sir, I purchased 3 seater Janerio sofa 2 sets on 14 may 2014. Soon after purchase it started making noise from spring while seating & other sofa seems sagging esp. the middle seat (back & seat both) for which I registered a complaint on 14 july CR no. 462707. Repeated reminders were given on 19 july, 21 july then again on 24 july for visit. After loads of follow up & interference made with Mr. prateek( After Sales Services Head Delhi as told by cust care) I managed a technician visit. Upon inspection he & found serious problem in both sofa sets & advised for replacement. He also took photos of both sets for HO approval. The replacement would take 1 month time he said. The real ordeal started here on as no updates were available to customer care so they gave me contact of Mr. Sandeep ([protected]) on 5 aug 14, he asked me to contact further some Mr. Luvkush ([protected]). Upon calling both of them they asked me to wait for a day to get the updates. Since as expected, no feedback from their end, I called Mr. luvkush again & he assured me to get the replacement by month end. I gave him a call again on 25.aug, he again asked for a day for updates. Since then they both (Mr. Sandeep & Mr. Luvkush) have stop responding. Frustrated I again had to call Mr.Prateek & he promised to get my problem solved in a week. He responded after 2 days & asked to get them repaired for which I totally denied. He sent some other technician for a revisit after 3-4 days for the reasons best known to him. The technician started explaining the details of the problem & again asked for repair (open up & see). I agreed to get the spring problem repaired which they did. But the other sofa’s sagging problem still to be resolved. Mr. Prateek asked for sofa pictures & a week more for their view. Now I have been told that there is no problem in the sofa on 6 sept 2014. They say It is all normal but to me the things have worsened in a month… when someone sits on the sofa middle seat sinks more than side two seats. Just imagine the same problem was big enough that needed a replacement 1 month back & now there is no problem with the sofa set. What happened in month?? Did that resolved spontaneously?? After much pissing off… I wanted to ask able persons from GODREJ INTERIO, if any ----- 1. The problem started soon after purchasing & reported to the company in due time & at first visit your technician found it defective so what happened within a month that the problem resolved on its own on your part? 2. Is it a customer duty to reach different persons & ask for updates? While purchasing customer pays at one end & the whole system moves on its own then why not after sales? Dear whomsoever concerned,

Really painful to learn that a big chain like Godrej does’nt have anything to offer but consolation.
For you people, 5 months old complaint need not to be taken up even with repeated reminders.
Even no communication other than mail response if not auto-generated.

It seems a time buying trick till warranty period. After that company can easily wash off her hands.

However I have no hope for any action in this regard but still as a formality for further reference take
this mail as a REMINDER.

    This is further to my complaint dated 23rd July 2014. I had added a comment to the said complaint saying that the missing parts had arrived. But to my dismay, when the technician arrived 2 days later it was found that the missing parts that had arrived were the wrong ones!!! After speaking to your showroom after that, I was assured that the correct parts would be delivered by August end. I decided to wait patiently till then. But now, it is the 4th of September and there is no sign of the missing parts!!! On calling up, I keep getting the answers "Yes ma'am, they will be delivered soon!" I want to know how "SOON"!!! Also, one shelf of the Magnus 2 door wardrobe that I have purchased needed to be replaced. The new shelf has been delivered 10 days ago and no technician has come to fix it till date in spite of me calling up nearly everyday!! It is a huge disappointment to see such poor customer service from such a reputed company!!!

      Below is a copy of the email that i have send on 22nd Aug & still awaiting a proper responce. I was guided to a person called Gowthama who has come back today saying he would replace the required part on chargeable basis. The company is concerned only of money. I had Paid Rs 80000 on the total bill but you sold me Scrap which didnt even last a couple of months. What if again the leg breaks & the table lands in one of our Legs. The social responsiblity of Godrej is 0%. If there is anyone responsible in the company. I would appriciate a call back in [protected]


      Dear Mr Binu

      With reference to my meeting at your office I would like to bring to your notice that I had purchased a Cresent Dining table, Novara 9 seater Sofa set, Alco Wall TV unit & a cot on 13th June 2014. Ref your bill number 4436. I had seen the ad at the daily & being a Godrej product I never had second taughts. As discussed I would like to bring to your notice that the Cresent dining table broke on its own at midnight. I had personally come to your office & shown you the broken legs which is still with you. As you have agreed that it is a design flaw & you have discontinued the product I request you to replace the same with a suitable alternative at the earliest.

