I had booked a transfer of a bicycle (worth INR ~15, 000) from Mumbai to Bangalore via Fastway, which used Gati-KWE as shipping partner.
Initially, this service was promised to be completed in a week. But, even after receiving payment and item from pick up destination this didn't go through. They continuously kept me in dark regarding status of the shipment and kept putting up excuses which was never justified during the assurance of quality early on.
After dozens of calls and 45 days, mentioned cycle was delivered to me in heavily damaged condition which included these damages:
- Gear set was broken
- Handle cover are cut
- Seat is scratched
- Rear tyre valve is damaged
- Front suspension cover is damaged
I contacted both parties involved in shipment to fix this but, obviously no action was ever taken and I was forced to repair the whole thing by myself. Entire drama costed me INR ~5000 in the process along with lots of waste of time.
I am wondering can you guys take any action here to help me out in this situation?
