I booked my bike at korba on 13/10/09 and Gati service provider of korba has ensured me and wrote in slip that my shipment assurred dilivery date is 21/10/09 but on internet booking date is showing on 19/10/09 and assurred dilivery date is 26/10/09.I my self came to Patna only to receive my shipment and I am leaving Patna on 24th.Please do the needful such that I can have my shipment in my hand soon and he can not do the same with anybody else in future.I still not got my bike.

    I am EXTREMELY UPSET with Gati Courier company for "misguiding" me on the charges for sending a Clock for repairs to Mumbai. The Mumbai guys have claimed Octroi charges of Rs 1800/- odd on top of Rs 700 I had paid for the shipment earlier. This clock is supposed to be returned back to me after carrying out the repairs at Mumbai Service Centre. As per Octroi rules, the charges can not be levied on goods that are sent for repairs.

    The Hyderabad Courier person from GATI did not give the covering letter saying that the clock is being sent for repairs, even though we had explicitly mentioned it to them. AND now I am being asked to pay these Octroi charges . PATHETIC to say the least. This will be the last time I will be using GATI for any of mine personal or corporate requirements.

      We had couriered 1 packet to our Bangalore office on Friday 07.08.2009 its included 14 small envelopes containing Sodexho Coupons and employees salary slip, but when they receive courier the packet containing only 10 small envelopes and 4 envelopes are misplaced. The outside packing of parcel was broken and its stick by cello tape.

      Please advice.

        Dear Sir,

        I had shipped 12items Package from Sikar (Rajasthan) to Patna (Bihar) Docket No:[protected], with arrange Complaint Number CS24751 because my mostly item broken by gati when I am received on date 07.08.09
        After that I am erase complaint the receiver Mr Suraj and Mr. R.K.Yadav under knowledge and they told me to produce all broken list and snaps than we do for you after that I am prepare Hard copy and Softcopy on CD submitted with receiving but still I call to them please clear my broken compensation clam they give reply please do not repair any item without our survey for claming purpose formality.

        After that we are still wait and my living place is total disturbing and we can not maintain any item before Gati survey team kindly accelerate my problem due to that attitude we are spending already 9 days after that GATI Expecting after some time they require to use & last repair all item on basis which is shown on intentionally ignoring our reliabilities

        Costumer face harassment both side one side our broken items & second they paid full advance for transportation to Gati Ltd and wait for claming delay formality

        Kindly do necessary action for Gati Transport Sikar to Patna Transportation we have all broken and damage items hard copy which is received by Gati – handover executives

        Require to Private Company more customize not ignore customers after face any reliabilty
        Dear Sir,

        Lot of time i try to inform Mr Yadav ji at Patna Branch Office for all of these that to please refund my payment as per survey by third party inspection report

        Still waiting due to miss-communication by Gati they given reply 0.3 or 3%
        this all happen by Gati Sikar office they demand some money without breakup

        and also reflecting above figure is 0.3 or 3% is making for advocate language for those customers they make easily fool as per developing that involvement

          Dear Sir/s

          My supplier sent me one parcel for garment samples from China, and attached the proforma Invoice the samples have no commercial value after that The Mumbai Airport Customs Charged some Customs duty on it and GATI asked me at the time of delivery (28/07/2009) for the same without showing me any proof of customs duty paid off. When I asked about the payment proof they take the parcel back and contacted with shipper and shipper also asked for the same. For this purpose they only passed the time 4 days and after 4 days on 31/07/2009 evening they sent the payment proof to the shipper by e-mail and same time shipper paid the customs duty along with their service charges, but after that all payment GATI still not delivered my parcel to me.

          Sir/s because of delay in delivery of samples our customer don't want to make any order with us. Please help me in this matter

            I too booked some consignment with GATI and am reproducing the letter I wrote to them.

