I have purchased a godrej washing machine and thereby putting amc. i made a complaint for service on 02.09.2016 till then no servicemen turned up. but telling a lie stating that they have visited my home but till today 24.9.2016 the godrej washing machine not repaired. while calling they simply say that it will be attended. the question is when? god only knows.

I am into AMC with Godrej for my semi automatic washing machine from 03/06/2016. I got an issue with the water Drain. I raised a complaint on 14/09/2016, Person has attended the call on 17th and till now the issue is not resolved. It's been 16 days now.
Please suggest me how to take legal action against this.

    Dear Sir/Ma'am,

    On 27th March 2016, we purchased an Air Conditioner from the Godrej's Authorized Vendor (Surendranagar, Gujarat) and with this the company offers 2 FREE services. In context to this, we approached customer care-[protected] (from Mobile number +[protected] and registered a request on 12th September 2016. As a token of receipt, we received an SMS (Call NO: A[protected]) that the service engineer would be at the door on the very next day-13th September 2016. After waiting for almost a week, again on 18th of September 2016 (around 9:30 pm) we complaint to customer care service at Ahmedabad, the fellow replied that the respective person would take on this request on Monday 18th September, till the date NO RESPONSE has been received from your Company.

    What should we understand from your LETHARGIC and CARELESS APPROACH towards the customers? The Proofs of the SMS are attached herewith.

    Justify the complaint as we question on your reputation.

      Dear Sir/Mam,

      I am writing this email being harassed by the Representatives of Godrej, who does not have manners to talk to its customers and on the other hand threatens them of dire consequences if they wish to complain against them.

      I am owner of a Godrej AC. Till 9th September 2016, when I left for my hometown, everything was fine with it, however when i returned on 13 September, it was not doing any cooling. Being aggrieved, I, on 15.09.2016, made a complaint with Godrej Care and requested them to look in to the problem of my AC. I was promised that the technician of Godrej will visit our home on next day. However for the whole next day, nobody came and we kept on waiting for the technician.

      On 17.09.2016, a technician named Shivansh came and after checking AC, informed that there is no gas in the AC and it needs to be refilled. when i asked him to get it filled at my home only, he informed that it is not possible as it is Godrej's policy that the whole AC will be taken to Service Centre and then it will be refilled. I raised doubt over that however he bluntly refused to fill gas in AC at my home and said that some other technician will come to take AC and demanded Service Charge of Rs. 500/- from me. I showed my anger over his demand as he had not done anything although I gave him money and asked for receipt but he did not give any and told me that the receipt will be provided to me from the person who will come to take AC on 18.09.2016. Shivansh also informed me that the charge for refilling gas in my AC would be Rs. 2700/-.

      I complaint about his this behaviour to the Godrej Customer Care on 19.09.2016, however no action was taken and no body came to take AC on 19.09.2016.

      On 19.09.2016, Monday, some persons from Godrej came to take AC and specifically wrote on the receipt that Gas is leaking however these persons also did not give me any receipt of the money given to Shivansh. On the other hand they demanded Rs. 500/- again from me on the pretext that they need to pay it to tempo for carrying my AC to the Work Shop, which i initially refused to give, however when they refused to take my AC to workshop until I pay them money, i was forced to pay them Rs. 500/-. At the time of handing over my AC, it was clearly understood between me and the person taking the AC that the AC will be returned after refilling the Gas on 19.09.2016.

      Thereafter on 20.09.2016, i got a call from some Yogendra Sharma, who introduced himself as Supervisor of Godrej Authorised Service Station and informed me that the coil of my AC has been burnt and it needs to be replaced also and demanded Rs. 6000/- for the said repair. when i told him that the AC was alright, except the Gas Leakage (as informed by Shivansh), he said that this problem he has come to know after checking the AC and he will not repair it until the advance is paid to him. for which he gave me an address for paying the money.

      Upon it, i gave him number of my husband Prashant Shukla, so that my husband can pay him money for repairs while returning from his office.

