Hi Team,

We have ordered new Fridge with Godrej online. After 4 Days they mentioned that the chosen colour is not available with them and proposed alternate colours. We received the pics after two days to chose the options. We finally chose the one and since then we had been chasing Godrej to deliver the product. Two days back we were told that Product is dispatched and till today we havent received the AWB details. I think that mail was just to fool us around and keep us away from following up and buy some more time.

I am very much dissatisfied with the kind of customer handling by Godrej and would like to get my complaint addressed and Money refunded with penalty

    I have purchased a gidrej eon 651 pfh 6.5 fully automatic washing machine, before the purchase the sales person have elaborated its specification, and assured us that they would instal and give a demo of the product, but atfer the product is delivered to me, i have no idea how to opperate the machine manual book isnt helping, nor there are any vedios on the internet regarding the tutorial, so i have been trying to call the sales person but he never picks up my call, nor any one from the shop answers my call, i even tried calling comapany executive but all i hear is they are busy... If this the customer care i am getting from the company authorised agencies, then i have made a blunder purchaseing godrej product. The machine may be good but the authorised person should atleast give a liltle demo on the product to ensure that the customer has no problem in operateing it.

    If this problem is not solved, i would definetly never advice anyone to buy godrej products, and this aint the first time i am faceing problem with the service.

      With the above complain no. I got a call from [protected] mob, saying that technician will be send tomorrow to attain the complain, and to pay rs.345/ as visiting charge even if the problem is not resolved. I then asked her to cancel the complain, as i was ready to pay the same if the problem was solved. I told her at the beginning that my freeze was old make fridge and no details known to me. She again called me and said okay am cancelling your docket as i have found no spares available for the same, and was confident without knowing the details of the fridge.

        Hi,

        I purchased eon ac a year and half back ago, i serviced it correctly as they offered free services. one week back the ac stop working (cooling) suddenly and i called the service guys. i was surprised to hear that it needed condenser replacement and there is gas leak and it will cost me around 7-10k. all happened in a year and that too with a 5 start ac. i was also really disappointed to hear that many of my friends hadn't this issue with other brands. as i only switch on ac at night and that too for 3-4 hours and also in hot times. air conditioners is an long term investment and one put a reasonable money of money and expect a well working product, not like a throw away stuff. i now planning to replace the ac with another brand as i felt cheated!. if you plan to go for this product, please beware this scam!

          I had bought hosted digi edge fridge on 20/7/15. Since then i'm having heavy ice formation in freezer so much that i can't keep anything in it. I hv lodged complaints 6 times in this one year and ask for replacement since it wasn't rectified. They changed pcp also. My last complaint was on 18/7/16 regarding same. My one problem is not solved and they are telling again day they will replace board. Talked to manager also in mangalore. I'm harassed by their behaviour. I'm going to consumer court now, but before that i thought will ask for a solution here. Hope i get a positive reply. Feel free to call me at [protected].

            On 2015 november, we bought a godrej fridge (Edge pro). At the time of selling the executive told us that we need to defrost the fridge weekly and the water outlet to be manually disposed off. We were ok with the same.In the month of april 2016, the ice freezer door broke out as the ice from the freezer was coming out in the door panel area. We registered a complaint, when the executive had visited for repair, he asked to defrost in every three days and to switch off the fridge in the evening from 6 to 8 as there might be heavy electric load and changed the freezer door at the cost of rs 500. Again in the month of july the freezer door broke the same way as it was broken earlier. Even this time the ice is getting freezed outside the freezer.

            This is a manufacturing defect and not the customers usage defect.

            When contacted the customer care, they are repeatedly saying sorry for the inconvenience and kindly contact the technician. When contacted the technician, he is arguing that it will be charged. He also added that no one using this product has complained about the freezer door.In such a case we have been given a defective piece. Request godrej technician to visit the place and have a look whether the ice being getting out from the freezer and getting jammed in the door panel or not. Why in every two months we should pay rs 500 unnecessary.

            We need a resolution to this complaint.

            The complaint is with the fridge and not the plastic door. We are being charged for the manufacturing problem.

              It took 7 days for the service centre (Smart Tech, Kochi) to fix the problem of our washing machine that also several phone calls to the company's toll free number and the service centre.

              Now I feel that the service centre has overcharged me. When the technician has given the bill, he has written the spare part (which he has replaced in the w/machine) as "spin motor" and charged Rs. 2018/-. When I asked for the product code he cancelled "spin" and written "wash motor" in the invoice. Further the product code/product name/price portion of the packet has been removed and as such I cannot verify whether they have replaced spin motor or wash motor and they have charged me correctly. Further, I had a bad experience with another service centre earlier where they did charge me more and I have got the refund after complaining to the company.

