I purchased a New Godrej Refrigerator Model # GFE36TZ, Unit SR. #[protected] from M/s. Shariff's Sales & General Agencies Pvt. Ltd., C1, 3-4, RIfah Complex, New Sayyaji Rao Road, Mysore-570 001 on 06/08/2011 against buyback of my Old Godrej Refrigerator which was in good working condition. However, when the New Refrigerator was delivered, to my dismay, I found a Dent on the Freezer door and when the matter was brought to the notice of the Dealer he conveniently washed his hands off stating that the matter has been referred to the Marketing Manager, Bangalore Zone and that a Representative from the Company would look into the matter. The Company Representative, Mr. Raghu did come & left stating that the Freezer door would be replaced. When I called him after a week, he said that an Indent has been sent to the Company and that it would take some time. I request the authorities who deal with such issues to set right the Door at the earliest and restore my faith in the Godrej Company, for I have been a very faithful customer of Godrej for the last 20 years and hence, in good faith I once again purchased a Godrej Product.     Hi,

    The complaint is i have purchased a brand new microwave oven.I have requested demo for the installation and how to use.
    My Demo no is 968355 but no one is responding from godrej i have called up so many times but each time i got replied that we are sending now request has already been sent and all these nonsense stuff..

    So i want to do a consumer case against them so please help me out how to do that i want to do all the things legally and my kind suggestion to all the reviewers not to buy any product from godrej they are telling that they will give 3 year warranty but seriously they will not give u 1 day warranty .Such a poor company and such poor service soory my mistake its not poor service its no service is being given by them in reality but by words its there ..

      Godrej — wrong delivery

      Order dt 08.12.2010-borivali(W) showroom.cust.code 93SR4B-Unique ref.No.4B002904.Delivered on 28.12.2010. installation- 29.12.2010. The fixing of sofa was done with great difficulty after nearly two hours and Surprisingly the covers/upholstery was not of the accurate size.It was of two seater .We lodged complain on 31st .2 days nothing happened.today on inquiry i was told that it will take 15 days for replacing the covers being out of stock.After waiting patiently for 20 22 days for the new sofa of Godrej a so called reliable and prestigious brand such kind of service and mistakes are not expected. are we expected to keep this uncomplete uncovered skeleton at our home for 15 days more? Is this for what we spared Rs.31000/-? and who will be responsible for the scratches or any damages to the existing nylone cover that may occur during these waiting period?such scratches may occur only because it is in uncomplete condition.Why should we suffer for your such silly mistakes?

        Recently i have buyed an godrej slimline almirah on 17/06/2011 from dealer-universal trading company in gorakhpur.

        i had chosen the red colour of almirah & the distributor/dealer have fitted both the doors with two different colours, one red & other one maroon. when i have asked them to change it they are continiously telling me that company has provided us the same way & assuring me to change it in future. Now its almost two months & they are not changing the doors.

          I had booked a wall unit Veneto with Godrej franchisee S.S.Traders, Vijayanagar, Bangalore. Order number 346736 dated[protected]. Two parcels were delivered by Godrej people on 6-8-2011. I was told that the modules delivered will be assembled by the frachisee representative. In spite of several calls made to S.S.Traders, no one came to do the asembly. Godrej people feel that their responsibility is over and the customer has to contact the franchsee only. There is no scope for making complaints. It is unfortunate that a reputed company like Godrej shirks all responsibilty after taking full payment and push the customer under the mercy of the dealer. I made a bad decision in buying a Godrej product when I had better choices.
          during the visit of godrej interio outlet, salesman behaves like an MBA gentleman.
          But after booking the items & payin them they think that their job is over.
          Now it is the customer who has to follow up to their items?

          Why it is so Mr. Godrej????????????????????????????

            I am godrej customer from last 30 years and now decided to never buy a godrej appliance because of your WORST service and quality. I am suffering from last one year because of your bad service. I bought a double door godrej fridge almost a year back and ince then I have complained and got it repaired for like 5 to 6 times that too with full charges. My fridge is dead from last 2 days, everytime I pay commute/carry charges of fridge + service charges + parts change charges. I have been harrased like anything. Being an civilian I have full rights to file a case of mental harrasment and WORST service and frogery by giving default peice. I requst you to look in to this matter and get my fridhe replaced else I have to take some serious actions.

            i purchased a godrej frost free refrigerator form sameer electornics, yusuf sarai.. the product is extremely bad. there is no cooling in the fridge. i would like to warn anyone who wants to purchase a godrej refrigerator. it is extremely bad product. BEWARE before you buy one!!

            bought a godrej fridge in 2006 from bharat commercial, patna.. it has never worked properly .. got it repaired thrice from the authorised centre shruti enterprises .. charged twice ..most lousy service .. it has conked again..lying in peace for the last three months ..relying on the much older voltas for daomestic work .. complaint to ravi bhat and the company went in vain .. only computer generated responses on email and sms till date .. let the world know about the real godrej ..

