I am having flights with goair which is cancelled due to covid-19. I want a refund of my ticket mentioned below, no one is supporting from customer care and nodal team.

    I have a booking with goair on 29th march. Travel route from delhi to varanasi. Due to lockdown the flight got cancelled. As per the latest guidelines my honourable court and dgca the airline must refund the full amount to the person but goair is not providing the refund instead they are forcing to take a credit shell. I have no further travelling plans this year following mid of next year. Please help me in getting the refund from goair

      I have tried multiple times to reach both goair and easemytrip customer support. Easemytrip puts the onus on the airline and the airline is unreachable or replies through a bot about rescheduling, which it doesnt permit.

      Numerous tweets, emails fall all falling on deaf ears.

        I shreetej sharma, my pnr is z7tfwp, i travelled from bengaluru to kolkata on 22nd september, 2020 on flight g8 830. I had extra 9 kgs of luggage with me for which the ground staff at the go air counter charged me 4500+750=5250, but as per the regulation i can travel with a baggage of 20+7kgs, but my cabin luggage was just 1 kgs as i had only one laptop with me, which in total makes it as only 2-3 kgs of extra luggage.
        Keeping all that aside, i had paid 5-250 in cash for the extra luggage but the ground staff didn't give me any receipt of the payment done, as i was getting very late for the flight, i had no time to argue with the person for receipt. He told me that i will be getting the receipt over an sms, which i never recieved. And earlier i had requested him a lot to consider my case as i was short on money and i had no cash with me. I gave that person my credit card, but he told me that there is an error in my card, i gave him my other credit card, but he stated the same reason. I told the guy that there might be some issues with your swipe machine. But he started screaming on me. I almost cried at the airport, as i was alone and short on money and was getting very late. At last i called my friend to transfer me the money. I had 2500 cash with me and i had to borrow the remaining from my friend and then withdraw the amount from the atm. The person was very arrogant and didn't provide any help. It's okay if i had to pay for my extra luggage, but i do need a receipt for the same. On the flight i asked the flight attendant if we would get a receipt for the extra luggage and she replied yes. After reaching kolkata airport i contacted the ground staff just after getting off the flight, and i was told to go to belt no. 5 and you'll be assisted by one of the goair representatives, but no one was there to help. Then with the help of the cisf personnel, i went to gate 3c at the go air counter to get a clarification and i was shocked to see that the person has only made a payment of 750 and kept the rest of the cash with him. I am attaching all the proofs which i have and i need the receipt of the luggage that i had checked in which i know go air won't be able to provide as it was not inputted by the person. If that's the case i want a proper compensation and a refund of whatever i had paid extra (4500).
        I am a student and this is the way i was treated which is inhumane and this was my first flight with go air and i had the worst flying experience. That person made me cry at the airport, i almost missed my flight. I was charged illegally and no receipt was provided for the payment made. When i asked the person's name he started screaming again.
        For all this harrassment i need a proper compensation from go air and also an apology from that person and a strict action should be taken against him.
        Please go through the cctv at the bangalore airport and whatever i have stated above will be proved.

          I have been following up go air since march 2020 for the refund of the cancelled flight but they are not ready to refund my amount. I have tried calling many times. Mailed the nodal officer, appellate officer and customer care so many times, initially they did not reply for 5 months, then they said they can only reschedule and now they reply saying they will charge cancellation fee. Why would they charge cancellation from customers for a flight that was not cancelled by customer? Flight was cancelled by goair but still they are charging thr customers.
          Please help me get my full refund. I have no travel plans so i need my full refund.

            Go air customer care is horrible, multiple 60 mins waiting but no response... Without information they keep cancelling the flight and even no returning amount and re-booking asking for difference amount... It's a open loot, if they are cancelling the flight then it is their responsibility to give alternative.

