Regarding cancellation (With immediate effect) and refund (100%) due to terrorist activity, we were on the way to pahalgam on 27th may 2017. We left from katra at 10:00 am by our tempo traveller no - jk14c0052, as we reached qazikund (Near anantnag) mob of bad elements attacked to all the vehicles including our'sby pelting stones, we was shocked that what happened, it took few minutes to turn the vehicle from road as all athe vehicles was trying to turn back, inbetween few stones hit our vehicle and damage the vehicle, we save our lives by hiding ourselves in the vehicle.
We was in very panic stage and not able to accept the truth that what happened with us without knowing the reason of the attack, after that our driver rushed our tempo traveller back and while reaching ramban we saw that comming back all the vehicles was been badly damaged and few of tourist was badly injured due to attack, we stay for few minute at locxal dhaba in ramban to know about, what happen, there we heard news of terrorist encounter of sabzar batt and thios attack tooks place against the protest of his encounter.
We heard in news that all the mobile and internet services was been stopped and two days close is been called by hurriyat, and curphew took place in major part of srinagar and adjoined areas. It was too late due to jam so we decided to stay at patnitop as no option was left with us, we thought that might be situation will be controlled and we would be able to reach srinagar to board our flight, on 28th may when we saw news that situation is going worst over there in srinagar and in front of our eyes we saw many vehicles comming back to patnitop on 28th may 2017 as we confirmed from them they too told us that army personals returned them back, then we again called to go air on 28th may 2017 (9:00 pm) and talked to your representative mr. Ashish from pune and let him know about the situation, he suggested us to write a mail to go air on mail id - [protected]@goair.in for our grivience plus cancellation and refund (100%) of our booking in this unacceptable circumtances.
We request you kindly arrange to make the cancellaion and refund (100%) of our above mention bookings, as when a person cant able to reach the destination then how it could be possible for him/her to board the flight, we humbly request you to do the needful at the earliest so that our faith against go air cant be shaken.
Also we are attaching herewith the pictures of our damaged vehicle for your consideration and few news clips of 27th may 2017 encounter and worst situation over there.
