We are an aggrieved set of customers who have been cheated by Godrej Properties. Just to give you a background

- Godrej Properties came out with a huge marketing campaign promising a gated community consisting of 3 towers at Mangalore. Name of the Project: Godrej Alpine. Launch was in 2013 with committed date of delivery in 2015. I along with many other customers booked a 3 bhk apartment in Tower 1 of the project.
- Godrej was apparently developing this project on joint basis, with a separate land owner
- As we are stepping in to 2017, we are yet to get possession of our apartment. In the meanwhile, Godrej went ahead and cancelled development of tower 2 and refunded the money back to tower 2 customers with interest. They had decided well in advance to scrap the original planned project & while doing that they kept us all (tower 1 customers) in dark. They have completed the construction of Tower 1, however the amenities are missing. We all paid a significant premium for a gated community with all amenities including a swimming pool, squash court, jogging track etc. However with only 1 tower being ready, they apparently dont have space to provide us all the amenities
- In Sept'2016, Godrej finally agreed to meet us customers to inform us status of the project. In this meeting, they informed us that the Land owner had certain issues with the Income tax department & hence there is delay in possession. We customers were not happy with this, since all they were promising was only the flat with most amenities curtailed & project changed to the committed plans at the time of booking. Certain amenities like Squash court are being ruled out by them
- As of today, even the possession of just our flat has not been done. We all have paid 95% of total dues to Godrej, without any avail. Now Godrej has called us for another meeting on 14th Jan'2017 where they apparently want to share some ''solutions'. We have escalated the issue right up to the MD of Godrej Properties and also to the board of directors. However we havent yet got any clear response on what is the final outcome.
- As a group of customers, we have asked Godrej properties to either stick to the original plan (gated community with all amenities) or refund us our money (including of Service tax, VAT etc) with 18% interest. Unfortunately Godrej is not committing anything & is just keeping us on the boil. They keep changing their stance & have blamed the land owner, heavy rains etc. Godrej properties dishonest & do not deliver the project as committed at the time of booking. BEWARE!!!

Response seen for complaints are all similar-robotic.
No humane approach.
GPL believes only in profitability. To hell with genuine end users.

I do agree with his view point
I believe godrej is all out to cheat people. Its not just you guys, if you check reviews in other websites people are literally bleeding because of false promises from godrej. Here in ahmedabad also the situation is similar ... we have been waiting for the past two years for possession... commercial space on the ground floor which was never mentioned anywhere up untill we found out ourselves during a recent visit... ours are supposed to be premium towers by the way... n we have lesser privacy, security and space as they are cordoning off a major portion of the open dpace on the groundfloor to commercial ... as compared to any other cluster, quality of anything from construction to fillings and flooring is pathetic ... they showed us a sample flat while the tower was under construction ... but there is vast difference between the actual and sample flat...
they make intentional errors in sales deeds so that they can keep charging the direction or view premium from other customers... i[censored] by chance do not go through each and every alphabet in the sales deed u are bound to end up getting the wrong flat. ... n i[censored] find out they will make all kinds of excuses from the display model being incorrect to the brochures showing wrong direction...this was my iwn experience... i finally got things corrected but it took about six months and a considerable amount if leg work from our end... all in all ... hoping that at some point if time the government realizes the height if dishonesty on their part and takes somes really harsh and strict action against them.

If the team instead of having a cheating approach could rather be transparent and supportive, they could have done better business. I faced similar issue at Godrej site in Hinjewadi Pune. Struggling to get resolve. False commitment from the seller who I was believe from Ahmedabad. With all false commitment, he target was to get the flat book and get the booking amount.
Same shameless approach from Godrej Properties irresponsible customer care.

I have booked 1 BHK flat in Godrej Nirvaan Tower 3(Flat Code-GNNT030202) pre-launch on 11th JAN 2020 by pay 1, 84, 209. But after book flat due to some financial problem I realize that I can't arrange money for flat so gone to godrej for cancel my flat booking. They had told me that you will not receive your booking amount because its not refundable. I asked for non refundable rule so they show me agreement form which was written in financial word and its not understandable for us. When I was doing booking at that time no one has told me about cancellation policy. I seen agreement was not real its like book that godrej has printed. How they can define rule by this way? I know this type of defined rule is not valid. i want to take legal actions.

I have done many follow-ups with onsite team Palka Madam and Mr.Akshay(Channel Partner-Homebazar), they told me that your amount can't be refund.

Really this is too much How can Godrej take my money? I have many financial problem and they are not refunding my money. Why brand is behaving like cheater?

I will not suggest to anyone to go with Godrej property. When you deal than you can realize and that you have no time for back.

Can you please know what I can do? I need my money back. I am ready to take legal actions against Godrej I will fight for all people those are cheated like me.