      Thereafter Yogendra Sharma, called my husband and when my husband told him that the money will be paid after the AC is installed, Mr Yogendra Sharma, abused him and said that the AC will not be given until advance of Rs. 6000/- is paid, to which my husband refused. My husband also asked him to show any rule of Godrej Company which states about advance money, he said that this rule is made by him as there are many 'kangle' customers like us which do not pay money after getting there appliances repaired. it is also pertinent to mention here that when my husband told him that he will file a complaint against him, Mr Yogendra Sharma, hurled abuses to him and threatened him of dire consequences if he files any complaint.

      We are writing this complaint, being highly aggrieved by the conduct of the representatives of the great and esteemed Godrej Company, which boasts itself of best quality services.

      We both (Anushree and Prashant) have a few questions from Godrej, hope we will get satisfactory replies for these:
      1. Whether it is the policy of Godrej to receive money without receipt?
      2. Whether it is the policy of Godrej to harass and humiliate it's customers?
      3. Whether it is the policy of Godrej to receive advance money for the services, which are not yet provided?
      4. Whether it is not the policy of Godrej to take actions against it's representatives?
      5.

      we both are writing this mail jointly as it was a matter of grave concern and we are seriously thinking of taking a stern legal action against the Godrej, which includes civil and criminal actions.

        We have lots of godrej appliances .we have AMC of every product .our refrigerator is not working properly our .we had complain on 02/09/2016 .Call no is D[protected]. 12.27 pm .arun kumar delhi united home receved our call .
        After every 2 or 3 days we have complain regularly but after 18 days their is no response .there is no solution of our problem. There is no use of AMC .Total waste to buy godrej products u can solve our problem or not .otherwise i will take a legal action against ur company. Thanks ATHAR NAWAB [protected]

          Refrigerator is not working since 10 days
          not cooling, touch is not working.
          I registered a complaint 7 days back but no one is responding
          this refrigerator has one year manufacture warranty for all components and 5 years of compressor warranty.

          Godrej giving me a worst service.
          I am calling regularly for my money which have spent for use less product.

            Dear Sir/Madam

            Ref: AMC contract No.[protected] Contract period:08/02/2016 to 07/02/2018 for Fully Automatic Washing machine(Model GWF 650FDH 6.5 Kg)

            I, Renu Bhartiya w/o Mr. Hari Prakash Bhartiya have been compelled to write this complaint and would request you to spare a few minutes of your valuable time for this and resolve the matter immediately.( I have used the sentence “your valuable time because our Time has no value for the people at the Godrej service centre”). I will narrate the incidence date wise which will not only make you understand the seriousness of the problem I am facing but also the incompetence of your Technicians.

            Date:01/08/2016
            My machine stopped working. The inflow of water into the machine had stopped. The same day I registered a complaint on the Godrej toll free number: 1-[protected]. Someone from RITA REFRIGERATION WORKS, Kolkata-700059 arrived on the same day. He moved the intake pipe from the cold intake valve to the hot intake valve. The water started flowing in momentarily but the very next attempt to start the machine resulted in the same problem.

            I registered another complaint. A different person arrived on the 2nd of Aug’16. He said that the PCB and ON/OFF switch should be replaced which will solve the problem and left. The same person arrived after two / three days and replaced the PCB and ON/OFF switch but the machine didn’t start working. Then he replaced one of the intake valves with a new one. The flow of water started but the machine was not working. He could not be sure about the reason of the problem and said that some other technician will arrive and look into the problem.But I did not receive any response from Rita Refrigeration Works after this and had to call on the Godrej toll free number again to register a complaint.

            I was not in the city from the 8th Aug’16 to the 13thAug’16. Either on 9th or 10th Aug ’16 a technician arrived and started a new story and told my son that the Drum of the washing machine has to be replaced for which I will have to pay and that will solve the problem. It is absurd that the previous technician replaced the PCB/On Off switch and now this guy wanted the Drum to be replaced. Since I wasn’t there in the city, my son told him that the decision in the matter of chargeable drum replacement will be taken once I come back to Kolkata. The guy even told my son that the machine was working temporarily so he insisted on closing the complaint to which my son agreed.

