The issue that I have experienced was: On my flight from Bangalore to Lucknow, dated 26th March - Flight - G8-808 @ 15:30 hrs from Bangalore under PNR EGGIUB, on reaching Lucknow airport we found that our checked in baggage was severely damaged and completely broken from one side, broken to an end where getting it repaired is impossible. We raised the issue with the ground staff Miss Rajashree Sharma, she registered our complaint and filed for Damaged Baggage report, she promised we would be receiving a reply from Go air along with the refund for the damaged bag, however its been more than 2 weeks now and there has been no response from the airline. We request you to look into the issue, I am attaching the Damaged report photo taken on arrival along with the bag condition as evidence. Request for a prompt redressal

It occurred on: 26/03/2022

I would request go air to provide me with the refund amount to original cost of the bag, along with compensating for the damages done to the material inside the bag.

I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

    I am raising this complaint to instantiate a case of horrible extreme customer Harassment caused by Go Air Airlines booked on 30th March 2022 for three passengers including infant for travel on 3rd April, 2022 for a scheduled direct flight G8-330 with PNR Number - S7TVWP from Mumbai(departing at 32:55) to Kannur(arriving at 1 :50).

    Flight timing has preponed to 15.10 same day without informing me and horrible experience from the customer care. This caused a lot of mental harassments to me as we are travelling with a 11 months baby. I didn't get any mail or call or msg about the rescheduling the flight.

    We came to know about the schedule change only on the way to airport after checking out our hotel when we try to do the web check-in. We tried to connect with the customer care and they are not ready to make alternate arrangement. It caused a lot of mental harassment especially when we travelling with our 11 months baby during pandemic time. GoAir didn't help us in getting alternative arrangements or supporting this difficult time. We struggled a lot to find baby food and all as it's midnight and we didn't expect such unprofessional behavior from GoAir.

    We forced book next direct flight to Kannur with very high price for the same GoAir as we need to reach our home as soon as possible considering 11 months old babies health and food habit. Along with a lot of mental pressure and harassment, we had financial loose of 14000 rs for last minute rebooking.

    Requesting GoAir team to follow professionalism and refund the additional financial loose occurred due to this.

        I had very bad experience with Go Air Dubai to Kannur Flight (G84413) yesterday (10 March 2022). I booked my ticket with priority check-in baggage by paying additional charges to the original ticket.
        The flight was landed at 12:30 AM and I waited for 1 hour 30 min to get my priority checked- in baggage.
        I tried to complaint this issue to the GoFirst staff Kannur Airport, but he refused accept the complaint suggested to report via Go FIRST website.

          Hi All

          We have booked direct flight ticket from Hyderabad to Chandigarh on 12 th March 2022.

          But atlast moment they are cancelling the ticket due to operational issues.
          They give options for full refund and other dates.

          But from the above options, I am not satisfied because
          1. Full refund - if I book ticket now, it costs me around 7000 extra.
          So I demand full refund plus compensation amount as 7000
          2. Other dates options - it is not feasible for me to travel other than Saturday and Sunday. Because all the iteinary plans will get disturbed.

          Secondly, if I cancel return ticket also, I will be in loss as cancellation amount. Even Go First guys are not ready to pay for that .

          When I mentioned my points, supervisor talking about terms and conditions, they are making customer fool. They are not ready to pay compensation amount.

          I demand from the above problem given below:
          1. Provide compensation amount in addition to total flight fare.
          2. Give alternate flight on Saturday either direct or connecting
          3. Change the destination to New Delhi, and pay the transportation amount from new Delhi to Chandigarh

            GoAir cancelled flight from Jaipur to Kolkata on 21 Feb 2022 9 am and didn't give any prior information (no calls at all from GoAir customer care). I came to know when I tried web check in on 19 Feb. When I tried to call Go Air customer care they didn't pick up the call ever after multiple calls. Then I called Yatra.com and they said GoAir will only give me a refund and that will take upto 30 days. Now the flight prices were 3 times the previous booking amount. I was forced to book an Indigo flight on 21 Feb 7:45 am which costed me Rs 26608. As GoFirst was unresponsive I went to Twitter and then GoFirst team called me when I had landed in Kolkata at 10:45 am. I discussed with agent and asked for compensation for my monetary loss. The agent asked me to email [protected]@flygofirst.com for compensation. After a week on 1 March I received email from email from GoAir and they denied any compensation. They will only be providing refund of original ticket which was Rs 9739 paid on 31 Jan 2022. On 3rd March 2022 I received email form Yatra.com (website through which I booked GoAir flight) that Rs 8839 will be refunded whereas I had paid Rs 9739 for the 3 tickets. Yatra.com is saying I am liable to pay them convenience fee of Rs 900 even though GoAir cancelled. Thus my total loss is Rs 27508 and harassment for my parents.

