I travelled from RGIA Hyderabad to Bagdogra by direct non-stop flight of GoAir ( flight no. G8 299) on 04 Feb 17 Saturday. To my horror and surprise, I could not find my checked-in baggage (tag no G[protected]at arrival hall in Bagdogra airport. I immediately reported the matter to GoAir officials at the airport. They also could not trace the bag and initiated a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
Thereafter I made numerous calls to GoAir help line, met their officials at Bagdogra and Hyderabad airport and sent email reminders but nothing could reduce my agony of loss.
What hurt me more is the callous unprofessional attitude of the staff who are ill trained to handle such unfortunate situations and bring utter disrepute to GoAir. I request the GoAir management to compensate my loss immediately and take steps to prevent such lapses in future.

    I bought a round trip ticket from Delhi to Pune flying on December 22, 2016 and coming back on January 1, 2017. Plans changed and I had to cancel the Pune-Delhi segment. Since then I have been waiting for refund but nothing yet.

    GoAir customer service keeps telling me the refund has been processed but I have not seen a credit on my Credit Card statement.

    They keep telling to send an email to the refunds department but refuse to give me a their number or won't let me connect to their supervisor.

    I have similar issue with another reservation for my sister. In her case the flight was cancelled. Still no refund

    I Don't understand what kind of operation GOAir is running and how do they expect us to travel on GoAir again.

      Hi,

      I was travelling with my family on 2Feb 2017 from Delhi to Goa, flight no.G8-2564.Mistook to take my power bank from the suitcase and was found in the check in luggage.Officer submitted my Samsung power bank then and there.
      I think if power bank is found in the check in luggage, it should have been handed over to the traveller.There is no point in taking away the gadget.
      Now, please let me know what should i do to get my power bank back?
      Waiting for your response.

      Dissatified with your services.
      Will not take this airline in future.

        I was having flight at 6:00 AM and reached at 5:10 AM. But I was denied check in saying that you are late and we announced your name 2-3 times. Since you are not available that time we could not allow you to take this flight. It happened with other 3-4 passengers as well.

        We waited at airport for almost an hour but still still weren't allowed to
        board. In fact there was no support from GOAir team at all.

        As I have urgent official work, I took another flight in triple the rate. My GoAir money is not refunded and have to pay 3 times more fro new tickets.

        I request you to lodge a complaint against GoAir.

          We were travelling from port Blair to Mumbai on date 26th January from go air ...when we reached to Mumbai n waiting for luggage then we saw the bag has been damaged from back portion ...because o[censored]r airline n ur irresponsible person we faced a lot of inconvenience...we have to wait there for one hour but nobody is their to fire the complaint ..we are very disappointed with ur facility that u r providing to the customer...that bag is new. Which I purchased one month ago now it's totally no use...I want rembrussment or money for the bag...plz reply me asap otherwise I will escalate this matter very badly..

            Dear Team,

            We reached airport at 6:58 am for a 7:45am flight but we were denied check in as there was nobdy on the counter. Go Air wanted
            to close gates earlier to earn few buck today. It happened with other
            passengers as well.

            We waited at airport for almost an hour but still still weren't allowed to
            board.
            Counter asked to speak with accommodation and accommodation wanted us to
            speak with counter.

            They were making passengers go round in circles . Finally they said if you
            will pay then they can allow to board plane. Finally flight left around
            9:00 am without allowing passengers to board.

            I don't understand why GO Air has resorted to such cheap methods to rob
            money from passengers. You cant stoop so low and call yourself such a big
            company. I don't know when all flights were getting delayed around that
            time, how come GO AIR called a delayed flight on time.

            I called helpline to lodge a complaint bit they were incapable of doing so
            and asked me to send an email.

            I am fed up with GO Air. Please refund my entire money urgently.

              I was supposed to board the flight to Bangalore from Mumbai at morning 6 am. Received a message saying gate closes 25mins before take off, I reached at 5.20-5.25 yet was not allowed to board the flight. The staff didnt even have the courtesy to try to get me in the flight. Infact i was not alone, 2 other passengers faced the same issue. The staff even did not attempt to call the gates and push them to help. Their behaviour was like, 'WE DONT CARE FOR YOUR LOSS' to us. I had faced the same situation with Jet Airways before but their staff was soo helping that they managed to get me into the flight half an hour before with their porter running with my luggage to the flight. Very disappointed and suggest Go Air to hire better staff.

