Doctor behavior not good and not listening our complaint and with coat how made laiser opration for stone stone removal and they put last year oct month he put stone and the not remove it and last stage removed .why it's one year because .moment making .

    I had surgery so I had to take a lift but the staff(Mukesh Sharma) didn't allow me to use the lift. He asked me to take the stairs.
    OPD section was very rude, I asked them to put the hospital seal on the final invoices but they keep on saying we don't have the seal.
    They will not give proper reason and I need to submit few documents so I asked them for print out and they made me run here and there and staff answer was like our system is not working, we are not receiving your email and many more excuses.
    Hospital staff is very unprofessional even their OPD staff also. They are so rude.
    Overall experience was really pathetic even after paying so much premium fee for them.

      Hi, It's been a big concern. There is an surgery scheduled for my son tomorrow, I have been calling continuously for last 1 hr but nobody is picking up the call, when a reception guy picked it up, I asked him to transfer to tpa but call got disconnected at once. I think fortis staff should have been contacted me before the surgery. No body Is even telling me the approval status. I am highly disappointed. I am a little confused now, whether I should visit tomorrow or not. My no. is [protected], [protected]

        I would like state the irresponsible behaviour from the medical staff. My mother was admitted around 11:30 am. Doctor informed the staff to send request for SDPC and indent for bone marrow transplant. It's now 3:30 pm, 4 hours since admission, but still they have not send the request for neither SDPC nor bone marrow transplant. We have been taking treatment for past 1 year now, and have faced such irresponsible behaviour now and then. They doesn't care about the patient.

          Councler name -mohanamba working in fortis hospital bannergatta road is not at all taking responsibility towards patient when ever we call her, her status is she is busy infact she won't listen regarding patient problems but tells her problems to us like she is busy with other patient it may be once or twice, but every time she says same thing taking care is their responsibility instead of that they tell their problems its not at all a good sign i request you to please look toward it

              Hi my mother got admitted in The hospital for Post menupausal bleeding, before that we visted the Concerned person for the QUOTATION for the whole package which was 80 to 85k including 4 days twin sharing bed. THIS IS CLEARLY WRITTEN BY THE CONCERNED PERSON ON THE QUOTATION.

              And after 4 days when they generated the bill it came to be 148433 Almost double.
              And when i have asked questions about the same they have come with a different unheard reason that they had to generate an open bil as your insurance company only allows open billing(in which the hospital expenses are added later on, which was suppose be included in the package)... I talked to my Insurance company i.e Paramount healthcare they said there is nothing like that, they are just deviating you from the issue.
              Can anyone answer me with a genuine reason why have you done this?

                Dear Sir/Madam

                Sub: Unethical Practices and carelessness in treatment at Fortis Hospital, Noida Sector 62

                I am a retired Additional General Manager of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., which has empanelled Fortis Hospital for IPD & OPD treatment of its serving and retired employees.

                My wife, Asha Sinha, aged 67 years, Fortis UHID No. 363056, who was operated for Ca-breast in December 2019 at Apollo Hospital, is undergoing treatment of Oncologist at Apollo Hospital. A cyst had grown on her right cheek and treating Oncologist advised her to consult a Skin Specialist. Accordingly, we consulted Skin Specialist who advised to get it removed by Surgeon/Plastic Surgeon and biopsy to be carried out to rule out any malignancy. We were advised to contact Dr. Kapil Kochhar of Fortis Hospital for further treatment.

                We contacted appointment desk through phone on 30.08.2021 and granted an appointment of Dr. Kochhar for 02.09.2021 at 03.00 PM. We reached hospital at 2.30 PM on 02.09.2021, to be told that the empanelment of BHEL had not been renewed till that day. We contacted our Doctor in BHEL who in turn talked to Mr. Parag of Fortis Hospital. It was informed to us by Mr. Parag that though Fortis had received approval from BHEL, the data was not yet uploaded in its system and therefore billing could not be done. However, he arranged consultation with Dr. Kapil as per the original appointment given to us telephonically for 02.09.2021 on 30.08.2021, even though he did not have the OPD day on 02.09.2021.