              Worst customer service form an airline like go air. I was traveling on flight flight No G8 2201 JBY5YD from New Delhi at 7am to Surat at 7:40am and when I arrived at Surat my baggage was delayed for 1 hour without any reason and when I asked what was the reason behind the delay it was believed that the warehouse of go first airlines are over filled due to some increase in flight traffic. I had to wait for hour for my baggage.

                I stay in Surat and I’m on a holiday in Kashmir with my family. I’m traveling with my mother who is a senior citizen, my father who has had 2 heart attacks, has diabetes and other health issues and my son who is 4 years old.

                I booked the return journey from Srinagar to Surat via Go First on 2nd February for the journey date of 25th February. The flights were rescheduled 3 times already and when I spoke to the Go First customer service team on 16th February, I was assured that there would be more changes. However, just before a couple of hours I have received an sms that the flight from New Delhi to Surat has been canceled. When I called the customer service team, they are informing me that they can rebook the flight for 27th February from New Delhi to Surat. But where do we stay for 2 days? We stay in Surat, and we need to get back there.

                The other option that the customer service team is providing is for refund and that too they are not sure of the amount. But I booked the flight on 2nd February and I was getting flights from other airlines at similar fares. However, now before 2-3 days, the fares are more than double. How can I pay more than double fare for 5 tickets? This is utterly ridiculous from Go First - what am I supposed to do now? This has left us stranded and is causing a lot of mental agony and is completely ruining our holiday.

                How can an airlines be allowed to treat their customers like this? I need to travel on the SXR-Del flight by Go First and get a full refund as that is still not enough to cover the fare of the new flight I will have to book from New Delhi to Surat. Or Go First needs to book our flight on another airline from Delhi to Surat for 25th February. I’m in no position to pay double the fare for 5 tickets. After a long time I have managed to book a holiday for my family and now we are at a complete loss as to what we should do. Please help!

                  And I called right away to rectify this mistake.

                    I purchased flights for Mumbai to Male round trip through Expedia because the Go Fly website does not accept foreign credit cards. However, selecting seats was not an option through Expedia. I have had no luck with the customer service number. Please advise on how I can purchase seats.                       This is regarding a journey I have availed from Delhi to port Blair via kolkata and vice versa. In the flight booking invoice from Kolkata to portblair which was a Go Air flight, under Name it is showing MakeMyTrip instead of my name. Kindly resolve the issue since I need to avail some benefits from my office. It is also to add that in the Get Bill for flight from Delhi to Kolkata which was an Indigo flight, my name is given under name heading. It should be the same for the Go air also.
                      It is also very unfortunate that GoAir is asking to call MakeMyTrip for the rectification of the same.and MMT have no option to talk to a customer care executive regarding the issue .

                      This is regarding a journey I, Lokesh Kumar, alongwith my wife have availed from Delhi to port Blair via kolkata and vice versa. Our boarding passes and tax invoices obtained from 'FlyGofirst airline' website

                      2. In the Tax Invoice for the journey from Kolkata to Port blair which was a FlyGofirst flight, under the Name Heading, it is showing 'MakeMyTrip' instead of my name i.e. Lokesh Kumar.

                      3. It is very important that my name is shown in the bill so that I can get the reimbursement from my Office. If the tax invoice does not show in my name, I wouldn't be able to avail the benefit of reimbursement from my Office.

                      4. It is also to add that in the Tax Invoice for flight of 'Indigo airline' from Delhi to Kolkata, Invoice is given in my name only. It should be the same for the 'FlyGoFirst airline' invoices also.

                      5. I am very disappointed to inform you that for the last one week, I have been trying to reach both 'FlyGofirst airline' and 'makemytrip' to resolve this issue. But it is very unfortunate that 'FlyGofirst Airline' is asking to call 'MakeMyTrip' for this name rectification and 'MMT' have no option to talk to a customer care executive regarding the issue .

                      4. Therefore, It is requested to provide the duly rectified tax invoice of the said journey performed by me, in my name i.e. Lokesh Kumar and not 'makemytrip'. I shall be obliged to you for an expeditious action in this matter.

                          My GO FIRST flight G8537 from Bagdogra on 3rd Feb 2022 was cancelled. The money was to be refunded into my EaseMyTrip wallet, which I had used for booking the tickets. I was instructed about this refund by the Vishal of Bagdogra Go Air office ([protected]). This refund has NOT happened. Please refund my money right now.

