Bought Godrej eon full automatic washing machine in the month of November 2016 and the performance is terrible.It makes lot of noise while spinning and when we called technician, he said the noise is normal.I have a medical issue and this loud washing machine noise is further detiorating my health.We have used various brand washing machine earlier but never experienced such a loud noise.Since it's a trusted Indian brand, we went with this product.Kindly look into this complaint and provide a appropriate solution to it.I would like to have product replacement.

    Hi Team,

    This compliant is in regards to the fully automatic washing machine which was purchased from Godrej in the Month of March'16. This is the Sixth time I am complaining about the machine with the same concern, from the time of purchase its acting weird. Whenever it starts the drier it makes loud noise and the whole machine vibrates...There are totally Five complaints registered from the time of purchase (complaint numbers are mentioned below for reference)...The first technician who came to check the compliant adjusted the bottom sheet saying that it was not done properly while installation. Second technician just opened the cap and checked with the drum inside and said that there is no fault identified...Third tech adjusted lid sensor and said the issue is fixed but it not...Fourth technician opened the drum inside and replaced some strings inside after which it worked fine for few weeks... Fifth Technician didn't even touched the machine and heard about the compliant and asked us to change the placement of the machine. On my fifth compliant I spoke to Godrej service customer care team supervisor and asked to raise a request for replacement of the machine and not to send a technician for servicing for which he said "Yes" and gave me the compliant number (Note: I have the complete call recording of the conversation with supervisor as an evidence that he promised for replacement). This is the first time I am purchasing Godrej products and this would be my last time too. Waste of time, money and completely dissatisfied with the service and product...I am totally fed up with this machine and I immediately want a replacement or else I won't hesitate to file a complaint in consumer court. What if I am running out of my warranty? Should I need to pay every month for servicing after my warranty??? And what type of warranty is it, 5 complaints in 9 Months. Kindly do the needful.

    I got a technician from Godrej servicing center on 31st Dec'16 and the same story was repeated. He suggested us pause the machine soon the sound comes and take out the clothes with highest weight out of machine (Ex: Jeans, towels, bed sheets..). If it is so what is the use of the machine? Is that the solution/workaround they just provided me? Is this the complete support that I could receive? This means that I have to stop all my work stand next to my washing machine, keep listening to the noise all the time. Other company machines in laundry shops are working better than this. I don’t think they segregate the clothes according to the weight. Totally its complete waste of money. Product not worthless!!!

      I purchased my full automatic front loading washing machine 23/01/2016 from great eastern appliances ltd. Kolkata
      I have lodged my complain when my appliance failed on december month. My complain was on 3/12/16 call no.K[protected] Technician came on 6th and said there is a motor failure and needs to be changed. He will make the replacement of motor within 3days.But to no avail and no communication after that.
      I again made the complain on 20/12/16 with complain no.K[protected] . There is a visit of technician on 23/12/16. He again said the same thing and assured that the parts would arrive in from HO within 3-4 days and would be resolved.
      Till date there is no feedback and I am still suffering without any resolution.Every time I call up the technicians they are giving strange excuses and mentioned that when it would be resolved they cannot give me any time and it can take indefinite time and could be even month.
      Is this the consumer expect or should expect when they purchase their products?
      godrej claim to resovle any service complain within 24-48 hrs.But in my case for more than 24 days I get no resolu

        At the outset I must introduce myself to you. I am Shivani and I buyied a godrej single door refrigerator(Godrej edge 179 lt) on 7th august 2016.
        I have 5 issues in my fridge that need to be resolved.(i) Defrosted water leaks into the fridge and does not flows into the back water trey, (ii) Uneven freezing in the freezer, (iii) Fridge lock not working, (iv) leg of the fridge is not staright and needs replacement, (v) a sensor hanging below the freezer in chiller trey is obstructing smooth movement of the chiller trey.
        At first i made a complaint about all this in the first week of december. The technician without talking or informing me came to my place and called me. He should have informed me about his coming a day earlier. Nevertheless, i requested him to wait 15minutes for me there but he refused and said he has to attend another query at RK Puram and told me to cal him in evening to fix a time. I called him and he said he will come around 6pm evening. Then i told him that it is no official time to address my complaint and i asked him to come the next day in official meeting hours. Days past by and that man repeatedly kept on breaking said promises and my grievances remained unattended. Then i again filed a complaint on 26th december and a technician came on 28th dec. The man had meagre knowledge of fridge repairing. He was trying all kinds of jugaads to solve my problems which offcourse didnt work and could not resolve any of my problems. Then he told me that another technician would come the next day to resolve issues.