            'I used your toll free number last week to inquire about the possibility of transporting a bike(yamaha) and a carton, to Chennai. The lady, who took the call, took down my address and ohone number as also the details of the consignment. She informed me that the bike would be charged at Rs 8.50 per kilo with a fixed weight of 150 kgs. Additionally, the carton would be charged at Rs. 8.50 per kg as per the weight . I informed her that I would keep the consignment packed and ready for pick-up. The call ended here with no Ref no being given to me. Since that day, I have spoken to atleast 3 more ladies at the same toll free number, giving them the same details again and again. Yet no one turned up to pick up the items. For the last two days, atleast 3 more people have called up enquiring from me the consignment to be sent, would I come and deliver the items at the head office(!), where do I want to send them and once again, my address. I am surprised that such details of the customer are not being passed on from the call centre to the office which is supposed to execute the task? Today, finally, I called the call centre again and spoke to a lady called Amita, who was cordial, took down all my details again, spoke to the office in secunderabad and assured me that the luggage would definitely be picked up today. She gave me a reference number too which was 10128130.
            I received a call from a lady in the afternoon asking for my address again and informing me that the vehicle would come in the afternoon to pick up the consignment. Thereafter another man called to ask me the destination of the luggage
            (after so many conversations!)which I told him. He then said that he would make the reciept and send it to me. I found that unusual as the carton was yet to be weighed to ascertain the weight. He then put me in touch with the lady from the head office again who surprised me by saying that the cartons are charged at 15 kgs even if they are lesser and the bike is charged at Rs 3000, fixed rate. When I told her that the call center had not given me these details, she said, they may not know but this is what the rates are!
            Afetr spending 6 days in the hope that your company would provide me stellar services, like you have always done in the past, I'm very sorry to say that the experience has been harrowing. I am surprised that details of the customer are not passed on, the rates' list does not match and there is no time frame within which the orders are executed. How can one expect to grow in a competitive market such as today if this is how customers have to book consignment.
            I would request you to look into the matter and improve your services so as to regain customer confidence.It would also be good to know what the actual rates for the consignment are; was the call centre right or were the rates given by the head officew correct. That would be help me solve oart of the confusion.

            The service has been horrible with GATI and I would not recommend them to anyone. What is worse is that the consumer care page on their site does not even accept the compliants!!!

            We have issued a Form 38 no.00011661 in favour of M/s Claaas India P Ltd. for importing the claas parts.
            The permit with parts were booked by your Faridabad office against Docket no.[protected] dated.17.11.2010

            Today 22.04.2010 was assured delivery date. When we not received the consignment we enquired that yr
            Faridabad booking office has lost the Road permit/form -38. Now We are worried that if form has been utilized against any other goods that will be our responsibility for payment of tax.Therefore you please immediate lodge a police F I R mentioning the full details.In case any liability arises you will be solely responsible.

            Gati — fraud

            i got a delivery from gati of a cooking range which was in damaged condition .the product was insured and insurance officer surveyed it and sanctioned Rs.8000.but these people from gati shyam bazar are so negligible and bad at service.so be careful next time with Gati.

            Not deliver my parcel

            My gati docket no is[protected]... I bought an item from Amazon... It is more than 15 days but i do not get my parcel.They give me 13 oct as delivery date but i do not get till 20 oct..Please deliver as soon as possible..

              Dear sir,

              I had shipped 6 packages from patna to Pune viz docket no:[protected]. The company officials in patnahad agreed to pack and deliver the shipment to pune. However the TV and table many other items were delivered in extreme damaged condition.
              When i spoke to the company representatives they said that household goods transportation is not their expertise.
              kindly suggest what can be done.

                  I am a government employee, I had booked my house hold by GATI Express Cargo from New Delhi to Muzaffarpur. I am totally unknown about his processure for booking my house hold. At the time of booking the company personal told me that my house holds are booked by his company under full insured. if any loos/damage occure the compay will pay. My goods are broken under transit and the company's surveryer had submitted the report to his compy for a loss of Rs. 6000/- approx. but the company is refusing to pay me.

                  Gati Cargo — Damage in House hold material

                  I Have received my house hold thru GatI Cargo on 03.05.10. Found nos of material damaged. Also shown to supervisor with the damaged material.
                  I am totally surprised to see the damaged material.
                  It is shocking me.