                After examination by Dr. Kapil, we were told that cyst had to be removed under General Anaesthesia (GA) instead of Local Anaesthesia (LA) and for that Pre Anaesthesia Check-up (PAC) to be done at their Operation Theatre. To our query that could the procedure be done in LA, the doctor advised that it would be better to do the procedure in GA. We were referred to OT where an Anaesthetist recommended Blood Tests, X-Ray and also referred to Cardiologist for his opinion. We got the Blood Tests and X-ray done and consulted Cardiologist on 04.09.2021 who advised to get Stress Echo done for which an appointment was given for 07.09.2021. Stress Echo was done on 07.09.2021 at 12.00 noon and consulted Cardiologist same day at around 3.00 PM with report. After going through the report, the Cardiologist cleared the patient for surgery. Thereafter, we went to Anaesthetist who after going through the Blood Reports, X-ray and Stress Echo accepted the patient for surgery. Dr Kapil, on PAC clearance, fixed 10.09.2021 for surgery in Day Care and advised us to report on 10.09.2021 at 10.00 AM. He further informed that surgery would take place at around 1.30-200 PM and advised not to take any solid food after 6.00 AM on 10.09.2021. He also advised to get RT-PCR test done on 08.09.2021 which was done and report was negative.

                Meanwhile patient developed some problem in her ear for which we consulted ENT Surgeon, (whom we have been consulting for years, at Kailash Hospital) on 06.09.2021 who advised Audiogram. We consulted the ENT Specialist again on 08.09.2021 along with Audiogram. He prescribed Steroid along with other medicines. We informed him about the surgery which was scheduled for 10.09.2021. At this, he advised to start Steroid immediately after the surgery but advised to continue taking other medicines.

                On 10.09.2021, we reported at Fortis at around 09.30 AM and admission formalities were completed by around 10.00 AM. While submitting all reports in Day Care ward to the Sister present, we also submitted photocopy of the Prescription of ENT Surgeon and told her about the ear issue. She informed that the ENT Surgeon at Fortis would be consulted for further clearance. At around 12.30 PM, we reminded her about ENT clearance. Then she sent the patient to ENT OPD. ENT Surgeon checked all the papers and patient. He confirmed the diagnosis of ENT Surgeon of Kailash Hospital and advised us to take Steroid which is utmost necessary after the surgery. On specifically asking the date by which we should start Steroid as advised by ENT Surgeon of Kailash (the treating doctor for ear) to start immediately after surgery, he informed that Surgeon performing Surgery would tell us.

                There was a chaos in OT and the patient was not taken from Day Care for Surgery inspite of our repeated follow up with all concerned right from 01.00 PM in the afternoon onwards. It was informed that the OT is not available and perhaps the surgery could not be performed on that day. It was a total failure of co-ordination between Surgeon and Anaesthetist of OT on one hand and of administration on other hand while the senior citizen patient remained without food and water throughout the day.

                Finally, the patient was wheeled in OT at around 6.00 PM. However, she was kept waiting outside till 7.00 PM when supposedly the surgery started as informed by the guard outside. Before, the surgery started, the patient asked to meet Dr. Kapil to inform him about the ear issue. She was informed that Dr. Kapil had left and now Dr. Pawan Kumar Gambhir would perform the surgery. The patient informed Dr. Gambhir about her ear issue – damage to nerve and sought his advice when to start Steroid as suggested by ENT doctor of Fortis. On this Dr. Ganbhir told her to start only after one week of surgery.

                At 08.00 PM, we were informed to see the patient in OT. While meeting the patient, Dr. Gambhir was present and when I personally asked him about date of starting Steroid, he told that this had been informed to patient and should be started after a week. Sister at OT told us that the patient had been allotted Room no. 1513 and we should wait there.

                At around 09.00 PM the patient was brought in Room No. 1513. The sister in the ward told us not to give anything orally to patient till 12.00 PM in night. She further informed me that the patient would be discharged at 11.00 PM. On asking why the patient was not being kept in hospital till she started accepting water orally, she rang up someone. She finally informed that she would discharge the patient at 11.00 PM but the patient would remain in room till 00.30 AM (11.09.2021) so that she would be under observation for half an hour after giving some water and food at 12.00 midnight. We were told to leave at 00.30 AM thereafter. I informed this to Mr. Parag who also was not in agreement with his staff and informed me that he would speak to them. However, there was no message from him after that.

                At around 11.00 PM I was called by sister to clear the bill (20% of total Bill to be deposited by employee before discharge). I went and cleared the Bill. At that time, I was informed by the person who was in Billing Section that we could remain in Room till morning. However, by that time, I had already arranged conveyance & help etc to take us home. The patient was given coconut water, Khichdi and curd at around 12.00 midnight and when she did not have any problem, we left at 00.30 AM, 11.09.2021. We were given discharge summary and were called for follow-up on 13.09.2021 at 03.00 PM at Room No. 2015, the Room of Dr. Kapil OPD.