            Godrej / Refrigerator — Worse Services by Godrej

            I brought a refrigerator 10 months ago. Which was pinchured before 4 months. We had raised 100s of complain with Godrej. Example of complain number is #201624, . And called them 1000s times. However one day customer care executive came and take away my freezer( Name of executive is Zafer Iqbal, Employee o[censored]nited Home Care emp code 84054, Akshy Kumar Empl Code 840860) and yet I am waiting for those executive to comeback. Please help.

              Purchased a semi automatic washing machine Godrej on 15.08.2009 from Usha Trading Company, Nashik and it is not working properly and has some manufacturing defect. I made a complaint so may times but the technician comes and make temporarty work. after few months machine not work properly it make various problem. now i want to change repalce the machine immegialtey.

                I had purchased a godrej refrigrator modelno "GFE-25BZ SHELL WINE"payment made in cash worth Rs 14500 on[protected].After a week, the colour of its handle had started faded.I had filed my first complaint to godrej customer care toll free no on[protected]and was assured of timely rectification but no such assurance has been complied with so far.The response of entire staff is quite shameful.Every time i lodge my complaint and the person who comes for inspection assured the same that the default would be rectified soon.Its quite shameful to tell that after 3 months from the purchase no such rectification has been made and now the staff is saying that the default would be rectified but i have to pay for it although my product lies within the warranty period.I request the concerned authorities to take reasonable steps as soon as possible otherwise i would be forced to take legal measures.

                  Sub : Manufacturing Defect of legs of sofa set
                  Dear Sir,
                  I would like to say that I am a regular customer of Godrej Interio ( Girnar, Biren Roy Road ,West), I have purchased Sofa set, bed, Dining Table , Study Table, Almirah, Understorage, Kitchen cabinet etc. from your company only.

                  The Sofa set D Alpina Mushroom one 3 seater and 2 one seater purchased vide Invoice No GR/00108/09-10 dated 16-Aug-2010. All the 12 legs of above Sofa set were having manufacturing defect . On call a technician named Biswanath agreed about the manufacturing defect and changed 6 legs in two instalments. For remaining 6 legs complaint lodged vide call no 446644 Dt. 26/4/11 . The same technician inspected and showed various excuses for not to change the legs . On further complaint a Senior Man Named Bapi Purkait contacted me and sent another technician , the technician told me that he will change the legs . But surprisingly I receive a phone call from Mr. Biswanath who said that I will have to pay for the change of legs though he agreed earlier regarding manufacturing defects and changed 6 legs. I tried to contact Mr. Bapi Purkait but he did not care to listen me. I am again and again complaining regarding legs problem as soon as it came to my notice. This is a discredit that till date your Kolkata centre could not complete the job. In the mean time remaining 6 legs have become slack.

                  After sale service of Kolkata office is very very poor , it is not expected from a reputed company like yours. I would request your head office to intervene into this matter and arrange for changing the remaining legs of Sofa Set.

                      We bought two Godrej double bed mattresses a month ago; both started developing huge troughs within 24 hours o[censored]sage. One of them has been replaced; new one developing the same troughs.

                      Our complaint was handled by Pradeep (Mumbai office) who cited "manufacturing defect in the lot" as the reason. He suggested we upgrade to "orthopedic" mattresses and pay exorbitant difference amount for this upgrade. Doesn't their own employee believe in the product he is selling or is this new way of cheating the consumer by forcing him to dwell deeper in to his pocket? If this is company policy, it is absolutely outrageous!!

                      We have been suffering from back aches because of these defective mattresses. Godrej must provide us with the right "orthopedic" mattresses ASAP at no extra cost as our compensation for all the trouble and pain.

