I'm sridhar.in my house godrej refrigerator got fire on 2/11/17 afternoon around 3.45 pm as my 3 year son and mother in law was inside bedroom. They woke-up by hearing some blowing sound, fire grew quickly and makes full home fill with black smoke. Within few seconds there was panic in my entire house and ours neighbors came and bring the situation under control. Both my son and mother in law was stand still and become more panic. Our entire village came to our house by sawing the smoke.
On the same same day person from tamil nadu electricity board came and checked and conformed no issues with electricity like overload or wiring problem. Even we had stabilizer for this fridge and its working fine.

We have called to toll free number and raised a complaint 2 days later once our house situation come to normal. Person from godrej visited our home 3 times and took poto and also enquired. The manager from godrej visited and mentioned that he will inform this to head office and will revert within a week. But still we didn't received any feedback from them. My son got panic and got fever a

Even after 20 days of incident we didn't get any proper reply from godrej. Take this as priority and revert us within a day. Or else we planned to file a case in consumer court.

    Service contracts for my refrigerator has been deplorable.in my last contract signed about 3 years ago, no technician from your service department visited my residence to service my refrigerator. So for almost a year now i had refused your service contract.

    Now about 20 days ago, my wife has been receiving endless calls from your service department to renew the service contract. They must have called about a dozen times just for the purpose of getting the contract. Even after my wife informed them about your service department making big promises but do not adhere to their commitments. They were even more persistent about the contract.
    Eventually my wife gave in and asked them to physically show what all the contract covers.

    She was informed that all moveable parts inside the refrigerator would be replaced if damaged. My wife then informed him that the glass tray, covering the veg rack was cracked for the last 3 years and has not been replaced. He said that too would be replaced and he would send a technician the very next day. It's 15 days now and nothing has been done inspite of making endless calls to your service department.

    Now i've been told that the glass tray is not covered in the contract. Why do your sales executives make false promises. It looks like they are given a target and they don't care how they get it. Incidentally, as your sales executive left with the signed contract, another sales executive was requesting to come up to my apartment to sign a contract barely 10 minutes later.

    I know want to revoke the contract and need the amount of rs 3631/- returned to my bank account.

      Reference to my previous complaint dated 16/09/2017, your company has replaced with new refrigerator on 22/09/2017. On 23/09/2017. The person namely mr. Samshad visited for demo and opened the packed refrigerator. During the demo it has been again noticed that the gas ket is not working properly and the parts of the refrigerator as mentioned below also found to be missing:-
      1, brine pack
      2chiller tray assembly
      3crisper cover assembly with quick access flap
      4vegetable tray assembly
      5, store & serve bins assembly
      6 poly bag holders
      Mr. Samshad after taking photo of the same sent to the concern department of your company. I also brought the above issue to the notice of mr. Siddharth the concern person and also lodged complaint on customer care under the complaint no.209063. I further also kept on contacting the concern person mr. Rakesh, siddharth and dheeraj to resolve the issue but all in vain. It is intimated me that the said issue have been updated by your team. It is beyond the scope of my understanding that how your team has updated you regarding resolving of the issue. I am very disappointed that my complaint is not being attended properly. This type of your attitude spoils brand image of your company. You are requested to resolve the issue immediately.

        Dear team,

        Thanks for making fool around about your pathetic products and after sell service. Its been almost a 45 days about my air condition complain. Bogus company and bogus product sell by godrej. Top of that ur horrible terrifying customer service namely mr pawan.

        Does it takes 45 days to solve ac fault. Every day i have to follow up regarding me complain and mr pawan says today i will resolve it give me day time. 4th nov he promise to deliver the faulty ac motor replacement, still awaited. After today's call he need 1 more day as he only have 1 excuse.

        I feel like cheated by godrej team who least bothered for his customer. Only thing u guys do to sell a faulty product to customer and make profit.

        No body is bother to reply on my mails and its your responsibility to do follow up because u have purchased the bogus godrej products.

        The only option left for me is a consumer court and you will have to answer them.

        My Complain Num is 102727, purchase Godrej Split AC 1.5 6month back and from last 2 months its not working and no one is there in Godrej to solve this.

