We placed an order for 2 door body cupboard from Godrej Interio showroom located at Amboli, Andheri(W), Mumbai on[protected]. The order details for the same are given below. We received the worst after sales service from Godrej this time.100% payment has been done in advance i.e. before the actual delivery of the cupboard. Sales Order no. : 765653 Picking List No. : 177466 Invoice No. : 75I/21160553 Invoice date :[protected] Item code/Description : 1. STSLB24S098/SLM 2 DR BODY 4SH Royal 2. STSLDS2D108/SLM STD 2 DR (LH+RH) PAC.B The problems we encountered are as follows: 1. The actual delivery of the cupboard was done on[protected] as against[protected] as promised. 2. We received the wrong consignment.The consignment to be delivered to us was actually delivered to some other customer. 3. The consignment meant for us was delivered to us and assembled 6 days later i.e. on[protected]. 4. While assembling it came to our notice that there is quite a big dent to the left part of the body of the cupboard. 5. When we coordinated with the showroom, we were told that it can be fixed only 7-8 days later. Such a pathetic service after 100% payment is done is absolutely not expected from a brand like Godrej. Not to mention the casual attitude and excuses of the sales people at Godrej Interio who only gave lame excuses like "we couldn't find your address" or "we had hired a new driver because of which the consignments were mismatched". We have been through enough frustration and we have reached the end of our patience. We politely request you to replace the defective product and not "fix" it. It is not our fault that the driver was new or the delivery people didn't bother to call when they couldn't find the right building or that the product was damaged in transit. Proper packaging for the same should have been ensured by Godrej. We are still awaiting replacement for the product. You are requested to look into the same so that we get the correct product and please get us some decent service. Photo proofs are attached. It has now been 11 days since we paid for the cupboard. Frustrating & Pathetic Post Sales Service from a reputed company like Godrej!! I will suggest anyone to think twice before ordering any products from Godrej Interio. I ordered a Godrej Slimline Almirah on 26th-Nov-14 from Godrej Interio Company Showroom at Behala, Chowrasta, Kolkata - 700008 (GIRNAR, 11Biren Roy Road-West, Paschim Barisha) by paying the full amount. It was for a marriage gift which was scheduled on 1st-Dec-14. Everything was fine till they missed the delivery date of 28th-Nov-14. Nobody even bothered to inform us (nor attending our calls) that they would not be able to deliver on the scheduled delivery date. We waited patiently till night. On 29th-Nov, suddenly in the evening they appeared without a single notification. Now the DRAMA and frustration started when we came to know that the packaged items would be assembled only by a separate department called "Fittings Deptt.". Even after multiple calls made to the showroom nobody took the matter seriously and everytime I called they gave the same response saying "We are looking into the matter". The showroom didn't take any responsibility of contacting their "OWN" Fittings department. They gave silly excuse saying they didn't have any control over their Fittings Department. It is only the buyer who needs to contact on their own. After multiple calls to the Fittings Department they also missed the fittings schedule without any intimation. Then we logged a complaint by calling the Godrej Customer Care and fittings were done 2-days after that. And by the time the MARRIAGE was over. It was really a pathetic service from Godrej and their customer handling!! I will NEVER buy any Godrej Products NOR suggest anyone to buy from them.

    I Manoranjan Kumar Tiwari, purchased Adrian dining table from godrej interio dealer CITILINE CHAS, BOKARO IN 2008, but it's glass top came out from steel structure because of pesting problem i.e liquid through which steel structure is attached to the glass top is not working as per godrej people.Fixed two times earlier by godrej people but again glass top came out last month. After repeated request, godrej people fixed it last week (through the same local dealer) and charged rs. 500 as well but again the very next day, again glass top fell from top leading to accident. Now godrej people are not listening at all. Even complain lodged with local Godrej representative Mr. Biswas but he is not paying attention at all. Feeling helpless.