            When I came back home, I tried to start the machine but it was not functioning. Additionally, the technician did not even fit the upper portion of the machine properly.
            I registered another complaint on 14th Aug ’16 and another technician arrived who did something and said that the machine is functioning temporarily but there are some parts which still need to be changed. On asking which parts need to be replaced he said that he will send the same person who arrived initially. He said that the PCB needs to be changed again and the Sensor has to be replaced as well. The next day when I tried to start the machine, it was not functioning so I called to inform them of the problem. There was no further communication from their side.

            I received a text message which read – “We are closing your Godrej appliance complaint no. K[protected] as you have said that there is no problem.” The problem was not even close to being solved and I never stated that there is no problem so it was difficult for me to comprehend this message. I didn’t have any option but to register another complaint the next day. I was told to contact some guy named Mr. Peter. Someone from Rita Refrigeration Works, Kolkata called and asked me why I had registered another complaint and apparently they were working on getting my problem solved. I even called Mr.Peter but he was not interested in listening to my problem either. I received another call from the service centre and they said that I would have to wait for another 15 days for the parts that are to be replaced. I was even told that a technician had earlier told me that this part had to be replaced but I would have to pay Rs. 288.00 for it and that I had refused. This was a lie. I have no idea why this technician would stoop to this level in order to conceal his incompetency. In spite of this, I gave them the time that they asked for.

            After waiting for 10-12 days, I called the service centre again to ask them if there was any progress. The lady at the service centre said that my problem would be solved in 3 to 4 days. I received a call on the same day and was informed that a technician would come and solve the problem. The technician did arrive the next day and changed the sensor. Even after this the machine was not working. According to this technician, the part for which I had to wait for 15 days was fine and did not have to be changed. He tried everything and said that he would come back in a couple of days with the PCB and replace it, which might get the machine working. He returned in a couple of days and tried to get the machine working after replacing the PCB. He tried his best for a long time and I appreciate that but to no avail. He said he would be back in a couple of days with a PIPE and check if changing the pipe gets the machine to work.

            Date: 05/09/2018
            He did not come and so I called the service centre to inquire about the issue. They said that he has not provided any report and gave me the number of the technician. The technician said that he had given the report that the problem was not solved. I called up the service centre again and told them what the technician said. Then the lady at the service centre told me that the Drum has to be replaced and asked for 15 more days. Citing rain as a problem, she asked me to call later or the next day. I had no idea that rain could prevent people from talking on the phone. It has been 35 days since the machine stopped working and the problem still has not been resolved.

            Still waiting to get the machine repaired. But no response.

            Please find the attachments with the screenshot of some of the messages(the ones that i could find) that i received from Godrej. These have the complaint numbers and other details.

            I had undergone a surgery recently and the amount of physical and mental harassment that I am going through during these days is unbearable. I request you to take immediate measures to solve the problem within 15th Sep 2016. Either you make the machine perfect or replace it and compensate for the harassment I have faced for more than one month.
            Once again I request you to take the matter seriously and do the needful.

            I've purchased the above mentioned AC, however till date it has not been installed as the people who delivered it took back the chopper coil..

              I had placed an order for refrigerator model RTEON 290 P4.3 in Denimpetals colour(product code 2M3G) in exchange of my old refrigerator on 02/07/16 vide application number 2010148. Before delivery the warehousing incharge informed me that instead instead of denimpetals the available colour is Silver metallic and whether that acceptable. on my raising the query about difference in cost, I was assured that excess amount would be refunded.
              I was supplied the refrigerator Item cod 2N3FMS model TR EON 290 P 3.4 Colour Silver Metallic on 06/07/16. When I enquired about the refund of the difference in cost of the two models, I was assured by your rep who had come to commission the fridge that the refund amount will be sent to my by cheque. I regret to inform you that the refund has not been provided so far . Kindly do the needful at your earliest

                I have purchased Godrej Washing Machine WM Wt620CFS [protected] on 25/12/2015 at Sathya Agencies P. Ltd. West Mambalam, Chennai 33 vide their invoice No;CH13-15/[protected] @ 15.09 by the sales Emp: S. Arunachalam CH13 in the name of my son R. Joshua Manoj and the payment was made in full.

