In one pnr, there are two travellers. If one of them cannot travel due to some last moment crisis, can the other traveler travel alone on the ticket for two without paying any penal or additional charges?
There was no scope to cancel the ticket of the passenger (No show status) beforehand who could not travel.
My main questions are;
1) whether the person travelling alone does have to pay any charges for the person who could not turn up, because they were issued a single ticket with same pnr.
2) what would be the answer if the ticket of one passenger is cancelled earlier, not at the last moment.
3) which option is economically beneficial for the traveler — earlier cancellation or "no show".
In all cases they have single pnr ticket.

    Hi,

    My flight pnr is g1i7jl. It is from lko to hyd on 5th sept 2018.
    It is cancelled due to some goair technical issue.
    Now when i am asking to reschedule the flight, they are asking to pay the difference which is not making any sense.
    Because just 9 days before they are cancelling the flight while i booked flight 2 months back when flight rates were very nominal.
    Which i feel very unjustice to customer and feeling cheated by goair.
    If they have informed me long back, i could go for some other option.

    What i feel is goair is cheating and not giving proper compensation.

      I missed my flight because of the bad service by the staffs. I reached on time in the counter and they said counter is closed and the counter is supposed to close 45 mins before boarding. I reached there by 55 mins before boarding. And instead of giving my boarding pass on time they said the counter closed and all those rubbish things because of they wasted 10 mins and said the counter is closed. There were 18 more people.

        It's very sad, that in spite of booking a goa to mum flight almost 6 months in advance, it got cancelled a couple of hours later without any explanation.
        As i'm out of country and constantly travelling, i could not make the call to customer service or clarify the situation as the calls are extremely expensive - europe to india. Unfortunately, this left me stranded and helpless.

          Hi,

          I reached ahmedabad airport on 11th august 2018 from bangalore and got to know that my bag is not present on the belt. Till now it's not tracked also no one is picking the call at amd airport.

            I was travelling from srinagar to delhi on the 6th of aug, 2018 and had a connecting flight to catch to dubai the same day. I had excess baggage according to domestic standards but i was carrying baggage in compliance with international flight allowance. Almost all the domestic airlines i have travelled in so far have considered the within 24 hour international connection and wavered the extra luggage, but goair staff refused to oblige.
            My uncle, who was also travelling the same airlines, walked in five minutes after me and we wanted to check in together but a certain rahul sharma started shouting that pooling is not allowed. I don’t see how checking in with a family member is called pooling. He went on to point towards me to the rest of the staff as if i was a culprit.
            Then as my uncle was asking another ground staff member as to why we were not allowed as a family to check in, he (Mubashir nazir) shot up from his seat and started howling at my uncle and told him to get out of there.
            I complained about this to the manager, who kept apologising for that man’s behaviour but neither mubashir admit to his dishonourable behaviour towards a senior citizen nor did he show the courtesy to apologise. A galore lack of training in how to behave with customers.
            The manager had promised that action would be taken against the staff that was rude. The least i would have expected is a written apology to my uncle, as well as training for better management. I am still awaiting any indication of either.

              Dear sir,
              I have arranged my return tickets from srinagar to chandigarh trougr clear trip and while taking the print of ticket i observe that my sir name risam is missing accordingly i took up matter with clear trip officials who tried their best to get same rectified at their end and finally arrange my direct talk through conferencing with both the air lines i. E spice jet and go air. Though the spice jet agreed for rectification but go air official refused for correction of sir name instead conveyed that he shall be passing this reference to his airport office. I requested official present on line mr. Ibrahim that i being a senior citizen need the solution and help to avoid un necessary in convenience at airport but he not only refused any help and also avoided my talk to his senior.
              You are requested to either get my sir name endorsed in my tickets or get entire amount of my said tickets refunded to avoid any sort of humiliation to a responsible sr. Citizen of the country

                On 11. Sat 2018 me and my dad was traveling via go air when this all happened we were traveling by go air g8-334 from delhi to mumbai. We reached at counter no. 1 at 7:15 as our flight was at 8:00 hrs. Without any help the counter girl impolitely stated a statement the your flight checkin has been closed u can't fly we can't accommodate you in any way and said you have to buy a new air tickets. As indigo, air india and other flight companies allow their customers last minute check-in. A bad experience with go air this is a last time traveling with go air.