                            I have booked flight round trip from Bengaluru to kolkata through GoAir, both the tickets got cancelled stating irrelevant reasons. Due to that I have to book for another flight which cost me double the previous amount.
                            Just because of there irresponsibility it cost me 17, 000/-.
                            I request for to look into issue as this is not my first worst experience and provide me any remuneration.

                                    I am writing to lodge a complaint against GoAir Airlines for forcing us to use the credit shell instead of doing a full transfer to our mode of payment when GoAir chose to cancel our international flight to Male from Pune dated 19 Dec 2021.

                                    The details are as follows-

                                    PNR: BYRZKQ
                                    Date of Travel: 19 December 2021
                                    Source: Pune
                                    Destination: Male (Maldives)
                                    Via: Bengaluru
                                    Original ticket: Attached

                                    Cancellation Date: 18 December 2021
                                    Canceled By: GoAir

                                    Post the cancellation by GoAir, they took the liberty to book the ticket without our consent as below and sent us the itinerary. The flight timings are not at all matching, we are quite surprised how did GoAir think that flying to Male is possible when the flight to Bangalore will only reach at 13:00 Hours and the departing flight to Male leaves at 12.50.

                                    We had a chat with the GoAir support team regarding the same ( call recording is available ) where they apologized and asked if they would like us to go either for a full-refund or a re-booking to which we explained we would like to go for a full-refund and the executive confirmed that they would do a full-refund to our original mode of payment.

                                    Today as on 25th December 2021, we contacted GoAir to know that we have the only option as "Credit Shell" to get our refund after spending over 3 hours on call with them. GoAir is forcing us to use the credit shell while we have incurred losses in re-doing all the trip planning and paying extra to the resort stays included. Moreover, in the light of current COVID situations with Omicron, we are unlikely to travel domestically or internationally using GoAir. How is this even sensible to force a consumer to choose to fly in order to use the refund amount pushed into the credit shell ( which is highly immoral and unethical from the consumer behavior point of view )

                                    We simply would like to have the amount refunded to our original mode of payment. And request your assistance in order to deal this with the GoAir airline. Please let us know how we proceed with this.

                                    The Author is advised
                                    to keep all evidences, the text including
                                    to find the legal professional for lodging the lawsuit against InterGlobe Aviation Ltd
                                    to the nearest court at his residence.

                                    The duty of the legal professional is primary to explain the rights of the passengers in the case and the reasonable financial expectation, apart of the noted by the Author, in light of the losses
                                    for the decision making of three passengers.

                                    The total estimated expenses for such simple lawsuit can not exceed[protected] rupees total.
                                    These expenses are refundable by the judgement of the judge.

                                    The estimated length of time can not exceed 6 months from the moment of the registration of lawsuit of the passenger(s), if the passenger(s) will not demand the excessive complications or will not face with the extended fraud of the air carrier again during the court sessions.

                                    The judge can apply stricter measures against the executives of InterGlobe Aviation Ltd, which operate around 160 air crafts in India, upon the receipt of writ of lawyer or legal professional, who represents the rights of the named passengers before judge at court sessions.

                                      On 22/12/2021 i board go air flight from hyderabad(india) and landed riyadh (saudi arabia) on same date(22/12/2021) . i found that one of my luggage is missing i didnt receive one of my luggage . it has my kids academic books its v.important to attend the classes.

                                      Such documents do not present.

                                      The complaint of passenger shall be filled (applied) within 7 days after the flight is over, and the PIR (property irregularity report) or similar document shall be issued by the agent to the passenger almost immediately.

                                      The continuation of dispute, if the air carrier have refused to compensate upon the receipt of complaint within 21 days, is the nearest court of India's state of the residing village / town / city of the passenger.

                                      Estimated expenses for lawyer, if needed in such simple case, are[protected] rupees.

                                        We received a message from go air regarding our flight from Male to Kochi on 3rd Dec yesterday that the flight has been canceled. Our PNR is BF4J2B we had contacted the Go Air customer care One Shivanki answered and told us that our Male to Bangalore G8-4032 flight is own schedule but Bangalore Kochi flight G8-812 is cancelled and she told us that we can cancel the Bangalore Kochi and get refund for it and mail regarding same would be send. We have booked another flight for Bangalore to Kochi on 3rd but we have not received any mail from Go Air and we are unable to do web checkin for our Male to Bangalore flight. Due to this miscommunication we need to cancel the whole booked ticket from MALE to BANGALORE for GO Air and on the top of that GO Air charged 20000 RS as the cancelation fee which is very unfortunate and unlawful. So hereby we request you to refund the cancellation fee and compensation for the other ticket cancelation charges .Attaching the screenshot below of cancellation fee for your reference.

                                        The Customer care of GO AIR is very poor and they are not at all answering the calls which is a very desperate thing. Because of this our entire holidays got ruined.