                We reached Dr. Kapil’s OPD on 13.09.2021 at 2.45 PM to be told by Mr. Parminder Singh to go to Room no. 2033. There Dr. Gambhir, who checked the wound and changed the dressing. To our horror, there was no Band-Aid in the Procedure Room and the attendant of patient was asked to bring it. Somehow on 13.09.2021, one small tape was available which was used by Dr. Gambhir. He advised the patient to bring Band Aid on her next visit on 15.09.2021 on which he would remove one and the only stitch. I asked Dr. Gambhir once again about starting of Steroid for ear treatment to which he got annoyed and said once “I told you not to start before Saturday, why are you asking me again and again. It is irritating.” The patient, therefore did not start Steroid. Again on 15.09.2021, when we went, Dr Gambhir did not turn up and informed sister to remove the stitch and ask the patient to come on 18.09.2021.

                On 18.09.2021, we went to ENT Surgeon at Kailash Hospital who was very unhappy that patient did not start Steroid and said that due to this lapse, there could be irreversible damage. When we told him that Surgeon did not allow to start Steroid, he further said that the surgery was so small that could have been done in LA and not starting Steroid would affect the ear, probably the damage could be irreversible. We told him that ENT Surgeon of Fortis had also checked. On this, he further said that why the Surgeon and ENT could not discuss among themselves to decide the priority. Though, he gave the treatment yet he is not very optimistic about the result. This has caused anxiety in our mind about the patient’s ear due to careless approach by the Doctors at Fortis.

                At the end, I would like to ask the following questions.

                1. Why was the appointment for Dr. Kapil fixed for 02.09.2021 when he did not have the OPD on that day?
                2. Why was the procedure conducted in GA which could have been easily, and with much less hassles, performed in LA? This would have avoided the complications of not starting Steroid in time. We being non medical professionals, do not understand the implications and go as per the advice of treating doctor. This should have been taken care by the doctors at Fortis. Is the cost of conducting surgery in GA not more than LA besides the cost of tests? Also due to this unethical practice, we have not only incurred extra money but also lot of inconvenience to patient as well as her attendant, both of whom are senior citizens.
                3. Why was the date of surgery given for 10.09.2021 when the OT was not available on the date? That shows the lack of co-ordination.
                4. We came to Fortis Hospital for expertise of Dr. Kapil. However, he left the hospital as OT was not made available to him and did not perform the surgery. Why was this situation and why did hospital not inform us before hand?
                5. Why was the patient initially planned to be relieved by 11.00 PM on 10.09.2021 without observing whether patient had accepted water?
                6. Why was the patient asked to leave hospital at 00.30 AM on 11.09.2021 i.e. at dead of night?
                7. Why did Dr. Kapil not attend the patient even after surgery on 13.09.2021 when patient visited on follow-up? She was asked to report to him only.
                8. Is patient required to carry necessary bandage items when goes for dressing change? It depicts ugly side of Fortis who charges hefty bills for a small surgery.
                9. Why was there no co-ordination between Surgeon and ENT specialist of Fortis to decide about starting Steroid? Who will be responsible for damage to ear, if there is any?

                I expect you to investigate the entire incident and take necessary action under intimation to undersigned.

                  Dear Team,

                  My Father got admitted in Fortis Mohali on 29th July for Knee Surgery.

                  I settled my bill as per invoice rcvd .Bill no: 100221IPCR 02893 DATED 4TH Aug.

                  As per bill, Patient Share was 9317/- and rest amount approved by Insurance Company. I paid the same .

                  My TPA, shared the final Authorisation letter later and as per this letter, the patient share is 2817/-.

                  I have shared multiple mails on contactus.[protected]@fortishealthcare.com and also on one whatsapp no as i rcvd from a caller to share documents.

                  I have rcvd no reply/clarification/refund.

                  Need an urgent intervention.

                    My Name is mudit sinha, I have just got passed in my BPT END TERM examination and seeking for 6 months internship to my degree, so I have visited Fortis Memorial Research Institute at Gurugram, where they took me and one of my friend's interview and given us the joining date of 15 September 2021, so we have submitted our documents, fees and completed the formalities, and recently visited the Hospital and submitted the NOC from our university on date: 27 august 2021 as they asked to submit and told us to join the Internship on given date, now suddenly they call from the hospital and ask us to take our documents and fee due to any construction going on in department but when we visit the Department there is full flash work is going on without any construction,
                    First they told us to join and 15 september now they denied for the internship, first they wasted our important 1 and half month now they told to try other hospital, which are now full, so we have no way to join internship at any place,
                    They first manipulated us with the fake joining date and denied on last moment. The raputated Brand like FORTIS HEALTHCARE doing this kind of scam is not acceptable.
                    They left us no choice and wasted our important time,
                    So please instrut them to give us the Internship on given date,

