As per the service agreement with Godrej Prakriti, sodepur, Kolkata, the purchased flat possession date was June 2015 with an extended period of 6 months, i.e Dec 2015.

But till now.( Sep 2016) I haven't received the possession. Also by looking at the construction status it seems that it will take more than a year to give the handover.

GP is continuously diverting the asked question regarding the confirmed possession date and compensation amount of late possession. This is unethical and unlawful in current professional world. This may hamper the brand name of Godrej.

    Booked 3 bhk flat with godrej in their project on dwarka expressway godrej summit sector 104. Payed 50, 000 inr through cheque in their home fest scheme. Cancelled within 10 days as was unable to secure loan. No refund given despite repeated request to godrej customer service team. Sales team person does not pick up the phone. Their is no response from their side. No mail till date confirming cancellation received till date.

      We purchased two apartments tivoli m503, 504, godrej garden city in year 2011 and we were promised to hand over the possession in dec.2014. since then we have been getting responses without any committed date of possession. last unfulfilled promise was given in writing in june, that we will have tentative possession in july. today 31st july, when we called them, they were not able to give any update and tentative date of possessions. they did not even bother to write to us apologizing the further delay and/or status update. when i asked the representative mr. shyam shukla, he mentioned that we can not get any compensation also for this delay!!
      I would like to know the exact date of possession and also the interest for the minimum period of about two years of delay.

        Hi,

        I have booked an apartment in godrej united project based out of bangalore tower "a" d-1103.

        Booking has been done almost 2 years back, for last 1.5 years we are being told that sanction plan is expected next month. month after month we are being given new dates.

        We have booked the apartment purely on the brand value of godrej and location.

        There has been no response from the customer service as well as sales team. i am also in customer service, for me client is o[censored]tmost importance. even if i am not having any clear response for him, would still pick up his phone or at least revert the calls/ mails.

        Now that we have put forward for cancellation of the unit, there is no clarity on refund. we have been promised refund with 15% interest but no is bothered to revert calls / mails.

        I am really stunned to see this indifferent attitude towards customers.

        I'm going through the same pain as well. I have been fighting with Godrej United customer support for the past 7 months. Godrej doesn't seem to care. Horrible horrible company to invest in. Please let me know if there is any progress in your case.

          Just wanted to share my feedback about so called class a builder godrej properties

          1. raised the final invoice without oc from bda, without khata, without completing amenities, with out power connection. this is just a eyewash not to pay penalty

          2. till today no permanent power connection. the people are staying with dg power

          3. godrej not ready to pay penalty for late delivery

          4. godrej is forcing customer to register the property at below market rate to save income tax. i understand this may lead customers in trouble in long run, but godrej is not bothered.

          5. please avoid any godrej products in future and show them customer feedback matters and can seriously impact their business.

            Dear sir/mam,

            I have booked a flat in godrej e-city. i have already completed the registration but unfortunately the main power (bescom) is not yet available. i have tried to contact gpl customer care & they have advised me to write the concern.
            I have elderly parents who can’t climb up stairs & due to availability constraints, i have booked the flat in 4th floor. request you to address this issue immediately.

            Note:

            The hand over team in the site says lift is not functioning because they didn’t receive the main power supply from bescom. i am still wondering why can’t they arrange a temporary supply for the lifts to function.
            Have invested around 90l on this project but still i couldn’t find a way to move into the property.

            With regards to your concern, we have identified the main cause and already started the rectification work at the site. Further, since the approval from CEIG is still pending, we have made temporary power arrangements. However, because the lift cannot be functional without a permanent power source, may we request you to allow us time till the CEIG approvals are received.

            We are expecting to receive the CEIG approvals shortly post which the lift will be functional.

              I have been trying get mutation done for my flat at godrej prakriti, kolkata for for the past 2 years but mutation authorities are not entertaining my request stating that godrej properties is yet to pay the taxes towards land etc. when i informed godrej prakriti authorities they seem to just ignore the issue.

              Further, quality of construction is very poor. when ever godrej prakriti is informed of the defects since handing over, they always come up with some excuse and do not rectify the problems.