              I booked 2 flights from mumbai (Bom) to nagpur (Nag) on monday, 25 may 2020 and my trip id:[protected]. This flight was scheduled to departure on june 05 2020 but 1 day before the flight i got call from goair that the flight was cancelled i checked the status and the flight was cancelled so i cancelled the ticket through the cleartrip account and applied for the full refund. I booked different ticket from my amazon account as cleartrip is attached with amazon i booked on thursday, 04 jun 2020 and my trip id:[protected]. This flight was scheduled on june 07 2020. This flight was also cancelled from the airline side therefore i cancelled it and applied for the full refund. I regularly checked for the status of my refund and the app showed (Cleartrip app) me that i will receive my refund by 03 aug 2020. Fast forward to 03 aug 2020 i checked again but nothing. I waited for some more days but there was no progress. So i checked for help on cleartrip app. I received call from goair customer care and the customer care executive asked me for all details and asked me if i want to book another flight or get a full refund. I went for the full refund. He told me that in 10-15 days you might receive your refund. Fast forward 10-15 days i got call from cleartrip customer care and i asked them the status about my refund. They said that the airline has still not orocessed my refund and hence he told me that i'll schedule a call for you from the airline side. Fast forward i received no calls from the airline side. Fast forward to 11 sept 2020 i tweeted goair and cleartrip about my issue and the said me to submit my details in their dm i did that but still no response from them. Today is 22 sept 2020 and still no sign of my refund from the airline side or cleartrip side. The amount for the 1 booking was rs. 7820 and for second booking rs. 11802. Total amount rs.19, 622. The worst experience from goair in terms of customer service. I still don't know when i'll receive my refund. Both the flights were cancelled from the airline side. Below i've attached the tweet that i tweeted to goair and cleartrip on 11 sept 2020 & what cleartrip customercare chat shows in app and whenever i submit i never get any calls from the customer care.                 I have cancelled tickets for 4 of my family members including myself well in advance. The ticket is refundable and still go airlines has denied a refund. They are forcing us t travel in these unprecedented times otherwise we lose all our hard earned money which is more than 30000. They aren't responding on mails or social media and this is why i am initiating an official complaint against them. Please help and ask them to refund the amount.

                    I have booked the tickets from new delhi to indore, pnr number - hy8pjd
                    For[protected]. On[protected], i have received an email saying that your flights are cancelled and you will be eligible for full refund but i have not received my refund till now. I have send many email and calls to customer care but i did not got any response from them. I have to book another flights tickets to travel from new delhi to indore and it has cost me double. Go air should not do like with their customers and should return they amount.

                      I was going to travel on 31 july 2020 with pnr ncky3k. As per the regulations, i reached airport on time for security clearance, but got to know that the flight has been cancelled. I never received an update on flight's status through any text or email, and no one's even responding to my emails related to my issue.

                        Dear sir/madam,

                        Received email from goair that "for your pnr py8jxg on goair flight g8-4955 from patna (Pat) to mumbai (Bom) on[protected] at 16:30 hrs is cancelled."

                        Once i do reschedule it is showing charges of 3000 rs as changes fee. We were rescheduling due to flight cancellation, which is not our fault. Also the fare for rescheduling showing more than normal booking fare. I had made call several times to airlines and via.com but with no luck also i sent many emails but no response yet.

                        I want my full amount refund without any deduction since the flight was cancelled and it seems we have no plan to fly in the upcoming year.

                        Till now i have many acknowledgement from goair as below, but no refund yet.

                          I have booked goair flight to travel from hyderabad to srinagar on[protected] for[protected] travel and that fight got cancelled due to lockdown.

                          I have called and told to customer care that as my wife is pregnant and i will not be able to travel for next 1 12 years so i need the refund for the same and the same has been conveyed to customer care person and they have told me to send the documents and i have send the same in the month of april only but till now i haven't received any response from the concerned team if i call to customer care i am not even able to connect after waiting in call for 30mins.

                          I have raised the request# g[protected] in the month of april for a refund for my trip with pnr no: l3nvqa and also escalated to [protected]@goair.in, [protected]@goair.in but they are also not responding.
                          Can you help me in filing a complaint against them.

