I have a service contract no.[protected] expiring on 05/04/19, on 17/07/18 i had raised a complaint (B[protected]) that my refrigerator is not cooling. This call was attended on 18/07/18 at 4.15 pm by Mr. Umesh Nair. Mr. Umesh changed the relay and assured me that the fridge will be working Ok and cooling will take place within a few hours. But since the cooling did not happen till late evening I called Mr Umesh back and i was told by him that the compressor mus have gone.
Today I raised another complaint (B[protected]) and clearly stated that I require the technician between 4.30 and 5.30 pm. I recd a message that Mr. Umesh will be attending to the complaint. Till now I have not received any call from Mr. Umesh. when i called the call center the reply was thet the technician will come between 6-7 pm I was given the no of Mr Yunus and Mr. Pankaj Bhatkar but both are not answering the phones.
I had taken the day off from work so that I am available when the technician arrives. I cannot take leave everyday and stay at home.
There is no response from Mr. Umesh even after calling several times. The other no. of the service center [protected] also there is no reply .
Please look into the matter.

    Dear Customer care,

    Last year 23/05/2017 I bought Godrej Dining table, Godrej Cot and bed at a total cost of Rs.2, 10, 000 ( I hereby attach the invoice copy for your reference)

    At that time the sales man offered me two options

    Either 32, 000 discount from total bill amount or
    Free Godrej A/C worth Rs.45, 000
    I agreed and took offer of Godrej A/C (at that time my home was under construction so that I took delivery of A/C on 31/08/2017.)

    Last month 19/06/2018 A/C got repaired and I informed Customer care (Complaint no-C[protected])

    20/06/2018- A service engineer came to home, looked into A/C and said indoor unit BOARD Problem, while he leaves he took the board along with him.

    23/06/2018 engineer (Prabakaran Ph [protected]) came with NEW BOARD, he installed and went, again within half an hour A/C got repaired. I contacted him, he said he will come after two days with NEW BOARD.

    25/06/2018 engineer (Rajesh PH-[protected]) came with NEW BOARD and replaced the repaired board. On that day A/C worked only for 6 hours.

    26/06/2018 I contacted Service Engineer Rajesh, he came and checked. After checking he said a part in Outdoor unit has got repaired, he himself went and bought new part and fixed. Only two days A/C worked.

    Again I contacted Mr.Rajesh he gave his superior number to contact ([protected]) I contacted him also, On 27/06/2018 I went to Godrej service centre, Ambattur.

    There I met Dept Senior Service Mr.Dinesh, he directed me to Mr. Syedmohamed ([protected]). I contacted Syed, Syed directed me to Mr. Vasanth.

    On 09/07/2018 Mr. Vasanth came to home I explained all the problem from the beginning, he repaired the A/C and assured that hereafter it will work properly if not contact me at any time and went. Again within two days A/C got repaired.

    12/07/2018 I contacted Dept Senior Service Mr. Dinesh and I said I don’t want this A/C please take this away from here and replace it with new one. He agreed to refund the money and asked me to send the invoice copy, I did so. After seeing the invoice copy he said it was given at free of cost so that it cannot be refunded. (pls refer whats app image)

    After all this, a service engineer came, and now he is telling completely a different story that the problem is with Current fluctuation.

    Now I am totally upset with your BRAND- GODREJ. And I really want to know the answer for several questions which I can correlate with my experience from your brand.

    Why are you cheating customers?- At the time of purchase you offered me cash reduction, instead that I got A/C from you. But now how can you tell that A/C as gift.
    Don’t you have proper trained or well experienced engineers?- For the past one month I am contacting your customer care for several times. Each and every time they come just do something for sake and they go. Their service don’t even last for 2 days.
    Why don’t you value customer?- Do you think I don’t have any job to do rather than chasing your service engineer, visiting your customer care, looking at A/C whether it is working or not? Etc.


    Because of this problem many nights I lost my sleep so that I had medical issues. Many of my friends and family members suggested me to buy Bluestar A/C, I am the fool who bought this.

    I had a great image over GODREJ but you people proved that my thinking is completely wrong. Please let me know WHY ARE YOU CHAETING CUSTOMER LIKE THIS? Instead you would have asked me to pay total amount Rs. 2, 10, 000 I would have happily paid. There you played a complete drama of offer Rs.32, 000.

    Godrej tagline- Brighter Living, (better you change it as BITTER living).