                        Godrej washing machine — No service yet for a reported fault in spite of signing an AMC

                        I have taken a one year AMC for my Godrej Washing Machine. I lodged a complain (No. 928209) on 22/06/09 at 10:30 AM for servicing of my W/M. For last 4 days I have called to check the status. Everytime I was told that today it will be done. Nobody has attended it and neither I received any call as to why it is not being done or when it will be actually done. I am now sincerely repenting signing the AMC. This is absolutely ridiculous way of giving service to customer particularly in today's competitive consumer durables market. I have been buying Godrej products for so many years. But now next time wnen I want to buy an AC or exchange my fridge, I need to have second thoughts.

                          AIR CONDITIONER ( AC )
                          AC ( Model GSC 18 FS 3 WIH ) is purchased from Godrej (application No. 1258883) on 11.07.2011 with one year warranty.
                          (i) Company sent two packages for above AC on 19.07.11 and told to wait for its installation within 3 days.
                          (ii) Company sent his technicians for installation on 23.07.11 . They fixed the AC but could not make it operative. They told us that the AC was defective and asked me to contact the company.
                          (iii) Company was contacted. They told us to give the installation charges to the technicians and they were sending other technicians for repairing the new AC .
                          (iv) Two technicians came but they also failed to make the AC operative. They asked to sign the Photostat copy for attending the service. The signed copy was given with not satisfactory report.
                          (v) The company was informed about it telephonically also.
                          (vi) The company did not care even after so many reminders to the officers (Mr. Atul , Mr. Rashid Khan) of the company on telephone . They tried to misguide us by saying to contact other telephone numbers. The numbers they suggested were always switched off.
                          (vii) Ultimately a private technician was called to set the AC operative. He charged Rs. 2500/- and set the AC operative.

                            I have bought 2 Godrej chairs for Rs 6086/25 item code FU7042RXV13SXXXX PCH-7042R MILAN RED Challan no 4647 customer code 93SR58 in may 2010. The company man came fitted the chairs but within a week the nuts and screws just started falling out.and as you sit on the chair the chair just slides down after our complain your man came 2 do the needful but while doing it he broke the backrest.while signlng i wrote a note about the same.but no action was taken.then we put in a request again the service call no is 347672.but no action taken by the co.WE are stuck with 2 defective pieces.After i wrote this letter i got a call and the CO. man checked and left and never got back.its nearly 2 months now.

                              Dear Sir/madam,

                              I brought Alice coffee table in November 2010
                              from Agarwal Autosales, Anpara.Within few months layers coated over the legs of the table started coming out from the lower portion of the two
                              legs. I raised the problem to be the above mentioned dealer and to the
                              Godrej personnel Mr.Narendra Singh and to my great awe the Godrej
                              personnel squarely blamed me and said because of moisture problem has aroused.
                              So when i lodged complain through consumer complain forum,i received phone call from Bhopal based Godrej people.When i revealed that i am located at Singrauli at the border of Madhya Pardesh and Uttar Pardesh and i have purchased the item fron the nearby shop o[censored]ttar Pardeh, he immediately shed his responsibilty stating out of his jurisdiction.
                              Since then no appreciable action taken against my complain.

                                  Dear Sir/madam
                                  i have brought Godrej Alice coffee table in November 2010 from Agarwal Autosales, Anpara.But within few months of purchase layer coated over the legs of the table started coming out haevily from the lower portion of the two legs.i raised the complain to the above mentioned dealer and also talked to the Godrej Personnel Mr.Narendra Singh.To my awe ,Godrej personnel squrely blamed me and tried to shed the responsibilty by quoting user is responsible for it and moisture of environment too. But for kind information , the table has not gone through rainy season and defect aroused in dry season.Though being in warranty period , these respected people are not listening to my repeated complaint.Doesn't big and diverse company like Godrej provide after sale service .What is the meaning of warranty period when company of great stature is not paying heed to consumer's plight.

                                  Hi,
                                  I am sriram, In march i have purchased a refigrator nearly Rs14000, in bhimavaram.Now the condition of the refirigrator is not at all good.I have called many times for the godrej agency regarding this complaint, no one is taking care of this.I think this is not a good service provided by the godrej.Please take care of this complaint in high priority.

                                  The problems I have faced By refrigrator are:

                                  1)Their have deliverd the refrigrator to home on the purchase of the day, after opening the refrigrator, we found some Bendings for the refrigrator.We have a talk to godrej agency their said if you have any problem regarding the working please contact us we will be available 24]/7.