                This is further to my complaint on the same dt 14th June.
                As usual Godrej Properties adopting the same tact of delaying by introducing new executive after some interval. Now in our case Mr.Ratan Oberoi introduced as executive to resolve the issue. First he listen passionately and latter asked to withdraw the complaint and assured the issue will be resolved amicably. Now Mr. Ratan is not traceable no information for status of my flat or refund of money.
                We have lost our faith in Godrej and doubt whether they will be providing the flat and facilities in the town ship(Godrej Anandam - Nagpur) as mentioned while booking the flat.
                Now we are calling all the numbers and same answer we understand your concern and revert back soon.
                We have Requested Mr Pirojsha Godrej Managing Director Godrej Properties to return our money. We have deposited the total amount(more than 1.14Cr) as per the schedule of Godreej Anandam
                Till date no positive response.

                  Respected Sir,
                  I am totally frustrated with Godrej garden city Ahmedabad. Godrej garden city had with me registered agreement(ATS) of flat Tivoli K for delivery possession on or before 31st Dec 2015 But, Developer delayed/ failure in possession as per commitment. Hence, i demand my full amount along with rate of interest at the rate of 15% which was signed by M/s Godrej authorities. Further to our on-going communications since November-15 and my personal meeting with Mr Hariharan on dtd:29th May 16 at Ahmedabad marketing office due to lack of responses & continue email communication since 25th May with Mr. Pirojsha Godrej & Ms Mamta Bakshi still date i haven’t getting my refund.
                  I wonder how Godrej can claim that the company is customer centric? I am not sure how by causing mental harassment, agony & not fulfilling your own promises is called customer friendly, also your customer Centricity representative requesting to accepting delayed and get benefit by selling it in market.
                  I need my money back with 15 percent interest of total paid. This is fair since they charge us the same when we are late. Why should i suffer because of their delays. Need urgent help to resolve this issue.

                    Godrej Properties at Nagpur project name as Godrej Anandam building a residential town ship. I booked a Flat in year 2013 scheduled delivery of flat was in march 2015.
                    After taking full amount more than 1.14 cr. Godrej Anandam invited for inspection of flat in Oct 2015. We were shocked to see the poor finish of the flat. Godrej Anandam assured for replacement of defective Italian Marble flooring and other finishing defect which were listed and photo graphed. After long persuasion builder informed for inspection again on 6th June 2016.When we visited flat shocked to see the same status of defect no rectification. Then Builder offered us other flat without OC.
                    We feel cheated by such a reputed builder and we have asked Godrej Anandam to pay the money with interest immediately as already they have taken lot of time.

                      The sales person Mr. Mukesh Mulani, did promised us to get the possession of Eden O 802 Flat in March 2015 while we visited him in Godrej Property Office during December 2014. It was clearly informed to him for the purpose of possession since we wanted to start the home loan and save our rent that we pay. The Flat was ready by then, we visited that personally along with Mukesh.

                      In spite of being aware that it won't be possible to handover the flat it was not informed to us that time.
                      We paid 9 Lac amount on the very next day as booking which they confirmed again to get us possessed by March 2015.
                      Later, Till August 2016 no document related to possession nor the possession was provided to us. We got Agreement generated in August 2015, which had a date of June 2015 as possession date, so if that was the case this was never informed to us prior. It was a total forgery.

                      At the end we got the possession in January end 2016, that too because we were continously behind their sales executive Mr. Dhaval Dave, who have been in communication with us and was bit cooperative but then always lied when we asked for possession date.

                      Later Mr. Dhaval and Mukesh too verbally agreed that we were too much disturbed in what we were needed and there was mental agony plus false commitments from Godrej Properties. They communicated with us that they have passed our query of compensation to higher management wherein we demanded a free parking slot.

                      Even in parking slot they lied while booking. They told the inner premises areas of entire Eden building where loan would be there is free parking area but then when we started living there we saw they have they have been allocated and when we asked they said the charges are 90k.

                      They only informed us earlier about one parking only that was underground and the charges for that was 2lac, we do have their pricing quotation that they provided as hard copy. They never informed us about 90k parking area.

                      We demand a compensation for the loss we had. The loss due to late possession, the higher rent I had to pay, the loss of saving in Home loan, the mental agony, the number of calls we had to make, the loss of petrol for traveling 12 x 2 kms every weekends.