    Sorry to say this Sir, But I have no other option. Literally I feel like burning the A/C in front of your showroom, So public will know the fact.

    I here by request you to reply to my e-mail with answer for my questions and also replace this A/C or refund my Rs. 32, 000 as you agreed at the time of purchase.

      Sir... In this regard it is intimated that i was purchased double door refrigerator about a month ago and from the very first day...it has a problem regarding its sensor...its sensor beeps continuously even when doors were closed...its very irritated and we have to open the doors and close it again nd again to stop this sensor...it persists the same problem and beeps a lot about 15 to 20 times in a day...your technicians visited my home about 3 to 4 times and they changed one of its part so called p.c...but the problem has not solved...kindly replace my refrigirator as early as possible...i am the regular customer of godrej from last 35 years...

        I have purchased a godrej refrigerator (sx-221) on 23-feb-2018 and on 5 feb 2018, i lodged a complaint for issue in:-
        1. Freezer part of the refrigerator
        2. Water logging at the back side of refrigerator and leaking on the ground.
        3. Evaporation inside the refrigerator.

        An unskilled technician from godrej visited and he adjusted some wire below the freezer and guided us for some things which were out of the box like when ever u open the freezer door, first defrost it and wait for 15-20 min and then open the freezer door bcz otherwise it will get damaged so whenever i need some thing from the freezer it means i should wait for 15-20 min every time which does not make any sense so i requested a visit from senior technician and he said that the issue will remain like this in this freeze and there is no solution of this isssue.

        Again after frustration from the freeze i raised a complaint on 3 july 2018 and he again replied the same.
        then again i raised a complaint on 14 july 2018 and technician said there is a issue of thermosate and we need to replace that part but i denied to replace the part and i want my freeze to be replaced by a new one bcz there is a manufacturing defect from the date i purchased the freeze and all your technician differs in their opinion.

        I want my refrigerator to be replaced as soon as possible bcz i am facing lots of issue in this and all my stuffed in the refrigerator is getting wasted. So you are requested to get it replaced and protect your goodwill and brand image of the company.

          I booked and paid in full for a godrej double door refrigerator in reliance digital jorhat showroom almost one months ago.
          Irony is that it took two week time to get the refrigerator delivered to my home address.
          But it was not the end of the painful story.
          After almost three weeks of the delivery, this world famous Brand's refrigerator suddenly stopped working.the reason:gas inside the fridge got over.
          Dear sir/madam
          We have never heard or seen in our lifetime of a brand new refrigerator running out of gas.
          When requested for a replacement of this defective refrigerator then we were told by the reliance digital visiting technicians that they will repair it.as replacement is not possible.as this world famous refrigerator company does not have any kind of tie up with reliance digital.It seemed that without having any kind of tie up, the godrej company is allowing them to sale it's product.Regarding the matter
          I contacted godrej customer care.they were also not much informative, non caring and getting irritated easily.
          So i was bound to ask you this quetsion directly as a suffering customer that :1. Could you consider this as a serious issue and help us to get little justice by replacing the newly brought refrigerator?
          2.Is this godrej's head office policy to let godrej brand refrigerator to be sold and repaired by the people who are not at all representing godrej??

            Hi,
            I'm holding a double door refrigerator.

            My complaint is regarding Godrej's policy of levying 'visit charges' for under warranty products.

            Today I called up Godrej's customer care number[protected] to complain about my refrigerator not cooling. About a month back, I had registered a similar complaint to godrej and that time compressor of my refrigerator was replaced and I was told it has 3 months warranty.

            It is well under 3 months since that day, and suspecting that compressor might be at fault again due to similar problem symptoms I told the same to Mr. Raghuveer (customer care executive who registered my complaint at Godrej customer care) today and he informed me if the product is under warranty I won't have to pay for its fault again but I will have to pay 'visit charges'.

            My question is why should I pay anything if a godrej product is not of good quality and fails being under warranty?

            To me this seems unfair and I want to have an explanation about this unfair practice?

            I am hoping my complaint would be received in positive spirits and as a suggestion to improve customer satisfaction of brand Godrej.