      You may note that the product didn’t even last a couple of months which should be an eye opener to a company like Godrej & the damage was not due to miss handling or wear & tear. It is a glass top table with a steel support & an under guard weighing about 100 Kg but the wood that you have used & the design done is too inferior to match the standards of a company like Godrej. Imagine a 100 KG table falling on to your leg while dining with hot stuffs on top & you would know how serious & dangerous the problem is. I have a toddler who crawls at time beneath the table. I was lucky enough that the table collapsed by itself after midnight but somebody else using the same stuff might have a different fate, especially considering the weight of the product. As a responsible company I expect you to recall all the cresent models as it is totally unstable & unsafe. I hope you shall bring my concerns to the respective persons & the needful would be done.

        hi there
        Visited Godrej Interio Gurgaon DLF PHASE 1 Show room and booked "kreation cupboard". I paid 60% amount at the time of booking. After waiting for 4-5 days there was no response/call from them. when i called them a guy arrived with packages and collected the rest of amount and told me fitter will arrive in an hour and their is show after that. Showroom guy keep telling lie again and again. every time i ask for installation he says 'in an hour sir'. already wasted my 1n half day and still waiting at home... (now his phone is switched off)
        definitely m not going to consider godrej for my next purchases...

          Sir This is to bring your kind attention that we purchased some furniture from Godrej authorized dealer, Palakkad on 31/03/2014 (Das agencies, palakkad). All chairs rolling wheel is not working properly and one chair rolling wheel broken . We informed the same to Das agencies palakkad. One executive came to our office and told that they need letter pad request for clear the complaints. Its not possible to collect letterpad from the higher authorities for small complaints, we have the invoice copy with us for proof. So kindly request you to solve the problems at the earliest. It has been more than a month and right now I don't need your Goods due to failure of delivering the Goods on time from your side.                 We have purchased -4- dining chairs from Godrej Interio Handa showroom at Industrial Area, Chandigarh. The chairs were purchased on 02.06.2013 vide Bill No.04604 and Receipt No.18303. Total amount paid was Rs.10, 369/-. We have been making complaints from 15.06.14 onwards to Godrej Interio that the chairs are defective and are shaking. However, there is no proper response. One of the chairs collapsed on 08.07.14 and other -3- chairs are shaking. You are requested to arrange for replacement of chairs immediately.                   Sir/Madam, I have purchased a godrej bureau on March this year, and during assembling the technician informed that the doors where faulty and would be replaced within 20 days, but we have not got the replacement even now after 5 months. I have raised a complaint multiple times on the customer care but have not got any proper response. The doors have been kept locked for the 5 months and the bureau is laying useless.                     Godrej as a name for us meant Honesty & Trust, but my experience with Godrej shows response from local vendors are much better than Godrej Interio response. I had booked Sofa set, Coffee Table and Sllimline 2 door almirah from Godrej interio on 16th of june2014 from Godrej Interio Jessore Road Madhyamgram, Kolkata store . I had paid advance amount of INR 20000/- during an offer and asked them to get my Almirah delivered first . They told that the same will be delivered by month end, we agreed but they called by 25th and said it is ready and they are getting the same delivered. We struggled for 4 days to receive the almirah because for those 4 days they had ample excuses that there was a breakdown of truck, distributor was not there, there is a strike, etc which they told us in the evening after we missed our office for the day.Every day they confirmed of the delivery and they tortured us with different excuse. This is the story of Almirah delivery. Now we did ask them if they would repeat the same story as of almirah, they confirmed it will not be repeated.I paid the remaining amount of INR 73940/- on 6th of Aug 2014 and was told that Sofa and coffee table is ready for delivery but till date it is pending with different excuses as at the time of Almirah.I am tierd and fed up with the excuses and annoyed because there is no one to help because I have already paid the huge amount and have not received the product, .We really want to go to consumer court but the time constraint is a barrier. I hope this complain will not go into deaf ear and some strict action is taken against this store how they fool customers .I had to purchase few more products but these experience makes me think and share my experience with everyone not to purchase or purchase at their own risk. When i complained their response was "We will give you a mail id and you can complain on that" this kind of response is highly unacceptable. I am writing this just to share my experience with others;so others can make the right choice.