      Dear Sir, I would like to inform you that I have purchased Brussels Plus Sofa Bed from your T.Nagar Branch on 4th October (Invoice no.84I/24123874 dtd 04.10.2014) which has already been delivered at Kodaikanal but till now it has not been assembled. I have made so many calls to your customer care and local sales office and requested to come for assembly but response is very bad. Each time when I call your sales office, my calls have been diverted to somebody who is not responsible for this. I got fed up with this. If this is not been assembled within this week I am forced to make a complaint to CAG (Consumer Action Group). In future I will not recommend Godrej Interio to anybody . The reasonable time could be a week or 10days but I had to follow up with your Naupada office and finally I received the call on 18.10.14 that the new top was at bhiwandi. Then I was told that due to diwali it could not be delivered. I received the call on 22nd confirming the delivery and fixing the top on Saturday 25.10.14. And it confirmed to me thrice that the same would be done. I told the person who had called me that on Saturday it must be completed as it had taken abnormally long time. We waited full Saturday but to my horror, no one turned up and today I was informed by your Naupada office that the co.was having diwali vacation and no one from godrej had promised me that my top would be fixed on Saturday. Now I am not interested in that top and DEMAND the compensation from Godrej Interio Naupada for lack of customer service, the mental agony I faced of Rs. 20000/- Please do not force me to approach consumer forum for my protection.           I purchased the bed on 12th may 2011, a day before my marriage and it was a wedding gift which my parents gave me. From day 1 I am facing problems from bed. It gets damaged without any cause as the quality is really poor. Local made bed dont need repair for years but my bed is all broken in just 3 years. Its all 4 handles (used to open bed) are broken by now, two of its side has got dispositioned. Any rat or any insect can enter in it anytime which creates a mental dissatisfaction for me as I am a working lady and cant be at home to check every damage and get this bed repaired every now & then. But even after getting it repaired it many times bed is still in bad position.. No Technician comes without no of requests. Moreover company officials dont try to understand the customer's situation and problems and directly starts explaining the charges levied for repairs. I have requested the official of jalandhar (from where the bed was purchased) to buy back the bed or replace the bed as I am suffering through from past 3 years due to this product, but they dont care for customers facing problem. No company official is ready to listen to anything and they treat customer as toy and make fun of customer complaint. I have requested them through emails to help me either in refund or replacement, but they refuse to help .. Kindly help and provide solution asap..           In a exhibition recently i have paid for godrej interio zurina king bed, but he did not given me warranty card, i informed at customer care but she told me, it is not necessary to have warranty card only bill is sufficient for logging any complaint if you have, please suggest me it is ok.

            I Purchased 1.5 ton 3 start Godrej AC in March 2014. Outdoor Ac make lot of noise like a truck or Tractor engine. Neighbours often get disturbed due to this, I am not sure whether this is Manufacturing Defect. Technicians in Godrej say it is normal, nut i dont think so.

              I have been using Slim Line wardrobe since November-2013. I have been facing lock related issue since long and i have called customer care executives for the after sales services for the same for 4 times. Every time either they are noting down the complains or else dropping the calls in between. Finally i called the mumbai office executive Mr. Saurabh on10.10.14. He assured me for the best services from your end. But still i am awaiting for the customer care executive to come and resolve the issue. Lastly i have emailed the complaint to [protected]@godrej.com, but still i haven't received any communication in this regard from after sales service team.                 The Issue of Godrej AURA TV Unit, please find the details herewith. I have already mentioned the problems below in mail sent to the original dealer. I might have made more than 100 calls to the dealer before I could get the delivery around 14-15 Sep ie 1.5 months after I had booked the unit. I was promised that I will get the unit in 1-2 weeks or max 3 weeks. And after the delivery was made, I see missing parts in it. For that again I am following up with the dealer since 2 weeks with no proper answer to it. This is really bad service from whosoever is responsible for this. Be it Godrej or Dealer or anyone else. Seeking your help to please resolve this issue at the earliest.                   We purchased a table from Ghazibad - Vasundhara store. only to find that its faulty. the visting godrej executive advised that only one part is faulty and will bea replaced. We immediately launched the service complaint again to replace the faulty part. after that our bad experinace started, the part arrived after 4 months of lodging the complaint, that belonged to a different model. now after 2 more months we are still waiting for this to be resolved.                     I purchased Godrej Dining Chairs Stella(6 pcs) along with few other furnitures from M/S S.R. Furniture, S-2/332 A, Gilat Bazar, Varanasi U.P.( MOB NO.[protected]) on invoice dated 19.oct.2013 vide invoice no.127. Few days back, few of the chair's part broke due to which the chair parts need to be replaced so i complained to Mr Lalit, owner of M/S S R Furniturs, over Phone on 10th of september 2014. In reply of the complaint he said that he has lodged complain for change of parts to Godrej but till today i have not received any satisfactory reply from him.He is either not receiving the calls or giving different excuses over phone.Neither he has logded any complain to godrej for replace of parts as I sent the mail in this regard as well but he didnt give any proper response for the complain proof. If this kind of services will be received from vendor for godrej product I will rather prefer to puchase other brand furnitures & in future I would not like to recommend any one to purchase godrej interio furniture.                       I had ordered a project for modular kitchen for my newly purchased flat in Thane from Godrej Interio in July 2014 through the dealer . The dealer Pratik home solutions Ghodbunder Road, Thane.. The project has been ongoing for a shocking period of more than 2 months and is still awaiting completion., We are senior citizens and have been subjected to intense physical and mental harassment and regret undertaking the project with your company. The kitchen still non functional in spite of Mr Sanju Bhalerao assuring them that the project would be complete before the holy period of Navratri. At first wrong size cabinets arrived at site, it took one month for Godrej to replace them. After installation we noticed that the cabinet doors with number of small dents which spoils the look of the painted surfaces. Shown to Mr Bhalerao on 4th Oct the day after installation has been completed. He told that he will discuss the complint with Gorej QA person and revert back on Monday 6th Oct. I now need all these improperly finished doors to be replace soon. I find it impossible to believe that the Godrej brand's standard have fallen so low that they are sending second quality stuff.