                                  2)The Gas has been leaked with in 15 days.

                                  "I have never thought this kind of service provided by the Godrej refrigrator".
                                  "I thought it is a number1 product in refrigrator".

                                  I want to know what kind of resolution you are going to provide for this.

                                    Dear all,

                                    Do not buy any furniture from godrej interior. They are horrible. read my situation below

                                    I ordered for cupboard on 8th May 2011 and was told it will take 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.
                                    I received the delivery on 31st May and i was told it would be installed in 3 to 4 working day
                                    but no on turned up. after calling them up several times people did come to install my cupboard on 10 june.
                                    while installing the cupbord they realised that locker was not delivered.
                                    they asked me to call up the company and inform about this non delivery

                                    When i call up godrej they told they will deliver it in the next will on urgent basis.

                                    I received the call on 15th june that the locker will be delivered on 16th june.
                                    But I have not yet received the locker. And no one at godrej knows when my goods will be delivered.

                                    Even after the delivery of the goods i will have to wait for god knows how long for its installation.

                                    It is one and a half month now and no idea as to when my cupboard will be finally installed

                                      DEAR SIR, I HAVE PURCHASED AN GODREJ WINDOW A C 1.5 TON FROM DELHI ON 27 FEB 2011 BEFORE BUDGET HOPING RATE OF AC WILL INCREASE, VIDE BILL NO 21366 FROM SHAM LAL & COMPANY. WHILE BUYING THE SHOPKEEPER SAID SIR ALL AC'S ARE CHECKED IN GODOWN WHEN ASKED TO CHECK. WITH THE BELIVE AND GOODWILL I GOT THE DELIVERY AT DELHI ADDRESS.THEN I WENT TO RAJASTHAN FOR OFFICIAL TRANSFER. I GOT THE AC INSTALLED ON 07 JUN 2011 AT RAJASTHAN RESIDENCE AND FOUND IT IS NOT COOLING .THEN I IMMEDIATELY LODGED THE COMPLAIN TO GODREJ CUSTOMER CARE ON 07 JUN 2011 VIDE COMPLAIN NO :- 347312 AND CSN - 446. BUT AFTER THAT I HAVE SUFFERED A LOT BY THE GODREJ CARE AS THEY HAVE NOT CONTACTED ME FROM THERE SIDE ONCE AS I'M SUFFERING IN 50 DEGREE TEMPERATURE I DESPERATELY TRY TO GET A CONVINCING REPLY AND CHANGE OF MY AC BUT ALL IN VAIN .PLEASE CHECK ALL CONVERSATION TO BRING THE TROUTH AND GIVE ME JUSTICE BY REPLACING MY AC IMMEDIATELY AS IT IS A NEW PIECE BEING DEFECTIVE AND COMPENSATION OF 50,000 FOR THE INCONTINENCE RENDERED BY THE COMPANY AUTHORITIES WHO R THERE TO HELP NOT TO TROUBLE.MY MOBILE NO IS [protected] AND [protected] FORM WHICH I HAVE DONE ALL CONVERSATIONS. IN DESPERATION WHEN I CALL THEM THEY SAY AGAIN SIR IT IS UNDER PROCESS , WE WILL LET U KNOW BUT ALL IN VAIN .                                         The machine is returned on 06.06.2011 and not shown trial after repairing and forgot to return the following items which were taken by Dynamic Techno Services, Karkhana,Secunderabad

                                        The missing items are

                                        Collapsibile Drainage Hose pipe,
                                        Softener Dispensor,
                                        Rat Mesh
                                        Lint Collector/Filter

                                        The same has been informed with Godrej at Hyderabad on their telephone no.[protected] and they promised to send in couple of days

                                        hence you are requested to look into this issue.

                                        ORIGINAL COMPLAINT


                                        Purchased Godrej Washing Machine with Dryer and Rats spoiled the wiring kit. Complaint placed and Complaint No: 569020 and Godrej Authorised Service Centre M/s. Dynamic Techno Serives took the washing machine vide Receipt No: 2923 on 11.05.2011 along with an Advance Rs. 1000.00.

                                        Since a weeks time we are regularly following up with them and we got no responce keeping us hardships mental agony.

                                        We did nopt expected this type of POOR SERVICE from a reputed company like GODREJ