        Seriously its a worst customer service experience I have ever seen in my life, and the product to. They sold faulty product, to customer.

          I have baught a godrej refrigerator last year in 2016. From may 2018 it stopped working all of sudden. I made complain in godrej helpline. Godrej sent mechanic. They tried but it didn't get recover. Then godrej responded me for refund in october 2017. After that one month has been passed but godrej does not refund me till now. Godrej just passing the time day by day and postpone my refund. Godrej is a big brand but it is not showing their responsibility. I am really upset with godrej.

          Cloths were not drying so well. Therefore contacted service centre.
          Because of the technician's mistake, PCB dameged.
          For repair, they are demanding cost of PCB Rs.5200.
          Before repair, machine was in working condition. But now machine is not starting.

          Kindly avoid purchasing godrej air conditioners .. I am repenting the decision. ..

              I am amandeep raheja from delhi and would like share my experience with you on registering a repair request of godrej eon refrigerator purchased in 2012.

              Sunday - 5 nov 2017
              I made a call to[protected] to register a service request for my refrigerator. The customer care executive assured me that the engineer would come to my address by end of the day.
              I got the call from executive and was told that he shall be coming to my place after 2 hours. I called the executive after 4.30pm and was told that godrej representative would come on monday.
              Since it was sunday and whole day was almost over i did not raise any concern though company officials were giving false information from day 1. Also i wanted things should be resolved amicably.

              Monday - 6 nov 2017
              The executive named ajay calls me at 11 am and tells me we would reach in hours time to my house. At 1.45pm i called him to find his location and confirmed him the address and location again.
              Ajay reached at my home at 2.40pm informed that the motor-fan (Part) is exhausted and needs to be replaced. The cost of new motor-fan is inr 4635. Ajay takes the part from my refrigerator and assures to be back by 45 min.
              However, on his return the new motor-fan he was carrying was not new at all. It was the same motor-fan he took from my refrigerator and was claiming to be the new and fresh part.
              My wife took some picture of the motor-fan before ajay left my house to godrej service centre. All the serial number and marking were exactly same on the part what he took from my house and what he got back.
              Now, ajay was caught red handed so he came up with a story that "the service centre executive gave him wrong part and he didn’t check”. I asked him if you got this new part from your service centre there must be some receipt or challan on which you have been issued the part from your company. After all the arguments ajay also said this part is not working so you are right it is the old part what i took.
              Ajay then again left my house after assuring to be back with new part by 2 hours.
              I then called ajay at 6pm to find his location as i was also traveling back to home. Ajay refused to come to my home and said i am attending a pending call i can’t leave it. I asked him isn’t my call is pending for you. Helplessly i agreed to ajay that he would complete my repair work on tuesday.
              I was not happy with the experience so i decided to call customer care at 6.20pm. This time the call was diverted to one of the executives mobile. His name was mr. Bansal. He was kind enough to listen to my concern and empathised me.
              Also ensured me that i will get service from another executive and would arrange a feedback call. So i relaxed thinking by tomorrow i refrigerator would be working.

              Tuesday - 7 nov 2017
              I did not get any feedback call till 1pm and no executive called me. I made a call to[protected] to know my service status. I was addressed that they have a update that i have told service engineer to come my house after 3pm and ajay will not come other guy will come as i had some issue with him.
              However, i had no such conversation with anyone and same i informed to that customer service executive.
              At 2.45 i get a from awadesh kumar call that he would reach my place by 5-6pm. I called awadesh kumar (Engineer) at 6.30pm to find how long will he take. And was informed that today this complained can’t be closed i would come tomorrow. After this i called to customer care no that may get to talk mr. Bansal who understood my concern yesterday. But surprisingly, bansal did not answer any of the calls i made.

              I request and demand the resolution to my complain at the earliest.