                  On 7th Aug 18, My sister Miss Ayusa Sangraula travelled from Delhi to Bagdogra via Go air with flight number G8 157. She did check in at around 12:35 to 12:50 for 1:35PM flight. At the time of check in also the lady who was at the counter number 1 was a bit confused regarding her baggage so she double questioned her saying Mam is your bag orange & My sister replied no my bag is blue.Then lady at counter noodded n said alright. And my sister left for security checkin. As my sister was in a bit hurry she didn’t notice that the lady at the counter no 1 of Go air at IGAI airport- T2 had missed to put on baggage sticker/level on her boarding pass. On reaching Bagdogra she didn’t get her bag on belt & on inquiry being made she found out that her baggage has been lost due to the carelessness of lady at counter no 1 of IGAI airport T-2. According to go air authorities it will be restored if found within 48 hours. On my question to what if not found they are like they cant help. They should take sole responsibility for what happened n restore her baggage as item inside the baggage are priceless. All her documents is there in bag & if not found I shall sue them for the negligence of staff. They should take responsibility of their deeds. And I demand CCTV check for what happend in the counter.

                    Hi,

                    To whom so ever this may concern ..

                    I am requesting for full refund for the ticket from GoAir since I have cancelled it because the name of the passenger was entered incorrectly by mistake. It was Jitender Nath but I entered Jitender Verma bu mistake. This is very improper to not keep any provision for correction of name for genuine customers and passenger has to pay for it.

                    I have cancelled above ticket which was made from Make my trip and I received just 1200 as refund. Please process my full refund of 3500 approx rs.

                    Its a request since we had to book same ticket again . It is unaffordable for us.

                      My wife along with 2 year old daughter was travelling from mumbai to cochin on sunday 22 jul 18 from go air airline g8-336 with two bags in luggage. She checked in at 1455h, 2hr prior scheduled departure at 1720. On reaching cochin, she received only one bag. On enquiry with go air staff at cochin, we were informed that the bag has been held up at mumbai airport as it contains a power bank. We clarified that we do not own a power bank. On further enquiry with go air staff at mumbai, they informed that the bag contains a bullet and hence has been held up, for which the passenger has to come to mumbai to claim the bag. We brought out that why this information was not brought to our notice when we were waiting at mumbai airport for 2 hrs. They kept on giving us vague answers and excuses for their mistake. They threatened us saying that if we don not come to mumbai for claiming the luggage, it will be handed over to civil police. They forced us to travel back to mumbai, and spend rs 22000. On reaching mumbai airport on 24 jul 18, they handed over the bag to us and on enquiry regarding bearing of our travelling cost of rs 22000 from cochin to mumbai while on duty, no body was able to answer us properly and again kept on giving excuses. Go air staff also made us to write a mail giving authority to their staff for opening the bag, however, they dint do it and forced us to travel to mumbai. If they would have informed us on same day, issues would have been sorted out then and their itself and we would have faced the financial loss. We have written mails to go air grievance team, however, no response received from them. This incident caused us lot of mental stress as also financial loss. Our urge to consumer affair team to look into the matter and request them to compensate our travelling cost.

                        Form 09/07/2018 on words i am following with goair team members, through mail or on phone and also coordinating with lost property department delhi airport. Lost property department confirmed that my item is with him on 10/07/2018. Kindly arrange authority letter for handing over your item to goair staff. I do the same and provide the authority to goair on 11/07/2018. After that i am following with the goair team, for the same, but they are not responding any more,
                        Lko department said that i am sending the doc. To delhi team on priority basis.
                        Rest is depending on him. And also personally informed the same.
                        Then i was coordinating with [protected]@goair.in, but is also not responding.

                          Hi, i was travelling with goair from delhi to kolkata in flight g8103 on july 25th 2018... When i went to pick up my bag it never showed up... Learning this i had a word with the goair associate, subsequently they sent one trainee without a nametag to assist me and a couple of fellow travellers... She was rude and had a brawl with one of the passengers... Their senior named somnath never showed up... They asked me too sign an authorisation letter which i did... They told me to wait for a day and they would have my bag flown on their next scheduled flight and they will call me... They didnot and when i called and threatened to complain, they said to do it... The bag has still not reached kolkata... It had my personl belongings and my ipad charger...

                            While booking the ticket, the date of departure was chosen to be 29th but after the payment made, the final ticket comes to email with date of departure and flight time changed completely by 2 days and from Early morning to late night difference.

                            Being surprised, I informed Customer care within minutes. Customer care refused to accept the mistake and wanted to charge additional fees more than the ticket cost to reschedule. Told them it was not rescheduling request but error rectification.

                            Luckily had a screenshot of my Itinerary (never knew would need it but had it for personal reference) with date 29 and time as morning. The return remained unchanged.

                            Emailed within 30mins from the time receipt to Feedback team, Nodal Officers explaining it was not a human error or any mistake from my end. Gave all the justifications as below:

                            Why would I change my mind in 5 minutes of Ticket booking?
                            How come my screenshot of booking and Ticket after payment is different?
                            How come in wrong ticket the Airline remained the same?

