I had submitted my phone, a Gionee V4 which i purchased in November 2013, because of broken display on 15/07/2014. According to my knowledge, I did not drop the phone, mishandled, or gave it a water bath. This clearly seemed to me a manufacturing default, but nonetheless I was handed over a paper stating a estimate of Rs 2200.
The only request i had was to replace the broken part as soon as possible or provide me with a replacement handset. Needless to say that the situation has not changed since as all of them are singing the same song "Part is not available. We will let you know when it is. Please call back in 2 days." Seems like they are waiting for the 1-year deadline to end so that they can put the blame on me.
I have made numerous call to the call center as well as mailed them on their official e-mail ID, but no response as of yet.
I would really appreciate if my concern is forwarded for them to take timely action. Please help me get my money back, get my phone replaced or get the damaged part replaced, specifically in this order.

Problem : Manufacturing Defect (Flip)
Use Feedback : Have to submit the handset 4 times @ utl service centre ( JMS Mobile Care, Bongaigaon, assam), The service people are not cooperative, product is non functional most of the time
Requested : replacement in lieu of manufacturing defect ( some temporary solutions provided during previous occasions still the problem persist)
Recent Status : submitted the mobile again to the JMS utl over two weeks, not getting any status information from JMS people.
I am really facing some serious issues in getting the actual status of my purchased gionee product.
