I had purchased some products from Amazon.in. Amazon.in shipped the products through the Gati(your) courier service.
Incident 1:
First product tracking number is[protected], its reached on 31st October, 2016. The courier person did not make any attempt to reach me on 1st November, 2016. I had contacted the Pondicherry office, Cuddalore office and the courier person but the reason mentioned for not delivering the product is "Customer requested another date of delivery". The same thing happened again for next day and till 3rd November, 2016. At last I had travelled to 7+ Kilometers to get my package.
Incident 2:
Another tracking number is[protected], it reached Pondicherry on 05th November, 2016. No one contacted me till 07th November 2016 but in the tracking details the reason for not delivering the product is mentioned as "Customer requested another date of delivery". On 07th November, 2016 the delivery boy contacted me and asked me to come and get the product. I had informed him, its 7+ kilometers from my home so deliver it to my address/home. He said, I'll try. On that day, the product returned to the hub and the same reason mentioned "Customer requested another date of delivery".
Incident 3:
The tracking number is[protected]. Today(09 November, 2016) no one contacted me and the courier person contact number was unreachable for the whole day. When I contacted the Pondicherry office, the attendant said he is leaving now so contact me tomorrow. Now again the reason mentioned as "Customer requested another date of delivery" for both the incident 2 and 3 courier packages.
Now I need answeres for these questions,
1: How can you blame a customer when the fault is your?
2: If you can't deliver the product to the particular location then why do you offer to ship?
3: How come the delivery boy and the hub authorities giving irresponsible answers?
4: Why should the customer contact the courier person to get the product?
5: Will I get my product or I've to see the same irrelevant reason of "Customer requested another date of delivery"?