                      Dear Sir/Madam My self R.Pragasam booked two mini almirah on 19 Jul 2014 from P Square Enterprises, 3-8-292/172, Chandra Puri Colony, L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad. Mr. Kiran from the showroom assured that the delivery will be with in one or two weeks. I approached Mr. Kiran after two weeks he further ascertained that another one more week delivery will be made. When I call him after three weeks he not responding and when I approached the showroom no clear information from them. I never expected this kind of customer service from your authorised dealer.                         I have got a Godrej modular kitchen installed at my residence in Panchkula around 7 years back, by Godrej, Chandigarh. Recently due to a fault in the slab of the kitchen, I requested Godrej for its repair in May 2014. Godrej said that their rep will visit our residence to assess the required items for repair. For this they will charge Rs 500/-. After a lot of followup with Chandigarh office, during mid Jun their reps visited and found that 2 legs will be required for replacement. I paid Rs 500/- towards their visiting charges. I told to go ahead and arrange for the required legs. It was told that it will take around 4-6 weeks for arranging the legs, which also was agreed by me, as I wished that the repair should be undertaken only by the experts i.e. Godrej. In the meantime due to my transfer from Panchkula I had to shift from Panchkula to Delhi locking my house. In between I kept on following up with Mr Jitender Sharma[protected] / [protected]) of Godrej Chandigarh regarding arrival of the required legs for the kitchen. I have made at least 100 calls so far between Jun-Aug just to inquire the arrival of legs. Every time I have been told that it is being arranged. Next week I was planning to go to Panchkula for Kitchen repair anticipating that by now the legs must have come. But to my surprise, even today I was told that the legs have not yet been received by them. Had I known this earlier I would have got my kitchen repaired locally before shifting to Delhi instead of waiting for so long, without any results. It only shows the monopolistic way of deceiving the customers in todays competitive world. I have just wasted time of more than 3 months and money on account of visiting charges just to seek consultation without any commitment on the part of Godrej. Now, I have no other option but to get my kitchen repaired from local vendors, after waiting for more than 3-4 months. Shame on GODREJ that they are working in such a manner without any commitment!

                            I had booked a Slimline 3 door storwell with the new Slimline fusion geametric range 3 door on 04/07/14. I had booked at the Godrej Interio showroom of N G Mercantile Pvt Ltd, Itag Plaza, G S road, Guwahati-5, Phone: [protected], and paid an advance of Rs.10, 000. They had told me to wait for about 20 days for the order to arrive. The delivery date was given as 19th July, 2014. I called them once on that day and was told that the order would take another week to arrive. After a week when my order did not arrive nor I got any call from the dealers, I again called them on 1st Aug, 2014 and asked them the reason for delaying. They replied that there has been some technical problem in production of the new fusion range, so there may be more delay till time unlimited. Please clarify.

Order received on 26-Jul-2014 As per documented stamp, should have been assembled as on date. Gave calls to;[protected] calls no effect) they always directed by giving mobile numbers for direct contact. Called the branch from where i buyed !!! same response... no courtsey Called [protected].. was supposed to provide status in hours time... no effect ALL YOUR STAFF IS JUST FOOLING UP THE CUSTOMER BY DIRECTING FRAUDLY... LOOK INTO THE MATTER WITH EARLY RESOLUTION.

                                    I am extremely dissapointed with the services of the new Godrej interio. The staff are very irresponsible and even after repeated calls and assuring us timely services they have failed to meet our servicing requests. Any potential buyer please think twice before you make purchases from this store. While or furniture were delivered at one point in time, the technician never arrived even after repeated calls. we had not faced this before, and believe this change for the worse may be due to change in the management.

                                      I have ordered steel cupboard in bangalore (order no 333024) on July 7. The material was sent to my address and made defective by the transporter. Hence I need to resend the material to godrej. As said I returned it narrating the defect in the copy provided by the transporter .Even though i called several times the toll free number, no response was given, I even sent a mail and no response was there. I was assured the order will be cancelled and the amount paid will be refunded .Currently no status available

                                        I (Asesh chakraborty) purchased one godrej loretta dining.Table form m/s rajib enterprise, 20, west ghoshpara road, shyamnagar, north 24-pgs, pin-743127, west bengal, ph no[protected], bill no-7054, purchase date-21/01/2011.Now i am facing problem since last 8 mounths.I think this is the manufacture problem, they are visited my house several times but they could not repair this table.