                  I worked with Gati Cargo management service in 1998 to 1999 . Pf deduct from my salary. But after some time I left the company & pf account number not provide to me. Actually I want to know my pf account number that's why I want to transfar that amount in my new pf account ,where I work present time.

                  I contact gati many time through email to know my pf account number but there I found no proper responce . Can you help me that what can I do to know my pf account number .

                  If you can help me then write me your opinion.

                    We booked our belonings in Gati for Transporting my hosehold belongings, there were 31 packets. they unload the items and left my house immediately, when I opened the packets, most of them were in damage condition.

                    I had given a complaint for that (CS22985), but now nobody is ready to listen that. and they are asking me why I have not mentioned anything after receiving the packets, how I would have unpacked all items (31 items)and reported them the damage at the time of delivery(i.e within 5 mins)??

                    This is the WROST service, what I have got in my life.Before going for GATI, please think about it many times. Or I will suggest you to go for any other service.

                    RECENTLY WE PAID RS.1429/- AGST DOC NO.[protected].ACTUALLY THIS AMOUNT INCLUDES SERVICE TAX WHICH GATI HAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE RECEIPT WHICH PREVENTS US TO CLAIM CENVAT CREDIT.KINDLY ISSUE A BILL MENTIONING SERVICE TAX.
                    PLEASE TRY TO ISSUE A SERVICE TAX AMOUNT MENTIONED INVOICE/RECEIPT TO AVAIL THE BENIFIT IN FUTURE.
                    Another pathetic Story of GATI (IIT Kharagpur)

                    I was told my luggage would be picked up on 12th May, 2011. He called me up at 5:30 pm to pick up the luggage. I told him to wait for 10 mins or he come later on after picking up goods from other people. He said that he would come in eventing. I started making calls to these people from 8 pm. kept on trying for an hour no one picked. At 10 pm they call me up and say that their vehicle is full and cannot take my luggage today. I argued over the phone for 15 mins said that i was urgent and I am supposed to tommorow in the afternoon. He told he would pick up next day at 12 noon. I said fine and told him to be on time. i called him up in morning again at 10 am to confirm if he was coming. He said he would be there between 12-1. I started making calls but no one then responded. At 1 pm he picks up the call and says he cant come now. I called up Mr. Abdul to get the status. He said he would do something soon. After 10 mins I get a call from the local guy and he said he cannot come. I asked him his name and he refused to tell me. Its 1:30 and the luggage is not picked and i have not received any call from Mr. Abdul. I have advised people not to use your services.

                    Also the there is discrepancy in charges. I asked Mr. Abdul he says the rates are 30 kg for 500/-. Where as the local guy tell the rate 14/- per kg + 200/- insurance + 10% service tax. And they have even charged with different rates to different people.

                      Dear Concerned,

                      with lots of distress I would like to mention before you that my previous employer M/s Gati Limited has been harassing me from getting my due benefits under Form 10C for almost a couple of years.

                      Here I would like to mention that as per the requirements of HR-Gati the for was submitted twice and due to some deliberate reasons the PF office has ben rejecting it bact to the HR-Gati from where it has never been followed up further.

                      Further HR-Gati has left the responsibility on me stating that it's the employee's look out to resolve the issue and since then I have been harassed enough to get a right information from them and whether the form has been scrutinized properly and submitted at PF office.

                      To counter me they have sent me a scanned copy of submission report and washed off their hand.

                      After further enquiry with PF office they clearly stated that the form was sent back to HR-Gati for some due reasons which Gati need to clear and resubmit. Since my last follow up with PF office I have not yet been granted a scheme certificate nor my due money.
                      All the communications will be forwarded to you on your requirement.

                      Please help me.