        I am a phd scholar and i took a half day to get my fridge repaired but that turned into a full day leave and now i have to take another day off to get my fridge repaired without knowing if it will be even done this time or not.
        I cannot take a months leave to get the above 5 issues with my fridge resolved.

        I trusted this brand called Godrej and some people are trying to tarnish its image. Please help me consolidate my faith in your brand once again.

        Kindly, please help me and do the needful in this regard asap.

          I am facing problem in my refrigerator from last 3 or 4 month. many time I lodged the complain every complain ur technician visited the site & doing something first time he changed the fan, second time he changed the bimetallic, third time he changed overload relay, fourth time he changed timer & charged money .Regarding my problem I also talked to Mr Pall & Mr P Gupta they also send the technician but problem yet to solve
          on dated 17/12/2016 I lodged a fresh complain regarding the same problem because without feedback from the customer my all previous complain was closed in your system. . all your technician are working on principle of trail & error method they don't have knowledge of system.

            Dear,
            I had purchased a Godrej Washing Machine WT 620CFS on 17 Jan 2016 with billed name Mr. Rahul my brother.

            On 12 Dec 2016 I had ‎registered a complaint on your toll free number With service number D[protected].

            But on 12 and 13 Dec nobody visits my place to resolve this. Then on 14 Dec some technician came and gone without solving the issue. And again on 15 Dec some other person come and gone without solving the issue. And both the technician are saying that ‎there is no such issue with the machine that i am reporting.

            And at last on yesterday morning 16 Dec I got the information from your side regarding the service call is completed ( ‎* Godrej SMS * Your Service Call D[protected] is completed THANK YOU for ur payment of Rs.NIL to our auth.).And when I again call to your customer care on yesterday evening, even then they don't help me in proper manner for this issue.

            My problem with this machine are :-
            ‎1. Water leakage while washing the cloths.
            2. Inner tub is not rotating.
            3. ‎Not drying the cloths.
            4. ‎Not cleaning the cloths properly.
            ‎5. Bad services from your side.

            It's a kind request to resolve my issue on priority. As It's already more then 5 days over I had raised this issue. And in I am not able to wash my cloths from last 5 days. And give proper information till when you can resolve this issue & till that time provide me some other machine.

              Plz Help Me On This.

              I Have Bought New Godrej Ac Last Year . Just After An Year Its Gas Leaked. I Gave The Ac To Service Center. The Manger Of The Sector 62 Service Center Took 2 Days To Detect The Problem And Asked Me To Changed The Whole Coil Of The Ac.
              I Told Him That Its Just An Year Old Ac With Copper Coils As Per Company, So How Is The Whole Coil Gets Damaged Just In An Year.
              They Told Me That They Cannot Do Anything And Told Me That The Change Of Whole Coil Will Cost Me 5000/- And Gas Filling Charges 2000 Extra.

              I Thing I Have Cheated By Godrej That In Just An Year The New Ac With Copper Coils Gets Rusted.

              I Complained In The Godrej Co. But No One Is Listing To Me.
              Only They Write The Complain And No One Follows Up.

              Please Help Me In This.

              I have bought the AC from Godrej as it is an Indian company & it is good to promote Indian manufacturing industry.
              But if the Indian Manufacturing Co. like Godrej start making fool of thr own country people by giving such a bad product than nobody will trust Indian companies. At least from now onward I will not buy any product from Godrej through out my life.

                  It is for your kind information that on dt.29.12.2015 I paid

                  Rs.4573/- towards fridge insurance and its expiary date is

                  29.01.2019. Few days ago your local office reaptedly telephoned

                  me to renew insurance. On last dt.14.11.2016 a man named Uday-

                  Mohanty came to my residence . I am aged 68 years and a Neuro-

                  patient for which I couldnot readily confirm the earlier payment.

                  So I gave him a SBI cheque of Rs.4802/-and the same amount is

                  debited from my A/C onlast dt.21.11.2016.

                  Hence I would request you to kindly refund the

                  later amount Rs.4802/- to me at an early date.

                    Godrej penta cool frost free model number gfe 2209197 litre purchased date 16.02.2008. The company gives warranty about the product is protected from rust for10 years. We have been complaining for lat one year. Not getting proper reply.
                    Nature of the complain is — the body of the friedge is rusted.