                        We are buying an metal wardrobe from you. we purchase that in kalyan but we told that at the time of purchase that we use this at karad and we want any service regarding that in karad. but when we came with your product and we wish to use that product we identify their was a problem in opening and closing of doors. so we call many times to your custmor care and follow very foolish and time consuming process but no responce is given from your side. if you are not in condition to give service for new product then how you give service for old products

                          Dear Sir Some years ago, 2010 to be precise, I thought of buying some furniture . Being in the Army, I never thought that I would buy any furniture, but at that time when I decided that I would go in for furniture, the only name that struck me was Godrej Interio. That was the only name that could be trusted, at least that is what I thought . I bought a TV Cabinet by the name of Alcove and a Sofa cum Bed . The people in Trichy from whom I bought it said that whenever I would be transferred, they would come and pack it . Being a prized possession, I thought it prudent to follow their suggestions. I got posted to Pilani in Rajasthan, and what happened after that, My faith in Big companies has been rudely broken. In Thanjavur, people came from Trichy and packed the stuff and took a nominal charge of Five Hundred Rupees . Reaching Pilani, I contacted Jaipur, Hissar and Bhiwadi branches of Godrej Interio and they refused to come and assemble the items . For this I even spoke to Mr Suhag in Jaipur that I was willing to pay whatever was the reasonable service charges and I was told that I would have to pay Five Thousand rupees for the people to come. Frustrated with the general apathy towards existing customers shown by the company, I caught hold of a person in Pilani who was an ex-employee of Godrej Interio at Jaipur and got the things assembled in 700/-.Once I was posted out of Pilani I called the same chap to pack the stuff . Coming to Patiala, I knew I would face the same problem . I contacted Chandigarh Office and was told that I would have to give two thousand rupees, one thousand for each item . The service engineer came and assembled The TV cabinet and did not know about the Sofa Cum Bed and so he told me that the Sofa Cum bed is not a Godrej Product and that they will not assemble it . They asked for a thousand rupees and went away. Again contacting the Chandigarh Branch, two more people came and said that we have tampered with the screws and that they will have to be remade in the market and took five hundred rupees for getting it made .They did not know the model number and so they went away and told us to find out from the website what was the model number of the sofa cum bed . I found it out and send it to them and they again came . They broke one of the wheeled leg of the sofa cum bed but they were able to assemble it, though now I could only use it as a sofa and not a bed . They charged three thousand citing the reason the I had called them twice and that I made them assemble a product that the Company has stopped making . I am not writing this mail to complain, I just want to give you an insight about what pathetic state of after sales service your company is having . I have already made up my mind that I will sell off the items since there is no way I can bear the apathy of the so called After sales Executives of the Best Furniture Company of India.                             I had ordered a project for modular kitchen for my parents in Hyderabad from Godrej Interio in June 2014. The dealer for the above order was Mr Vinod Pandey, SIMPLE MODULAR SYSTEMS, HYDERABAD, Mob: [protected]. The project has been ongoing for a shocking period of more than 3 months and is still awaiting completion. The workers sent for the project were very inexperienced and substandard. There has been no supervision by anyone on the site. My parents are both elderly individuals, and have been subjected to intense physical and mental harassment and regret undertaking the project with your company. The kitchen has been rendered completely unusable in spite of Mr Pandey assuring them that the project would be complete before the holy period of Navratri. The workers have committed innumerable silly blunders along the way and are not taking responsibility for the same. No redressal seems to be happening. Simple things like giving a slope for water flow, alignment of cupboards, fixing of drainage pipe etc have been neglected. Each time they visit the site, they leave a complete mess behind (e.g. rubble, pieces of stones, nuts and bolts, cement, chemical etc), leaving it to the senior citizens to clean up behind them. They are following unprofessional work practices like mixing the cement directly on the highly polished expensive granite slab, despite being told not to do so repeatedly by the old couple. I have never seen such unethical and unprofessional practices anywhere in my life. I find it impossible to believe that the Godrej brand's standard have fallen so low that they are sending such untrained and incompetent people who even lack simple courtesies and common sense.

