Dear Mr. Rohit,
You rightly said - Defective machine. Let me extend this to defective company, it's products, it's services and it's processes.
Whole of your system is defective.
When your representative came to do AMC, he had visited my home to verify if machine was working. I got it repaired from local market.
He had clearly informed me next steps that some of our representatives will come again in next few days and after verification only, your money would be deducted. And it got deducted on 17th May.
Anyway, you only looked at complaint of 29Apr. I had complained for this machine 15-20 times in 2year warranty and had been asking for replacement. Because it was a o cost to Godrej, no one did that and service center every time kept saying - we have made it OK and nothing will happen in future. That future lasted not more than average of 2months.
That's how I described this company"Godrej" as defective, "Smart care" service as defective and "AMC process" as defective, where one day come, sees product working and makes contract, service center asks for money not honoring AMC. And finally SERVICE Center head declares contract "wrong" because fault lies with Sales team.
You reminded me concept of LIC, where company always think that guy should keep paying premium and nothing should happen to the guy. In case, something happen in very early stage, try to look for some clause so that amount does not reach the guy.
Although, I thought of going service center way using AMC, but as I got it repaired locally last time, I'll manage it from local market now onwards.
REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR CONCERN AND ACTION.

Anyway, all said and done, please refund my money. I know I am wasting my and your time.

As per details it is out of warranty washing machine having functional defect. The machine was first inspected on 29th April’16 and an estimate of repair was given to you which did not get approved. Contract of this defective machine was taken in May (first week) from our canvasser of direct channel.
As per company norms this contract is not valid and we have already instructed Direct sales team to get process refund of the contract amount.