                Sir i bought ac in april 2017 from godrej interio kalyan, on 16th of october 2017 i lodged compliant/call for servicing and non working of remote. The kalyan service centre of godrej mr. Thorat has sent some technician and they serviced the ac and taken the remotte for replacement as it is under warranty period. Immediately after one hour they called me and demanded rs.1250/- as replacement charges for new remote or 750/- for repair of old remote. On discussion they agreed to give new remote or universal remote within 2-3 days. But till today 05.111.2017 they are just promising and using very abusive language with me. My compliant is for remote and the three persons i. E. Mr. Madhukar thorat, mr. Deepak and mr. Shravan area manager and they told to make complaint to anyone they dont bother, lastly they told name of mr. Subarto

                  Dear sir,
                  I am surprised to receive ypur sms today at 18.48 pm that the my above complaint has been closed. I have been waiting for your response from the date of my complaint since more than a fortnight as the godrej official had told to have written for the replacement of my washing machine which is totally defunct and prone to electric shock when touched.in fact my family members have been electrocuted
                  Several times when tried to use it. Several times i complained and your mechanic came for repairing but it is futile. It is a defective product and requested for it replace ment. Your local official also promised for replace ment. But the sms received today swurprised me as ihave not been cotacted by you. If any of my family member or my maid servent is electrocuted by it you will be held responsible for it. As you are not listening tomy complaint and closing the comlaint inorder to comeout from the clutch of the date of warranty. It is not expected from a company of repute like yours. Please keep it in mind that i have never satisfied with the product and my washing machine is still defective which may take any ones live. For which you will solely be held responsible for negligence of attending and customer complaint and closing complaint by resorting to false and cheating method

                    Tapan pal, a senior citizen, had registered an ac complaint on 27.10.2017 vide # 737020. After several followups he was tired and asked his daughter rikhiya pal to get in touch with godrej. On 04.11.2017 i, rikhiya pal, spoke to customer care executive mubarak who assured me service by 5pm same day. He gave me no. Of shyamal dey, some branch manager and senior employee [protected]. I spoke to him and sent him complaint details but neither he took any action nor responded to my message as a courtesy. I got a call from ms. Madhumita from no.[protected] at 1.30pm on 04.11.2017 assuring me prompt service on my complaint. My case got allocated to kolkata service centre and that's how she got to know about the complaint. Later her manager sudip mondal spoke to me. After several repeated followups from me and several false assurances from all these people my complaint no. Is still unattended on 05.11.2017, as i write. Worst ever customer service i have ever experienced. Mr. Godrej please make note of your incompetent team at ground level who are face of your company and spoiling your company's brand value. Your market share is being eaten up, courtesy your staff, apart from competitors. It's alarming. A feedback from a customer who has grown up reading case studies about you and your company in her mba classes.

                      We have bought a washing machine godrej eon top load fully automatic 7kg 2 months back. There is issue with timer in washing machine. Every time during the rinse period timer increases. Hence due to which it takes 1 and half hour to wash clothes. We have complaint to godrej service last week. Person who has come to check washing machine did not even bothered to wait and check my machine issue.. He was in hurry, did not check the issue and was talking rudely to us. We have complaint again but person with out comming to home closed my ticket. We are still facing this issue.

                        I have been sending mails to godrej for more then a month now. And these people are so ridiculous that they pay no heed to revert back to their customers. People come visit check the appliance and say we will discuss and update about what we can do for you but they never revert or appear again. I never had any idea that this is how these people will handle an issue if i face any sort of inconvenience. I wish i could rate them in negative. I seriously will never suggest anyone to purchase any product from this company. Those who cannot treat their customers well do not also deserve to have them. If you people have any sense responsibility left then then start treating your customers well.
                        Godrej simply sucks. Never shop from them.
                        Highly disappointed and have faced lot of convenience in three months!!!

                        do you think that two mails post getting a complain will sort the matter out.
                        don't you people get this that it has been a month since i am mailing your CUSTOMER CARE and you people do not even bother to revert me with any update. that is not a thing which costed me 100-200 rupee. i have paid 50, 000 for that it is is my right to get services if i am facing issues.
                        your representatives do not even have any idea about what action are they suppod yo take.
                        4 people have visited us so far and not even one has given us any update about how they are going to fix this problem.
                        I do not even have trust left to get this product exchange.
                        Coz if i face same issue again or may be something else then you people will never take any initiative to look into the matter.
                        I don't really get the point how is your company even surviving.