                Mr Vignesh (Ph No: [protected] / [protected]) came for the demo and said he is only person I should contact for any further maintenance of the machine.
                Within 6 months, I had a problem in the machine. ie., whenever I load, whether 1/4 or 1/2 or full. after consuming the water it beeps constantly, as if there is no water coming. At that time, I have to lift the lid and close. Then it will run regularly. Again after soaping, it sounds, again I have to lift the lid and close. It happens 4 times per wash.

                When I called Vignesh to rectify this problem, he said we have to clean the cap of the tap. I think twice I called and he said the same thing and still I am facing the same problem. That means, I cannot load the washing machine and go away. I have to keep an eye on it to hear the beep sound.

                I wonder whether it is a manufacture defect or any technical fault. I have never experience such an issue with my previous machine.

                I request Godrej to help me out to solve the problem as early as possible.

                  Hi i'm a loyal customer of Godraj and using 2 Washing machine and AC and was quite happy with all the appliances but after yesterdays experience all my expectations from brand is changed, i made a complaint with comp. no.D[protected] regarding my AC's remote not working, but when the Service engineer visited to check the same straight away he said your remote is dead and you have to pay for buying a new remote, neither he opened the remote and not even checked it properly, it was just a 3.5 mnth old ac, also few buttons of remote is working, then how come it is dead. Also the way of talking was very rude. When i asked him to make a job sheet for the same he replied that he will close the complain and taken the details of the AC, Also i've received the SMS from godrej that your complaint is Closed, without any solution how come my complaint is closed. this is very disheartening for me and i've made my mind not to buy any godrej product now onwards and not even recommend any one to buy any godrej product.

                    I purchased a semi automatic washing machine in december 2015, it s not even September 2016 that I have had massive problems with the dryer of the washing machine which makes so much noise as if a road roller is passing through my house.
                    Within the first nine months, I have been forced to call for technical help from godrej. despite some repairs, the dryer remains as noisy as ever and gets louder after every repair.
                    The company should replace the washing machine examined and replace it as it is apparently a defective piece sold to me.

                      I had purchased a godrej refrigerator on 16/05/2016 (Attaching the bill along).
                      There is a continous problem with the refrigerator as its door is very noisey when opening/closing i have complained by the name of mr ravinder singh several time for this problem (Complaint no-l[protected]).
                      The door was changed on 3/9/16 but just after 2 days i am facing the same problem the door is making a very irritating noise i called the concerened person mr saini he disconnected the call saying i cannot help.
                      So kindly see to this complaint as soon as possible

                        GIRIAS chennai on 23.8.2012.I shifted to Kanchipuram in2013 &fridge was working fine.Last week it had no cooling effect & your reps from Tamara said the compressor did not work & may cost rs9000.& the warranty is not there.when the warranty is valid till 2017 how can he charge?                           We bought a godrej eon refrigerator 1.3 years before which is of 231 liters double door. after 8 months o[censored]se it is leaking from top of it. i had given complaint regarding it, their technician came and changed thermocoal of it. after 4 months it is started giving problem again, now they are saying that warrenty is over, we can't do anything. what the hell. please resolve my issue as early as possibble. my mb no.                             I bought a Godrej fridge and a microwave oven on[protected] from Southern Agencies, Gopalapatnam. When the technician came to demonstrate the oven, a lot of smoke came out of the oven with a wire burning smell. The technician told me to return it. I did and they acknowledged to get it repaired or replaced. I called them many times and went to the shop and inquired but both were not done till date. I cant take it any more.                               I have purchased a GODREJ fully automatic washing machine from an agent of godrej on 24th July 2016 is giving some issue since 2 weeks not able to use it . as he came home to sell the machine as i have taken 2 products as the refrigerator is working well but the washing machine is giving lots of issue as it worked only for 1 week as i have given an complaints to the agent as the agent was very rude with us after taking the product and the agents name is Mr. Nilkanth ([protected]) and i really want to ask Godrej company how can a reputed company can hire such kind of agents as they don't even have manners how to speak to their customers, i have given many complaints on godrej website as well and the very lame reply i got from them is that we have noted the complaint and we will look into this matter as soon as possible but no reply or mail and sms has been received to us. as i have called godrej customer care any a time but the phone is always on busy tone i am really pissed off i need to know the result. i am attaching my details.