                I have a godrej refrigerator and facing some problems for last few days.
                Several complaints have been lodged but the services provided by the technicians have not been satisfactory.
                The first complaint was lodged on 2 july 2016.

                Complaint details :

                Several attempts have been made by me to contact the concerned authorities but unfortunately the response received was non-satisfactory.
                The problem is that there is excess of ice in the ice box and leakage in the refrigerator.
                On 15 july 2016, a person jonny pal came and replaced two parts
                I. E, defrost biometer (Costing ₹270)
                Defrost time changer (Costing ₹650)
                But even after replacing these parts the issue is not solved. Moreover, now there is no cooling and the defrost time changer which the guy claimed to be new is not new. I have also attached the photograph of the part for your satisfaction.

                So i request you to look into this matter and solve my problem on priority basis.

                  I own a godrej eon, double door frost free refrigerator. it was giving trouble last week. as soon as it was switched on, the entire power in the room was fluctuating and the refrigerator was giving a shock. i had placed a service request with handyhome and the representative turned up and suggested replacement of compressor and the timer. i had asked them to replace it, which was promptly done within 48 hours. however, the problem i had complained about has not been resolved and even after replacing these two parts by paying an amount of inr 4, 950, the situation remains the same.

                    I purchased godrej refrigerator in 2011, which compressor had complaint and supported by service men for 2 times and still i had the same issue. for 1st time, they rectified the compressor and charged me for gas fill. for the 2nd time when i had the same issue, they rectified and told that the gas to be filled and said some components needs to be replaced. even after replace, refrigerator was not working and the service is really bad. need proper and immediate assistance else i will proceed legally and will put this issue in consumer court.

                      I am deepali mahajan has purchased a washing machine gwf 650fc model, machine delivery was on thursday 7th july 2016.Installation was expected on same day or next day, but no one came. I raised a query on 8th july id-p[protected]. Customer service informed me that engineer will visit in 2 hrs, but no one came.. Similarly on saturday and sunday and monday... Still no one is coming for installation. I called customer service at 7.30 pm on monday (11th july), they informed me that engineer will visit by 8 pm but no one came or called. I fed up... As godrej is a prestigious brand but provides very bad service... Plz help

                        I had purchased a Godrej Steel cupboard in October 2015 from Godrej Interio Showroom in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Later we found that the lock of the safety vault is damaged and not working. Since then, over the last 3 months, we have lodged several complaints with Godrej Interio on their helpline [protected] to replace the defective lock but till date, the complaint remains unresolved. No Godrej mechanic ever visited our home inspite of repeated assurances every time. Also, calls to Godrej Interio Mumbai on [protected] are disconnected by the person receiving the call.

                        We request that the complaint may be taken up with Godrej may be taken up to replace the defective lock. The product is still under warranty period.

                          I had got my Godrej AC AMC renew for 5 years. but I have not even a single proper service. last time I called them up for my AC service and they took more than 20 days to do service after so many follow up.

                          just after a 2 months of service, AC again stopped working and I registered complaint. its been over 2 days I have given complaint. the engineer came after 2 days of registering complaint, and he checked AC for 2 minutes and said I will fix it after 2 days.

                          Why can they give onspot AC. when I called up the service centre, they said it happens like this only and it is going to take time.

                              The registered mobile number with Godrej is [protected] and the complaint number is Z[protected] and had received a message that the door was locked. Its what company is fooling around as I am running my office on the ground floor of my residence so there is no question of door locked . Secondly my mother had a fracture and she is at home only and cant leave the house. Thus the intention of the company is quite clear. Its a fake way of not attending the complaint. I had personally called at local office in bareilly mobile number [protected] and asked them to visit regarding the above complaint on 29/06/2016 but till date it is unattended

                                I have purchased godrej edge pro refrigerator in the last week of may-16, within a week, cracks start come in the internal parts of refrigerator such as partition tray, vegetables holding box, I have complained for this to a shop from I purchased the refrigerator. After 2-3 weeks two people come and check the said complain, but no action had been taking till now

                                  I bought a refrigirator 9 months back which has 10 years warranty for its compressor and door. all of sudden it stopped working and i called customer care. technician has come and told some compressor problem and we will replace. after 23 days still no body came. in these days i called customer care every day. every day they says that they will send technician and repair it. still iam crying...

                                  I have purchased recently a new refrigerator and its totally faluty there is a door problem which is big problem so I can not satisfied ur service and product I want to replace my fridge otherwise I complaint in consumer foram against your company.there is also chiller trey is break and door is very hard to open. Its totally faulty.