                            I get job recruitment from go air through shine.com and i send all the documents as they asked and they asked money for bond and traing and air tiket. And i didn't even get the bond i gave them the money they asked rupees 64900 and i didnt get the job

                                It has been more than two months and you have not refunded the amount for the cancelled flight. My pnr is v72kuc
                                I repeatedly emailed for a full refund but you have not responded.
                                It was a fully refundable ticket and you cancelled the flight, not i. How can you penalize a senior citizen customer for you cancelling the flight?
                                I tried to call your customer care more than thousand times to get the refund. Could connect only twice with the call dropping within a few seconds. Shamelessly, you don't have a policy of calling back. Of course, you have it if it is for a fresh booking!
                                With whose consent are you holding up my hard-earned money with no intention of returning? This is our hard-earned money. How can you steal it by this fraud?
                                It seems you people must be putting up bogus fights, getting the money and then cancelling.
                                A good way of holding poor indian citizen's money who have nowhere to appeal.
                                Please refund my full amount if you have any shame left and have any collective responsibility towards the citizens of this country.

                                  Dear sir / madam,

                                  I wanted to reschedule my earlier booking, which was cancelled due to covid. I was advised that i could do it myself from the goair website.
                                  When i visited the goair site, i was really shocked to see that unilaterally go air has modified my itinerary without my consent as follows.

                                  My original booking was made on 14th april 2020.
                                  Pnq-del by g8 143 on 14th april 2020 &
                                  Del-pat by g8 176 on 14th april 2020.
                                  Please refer to my original itinerary issued to me by goibibo - the copy of which i have enclosed herewith. As when i am checking my ticket in manage booking in go-air site it is showing me a pop-up saying - your flight (S) is cancelled. To make sector changes on your pnr, we request you to contact the call centre as your pnr is protected under ‘protect your pnr’ scheme.
                                  But now it is showing in the go air site, the pnq-pat sector on 13th december, by g8 5214, which was never changed by me.
                                  Please refer to the attachment.

                                  Now i want to reschedule the flights as follows.
                                  Pnq-del on 17th september & del-vns on 21th september.

                                  This i am unable to do, as the outward has become inward & inward has become outward in the go air website.

                                  Please rectify this mistake urgently so that i can reschedule the flight myself.
                                  Alternatively, your representative can assist me in the booking.

                                    I have been trying for more than 24 hrs to contact customer care but haven't received any positive response so far. This is the worst customer care service and they are of no use. They don't pick up your calls and even if they by any chance they will cut your call in the middle or they might put you on hold for like 10mins " oh depending on how lucky you're ". They have resechule my flight by 1hr 50 mins and bcz of this i won't be able to board my next flight and what they say is " our policy says we can only help you if the rescheduling time is beyond 2hrs" isn't this amazing!? So now i have to # pay another 7-8k to reach my destination what an amazing airlines hats off to goair

                                      My flight was on april 24th and due to lockdown my flight was cancelled. I had asked for a full refund to the airlines and they had mailed me also it was not possible at current situation but instead they have cancelled my bookings and have changed me almost the complete fare as cancellation fee. As per dgca airlines are not allowed to charge for cancellation and should provide for refund or a credit shell of the complete fare for 1 year for flights cancelled during lockdown. But the airlines have broken the dgca and charged me i want my pnr number back or full refund or credit shell for 2 year. Supreme court has ordered to refund for flight during 1 & 2 lockdown.

                                        Dear sir / madam,

                                        I wanted to reschedule my earlier booking, which was cancelled due to covid. I was advised that i could do it myself from go air website.
                                        When i visited the go air site, i was really shocked to see that unilaterally go air has modified my itinerary without my consent as follows.

                                        My original booking was made on 29th jan 2020.
                                        Pnq-maa by g8 633 on 25th march &
                                        Maa-pnq by g8 451 on 5th april.
                                        Please refer to my original itinerary issued to me by cleartrip - the copy of which i have enclosed herewith.

                                        But now it is showing in the go air site, the pnq-maa sector on 13th december, by g8 5216, which was never changed by me.
                                        Please refer to the attachment.

                                        Now i want to reschedule the flights as follows.
                                        Pnq-maa on 1st november & maa-pnq on 15th november.

                                        This i am unable to do, as the outward has become inward & inward has become outward in the go air website.

                                        Please rectify this mistake urgently so that i can reschedule the flight myself.
                                        Alternatively, your representative can assist me in the booking.
