delivery, so that it can be updated.
C) is this the quality of customer satisfaction that you promise? I have a paid product with delayed delivery for two days and another expected day and you let them wait because there is a bit of rain in the city?
Rest assured, i know it might not be a big thing for you as you are an organisation of innumerable customers.
Yet, today, you lost a loyal one.