                I am vikash kumar have booked 4 tickets in the name of 1. vikash kumar 2. sonam kumari 3. saharsh raj 4. punita devi vide PNR No- DY9PGS IN GO AIR flight no- G8-134 for 11.11.2016 from Patna to Delhi. since my wife Mrs. Sonam kumari was having 7.5 months preganacy, inspite of producing medical fitness certicate, the flight company people have not permitted to board in the flight. reason behind to sell the ticket in high price, due to high demand of ticket for returning people after celebration of chhat festival. since my mother is handicapped and my child are 5 year old, finally i decided to leave them in Patna hence 3 ticket were cancelled due to arrogant decision of Go Air flight company employee. only i had boarded the flight.

                i have not received refund of cancelled ticket upto 20.11.2016 then i sent mail on 20.11.2016 however i have not received our refund. afterwards i used to call in call center of Go Air through mob no. [protected] almost 7-8 times and all executive i.e. ms. aayasa used to tell, you will get refund immediately. afterwards also i have not received the refund. afterward i sent mail through this id on 05.01.2017, 06.01.2017, 11.01.2017 & 21.01.2017 but no refund till date.

                now i am fed up with the service of GO AIR, very worst response of company, so i am lodging complaint with you. please instruct the company to make my refund of cancelled ticket with fine immediately.

                  I have cancelled my ticket on 29th Dec 2016 but still not received my cancelled ticket refund.

                  Even after multiple followup calls and mails there is no reply from Go Air. Tweeted same but still no reply.

                  I am unsatisfied with dealings of GoAir where I have to followup so much for my own amount, even after booking directly from GoAir .

                    I had a flight from bagdogra to Delhi on 11th Jan 2017 at 13:55 hrs. Around wee hours of the same day, around 8 hours prior to departure, I was informed that the flight is cancelled due to technical reasons. When I asked them to accomodate me on their next flight, I was blatantly told that they don't have any flights for the next 5 days. How convenient for them. If I had to go 5 days later why would I book a ticket for that day? And in a haste, I booked a ticket of some other airline at more than double the cost that I had paid earlier. They should atleast compensate us for the loss that I had to bear as the cancellation was not done from my side. Instead I had to face a lot of harassment. The least they could do is compensate me.

                      Today morning I was flying from HYD to BLR by go air flight. The food which I ordered was Samosa. And I was served chilled samosas instead of at least it was not normal temperature. And I have asked for some sauce to it . But I was not given even that. I was asked for a proper change to buy.
                      All my pain is please do not repeat this to any other passengers.

                        GoAir is the worst Airline, they refuse to change the spelling even though it is a matter of just one alphabet, they ask you to cancel the air ticket and re-book that too at an extremely high cancellation charges of INR. 2, 225. What a money making racket!

                        While I asked the customer service executive to connect me to her senior regarding this issue, she puts me on hold for a bit and later decides to hang up on me. Extremely badly behaved.

                        While on the other hand Spice jet changes it without even charging an additional amount... I have been travelling with GoAir for year but I dont think I would ever travel with them going forward. Having a really bad experience.

When I called them for refund they said the refund will be done within a week it's 28 Jan 2017 and still I haven't received the refund. The flight no is G8-244 and booking reference no is OTB3Q9.

                          My ref pnr 52zsct ( bangalore to delhi, 15/1/2017) . I was not allowed to board the flight and declinded boarding as it was mentioned time over. Where as i was present at boarding gate 0720am. Due to this i had to purchase new ticket, costed rs/ 9008/- and had a mental stress.
                          I need to have explantion in this regard and compensation for the same.

                            Hi,

                            This is regarding Flight G8-116 from BLR to DEL on Saturday, Jan 14, 2017 scheduled to depart at 8:00 am.

                            I reached the counter at 7:05 am and was told that the counter is closed. On reiterating that the flight was at 8:00 am and I had reached before counter closure, the staff told arrogantly told it was 7:45 departure. I told the staff I didn't receive any such intimation. The staff then went on to say that, "Sms was sent to xxxxxx6110 about reschedule. Now tell me whose number is that?" The arrogance and rudeness of the certain staff member is the pinnacle of customer service and sows the face of the airline.

                            You preponed the flight and did not send any email intimation. The sms about reschedule was sent on a weekday with absolutely no intimation on the day before the flight.

                            I kept getting smses on web check-in and offers from Go Air. When I checked my phone on Friday, all your messages of the flight reschedule had scrolled up. (attaching the image). So even though I checked the GoAir sms window, I could not see any reschedule message.