                      My mother had an appointment on[protected] and the Doctor had asked to us take some test and next day when we take blood test and ultrasound . A call came from a forties lab attendee to take blood test again due to some issue on our reports and then again at evening after second test a call came that my mother report had just arrived and she has 25k platelets which should be 150k minimum and concern to doctor as soon as possible and when we visit the emergency they asked us to admit her immediately . but due to our CGHS panel, admission department denied us to give beds . Then we take her to RML (Govt.) Hospital and when they took her blood test and report came as 150k platelets and she was absolutely fine. we wasted our time, mental health, capital and concern just because we had faith in your reports this is absolute pathetic and you people had 0 work ethics with no F given to a patient physical health as well as mental health.. absolute disgusting and negligence behavior from a hospital with such a big reputed name... shame on you .

                        Fortis sector 62 pharmacist provide different salt of medicine, even i provide him prescription, clearly mention the medicine name on it even i understand the name of medicine. I have prescription and pharmacy bill also.

                            My name is Dr Permod Kumar Gupta a retired UN Diplomat. After repatriation to India i consulted Dr Anil Mandhani Urologist in Fortis Research Hospital Gurgaon. Dr advised few tests which by long pain of queuing for payment not accepting on line payment finally i was ready for RGU test.
                            1. I was asked to change for test unfortunately dress given was unclean smelling and looks not washed fro months together. Due to small it was difficult to put it on i approached the administrator a Sikh gentle men who promised to get it changed but nothing happened in next 30 minutes. In Pandemic time wearing such cloths were nightmare to me and being UN Diplomat posted whole life out of India had never experienced such chiotic/negligent and carelessness attitude of a supposed to me premier health institute of India. I decided to undergo test with soiled dress but it took 90 minuted to find a nurse for IV required for test but had no choice but to get it done though dress was stinking.
                            In this difficult period i will suggest Hospitals to be more careful on Hygiene and cleanliness but my repeated request did not bear any results on other hand i was advised to get refund of test after 3 hrs of struggling. Before escalating complaint at International fraternity and WHO i would like to get Hospital Management response and look into the whole episode deeply.

                              Worst management, had to wait 8 hrs for the platelates to ne transfused even though we arranged the donation 7 hours ago, all the staff including the team leader been seen careless and one of the staff singing songs. The patient blood count and platelates went very low because of the inefficiency of the staff.

                              I will take this on all social media so international patient think twice before coming here.

                                I am a senior citizen who has visited Fortis Mohali several times by taking prior appointment always. The place is invariably crowded and the appointment is never on time. I have had to wait for almost 3 hours sometimes just to meet the doctor for a few minutes. The doctor who is always in a rush to get rid of you due to huge crowds, there is no way you can discuss your problem/ailment in a quiet/peaceful manner which leaves you frustrated and dis-satisfied, especially when you made a prior appointment. I agree that the doctor may be busy with outdoor visits or surgeries etc. but then why make appointment with a patient ? The appointment should only be confirmed after making sure that the doctor is available at the appointed time. This would go a long way in saving harassment to seniors like me and ensure less crowding outside doctor's chamber which piles up due delayed appointments.

                                      Hi, I would like to complain against Dr Anirudh in the Emergency team. My mother had a dog bite and we rushed to the emergency. Neither did he properly attend to her and check her bruise nor did he display any sensitivity towards the patient. Instead, he asked the patient to run from one end to another and delayed treatment despite knowing that he very well could have acted promptly. I’m extremely upset by the service and I would feel scared to ever come back. Very very disappointed.

                                        Hi ...my family has been a very old and regular visitor of fortis hospital and very great ful for the service to given by fortis..but the recent experience with the hospital (the branch next to Sigma mall)has made me decide not to visit any of the fortis hospitals ever..to narrate the incident briefly -on 25th May we came down tonthw hospital to take the vaccination and did the first dose and submitted all the deatils to have it updated.the staff stated that it will be updated later and asked us to leave for the day..since this is a big institution we did trust them n left..but even after five days it wasn't updated my sister called up n followed up and the hospital staff responded telling don't worry it will be done..now when we are supposed get the second dose it still shows not vaccinated for the first does itself..to enquire about the same we reached the hospital and this staff in the admin named charan..has not updated our details and has made a big goo[censored]p and is also arrogant and not agreeing his mistake and getting this sorted..he is asking us to come the next day when WE call and has spoken very rudely and has refrained to help us with us..thus has left us helpless sad and disappointed to face this from sucha Great institution...we have plans of travelling abroad and because of this issue we are helpless n request u to take action on him n sort this ASAP