                                    Hi Team,

                                    This is to inform you that I bought a Godrej refirgerator (Model- Godrej Ref RTEON 290 P 3.4 Denim Petals) around 2 months back on dated 12-Apr-2016 from Vijay Sales, Indirapuram, UP-201014.
                                    Refrigerator has stopped cooling 3 days back. Immediately we called a customer care number and filed a complaint against this.
                                    2 days back, Rahul Singh (a godrej representative) came to our house. After investigations, he informed us that thermal fuse is not working and he will come tomorrow to fix this issue.
                                    Then yesterday some Rajeev Kumar came to our house and he did again some investigations. He told us that PCB assembly is not working that has happened due to voltage fluctuation and he will fix it today. I seriously couldn't understand the fact that our refrigerator is stabilzer free and on top of that we have installed one more godrej stabilizer that was advised only by a godrej representative Rajeev Kumar at the time if refrigerator installation.

                                    Concerns :
                                    1. one representative is saying something else and second representative is saying something else. Who to believe ?
                                    Why Godrej like reputed company keeps such incompetent technicians ?

                                    2. It has been only couple of months buying this refrigerator a nd such a big fault has been incurred. Is this refrigerator model manufactured faulty from company itself?

                                    3. I don't want to keep this fridge. How to replace this.

                                    Request you to please take an immediate action as we are suffering from last 3 days.

                                      Bought this single door refrigerator on 24-Mar-2015 from Sargam Electronics, Ghaziabad with 2 years extended warranty. Even after using 'Frost Free Mode' (supposedly USP of this model), after every 2-3 months, the freezer gets filled with ice which does not melt by any button on the refrigerator. Only way to defrost is switching off the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
                                      Registered complaint 3-4 times about this (latest complaint number mentioned above) in last 1 year. Every time the technician comes and says this model is like this only. They have changed some IC/PLC twice but the problem is still there.
                                      Above service call was registered on 27-May-16 requesting visit on 28th which was confirmed by sms. The technician called on 29th saying he will visit on 04th June (after I said I will not be available this week) and requested not to register another complaint. On 3rd June I received sms saying call has been closed as I refused to pay. Crazy !
                                      My only concern right now (leave aside your frost free mode not working and your poor post sale service) is someone tell me how to defrost the refrigerator without swithichg it off !!

                                      Godrej edge digi refrigerator defrost system not working.
                                      The freezer gets filled with ice which does not melt by any button on the refrigerator. Only way to defrost is switching off the refrigerator for 10-12 hours.
                                      I am also facing the same issue. Even after pressing the Defrost button, it never breaks the ice until I turn off the whole power socket.
                                      I also facing the same problem. All the things kept in the refrigerator got friged. Defrost mode is not working.
                                      I am facing same issue since last 6 months. All the items get freezed. They have changed the board once but to no use. Problem persists. Godrej please do some thing about this.

                                        Hello Sir/Madam,

                                        On 03rd May 2016 the chotukool portable refrigerator I had bought online, stopped working. The fans were working but nothing inside was getting cooled. On 04th May 2016 I called up your 27x7 service helpline number provided in the "User manual and Warranty card". The number I called was[protected]. The agent at the other end told me that there is a different number for chotukool and asked me to call[protected]. No one picked it up the first time I called the number. In the second attempt, I was successful. I explained the issue to him, and he said he would raise a ticket and the agent would contact me. He also said that I would get an sms once the ticket was raised. I did get the sms, after more than 1 hour. Afer which nothing happened. No calls, no sms, nothing!!
                                        I told about this to one of my friends working in godrej, who forwarded the ticket to the service manager on Friday 10th May 2016.
                                        Today morning I get a call from Hubli saying that my ticket had gone to their service centre by mistake and the Bangalore service centre will take care of it today. He also asked me to contact the service manager and gave me his number.
                                        At 10.30 am today (11th May 2016) morning, I got a call from a lady saying she was from the service centre and a technician would come over to fix the defect. When I asked her when he would coming over, she was not sure, may be after 12. (I have to spend the whole day waiting for your technician!!)
                                        When I asked the lady why it took them 1 week to respond, she was offended and angrily responded that it was not their fault and the other service centre messed it up.

                                        Here is what I think of godrej's service.
                                        1. You give the wrong service contact number in your User manual.
                                        2. The trouble ticketing system is slow that it takes more than an hour to log a ticket.
                                        3. No one bothers if ticket raised has been actioned or not, until someone within godrej reports it to the concerned department.
                                        4. The service agents don't own up the responsibility of the delay. They sound as though it was my fault when I filed the complaint.
                                        5. In a world where the turnaround time is less than 1 hour for a trouble ticket, godrej is still using postal mail service to send service tickets to service centres.

                                        One thing is for sure. I am not buying another godrej product. With this kind of PATHETIC service, I would not recommend godrej to anyone I know.

                                        I am planning to put this story on social media, just that I am waiting to see what the service guy has to tell.

                                        Thank you for a PATHETIC and SUPER SLOW service. Indian companies will learn or change!!!