                      We bought a Godrej washing machine in Jaisri Electronics, Coimbatore. There is not warranty card, working manual in it, no scratch cover, not at all like a new one. So we returned the machine back to the shop and they said new machine will be sent in 7 days. After few days we received a call from Jaisri electronics to receive the new machine. Now they have given the same machine with serial number has been removed. Do we have any new machine without serial number?????? .we have taken few photograph of the returned machine so we were able to identify it. Shop owner blaming that godrej has sent the machine wrongly...

                      We lost faith in Godrej...Bill copy has been attached

                      We are not going to buy Godrej any more...

                        I brought a washing machine fully automatic on 26/08/2015, i had called several times service centre with different issues. When technician is here for servicing gives a different reason.
                        1. No pressure in water coming from overhead tank. (2 time water pressure valve changed)
                        2. Not correct positioning.
                        3. Pipe eaten by cockroaches. (Latest).

                          Dear sir,
                          We had purchased 19 ACs in the June 2015 for our showroom and after installation all the ACs started giving problem one by one. We had raised service complains many times. Few of them were attended and many of them were closed with attended. The complain started from July 2015 till September 2015 and again from it started from March 2016 means when we are using all the ACs, fault starts and after lodging complain local service center take 7-8 days minimum to attend and then 15-16 days to resolve it and many times they left it without resolved.

                          The service given by them is only to pass the warranty period so that they can charge money for the services provided after warranty period.

                          All the Acs is having problem of Controller which they replace on chargeable basis in 3 Acs and out of all the 19 Acs that particular 3 Acs are working great after that. It means that all 19 Acs was having controller related problem from the very beginning since we purchased it means they supplied us all 19 Acs defective.

                          We are running pillar to post for getting the resolution from company side but no one had entertained us, rather a short of threatening we are getting that if you will not pay service charge they will file complain on us.

                          It is therefore we request you to kindly intervene and help us in getting justice.

                            I purchsed godrej rb eon nxw 380 sd 2.4 inox fridge vide
                            Application no. 2054520 dated 27.10.2016 thru sales executive code.21823 for mrp:rs.56000/- and paid by my credit card and was delivered vide invoice no. 82i / 93201475 on 28.10.2016 along with air purifier. Old fridge was got exchanged.

                            My complaint :-
                            1) the air purifier was not installed to date and no demo was given as informed.
                            2) the mrp quoted on the product was rs. 50500/- an excess billing of rs.5, 500/-
                            Immediately i reported to your executives mr. Raajsekhar reddy - sales manager and the executive mr. Vijaykumar.
                            I sent sms with photos of the applicatioon and the price label on the product corton, as asked by them.
                            I was informed on the next day that they raised the issue and informed me that excess amount rs. 5500/- charged would be refunded shortly.
                            Regret to note that till date the issue was not resolved, despite repeated reminders.

                            Please look into the matter and your solicitation is sought without further delay.

                              This mail is regarding my washing machine godrej eon 6.5 kg fully automatic purchased on July 2016 only 4 months back in girias showroom mangalore but from past few days I noticed imbalance in the washing machine tub in spin mode and immediately called your customer care on 1/11/2016 and explained about the same and they had taken a complaint regarding the same and after 2 days next days a technician and had visited my residence when inspected he told that some liquid has leaked from the spin tub and needs to be replaced and informed that the part will be replaced in 2 days and left my premises on 3/11/2016 but today is the 4th day and till now there is no communication from your end...By this act of yours I am facing lot of problems since me and my family members are totally dependent on the machine and we are unable to wash clothes..Now I am repenting why I have purchased godrej product with such a low quality parts what you are using in it..prior to this I had a lg fully automatic washing machine I had never had a single problem for 6 years..my point is its just 4 months old and it has a problem and now I am worried...I request you to please check into my query and require a immediate solution for this..

                              This below visible mail which I had sent to godrej prior to this mail for which the concerned technician had visited my premises on 10/11/2016 and had replaced a part called the balancing ring on my machine and told that the problem was rectified and he never bothered even to check whether it was perfect or not and after the repair when I called the technician he told it was fine but the very next day when I started using my machine again it was the same problem where the machine started vibration abnormally in spin mode immediately I stopped the machine and when I peeped inside the machine near the side walls from inside I found the 4 balancing rods which was present inside the machine in which 1 rod was in a rusted state..so this clearly indicates that this machine was an old stock which was delivered to me by Girias Mangalore and I don't think any machine would get rusted in just 4 months of my purchase...So by this I clearly want a permanent solution from your end either replacement or refund or else a permanent solution failing to which I would be forced to approach consumer forum without any further intimation and any further consequences and expenses occurred in future Godrej and Girias investments pvt Ltd will be purely responsible..