                              Hardly one year of purchase in June 14, the cushion on my 3 seater sofa got deformed and even Color got faded. Now the technical person is charging 11000/- for replacing. Very bad quality and costly repair cost within 1 year from purchase, reflects the low quality of your products. If not replaced, I am thinking to go to consumer court also. [protected]

                                I have purchased sofa i.e florence from your dealer at mandi (hp) 2 years back. Problem now is that a 2 seatter sofa has a problem as i told to the sales person over there tellephonic. But they now asked me to bring over that to mandi instead they could not send the techn. As it is to far sir problem is not 2much to resolve but the answer was not good from there side.cont no [protected]

Rhine Recliner (3+1+1) – 1 No. 4.Jack Dining Table – 1 No. 5.Rose Dining Chair – 6 Nos. 6.Stressed Pocket Spring Matress (78x72x06) – 1 No. 7.Techno Recliner – 1 No. Discountoffered – INR 2, 851 Additionaloffer that was running at the time we made the purchase – 1 Tone AC Free, 2 Pillows Free Net Bill Amount: INR 2, 18, 214/- ReceiptNo & Dt : 32660 & 32658 dated 29th June 2014 Ihave enumerated the details of the problems faced below for your reference. Fornow, I need you to get the below fixedto our satisfaction in next two to 3 days time if not we would be forced to approach “consumer court” for resolution: 1) Delivery the Rose Dining Chairs as promised at the time of sale.If not take back the Dining table and refund us for both chairs + dining table.If not with interest, refund the amount we have paid for these two i.e., Rs.29, 517 (11, 397 for table + 18120 for chairs). 2) Deliver the AC atleast within a reasonable time 3) Replace the damaged Grande Kind Bed 4) Fix the issue around assembly of Rhine Recliner (1+1) Problems faced: 1. The salesman promised that the delivery schedule was 4 weeks from the dateof purchase. When I called them to follow up on the status during 3rdweek, I was promised that the products will be delivered as per the agreedtimelines. When I did not receive any call after 4 weeks, I had to make severalfollow up calls to check the status, I have lost track of the number of calls Imade now. We started getting the products in batches after 6 to 7 weeks. 2.During 2nd week of Aug’14, the salesman confirmed that we will receive allproducts + 2 free pillows except item no. 2 and 5 in a couple of days. When wegot the delivery, we did not have item 6 (mattress) and the 2 pillows. Thedelivery team was completely unaware of the items to be delivered and took noresponsibility to explain or provide us assurance on the status. So we had toagain repeatedly call the sales man to understand what went wrong. Aging to ourshock, Item 1 Grande King Bed was delivered in a damaged state. 3.For the first batch, the assembly men who called us was quite indifferent tothe turn around time and casually said he will come the next day or a day laterto install the materials. Again after repeated calls to the sales men, theassembly team turned up 2 days after delivery to fix. They were in a hurry whenthey fixed it. Again as the kind size bed was delivered in damaged condition, he refused to assemble the same and took note of it before leaving. The 1+1recliners were not installed properly (too hard / tight to open the recliners) 4.Our newly set up home was made a godown as the salesman, delivery men andassembly men work completely as 3 different companies and don’t takeresponsibility for each others faults. After several follow ups again as wewere not able to use the king size bed, finally the same technician who hadinitially refused to assemble visited our house during 4th week ofAug and somehow assembled the bed (leaving some parts beneath the bed) to bringit to usable condition until we get a replacement for the damaged piece. Whenwe asked him to rectify the issue with recliner, he refused to do so as he wasin a hurry to visit some other customer’s house. We are still waiting forreplacement of the damaged king size bed and bearing with the tight recliner!!! 5.The sales man confirmed that he will deliver everything in the 2ndbatch during 3rd week of Aug’14 – but to our surprise item #5 RoseDining Chairs did not arrive. After several follow ups, we were informed thatGodrej is no more manufacturing these chairs hence we have an option either tocancel the order or select different set. Very disappointing with thisinformation as we wanted to buy a complete dining set (table + chairs). So wedecided to cancel the order for table + chairs. When communicated this to thesalesman, he says dining table cannot be taken at the same price we bought!! 6.Overall package included a free AC in this deal (which was one of the decidingfactors for us to go ahead with this). We are still waiting for this to bedelivered and not really sure if we will get it with the kind of after salesservices we are receiving!!! Expectinga speedy resolution … Regards, Sri