                        This is to bring to your notice that since i got no revert from your side and even no one from you customer support team has bothered so far to look into this matter.
                        Considering your negligence and careless behaviour i decided not to pay the emi.
                        So far you must have got the update that payment has not been processed and let me get this fact cleared for you people that i will not initiate any payment for this product now.
                        Also, i now want to get refund of the amount that i have paid so far and take this product back from us.

                          Dear sir, in 20 months my above washing machine got failed eight times, here in my house we only 2 aged people living. Preveouesly we were using national semi auto for 10 years without any complaint - as my wife is sick she is not able to do any work properly. So i compelled to take this machine with spinning. But its not even given a help for us so please give an exchange with a better brand from your one.

                            Dear sir/madam,
                            I have godrej fully automatic washing machine for which i have made a complaint in customer care (P[protected]), complaint was attended by the service centre person on 24th oct 17 and person told us that we need to change the balance ring of washing machine which will cost around 300 to 400 rs only. And i have given the service charge of rs. 385/- to the person. Then today 28/10/2017 person came with the balance ring and open the washing machine, but now the person is saying that they need to brake the gear box for fitting the balance ring and for that gear box we have to bear the cost of rs. 2500/- to 3000/-. Now can you please clarify that how is it justifying that gear box which is good condition now. And for fitting the balance ring to washing machine which is costing rs 250/- to 300/-, why i should bear the cost of gear box which is in good condition. Service centre person saying that this is the fault of company that they have made this structure machine.
                            Is company has made the faulty products?? Of company/service centre doesn't have the skilled service engineers to do the good job. Currently now the machine centre nut which is fixed to gear box is broken by the person and centre fibre ring which is attached to gear box is not fixed now.

                            I am unable to understand that company like godrej, i am facing the such problems. As per person from service centre informed, was i understand that company wants to make money in this such way that customer should bear the cost of such spare parts which is not damaged but because of fixing some small thing service person needs to brake the spare parts which is costing 10 times higher than the spare part which is actually damaged.

                            Please resolve the issue and give me and my family a peace of mind for this issue. Awaiting for your prompt action for resolving the issue.

                              Dear sir,
                              I already lodged a complaint with godrej smart care online in their email id : [protected]@godrej.com in the second week of september, 2017, and after 2 weeks one technician came to my house, and on inspecting of the washing machine, he went back saying that some spare parts are to be replaced, and it has to be obtained from the godrej company, but till date he neither came back nor anybody from their service centre made the washing machine alright. Thereafter, many times calls were made on their toll free number [protected] & [protected], but no favorable response made by either by godrej smart care or from their service centre, and my washing machine lying idle for near about two months. The details of washing machine & day to day activities after getting the washing machine faulty is given below:
                              On 08/09/2016 i purchased from vijay sales, sion (W). Mumbai, one godrej washing-machine viz. Brand name : eon fuzzy+; model no: wt eon 651 pfh; product code:4m1671; serial no: pd0018-[protected] of 6.5 kg. One month back the said washing machine got faulty with the following observations i. E.
                              1) at the first instance it shown e3, though the upper lid was properly closed.2) button of 'start/pause' (Outer touch layer) went down.3) smell of wire burning & some smoke came out from the rear.
                              Immediately i lodged complaint on their toll phone no. [protected], and their technician after some days came and inspected, and stated that one parts is to be replaced & he went away. However, he did not turned up or came back with the spare parts for quite a long time. Thereafter again i lodged complaint/inquired with their service centre, and they said that the spare part is not available in the company, and they are awaiting for the same.
                              Sir, it is surprising to note that my purchased appliance being a new model washing machine and it's cost is approx. Rupees nineteen thousand, and such a reputed company like godrej could not provide or kept stock of the essential spare parts in their service centre which are to be replaced in the event of the customers are in distress, and that too within the guarantee period.
                              Now several false messages are coming on my mobile number-[protected] that
                              (A) on 5th october messaged “godrej technician-mumbai-abdul kadir khan will be attending your call -
                              B[protected] on 05/10/2017.
                              (B) on 06th october messaged “we are closing your godrej appliance complaint no. B[protected] as you
                              Have said that there is no problem.”
                              (C) on 15th october, messaged ‘service code given, share with technician. Call no. B[protected]”.
                              (D) on 16th october at 1.18 p. M. “technician abdul kadir khan will be attending your call - b[protected] on 16/10/2017.
                              (E) on the same day 2.45 p. M. Said “we are closing your godrej appliance complaint no. B[protected] as you have said there is no problem.”
                              Note: the fact is that no such technician visited, and i have not told anybody that there is no problem is there in the said appliance.