                        This packer and mover service provider at navi mumbai does not provide any responsible services. I had requested him recently for moving my luggage from mumbai to pune. He said he will do it. I have spoken to him a week before I wanted him to shift my things and had reminded him a day before.The day when he was supposed to come he kept on telling that he will send someone in next half hour the whole day. When it was 10 p.m in the night I kept calling him since I had to get it done..He did not take my phone either by disconnecting or swithing off or keeping the phone busy..The guys name was Sanjay..

                        Also he was charging me very high for shifting.. and ensured that he will give me a very good service..but it did not turn that way..

                        I also recently shifted my household items to Mundra (Gujrat) using the services of Gati Mover & Packers. This person Sanjay, had taken cash advance of Rs.9000 including insurance amount of Rs.2000/-. The items were dumped in Ahmedabad and I had to collect the items from the driver after paying him cash of Rs.6000/-. Lot of my items were damaged and when I requested Sanjay for Insurance Policy number, he told me to call after 3 days. And when I called after 3 days, somebody else (called himself Aryan after a long pause) picked the call and said that he has gone on leave & also transfered to Delhi. This other guy who picked up started saying that nothing can be done now since the insurance is only valid for 7 days. When I said its not fair.. this guy threaten me saying "you do whatever you want to do" and cut the phone.

                        I dont know what to do next. My total damage is worth Rs.6000/-.
                        My humble advice to all is that no one should use the services of Gati Packers and Movers. They are the worst service providers. Once your goods are picked up by this party, it should be treated that you have lost your goods and put the same for God's sake. If you are lucky, you will get some goods back at your designation that too you have to go to the local godown to pick up the goods and you will get some of your goods in damaged condition. This is my experience.

                        Please do not relay on this party. They have no organizational structure. Even they do not have branches in important cities as well.

                        Guys even i have bad experience frm this service its been 3 months and i have no idea regarding my goods. just to make sure no one else becomes a victim please call sunitha at [protected] and file ur complaint so that this guy s license is seized .Please cooperate so that no one else suffers bcoz of this service.

                          My father made a full a final payment to Gati to transfer his old TV from Indore to Pune. We asked to the representative is there any thing we need to pay till our door, he commited for not a single rupee and everything is charged under the payment that include insurance also. We got a shipment but the delivery boy is asking for more money and if we could not give money he will not do the shipment. When we asked for what is this payment for then he said it is Octrai and without paying we will not give. I talked to the manager and nothing is moving. If I have given a declaration letter then also if company paid then i should not made responsible and GATI should not force me to make the payment.

                          My shipment is still with them and no movement from GATI.

                          We are 132 Years old company and haveing branches all over India and haveing customer every nook and corner of the country.

                          We are receiveing and booking material through various transporters including Gati depending on the material and urgency.

                          We have booked the above consignment to our party M/s. A.K.International, Roorkee on 7th May, 2009.

                          Kindly note that the actual weight of the consignment is 74 Kgs only but inadvertently your booking person has mentioned the weight as Actual weight 125 Kgs & Charged Weight 195 Kgs and charged Rs 5786/- ( Total Charges) TO PAY AMOUNT in the LR which is an abnormal charge and it will not be accepted by us.

                          Hence, the consignee M/s. A.k.International, Roorkee was also not accepting the consignment.

                          We therefore request you to kindly look in the matter very seriously and inform us the revised cherges as per the actual weight to enable the consignee to accept the consignment immediately without any further delay.

                          And also kindly note that we will not be responsible for the demurrages/loss incurred in this transaction. If there is any delay in delivering the consignment, the demurrages or any loss/claims should be borne by you.

                          Your immediate action in this regard shall be highly appreciated.

                              Dear Sir,
                              Recently i have to shift from Patna to Srinagar(Garhwal) as i have got a new jobs in Ministry of Environment, GoI.I got my household goods transported through Gati Ltd(www.gati.com).But they have did not deliver my two household goods and they have damaged my Almira and fridge badly.I have repeated requested them to at least trace out my two cartoons carrying electrical goods forth Rs4000/-.Now they say i have not put any remarks on proof of delivery document, but i have my self signed with all the remarks of my losses.
                              Kindly help me in this regards or at least guide me properly.