                              Hello this is Binod kumar singh, i puchased a godrej semi automatic washing machine from Next showroom devli road. The model of machine is ws800 and the price i paid was 13500 from my credit card.which shows the machine has following qualities 1. 8 kg capacity
                              2. Soft close wash tub lid
                              3. Powerful 570w wash motor
                              4. Stainless steel tubs.

                              On its packing whereas the machine delivered to me was with fiber tubs and the body was crack from down. For that i went to the dealer as i wanted it to be replaced. BUT the dealer replacing it directly launched my complaint and in 2 days i got a call from the customer care of godrej an engineer came and said that it has to be replaced by the dealer you brought.
                              On 28th it was purchased but its 14th today and by doing continous follow ups im getting the macine but ill have to pay 1100 more for the same and y do i need to pay cartage for rhe same again. This is a complete harrasment and godrej is writting false thing in packing and not delivering the gd as written in packing. Its fraud. Ive been cheated and moreover the showroom peopl are complete foolish who do not even understand the problem moreover harrases the cstomers. Laxk of coordination. Please tell me what should i do? both godrej nd next has wasted my diwali festival ive been mentally harrased and wasted my 17 days. I want an strict action to be taken..

                              Ive attached the pictures herewith of the machine pls take suitable action.

                                I had purchased a washing machine top load automatic in september 2013 (model name wteon 650pf) no, [protected] with an extended warranty till sep 2017.
                                Within few weeks its board shows complaint and it was replaced. then frequently arise complaints in different way. and everytime when i booked the complaint the technician came and show something done but again another fault will arise.. once its motor assembly changed. one or two times its main circuit board changed.. many times the technician reported some other parts changed. at last i complained on october 9th but no response from the service center. many times i i report it to the customer care number and also try to get the local service centre. after repeated reminders at last on october 14th the people from service centre came and take the machine to their service centre. but till the date they didnt repaired it and bring back. all these days i give our cloths to outside for washing. the response from the service people is very irresponsible.
                                In this circumstances i request you to replace the machine with anew one immediately and pay and amount of rs. 3, 000 as compensation for washing the cloths in these days with out side shop.

                                  Model purchased: Godrej Edge Digi 192 L Refrigerator - Cocoa-Spring,

                                  Purchase cost: 18100 INR

                                  The first thing I would like to bring to your notice is that, as per company offering, this appliance is supposed to provide a "frost free" mode which never works! So, in effect end user has to manually remove any ice formation in deep freezer.
                                  Is not this creating a gap in customer trust!!

                                  Now, let me elaborate the service issue which I faced today :

                                  We detected serious gas smell yesterday, 27.10; when contacted customer service(kolkata) they came for inspection, reported a leakage from internal ice chamber which he suspected to be caused while removing of ice manually (surprised?)
                                  He suggested to purchase AMC worth INR 4200/- which I did immediately on 27.10, but when contacted the technician we came to know that the actual servicing can only happen on the next date - 28.10.
                                  Accordingly, the technician visited for service this morning and replaced the internal ice chamber, refilled the gas and left immediately.
                                  However, the smell of gas remains and now it seems seeping out from external pipe/welding which might not be done properly. When we contacted back the technician he just didn't care to listen and told me to contact customer service help line again.

                                  In effect, the original problem remains so I cannot run the appliance now because of the smell, but still I ended up paying 4200 for the service.

                                  I feel like cheated and also insulted by the rude behaviour of your technician (Abhijit Bal, Subir) .

                                  Is this way of a reputed brand, like Godrej, to treat their customer ! or, being an Indian, I did a mistake in choosing this Indian brand.

                                  Whatever be the case, I would definitely like to learn from it and warn my colleagues and friends so that they are careful while making their next purchase.

                                  PS: that there was no cooling problem and the machine was in full working condition earlier as evident from the report sheet filed yesterday, however today the technician is forcing me to lie that " there was a cooling problem earlier which is solved by their service and so there is no more problem " . But the fact of the matter is there is still the foul gas smell which is coming when the machine is turned on & the smell is not there when its turned off. We cannot use the appliance as the smell is intolerable, neither the technician is willing to resolve it.

                                  Should I just have to throw the appliance and buy a new one??

                                  This is a terrible experience !!! Hats off Godrej!!