                              In view of the above circumstances, your are requested provide compensation from m/s. Godrej & boyce mfg.co., ltd., mumbai-400 079, for the all trauma myself & my family members are facing for the last near about 2 months in the mental stress being caused for contacting them several time and for the disappointment because of their lethargic & unfriendly attitude towards the customer, my money spent on all things from the date of purchasing their product in conveyance, calls, traveling, money spent on washing clothes by other people, since my wife is ill, and the cost of the washing machine spend with interest till final settlement & oblige.

                              (c) On 16th October at 1.18 P.M. “Technician Abdul Kadir Khan will be attending your call-B[protected] on 16/10/2017.
                              (d) On the same day 2.45 P.M. said “We are closing your Godrej appliance complaint No.B[protected] as you have said there is no problem.”

                              On 23rd October, 2017, it is messaged that "We have attended to your appliance. In case of pending work, please give a missed call within 7 days on [protected]; However, several missed called made on the same Number. On 24th October, one Mr. Shashikant Rathe on contacting informed that spare parts came, and will be sending the Technician. But nobody turned up, and again contacting them on their Toll Number, on 25th October, This Mr. Yashwanth Rathe passed on to their section on 6th floor, and one man over there told that parts didn't received, but on the way, and expecting the same. Now today i.e. on 26th October, 2017, one Mr. Hafiz came, and he could not remove the E3 remark coming on the panel, and then he told that from PCB supply not going, and informed that PCB been changed, and again that problem of showing E3 was coming, so he cut the connections coming from three different side to 'door switch' and made into one connection, and when asked him why 'door switch' not been replaced, then he told that it is not available with him, and again if it is ordered with the Company, and to receive the same, then another one week time it will take. Here I would like to say that those three different wire connections he made one & insulation tape wounded have been kept open by him, touching the metal body of the washing machine, which with full of water on functioning any time, may cause electrical shock and endanger our life, for which M/s. Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Mumbai, may be held responsible. Putting all efforts by that Mr. Hafiz, Technician deputed by Godrej Appliances, he could not remove E3 remark coming on the display panel & could not be able to function the said washing machine, and he went away back. I now hereby demand that I may be either compensated with the cost of the washing machine I paid i.e. Rs. 18945/- PLUS Rupees Ten thousand; total Rs. 30, 000/- being for the trauma my family members gone through, and the addl. expenditure incurred for all incidents happened thereafter with interest thereon; or otherwise, M/s.Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd.(Godrej Appliances), Mumbai, may please be directed to deliver to my house immediately on 'door delivery' a brand new model Washing Mashing(fully automatic_ costing M.R.P. of Rs. 30, 000/- & above.

                              It's not understood why Indian Consumer Complaints Forum opened a site like 'Consumer Complaints', and just fooling the Consumers by asking to Submit a Complaint, and then asking them to Update, and on updating, stereotype message sending like "Your details have been shared with our concerned team.                               It is highly regretted that I have not been favoured/delivered with the Refund-Cheque for Rs.18, 945/- till date, inspite if the Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Mumbai([protected]@godrej.com), Pick-Up personnel took away the defective Washing Machine on 29th November, 2017 from my home, and after that no response received from them in giving the cheque to me, though near about four months are going to get complete since we are not able to use washing-machine at my home, though about Rs. 20, 000/- spent from my pocket towards the purchase of this Godrej Washing Machine. Two days before, from your Complaints Forum somebody called me and inquired about the position of this case, and still nothing fruitful happened till date in issuing me with the Refund Cheque for Rs. 18, 945/-.