                            I was one of the two passengers who reached before counter close time, didn't get either email or sms intimation and were denied access. You spent your energy trying to check your system on what intimation email bounced and what didn't.

                            You have poor and badly designed intimation systems. As an airline you choose not to spend on a credible sms/email service and your intimations email or sms fail often, what business do you have keeping the customer's money. It is unacceptable in today's day for an airline to make excuses like this.

                            I have spent the past 1.5 hours at your counter at the BLR airport without any promise of resolution and have now booked a competitor airline ticket for the journey. I want a refund of my flight amount approx INR 11, 000 and an apology for the rudeness of your staff.

                              I just made a booking through makemytrip from delhi to luckhnow within half
                              an hour i realised ticket has been booked for incorrect date. I instantly
                              called up make my trip and asked them to coorect or cancel the ticket but they are
                              saying they can not waive the airlines penalty charges. I told them it was
                              a software/typing error. And i called them right away after i made the booking to correct the booking or cancel. But they are adamant on paying the penalty charges. I sent a mail to nodle officer and spoke to call center as well they neither help nor transfer me to any manager.

                              Please note that as we have checked the complete details and found that INR 2, 225/- has been charged you for the airline's penalty. Kindly note that we have tried for the waiver off for the cancellation penalty, but airline denied for the same.

                              As a good will gesture we waived off our service fees and processed the applicable refund for the same.

                                Hello,
                                I wanted to request you that i had booked my ticket from pune - delhi pnr - akaopc on 28th of december through easy my trip.in. I had booked the flight by smarth goel and the flight was from pune to delhi. Flight had to fly at 10.45am and reach delhi at 12.50pm on 31st december.
                                When i reached airport in the morning for boarding, go-air attendants told me that the flight is delayed and now it will fly at 8.55pm in the evening. They told me either my ticket for refund or fly in 8.55pm flight. So i cancelled my flight and attendants told me that i will receive the refund within in seven working days, but yet now i hadn't received any from your side.
                                I request you to refund me my money i. E rs.6622/- as soon as poissible.

                                  my mom and I (Sulochana Kandoi, Priyanka Kandoi) ( PNR 7NGM2D, I2JV1A) were traveling from Kolkata to bagdogra yesterday by flight no G8-501 which was supposed to take off at 1:55 pm and we boarded the flight at around 1:40 pm but were made to sit inside for an hour and 10 mins and finally the flight took off at 3:17 pm! my mom being a heart patient was all worried and annoyed by this. for a long time there was no cabin crew whom we could ask about what was happening. our phones were already switched off and our relatives were so concerned and worried! later when an air hostess walked in, a fellow passenger asked her what was wrong and she said that they were waiting for clearance at the runway! this is sheer harassment to the passengers! horrible customer service! and yes the goair buses that take you from the terminal to the plane are worse than local buses!! i will think 100 times before traveling by goair again!

                                    I had sent the mail to the goair refunds team on 19th Dec 2016 regarding the cancellation of airline tickets and waving off the penalty and repeatedly calling up the customer care team. Customer team is not able to solve problem at there level and neither letting me contacting with the senior. I have mailed around 10 times to the refunds team but haven't got a single revert back till date that is till 2 jan 2017
                                    When I asked the customer care team to contact me with there senior they were reluctant to the same and neither provided any detail for contacting next higher level.

                                      I Mohammad Imran Padder have booked my ticket in Go Air on 17 Nov 2016 at 16 .20 from Srinagar to New Delhi with PNR no T88N18 then because of whether conditions it was cancelled and it was changed to 21 Nov 2016 at 16.00 but unfortunately same result and I had to travell by road and requested to customer care for refunding my ticket that was told to send in my account in 7 working days but still I m waiting please requesting to refund me sooner I m very upset with your assistance.
                                      After 3 weeks I called again to customer care no they said no request confirmed for ur refund and promised to refund in 7 working days again it's hilarious my next step is to go consumer coat

                                        I travelled with my family & friends by your flights G8-101 & G8-102 on 20/12/2016 and 24/12/2016 vide PNR No.DR3Z83, 1XG85 & 1HPOMJ from Delhi to Port Blair & from Port Blair to delhi respectively. Its really a surprising fact that the behaviour of the Go Air cruise was very rude/insulting of flight no.G8-102 from Port Blair to Delhi. When I asked the cruise from Port Blair he replied very rudely & his response was insulting & same thing was repeated by the staff from Kolkota. So I request the Go air authority to check the matter personally.