              Hello,
              I have brought 2 AC's of Godrej Brand 1.5 ton split each April 2018.
              One remote of AC is not working. I logged complaint with company. Somebody fr company visit n moved away by saying will update you soon.
              But after follow up with them n calling from my end continue now they are saying Rs 1200/- will be charged as remote is not part of Gaurantee or Warranty.
              AC worth Rs 80k has warranty but additional parts r not covered. How smartly they apply term & Conditions.
              Shame on such a Big Brand.
              I remembered one salogan after their remarks " Uchi Dukan, aur Feeka Pakwaan".
              I would recommend other to go with good brands in market like career which I'm using for last 18 yrs not a single complaint has come. Samsung split, i used for 10 yrs excellent service. But first time i go wid local brand Godrej with very bad service level.
              Look forward for a justice from forum for this poor service n commitment level from Godrej.

                Hello Team..

                I purchased a godreg automatic machine on dated 2/4/2017 via flipkart. There are 2 year warranty on this product.
                There was some problem on machine, I call your customer care executive, than a person came on 1 June and after checking the product he told me that PVC problem in machine. He came after 2 days but problem still not shortout.
                After that day they deny to visit home and message came from gojrej
                * Godrej SMS * For your Godrej appliance complaint no.L[protected], we could not locate your address. Pls call our call center at [protected]

                On the demand of your customer care executive I also provide a copy of bill, product code and serial number, but my problem not resolved. I call many times but they always give me excuse.
                So I request to you please short out my problem.

                    It is about godrej refrigerator. I had registered a service contract with service person rahul tiwari from godrej. We payed the amount and he mentioned the contract letter will be courier in 20 days. We didn’t receive any letter or call from them.

                    My refrigerator is not working so i called service center of godrej and person name abhishek of complaint department received the call, he said they don’t have any contract details so they cannot do anything and later started talking rudely and disconnected the call.

                    So i called the service person who collected the money and he said i cannot book or register your complaint so u call service center.

                    Now i don’t know whom should i contact for servicing my refrigerator. It is the worst service of godrej. They are just taking the money and not servicing or conversing in a proper manner.

                      My godrej semi-automatic washing machine complaint is still pending since 15 june vide complaint no. 103633. And nobdy has come to my place to shortout/ replacement of machine spinntub motor & your service centre (Gunjan electronics laxmi nagar delhi-92) person is asking me the secret code # regarding this complaint.. I have called up your customer helpline # so many times but there is no any support provided to me for my machine problem and they tell me your above said request has been closed. Now they taken another request vide no. 111088 for the same. Now till date my request is still pending. I think there is no any tat to resolved the customers issues i am associated with godrej since long but now harrassed by your poor & pathetic services.
                      Requested you pls. Check & resolved my issue asap.

                        I booked a Refrigerator (model number-RT EON 260/240 DS BLOSSOM) on 21.6.2018, but They have sent me another refrigerator(model number-RT EON 241 P 3.4/2017) on 25.6.2018.
                        Immediately After that I request to the sales person Mr.Mithun Rudra to change this product and send me the exact model which I have ordered, but he started ignoring the matter. It's already 11th day, but i didn't get my product back. Even I couldn't use the refrigrator and facing so much problem.
                        Mr. Mithun Rudra had shown me RT EON 260/240 DS BLOSSOM... but delivered me different model. From last two days he didn't pic my phone call. This is clear sign of cheating. This is not done.
                        I request you to solve my problem. Please take necessary action. I'm attaching all photos of the product, which He shown me and which he delivered..

                          This is in reference to the original complain of l[protected] raised on date 21st apr 2018.
                          We raised such complaint since our refrigrator (Double door) was not working at all (No ice, no cooling). My registered mobile number is +91-[protected] and its in the name of my mother mrs. Geeta srivastava.
                          So a service guy name, shiv kumar gupta came and suggested us that "timer" and "condenser" need to replaced for this machine.
                          They replaced both the parts, refilled the gas. Total cost for this was charged somewhere about 6000 rs. We were informed that both the parts will come with a warranty. I have original receipts with me if required please let me know i will share it.

                          They asked us to check the machine for next 48 hours. Well it worked for few days and again it stopped cooling within a month time. So we raise another complaint l[protected] on 24th may 2018. Person visited and realize they have done half the work last time and said that gas got finished. So they refill the gas again.                           Again within a few days we realize, freezer is not working at all even after refiling the gas and changing the timer and condenser. So i have raise another compliant yesterday on 25th june l[protected]. This time a service person name md. Nausad came, first of all he was very unprofessional with his talk. He lied on our face about service charge and after arguing a lot left saying that he will update to the company whatever is required. He was asking for almost double the standard charge even though our machine never got fixed.