                            If all the above are not explainable then why rescheduling fees?

                            They say they can change but will charge rescheduling fees as per policy. After 2 days of argument they want Cleartrip (online Booking agent) to pay for the change.

                            Cleartrip is a Ticket scheduling agent but confirmation of the Ticket or PNR is generated by Airline then why Cleartip and Why I should run around?

                            If I am not changing my mind and not even changing my plan then rescheduling fees is unjustified.

                            Finally they refuse to change without rescheduling fees.

                            3rd class airline i ever seen in my life...they dont know how to behave with the passengers...my flight was in 4.50 pm i have report at 3 pm but they say that you are late and your flight is cancelled i request dont travel with this airline

                              So here i start my wrost experience with the very well known air ways. I had booked a flight from kolkata to bagdogra on 24th july and my timing was 12:55 so i reached to the airport at 12:05 n then i rush to the desk but their i was told dat i m late so i tried to talk to the guy n told him dat i m still on time but he refused n didn't even brother to help meany way again i rush to the help desk seekin some help as it was an emergency back home and need to reach by end of the day but the lady their was busy over the phone i asked her n explains the reason beacause of the huge traffic n rain i was late bt i was their before one hr i can send. U my ola detail as my proff so lady was also very rude she not even listening i was panicking der bt i was left with no help she finish the discussion wid one word closed the again i told her if she can look for some other flight she took time to reply coz she was over the phone n later one guy came and i told him dat can he book and check a flight for today or if not 2moro as i miss dis flight i am ready to pay the panalty charger bt he give me the same amount as buyin the new tickets so i didn't get any help o don't think dis is way of your customer service i was ther before one hr of my flight timing but i was treated their like i was beggin for a free tickets

                                I had booked a flight with goair: g8-525, pnr hbn69x in the name of ishan sonthalia from delhi to hyderabad on 15th jun, 2018. Unfortunately i had to cancel this flight due to medical reasons and i was advised by my doctor to avoid travel. I had contacted the goair helpline to get my flight ticket cancelled and they informed that full refund shall be given if i can share the medical certificate and reports. It has been more than 3 weeks, i have shared all the details with goair team over email, however they are not replying / reverting to me. Their customer care executive denied to help and said this does not come under their purview. I have written to go air around 10-15 times and i am sending them continuous reminders, but they are just being silent and not initiating the refund. The refund amount is close to rs 3000 and need your help to get my money back from the airlines.

                                  Flight no. G8-101, pnr - wbn4ya. The go air crew has damaged luggages with one luggage completely torn and distorted. Do you know the value of our luggages?? If something important goes missing who 'll take the responsibility. You 'll simply say sorry n that's it. I 'll definitely share the scenario in social media along with photos to let others aware before travelling with go air. I 'll neither recommend others nor me of choosing go air for the next time. Who 'll pay the repairing fees of my luggages?? Whose fault is it?? Such a nonsense crew of go air.

                                    My name is amit chahar & i was traveling from hyderabad to lucknow on 22/07/2018 with go air flight no. G8 558, seat number-21c under corporate ticket booking.

                                    I have checked in baggage as a fragile items & asked hyderabad go air representative to handle it properly.
                                    I saw lot of mismanagement at hyderabad go air counter itself, executive were not focused & there was just two counter opened to take care two different routes flight at same time (Hyd-banglore @ 13:10 & hyd-lko @ 13:15).
                                    Other passenger were also noticed this thing & raised/heated conversation with goair team at hyd airport (Pls take the feedback from them as well).

                                    Go air counter person was so pissed off & confused that he was not asking / checking mandatory things like id proof, baggage weight & even he forgot to take my signature on fragile bag declaration (Which i intervene & asked to do the same).

                                    I received the completely damaged bag (Trolley handle complete broken) at lucknow airport & it was impossible to move it w/o handle, which made my journey miserable.

                                    I logged a complaint (Dbr - damage bag report) at lucknow go air counter & as per lucknow goair representative handle have broken at hyderabad itself due to poor handling.

                                      we have travel banglore to mumbai as on 14th july in flight no G8/526, when we land on mumbai airport we didnt find out our bag so we ask to the airport and they replied that Bag couldn't lead at Banglore airport due to some reasons.so they fill PIR form and commit that we will get our bag by courier soon but till we didnt recieve our bag.

                                        I was in Kanpur on 12 July 2018. My flight was booked from Lucknow to Delhi. PNR Number: LEBBSE. No information received by message or phone regarding cancellation of flight.

                                        Just checked during travel from Kanpur to Lucknow and got the information regarding cancellation of flight.

                                        Extra amount paid for taxi, train etc.