                        I am really pained to bring to your kind notice that i purchased a flat during "godrej properties home fest 2016". I paid initial amount of rs.51000/- and they allotted me unit godsumf0204. I was advised to pay 20% of the project cost and necessary documents will be provided for processing of loan proposal with the bank. I deposited rs.20, 52, 213/- (Total rs.51000 + 20, 52, 213/-) being the 20% of my project cost on 18.03.2016 vide my cheque no.780685 (Drawn on sbi) at godrej office gurgaon. They assured me that necessary papers will be provided within 2/3 days. But they didn't honour their commitment. I contacted all the senior officials to provide me necessary documents but all in vain. Ultimately, i lodged complaint on 10th april, 2016 but surprisingly there is no resolution till date. None of the officials including sr. Manager mr. Deepak bhatia is responding. He has referred me to talk to mr. Xavir cell no. [protected], unfortunately the gentleman is not picking cell. He does not not respond to sms as well. Customer care people ms. Merlin has shown her helpless in resolving my genuine complaint. I have not asked for any favour. My simple request was to provide me documents for processing loan - eg. Builder buyer agmt etc. But that is not being. I have also requested the corporate centre of godrej properties, mumbai vide letter nos.12.04.2016, 04.05.2016, but there is no resolution to my grievance. The arrogance of the company officials is that they treat my complete closed when i lodge complaints in their site. This is the attitude of one of the india's biggest corporate house.In case we lodge a grievance regarding govt. Offices, within 24 hours, there is resolution but in case of pvt. Groups no body bothers. This is against customer interests.
                        My humble request is to resolve my grievance and do justice to me. Please help this homeless citizen whose only fault is booking a flat with the godrej properties at gurgaon (Haryana)

                        Its really sad to know that. Just a week back I booked a flat in Godrej and then I asked my bank representative to get the necessary documents for Loan sanction. To my surprise many of their projects are not approved from any bank. If you want you can google that out. In just 6 days I have sent them an email for cancellation. Though I have lost my booking amount.
                        I have known them very well in last 5 days, they are good for nothing.

                          Hi Team,

                          To avoid compensation for the delayed project, Godrej has sent me the final invoice "On Notice of Possession" which is original scheduled on the completion of project.

                          Project Name: Godrej E-City
                          Planned Completion Date + 6 Months Grace Period: Ending on April 2016.
                          Final Invoice- Is generate with due date April-24-2016 though the project is not completed. There's no electricity connection, amenities are not ready, unit (apartment) is also not completely ready yet. Also they haven't send any invite to inspect the unit before generating the final invoice.

                          They also sent the advance maintenance invoice for the under construction project.

                          I need them to generate a new invoice with actual project completion date and need compensation from Godrej on the delayed work.

                            I got the possession in aravali 1802- godrej prakriti on 27/11/2016.
                            While got the painting through asian paint suddenly found crack in wall in the hall near kitchen. Got it repaired through m/s godrej and repainted.

                            On 19/03/2016 during norwester rain found water leaking through all the windows. Even the water entered in the hall. In one of the room about half of bucket of water was found. This had damaged the paint/ wall and house hold items. On 20/03/2016 and then in regular interval matter was informed to godrej local management cc to mumbai office. E mail, letters, personal discussion were held to look into the matter but even after one month no action is seen in horizon.
                            Several requests have been made for early action as any time norwester rain followed by monsoon may be experienced. Leakage through windows would make the life difficult and may cause damage to house hold items.
                            Sorry to say so far no action is being taken by godrej o resolve the issue.

                              I booked a flat No. F-204 Godrej Summit Sector 104 Dwarka Expresswas Gurgaon, Haryana and paid 20% by 18th March, 2016 as advised by Sr. Manager Sales, Godrej Properties Gurgaon. At the time of booking, they promised me that necessary papers for applying to the Bank for loan will given within 2/3 days time. Despite my repeated telephonic reminders and various e mails to the Godrej Properties officials at their office 3rd Floor UM House Tower A, Plot No.35 Sector-44, Gurgaon-122002 there is no response from the Co. I am really disappointed by the service provided by the Co. In case I don't received papers immediately, i may not be able to make balance payment to the and the Godrej Properties will be responsible for this negligence.
                              Please take necessary action to resolve my grievance immediately.

                                As per agreement, Godrej prokriti, Kolkata, Sodepur, Kolkata 700115, comited to pay compensation @ 9pc if possession not given by June 2014, for my flat 106 Kanchenjunga Tower.

                                The possession of the flat given to me on 27th of Nov.2015 viz.after 17 months. Hence I an entilte to get compensation @ 9 pc on my t6otal Payment of 43 lacs. for 17 months.