                          Now, is this kind of service you people are providing in the name godrej brand? Is this your brand value? If your company service people replace genuine parts which does not last for even months. Even fake chinese parts work better than your genuine parts. Why should your customer pay a huge some of money on your so called genuine parts and service?? Just to feel like cheated. Its been 2 months and you people fail to fix the issue with my refrigerator. I wont be paying any single money anymore until my original issue get resolved properly.

                            I tultul chakraborty, here by launching complain against godrej service procedure. They are ridiculously careless. I bought an air condition 1ton inverter split machine; model no gic 12 tinv 3 rwqh indoor[protected]sa00657 & gic 12 tinv 3 rwqh[protected]sa00749 along with split ac braket k[protected] on 17 th june 2018 from khosla electronics dunlop b. T road branch. They delivered the product at 21st june but still doesn't install it. The godrej service provider call me to know detail of the delivery adress and told that he is available for our service and we can call him for any service regarding help. The no of that person is [protected]. But allas still now no one is came up to my home to install the ac as well the service provider not answering the call nd not pick up my phone. What has to be done right now? Is this the srvice provision of godrej here?

                                  We have booked new refrigerator via application form no.[protected] dated 30th May 2018. Person from services centre has visited our office, filled application form & collected HDFC chq. no. 003904 dt. 30.05.2018 amounting to Rs. 23500/- only. We are following up with prabhadevi centre for delivery of new refrigerator but till date, we have not got the delivery.
                                  We at Tarla Dalal research on food and need this refrigerator badly. PLEASE GOT OUR REFRIGERATOR DELIVER TO OUR LOWER PAREL OFFICE ASAP. THANK YOU.

                                    I regret to inform you that I have purchased 235 liter refrigerator from
                                    5th june 2015 but currently its not working i cheked from technician he advised me for new compressor i file complaint to Godrej Customercare on 17th june 2018 Complaint no L[protected] but after two days not resolve my issue so i call again then she registered another complaint L[protected] but still my issue has not resolved Ballia weather is 45° due to this issue i am facing much mental and physical problems.
                                    Another issue is Compressor guarantee due to guarantee period of 5 years of compressor i can not pay for technician charge but technician told me for 475 for visit charge.
                                    So i request to concern person take action and order regarding this issue.

                                    Next day i talked to customercare she provide me another no of Godrej Service center but all no not working.
                                    Godrej doing cheat to innocent people.
                                    Due to this issue i am facing problems in this very hot summer day.
                                    So i request to concern person take action and order regarding this issue as well as ballia Godrej Service center the cant pick any complaint no.

                                    This is the charges of replacement of compressor only could you clarify about charges if my compressor in warranty why i have to pay gas charge and service charge also.

                                      I have purchase an automatic washing machine from your godrej sales man mr. Debi prasad mishra and received a new automatic machine on 06.06.2018.in the same day your company demo people came and open the sealed package. After opening the packet one big damage line was found out in the front as well as in the back side of the washing machine. The demo people took some photographs and sent to their higher authority via whatsapp in our presence on 06.06.2018 and told that it is replaced within a short period.in this duration i talk to the sales representative mr. Debi prasad mishra and he told that it requires seven days or otherwise you change the model those are available. I denied and told that i require the same model and wait for seven days. On 13.06.2018, i call to mr. Debi prasad mishra and know the status of our washing machine. He told that i do not know the status and told that you ask to servicing station. Again i booked a toll free complain on 13.06.2018. After that the service people came out on 13.06.2018 and again took the photographs and sent to their higher authority. Till date nothing happens and i did not have a call from service people. Again i booked a complain today i. E on 15.06.018. When i register a complain on the toll free no., after that i got a call from service people. It is very embarrassing situation for me and my wife. It was very difficult for my wife mrs. Snehalata choudhury as we had exchange the old washing machine to your company and she used for washing the clothes in hand. Hence kindly return my old washing machine with the amount i have spent so that i will purchase a new one i. E samsung, lg etc. It is a very hard to say that your service was so poor and only some work may be done only due to tool free no. I had call to mr. Debi prasad mishra several times in a day and he did not receive the call. Hence kindly advise me what to do in this situation. If only one way is open for me i. E the consumer forum. If you did not help me in this matter, i will definitely go for a consumer help. I am attached here with the bill and photographs for your kind reference. A acknowledgment letter with proper action is high appreciated.