                                  I am writing this mail on behalf of my parents who bought a washing machine from Godrej in Guwahati, Assam.Since the last few weeks the machine has been posing problems and hence they have been trying to contact technicians of Godrej to fix it. They either never answer the calls or they lie that they are coming home to repair the machine. Its been more than 2 weeks now and no one has ever come until today.

                                  Its really pathetic on the part of Godrej to have such an awful service. Inspite of being a loyal customer to Godrej and buying almost every appliance from this company, my parents never got the service they deserved. If you cannot provide us the service please do let us know so that we can switch to other brands. Because there is a limit to patience.

                                  I have today even placed the complaint on Consumer Forum. Will wait for a response from your side.
                                  We hope that we get a reply back from Godrej soon.

                                    Hi team,

                                    I have submitted a supply order issued by canteen stores department, chennai on 03 august 2016 for supply of one godrej 240 ltr refrigerator rt eon frost free double door with toughened glass shelvers2 to sushma forms & agencies, no-16, 2nd street, jothi nagar, chitilapakkam, chennai, 600064. Lso no. 211025 dated 03 august 16 and their delivery challan no. 0253 refer.
                                    I had a color choice (Red / wine color). It was told that it may take around 10 days (13th aug) to dispatch the item and item would be dispatched on receipt of the same in the desired color. When i contacted after 10 days, they promised the delivery on 15th august.
                                    However, since the item was not dispatched even after lapse of 14 days. When i contacted yesterday 16th august, they ([protected], [protected],[protected] says that they will confirm today when they will be able to deliver the product.
                                    I have contacted them again today (17th august) and now they are asking time till friday (19th august). I completely lost belief on them. Kindly intervene.
                                    Please note that, delivery charge of rs. 500/- has also been paid for sending the item to kelabakkam.

                                    I have contact Mr. Arun (taken his contact details from http://www.consumercomplaints.in/godrej-non-delivery-of-regrigerator-bought-through-csd-c1029340). He is having the Godrej TN Circle. All the formalities are completed from Godrej site as per Mr. Arun and he is asking us to contact godrej agency (sushma forms & agencies). As usual the agencies is promising false date. Its already 33 days over. We don't have any idea when we will get the fridge.

                                        I had raised complained (B[protected]) with Godrej support on 16th July. It was attended on 21st Jul after multiple followups. the technician visited is of no use. next day they send another technician he said machine needs to picked up for repair & the machine was picked after 2 days i.e on 25th July .

                                        We have been informed by the service person it will take 8 day, we are replacing cooling coil.
                                        When we call after 8 days for status the service person were clues less said Godrej has not sen the cooling coil what we can do & they stopped taking my calls.
                                        I had contacted Godrej Toll free no many times, every time they simply said we raising this higher authority but never received proactive call from them.

                                        At one instant i had demanded to take conference call with service center, they kept me on HOLD for more than 30 mins, at sometime I had received call from service center on my other phone that call will resolved in 2 days & call was disconnected.

                                        Through my contacts i had pulled contact details for Mumbai service Branch Manager & coordinator. on dated 4th Aug 2016 they committed we are replacing machine with new one with in 8 days but still in vein. Every time I am getting new commitment & still it not resolved.
                                        I am fed up with these people for such huge followups, never received any proactive update.