                                  On payment timeline issue where everyone is completely
                                  Mislead/misinformed by godrej properties team & advertisements made online before investing money in
                                  Godrej icon. The payment which was supposed to be demanded in december-2017(Superstructure) & december
                                  -2018(Finishing/brickwork), is now being demanded in
                                  March-2016/september 2016 gurgaon & i had escalated the matter for resolution repeatedly at different levels including ceo mr. Pirojsha godrej & also the business head but response was really irresponsible.These advertisement are available online for anyone to view. Initially accepting the concerns & working for resolution, there was no mention of issue in their response. The time for possession/final payment in not being shared . This also shows how the customer are kept in dark on & than suddenly payments are demanded. The completion
                                  Time mentioned on agreement/application is 4.5 year, which means godrej properties is demanding 80% money in 1.3 yr & delay possession by 3 yr.
                                  Now threatening to forfeit money & charge interest is really worrying. I have decided to take proper legal advice & protect my rights. I am also sure new real estate law will take such builders to task & penalize them or cancel their license.

                                    This is about Prakriti, a real estate project of Godrej Properties. Specifically about cheating and lying by Mr. Arun Burman and Abhikendra Saha. I had booked for two flats - going solely by Brand Godrej and L&T as constructors. After my initial booking, I had a paralytic stroke and took some time to pay the installments. Then I did make the complete payment for Kanchenjunga 1206, taking a bank loan.
                                    I was then invited to come and do the registration. I fly to Kolkata with my wife, and once there, minutes before I go to the registration venue I get ambushed by Team Godrej who say "registration will not take place" as I owe some more money! There they say some interest money for late payment is there and can I come the next day for registration (by Arun Burman) - about 2-3 lakhs!. I am aghast. Why did they not intimate me before? The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing? In the registration there goo[censored]ps galore as wrong names are inserted in the registration form.
                                    They then give me a type written paper which has NO Godrej name or letterhead or logo and mentions that I have to pay 12 Lakhs! And only then will I get the keys. I do the registration and all the personnel on the ground including the Legal head and Mr Abhishek Mitra, evince sympatghy, and assures that nothing will come out of it.
                                    In the meantime, I get incessant calls before coming to Kolkata for registration from Abhikendra Saha requesting if I would like to make balance payments for the second flat - Kapilash 1406. I informed him that I would like to walk away, although I had paid 4 Lakhs, as the asking interest was too much. He then gave me a formal letter that the interest is waived off. All these he did not mention anything about 12 lakhs of interest for Kanchenjunga 1206, indicating malafide intent.
                                    Now the situation is such that I have paid in full for both the flats (Kapilash is ahead of schedule), the project has been delayed over an year, and I am not getting the Sale Deed or the Keys to Kanchenjunga. In the meantime, I have already paid 10 months of pre-EMI, suffering huge cost.
                                    Is this what Brand Godrej is all about?
                                    Not all people in Godrej are bad; but because of incompetency of a few, well paid managers, the brand is now in a bad light.

                                      I am a customer who has purchased an apartment in Godrej E city, Bangalore with a lot of God belief and trust that I am purchasing an apartment with a renowned and reputed Indian household name and since that have been put to a lot of woes.

                                      It has been 3 plus years now and I have not been able to see my apartment till date. I have paid 98 % of my dues' and everything was paid on time. My many requests have been turned down by the staff here in Bangalore, who are either rude or not bothered about customer's request. Any number of requests go into deaf ears, and I am not sure if they take " Customers Voice' up with the senior management or not .

                                      We were told that a Visit to the Site would be arranged in the month of Dec'15, this was pulled out to Jan '16 and now Feb'16 is approaching and there has been no news from your team over here. My requests have been turned down especially by Mr. Govardhan or Ms. Kamala ( Govardhan of late, as Ms. Kamala seems to be too busy to lift the line to answer a customer's call though she is the namesake Customer Care Manager ). This gentlemen has a typical recorded answer that " management has not allowed for a visit" and his behaviour is very languid.

                                      Now is the management of the reputed Godrej Family name insensitive to their customers requests... It gives us a feeling that we are being cheated and there is something dubious going on inside, . Can you please look into this and arrange for an immediate resolution to end this ambiguity sir

But its mid December now, no response from Godrej. its really pathetic that no one from Godrej even pics the call and responds to the email.