                                This is the fifth time we are registering a complaint against a product which we have purchased _ months back. We find frost being accumulated in the lower compartment time and over, even post keeping the minimum temperature at considerable levels. We have told the service personnel repeatedly to check the issue at hand, however our complaint has been brushed aside stating that this happens due to "the slope at the area." we find the reasoning to be completely illogical. We believe that the defect lies in the product and post our repeated requests it has fallen on deaf ears.

                                We would request you to arrange for a replacement of the defected product or arrange for refund and take the product from our residence. We cannot afford to reiterate the same thing over and over again.

                                  My one ton split a/c was not cooling and i made a complaint and one technician by name mr. Saravanan came to attend on 05/09/17. He told that circuit board is out and it will be rectified and fixed back. After one week when i contacter one miss. Mahalakhmi (Chennai) she told me that board is beyond repair and will be replaced with in a week, when i contacted again she answered me hat they have received a wrong board from mumbai. After a long time when i contacter her again she told me that board is of old type and it will take sometime to get. More than a month has passed and no solution is found. More over when i contact them the answer is evasive and irresponsible. Since i have trust in godrej all of my three a/c are are godrej make and fridge too. I have the feeling that the trust is being erroded slowly. Pl. Do the needful at he earliest.

                                    I had logged a compliant for my single door refrigerator which was not cooling.
                                    On 18th oct one technician came and told that its compressor problem other technician will come and look.
                                    He was not bother to tell when the other guy will come.
                                    I am taking follow-up from last week calling customer care and service center and they are just fooling me by telling technician will come asap,

                                    Customer care is telling that they can only forward my compliant and nothing else.
                                    Service center people are just give me dates on 18th oct when i call service center they give me next date 21st oct.
                                    Now on 21st they had given me 23rd i. E monday. Still they have not call me back that when the technician will arrive.
                                    The reasons for delay is given as it takes time for compressor to come from mumbai to kalyan.
                                    How much time does it take 4-5 days.? And even if it takes time who;s responsibility is it to inform me?

                                    Am i supposed to take followup from you guys every time.

                                    This is very poor service i have seen from godrej

                                      Dear sir - this is to inform you that i have bought godrej refrigrator on 1/04/2015 but after 2.5 years its cooling capacity getting slow and slow. I complaint it to your customer care. They gave my no. To service engineer incharge. He is saying that the gas is getting empty and you will have to refill it.
                                      How can it be happen in such a short time. Iam having another fridge of about 12 year ago and still working well. So kindly get corrected the matter

                                      consumer customer care called me and said to deposite Rs10 in rbi as fee but could not be deposited due to net problem. So kindly send the related engineer to check the problem

                                      Dear Sir Kindly Notice my problem sincerly as nobody is taking interest to solve the problem. My complaint is also closed now saying that door was closed when technician reached at home. But this is absolutely wrong nobody has come to vsit yet .They are just doing formalties. Is this the way to solve the problems that without visiting they have closed the complaint. Kindly tell me what should I do ? Will this problem be solved or not?

                                        I am from bangalore. I had given a complaint regarding non working of themachine and also the water draining out on16th october after a lot of repeated requests the technician came on17th afternoon and looked at the complaint. He said some wires have been cut and then he bound with a cello tape and said that i dont have spare part if pcb board has gone. I then told him that i had specifically mentioned the nature of complaint to the person whotook the complaint. Then he told within 5 minutes that the machine is working. Immediately within two minutes he took the signature i told him if there is repeated complaint or not working i shall call him. Immediately the machine stopped working i called him within two minutes and he said he is attending to another complaint and said that the panel might have gone i dont have spare part i shall see. Till now no response.
                                        This is not the first time this sort of attitude is shown to customers every time they take atleast two to three days to set right. Except one or two technicians who knows their job others are not that experienced.
                                        Wedo not understand as to why there should be a delay of two days to resole this complaint
                                        Secondly we are under amc by paying the amount and we expect a good service and response to be given
                                        Today i have given another complaint since ihave received a messagea saying that the complaint hasbeen closed.
                                        I amtrying to contact [protected] which has been given in message asking to give complaint within seven days if the problem is not solved

                                        This number gets immediately cut off

                                        I want an immediate responseto resolve this complaint andalso send some experienced technician who will come with the necessary spare parts basedon our complaint