                                      sir, I purchased 3 seater Janerio sofa 2 sets on 14 may 2014. Soon after purchase it started making noise from spring while seating & other sofa seems sagging esp. the middle seat (back & seat both) for which I registered a complaint on 14 july CR no. 462707. Repeated reminders were given on 19 july, 21 july then again on 24 july for visit. After loads of follow up & interference made with Mr. prateek( After Sales Services Head Delhi as told by cust care) I managed a technician visit. Upon inspection he & found serious problem in both sofa sets & advised for replacement. He also took photos of both sets for HO approval. The replacement would take 1 month time he said. The real ordeal started here on as no updates were available to customer care so they gave me contact of Mr. Sandeep ([protected]) on 5 aug 14, he asked me to contact further some Mr. Luvkush ([protected]). Upon calling both of them they asked me to wait for a day to get the updates. Since as expected, no feedback from their end, I called Mr. luvkush again & he assured me to get the replacement by month end. I gave him a call again on 25.aug, he again asked for a day for updates. Since then they both (Mr. Sandeep & Mr. Luvkush) have stop responding. Frustrated I again had to call Mr.Prateek & he promised to get my problem solved in a week. He responded after 2 days & asked to get them repaired for which I totally denied. He sent some other technician for a revisit after 3-4 days for the reasons best known to him. The technician started explaining the details of the problem & again asked for repair (open up & see). I agreed to get the spring problem repaired which they did. But the other sofa’s sagging problem still to be resolved. Mr. Prateek asked for sofa pictures & a week more for their view. Now I have been told that there is no problem in the sofa on 6 sept 2014. They say It is all normal but to me the things have worsened in a month… when someone sits on the sofa middle seat sinks more than side two seats. Just imagine the same problem was big enough that needed a replacement 1 month back & now there is no problem with the sofa set. What happened in month?? Did that resolved spontaneously?? After much pissing off… I wanted to ask able persons from GODREJ INTERIO, if any ----- 1. The problem started soon after purchasing & reported to the company in due time & at first visit your technician found it defective so what happened within a month that the problem resolved on its own on your part? 2. Is it a customer duty to reach different persons & ask for updates? While purchasing customer pays at one end & the whole system moves on its own then why not after sales?                                       Really painful to learn that a big chain like Godrej does’nt have anything to offer but consolation.
                                      For you people, 5 months old complaint need not to be taken up even with repeated reminders.
                                      Even no communication other than mail response if not auto-generated.

                                      It seems a time buying trick till warranty period. After that company can easily wash off her hands.

                                      However I have no hope for any action in this regard but still as a formality for further reference take

                                        This is further to my complaint dated 23rd July 2014. I had added a comment to the said complaint saying that the missing parts had arrived. But to my dismay, when the technician arrived 2 days later it was found that the missing parts that had arrived were the wrong ones!!! After speaking to your showroom after that, I was assured that the correct parts would be delivered by August end. I decided to wait patiently till then. But now, it is the 4th of September and there is no sign of the missing parts!!! On calling up, I keep getting the answers "Yes ma'am, they will be delivered soon!" I want to know how "SOON"!!! Also, one shelf of the Magnus 2 door wardrobe that I have purchased needed to be replaced. The new shelf has been delivered 10 days ago and no technician has come to fix it till date in spite of me calling up nearly everyday!! It is a huge disappointment to see such poor customer service from such a reputed company!!!
